Yeah I never let it get into the red lol I barely like getting into the yellow. I use spring to give me a little extra carry weight too

Honestly I might try to find a mod to make them more..realistic. Idk it just seems crazy to me they can hit every single bullet from any range as soon as they detect you. Literally buckshot drilling me from any range is so annoying lol

if you’re on pc there is indeed a mod that makes them less accurate at long range

although I will say it doesn’t affect the buckshot enemies much, they still just pepper you from any range

Every time I would get close to one in lesser zone & garbage it would never spawn. Like it was under the map or something idk. Annoyed the crap out of me so I gave up on hunting for them for awhile. Now I find them everywhere!

you can find artifacts right off the bat after the prologue as long as you have a scanner. it's just about learning what of the places is considered a cluster to know which will have an artifact.

Artifacts being under the map can still happen, it's why i hit quicksave before i get in range of a cluster as it can move it back

I’m confused though..I put one medium radio protection & 2 more weak radio protection then put thunderberry in last slot. But I still was gaining slight radiation. Isn’t 2 medium protection equal to max??

Weak is 20%, medium is 40%, strong is 60% and max is 80%
Some with 2 weak effects have only 10% of each though.

40+20+20 equals 80 though, so I'm not sure what's up with that.

and it's likely some of the artifacts are listed wrong or outright bugged like i have a weight arifact for medium and like when i am not using Weird Water it's 6kg where a weak is uhh 3 i think, but then when i use weird water and my suit adds another 8, so i get put at 132, the artifact makes to 140 instead by adding at least 8kg.

I'd save the max artifacts for whenever you get a liquid stone (max anti rad), or a suit with Lead container upgrades (cancel all rads from artifacts)

Exactly... It's the small things that usually make the biggest difference.

The reason why the LoTR is is globally loved, is because despite it being fantasy, the world is believable, people act as they would do, the world made sense, it was well crafted.

STALKER 2 deserves the same, I believe the game could be epic, but only if the devs and walked the right path, took their time and cooked to Michelin standards.

I love STALKER and for all my anger against what has happened to me in my games, it is because I want them to correct it and become a roaring success.

Yes I never said that was not true. However, keeping track of certain states (such as allegiance to factions) is a trivial implementation. Thus rather than the problem of having to keep track of all these states it is incredibly more likely that gsc ran out of time to fully flesh out these further interactions and story lines.

So I keep seeing comments that the A-life in stalker 2 is still bad but I don't see it. Like I still see the random stalkers fighting random hordes of mutants and they loot their dead comrade's bodies. What else is missing?

It's basically a mix of things that people are complaining about
One example is that the distance enemies will actually spawn in is very low, and people are going in with the expectation of it being like previous games, for instance sniping in stalker 2 is pretty much non-existent outside of 100m (which doesnt even feel that far, ingame, in the actual game files weapons rarely have a range above 30-35m)

but the game files aren't really 1:1 with what you would measure the range youre shooting at in-game, but my point is its pretty low because realistically alife only exists in a small bubble around your character with limited tracking / events being simulated in the background, and people look at that like, hey, i still dont get that much fps / have issues + everything feels limited

theres another form of side quest in s2 thats not in the journal. if you read the pdas and notes you find. sometimes it leads you into mini quests that arent given by a person and you dont like turn them in for roubles but you might get some loot or something

Works well enough, you go from A to B and A-life stuff happens in between about as frequently as in the trilogy.

Location specific scripted spawns (like IPSF guards at the cordon military checkpoint etc) still respawn too quickly IMO, but that's a separate thing and technically not A-life related.

They're both on the same level, pretty much. Fora is a level up 5.45 rifle after the AK, G36 is a level up 5.56 after the HK416.
I prefer the G36 over the Fora. Slightly less recoil, slightly more range, slightly more accurate. Much more sexy.

s2 economy isn't too hard either. it can be a bit tough at the beginning, but after some time becomes easier. just remember to not upgrade your armor until much later lol

coz armor upgrades are really expensive, make the repairs more expensive as well, and you gonna soon change to a new armor anyway

so like, don't upgrade for sure at least until you get something of the level of seva / falcon / exo

Very few of them are actually worth grabbing in all honesty, the Pot saves you needing to carry so much food an the Nut is good for bleeds, can't say I rate any of the others particularly. The Flower only lasts a short duration, but can save you from getting gangbanged by muties, but it really does'nt last long enough to be called "good"

hey guys im still crashing during the main story mission down below after hte boss fight when I am talking to the man himself and richter because of the emission, however the game just hangs and stops responding at a certain point in the emission as opposed to just crashing, any advice?

For main story reason,malacite is bad, it goes hostile in my playthrough. Meen tech lady in yaniv gives missions and by completing them I got a guide(bugged) green along with the trader hawaii or something of the sort. Now rain claims later on the techie can also go green, that I have not yet seen.

runs stalker 2 so well, so amazingly well, and i gotta say it was the best game ive ever played in my entire existence of being on this planet

i mean....you must've played a limited amount of games if Stalker 2 feels like the best

mind you i got 416 hours on it on steam

it's just nowhere near being done, so much is cut and other things is bad

so many people can still not finish the game because there is so many progress blocking bugs in the story for seemingly all sides

the AI feels like such a downgrade from the original titles.

gun balance is now a tier thing of sorts where early game guns are plain bad later on.

so bad that you have to shoot the highest armored enemy in the head with an AKM-U like 8+ times up close.

the game also only has a draw distance of 100m, has no like offline combat where AI fights it out while you're not in range, the system just does a dice throw on who will win a fight and then kill the losers.

they introduced a sleep mechanic only for people to never need to sleep because they can just have an energy drink after 3 days and they're good to go again.

some of the mutants also feel unreasonably unfair. they put the game out where the Psi dogs would have no cooldown on spawning illusions so 1 dog would end up spawning 30 clones and you wouldn't have time to find the real one unless you got incredibly lucky or somehow got the jump on one

and in the older games the Bloodsuckers were semi legendary mutants that you'd only gun into a few of but here they're on you regularily to the point i see more of them than i do of Boars

and they also introduced mutants being able to knock you down which it does, and if you're unlucky enough to fight 2 or 4 at once, the others will literally come over and kick your ass while you're on the ground getting up

they also gave it a roar attack now that stuns and slows you significantly, also making you basically unable to fight back while the other 3 is beating you up while dazed

you also get nothing from Mutants so it's a waste of resources to fight them

well in yaniv the one who gives the missions for me is the lady tech. in malchite the one who gives me the missions is the dcotor(needle_ i have talked to all of the faction people in both yaniv and malchite and it didnt raise the relations AFAIK

i am at white relations ith both factions atm, i am interested in raising them from white to green ( to reduce upgrade/repair cost at yaniv and in malachite to make the guide cheaper. and yes , the hawaiian? and guide in yaniv are green for me already its just al the other guys that are white
