You have to be quick to grab your gun back.

Supposedly they should have fixed the guns just disappearing when grabbed but I guess they didn’t

The Burer can also only grab your gun if it’s got a line of sight on you. So peeking out from a box or a corner can make it so it doesn’t have time to pull your gun. But they also make a forcefield which makes them invulnerable while it’s up.

Feels like the legendary artifacts drop more often when you get later into the main story. I get almost no common artifacts anymore, lots of uncommon and rare, som legendaries.

Also, if you have armor with high phys resistance (4.5-5 bars), you don't need compass.

Altered insulator was in that train tunnel where you escort the future founders of Spark. After you get the insulator, you head back out and have to kill a controller before it fully takes control of those guys and turns them hostile.

Sounds like you're doing that early main quest at The Sphere though. That area is an IPSF (military) spawn zone, or at least around the main entrance to the building is, so don't hang around there for too long. Underground should only have unique spawns that don't respawn.

I do what I call loot runs, where I take nothing but a few meds and Skif pistol. I try to hit as many stashes on map or look for guns to resell. Do all the side missions you can, if you take the time to always sell after getting a full inventory then you’ll never run into money issues.

Go to the off the beaten path areas. Anything the opposite direction of main mission pathing, you’ll find plenty of buildings and places with anomalies. Any place with lots of cars or helicopters on the map, any buildings or swamps in a given area

For example cooling towers has 4 artifacts I believe and a side mission for duty that you’d never get access to unless you just decided to explore that area on your own

For the guns I would argue both will feel a bit weak past one point, but you'll stumble across replacements. Mostly the M860 suffers from its rate of fire especially against mutants, as for the AR416 I think it's the penetration stat that's gonna be a bit weak once everyone is wearing heavy armour
As for the Corundum suit, it's decent I think, if you play cautiously it's ok. But there's much better, with more upgrades for late game (plus amidst the heavy armours I think the Corundum is more expensive to repair than others)

Yeah it's a unique dnipro, you can only get it in Ward / Spark playthroughs, and its locked behind the point of no return. In one of the playthroughs (I don't know if it differs for the other) it sits on a table behind Strelok in one of the final missions.

Vogs and 40mm HEDP do exactly the same, but the Vogs are cheaper and lighter.
Upside of the NATO 40mm is that you can attach the launcher to one of the best assault rifles, the Kharod. The Dnipro on the other hand can not have a Vog-type launcher attached.
