Technically they all do, but some of them have armor so low that even standard rounds from early game guns will negate it.

welp, i went to look at a body that i thought would have a Ram-2 maybe a Kharod or a Rhino but it ended up just having a red 416 and a sniper suppressor

It has a lot of cool content created by developers, like little side quests you can find on your own, easily has 100 hrs of content. But really lacks in procedurally generated content. A-life is still lacking (devs did A LOT but it's still like 20% of what needs to be done), a lot of repeatable missions are bugged (rostok -- bugged for me, zaton -- also no repeatable missions, etc., I'm not sure if malachite or cordon have some either, it's basically little zone, cement factory, garbage, and rostok if it wasn't bugged for many ppl)

I might hit 150 hrs (at 120 rn) because I wanna see more endings etc., but after you explore most of the world it really looses it's charm coz there's no much of freeplay

On the other hand we still have 100+ hrs of content and I am really glad we have this game to play so I'm not complaining

the one in yaniv is related to quest where you find a way to get into prypiat, basically it's very late in the story. Just do story missions and at some point you'll get to that scientist bunker at yaniv. But not soon, idk where u r now

This goes on for a couple minutes and I burn through all med kits and bandages..I eventually got away but barely. So, I finally played the game.

I believe that the OG Stalker games are one of the best games ever made and still stand out.
I was excited and cautious about part 2.
Naturally.
But I went all in and bought Ultimate, to support people from Ukraine, while I was working in Sweden, so I couldnt even play it, when it came out.

Then I realised it was released unfinished (and the dishonesty of the devs really was head scratching - just admit it) and waited for patches.
After the last patch I gave it a go.

And was absolutey mind blown, how bad the narrative is.
Skif is just a guy who is pissed because a magic stone destroyed his flat.
Thats it?
The moment before he jumps over the wall he says "I am not afraid of the zone" and that is objectively bad writing.
The game tell the player, that the following area is not to worry about. It demystifise the whole zone. Thats not how you create tension.
Ok, keep going. Maybe he will get a wakeup call.
But no, Skif is just a "too hard for this world" - man, with no emotions, no fear, no problems.
I never felt like a newbie to the zone, while all NPCs treated me like one.

And I am so tired of these Eastern Style narrative, of tough hardened man, who deal with everything. Tarkov, Atomic Heart, Stalker 2...all the same line. Over the top too cool for all and women are too weak to fight.
Even Stalker 2 doesnt have them as Stalkers, while in real life Ukrainian women volunteer to fight and Russian couldnt have defeated the Nazis without them.

Why wasnt Skif a zone hardened veteran, who was living his life, but the zone followed him back home, so he was forced to go back? His attitude could have been "I know the zone, while I dont know it. I fear it, while I am confident in it."
Easy. Would have saved the whole atmo from the start. You are a badass, but with respect for you surroundings.
And that bolt tutorial. You wake up and are suddenly surrounded by an anomaly. The first game handled that more organicly, too.

So, yeah, I am disappointed and now I expect all Sigma Males to come down and call me damn weakling, like gamers are with an unpopular opinion.

Skif supposedly saw duty somewhere in some unit so I think combat isn’t new to him but yeah I feel like blud should be a bit more worried about anomalies knowing what they can do to people lol. And yes I would have liked to see female stalkers too but I guess we had to settle for there being women in the game at all.

There’s no side quests in Pripyat at all so once you get there all the good loot you find is basically useless

So grab it early so you can use it during gameplay
