Need to get the game to a place were something like that would be viable.

Need more dynamic NPS's that don't walk in straight lines over anomalies and towards thrown grenades etc

A more dynamic economy, and tech shops...

Better gun ballistic models, mutants that make sense, and not have every single with armour, so the only weapon ammo in game to use is AP, as everything else pointless.

Basic weapon repair for out in teh field, to slow down wear and tear, until you can get it fixed by a tech (as someone suggested)

They need better food mechanics, by rights, most of the food in the zone would be rotten, bases and trade hubs would have the fresh food.

I am all for making the zone hard, but it needs to be done with common sense and nuance, and not just turn a bloodsucker into a RPG sponge where need 10 rockets to kill it... Because that feels like the level of thought that has gone into far too much for many things

Tiredness isn’t tied to quests. It can happen normally the issue is it takes too long.

i agree with all of that! i feel like, in general, the game throws way too much at you in terms of enemies, but it counteracts that by giving you a trillion medkits and grenades. and i think it should all be slower, scarcer, more survival.

Yeah, unlisted effect is it staves off tiredness and without Energy Drinks it takes 4 in game days to start turning you tired.

no i use them mostly when i need to run but im heavy

the game gives you so many i figure why not. i use a ton of those, eat constantly, burn through bandages and medkits. game just gives you so much, no reason not to use them aggressively

I mean the way they work is they restore like 2 bars of stamina but then for a time massively increases your regen rate.

Bloodsuckers are ambushers... that is why they are... Encounters should be deadly, because of the way they hunt....

but they just spawn every 5 mins, and basically bullet sponge that annoy you (constanlty) by pusing you over.... in packs of 3/4 or as high as 6....

less is more... Horrors are best when they are slow.

The new update made my game worst before this update I had no bugs or problems in story or much in the world, now mutants are glitched following me across the map, npcs running in weird formations then disappeared, enemy presence always when nothing is around, terrible for 112gb why is everything being broken instead of fixed cause I had no problems up until this point

The problem with the zone is that morally it is a hole lot of grey. Are monolith evil? They are not even in control of themselves. C-Con is. Are C-con evil, they went in with good intentions, realised they bot off more than they could chew, understand the threat of the zone and noosphere... Understood the greed of stalkers, understand that people wouldn't understand what they understood...

And pushed the idea of Wish Granter, and the monolith to protect the Wish Granter, further adding weight to the illusions, in order for everyone to leave them alone, so they could concentrate on holding back the zone and controlling, whilst being one person down, who chickened out and ran away.

Was Strelok evil then, for killing the people in the true ending (C-Son), resulting in the zone becoming more wild and dangerous of them losing control... due to death...

The morals of the zone a wonderful shade of grey with lavish sprinkling of nuance.

Although some... like Bandit, Renegades and Ward are evil. They are, all about themselves, and will use any method for personal gain.

Ward destroying the zone wasn't to do with making the world safe, it was to ensure no one else get the the technology they had got for the advantage over everyone else in the world.

This is why I would have loved Noontine to be the goodies, something that you learn half way through the game when wards intentions are truly revealed.

Noontide should have stayed as Noontide... There literally was no way for them to return as Monolith, Faust was a mutated nut job created in a lab, that just allowed him to see the zone differently... But he was off his rocker, and really, his path was a fools errand... And could have been a separate branch in it own right, only for you to realise in the final cut scene how terribly wrong you got it.

And I completely agree about timeless enemies. It's like the cybermen and darleks. They have come and gone more often the CW TV shows... They should have been left alone after a certain point... They it just becomes boring, you know they won't win...

I disagree as my experience from patch one has been nothing but fluent and enjoyable in terms of gameplay optimization. Game has bugs yes, but fps aint a problem if you have a decent rig. If you play on a 3000 series dont complain. Dont expect a 2024 UE5 game to work like a charm on your 2018 grpahic cards and gpus

Yeah ... any person with a minimal of coding or 3d animation training sees that this was rushed AF. The fact that foliage has no cover mesh tells a lot. Basically there should be a kind of block around the bushes that you dont see. That block counts as a wall in the code. You can change the properties to make the invisible wall/cube semi transparent to simulate concealment. But it doesnt , there is no cover mesh at all from what I can see

Xbox series S and X have the same issue , most probably the gpu requirements being unoptimized. Basically there's too many things to load at high distances which breaks render meshes and the quantum mechanics of high distances textures

So because of that we see the texture meshes being loaded (green blocks, pink blocks or yellow blocks)

That is how the npcs "sees" the world by the way 🙂

RenderDistance CodeLine's are responsible for the rendering of the map, model's, and anything static basically.

when its broken it will make unrendered stuff fall through the map etc which can make room for bugs which could maybe be an issue in the future if people find a way to launch faster than the game can load to break into spot's they want to.

i dont think its too much of an issue as with wemod's teleport function it literally drops you 100m above a point on the opposite side of the map, instantly

I started to see models being downgraded. You can see that when it rains. The white lines of your gun (that represents wet textures) are whiter than usual. This means models and textures are being toned down. And honestly it's not a bad move.

Exactly, they shouldn’t function that differently in game as they usually do. Games also tend to over do recoil. When you have a proper shooting stance and experience with a particular weapon, you don’t feel the recoil as much. My main gripe is ak74u becomes weak even though 5.45 is a good round with high velocity. They switched from 7.62 to 5.45 for a good reason

if they let you repeat random missions for coupons, it'll be from certain traders around the map, sometimes it's the bar man, sometimes it's the Tech and sometimes it's the gun trader.

I tried a new patch yesterday and I deleted shortcut from my desktop to not remind me I have it installed. Also updates are not worth killing drive health. My impressions (do note, new freshly started game); NPC; can see you all the time when you are in an active bubble, they shoot you through bushes all the way long, they don't move from spot, follow or perform any movement - second - near close other NPC spawn and engage in combat just to give you illusion of A-Life and its activity - third - moving further from NPC they are disabled - forth - stealth is non existent - fifth - aimbots still present - sixth - game looks worst than ever, blurred smudged LOD disaster, I guess their "workaround" attempt of optimisation.

In short, not even able to match standards AAA game nowadays as it is announced; broken quests, broken world, broken performance - GSC wish you all best fixing this mess (I did preorder game to support team).

The newest patch CP NPCs are better than the S2 ones currently. I did one playthrough (Ward ending) and the one thing that aggroed me the most was combat being so bad. Basically all the issues you outlined above. From aimbot, to not following properly, etc. And don't even get me started on A life

Also, these games are not like ordinary games. The best games released in recent years. I mean Cyberunk was a huge game and it turned out bad because they rushed it, but now it's very good. True i loved cyberpunk very good game . but the thing is i started playing after phantom liberty got released so all major game breakers were already fixed. And for stalker i haven't encountered any game breaking bugs besides my stash being f*ed up . but for that i have a ticket at gsc support . after the latest update it fixed the crashing but it's still not sorting so all items are all over the place

And as for expectations . imo people expect way to much now a days .
