However the new dlss4 while initially is a "Wow, looks better", you will see all kinds of artifacts/ghosting on the foliage, unless you use DLAA. Even quality exhibits this, while performance is unplayable. I made a video about this if youre curious.

i did swap the game DLLs, but i'm not using the new nvidia panel, so i guess it just updated the standard 2x FG and upscaling

not even just nebulous "in the game files" stuff but things that can be "un-paused"/reactivated if you go in to mess with the game systems, so a lot of missing content and functionality can in theory be restored

it appears that some data loss may have occurred and what we are witnessing is GSC doing a fairly complete rebuild, not (just) simply fixes

better NPC carried gear and money.. Every Single one 700K
More dynamic quests and quest types, not 3 day cool down either.

To name but a few of the problems... Then it would be a 9/10

Vanilla stalker has always been sort of a particular kind of wonky—thus, that vanilla has shortcomings and idiosyncracies itself doesn't bother me. there are lots of issues preventing it from running well at this time, one specific issue particularly in places like rostok is that the game appears to render objects behind other objects with collision configured improperly or similar which it doesn't need to be doing, so you look a direction in the city and even though youre staring at a blank wall or whatever the game is rendering all the objects behind it, the interiors, the lighting, etc.

Yeah, but that does also have +max rads though. The Nut is great because you can pick it up early, when you might not have a lot of lead containers on your suit. It doesn't slow down healing that much either.

You selling and buying stuff at stores. If you buy and sell stuff to the store regularly, they become more popular, which draws in more STALKERS into a given base, resulting in discounts etc...

Also, having to wait in line for NPC's to do their shop, which results in a more dynamic stock, so when you see something you want, you might need to nab it then, in case the stalker behind you buys it.

i have 2 railgun's all the exosuit's besides the quest unlocked diamond exosuit, i have a zircon and debut suit with an optician gasmask, a weird meat lighter artifact and stacks on stacks of every gun in this game

like 100-200 of all medical or alcoholic item's, and roughly a full bison trade inventory of ammo times 2-3.

im looking for new armor besides exosuit's.

ive been playing since day one. Ive posted it a few times, but my strategy is using no armor for low repair cost or bandit jacket for weight artifacts, andf skifs pistol. im sitting at 240ish hours.
