PC has more advantages than console, you have mods, the potential for higher framerates (even if you might not have them at this point due to ongoing optimization) and you know, mouse and keyboard is much better to play any FPS with because range of motion translates directly to accuracy

How far into the game are you? It seems more things spawn into regions where you've done the main missions. I base this purely on my own anectdotal experience though, might just be coincidence.

All the endings are worse objectively speaking but the only one that aligns with what Skif was looking for lies with Ward

Monolith keep Stalkers from getting too deep into the Zone, mainly the CNPP, the Brain Scorcher, and any other locations that are deemed essential/important by the C-Consciousness.

C-Con Agents are sent out into the regular stalker population to assassinate specific targets at the behest of C-Con, specifically people who are dangerously close to getting to the center successfully e.g. Strelok. The reason his programming failed is because he was mistakenly given orders to kill himself.

Basically, Monolith are a defensive force, while the C-Con Agents are an offensive force.

Stalker 2 release sadly was another disappoinment, til this day the game is broken at some points, the memory leak in Rostok made me stop playing as its crashing with ram usage going suddenly off the roof til the app crash.... but i have some missions there so im forced to stay longer than 2 min or so and then it incresae the chances of the leak trigger....

now this is a game breaking bug, not a small thingy one can look over.... its sad to see they decided to go ahead on Nov instead of say delay again til Feb 2025 maybe.

Use 66% dlss resolution and make sure you don’t skip shader warmup. Problem goes away after that.

Skipping the shader warmup is a thing? Sometimes my shader warmup fails and it skips it on its own the next time I launch.

I think there is no specific need because I'm playing on easy with a diamond exo with 2 compasses and a hypercube afixed.
