The only information I have found is them saying that the canon ending would effect the dlc and sequels, but we don’t know exactly how it will effect it, it could be a fallout 3 broken steel situation or a cyberpunk phantom liberty situation, both of which have endings that effect the canon, but both are implemented very differently

Faust is a noontider who for story reasons you’ll find out later can still remember his time as a monolithian and has been telling people that as monolithians they got to experience genuine happiness due to the noosphere connection. They were fed illusions that made them feel fulfilled. So he and strider are kinda at odds since strider would rather move past their monolith past but a lot of the noontiders are dissatisfied so faust appeals to them by speaking about the monolith and it’s voice. The pda itself isn’t relevant it basically was just there to confirm that the noontiders/monolithians were involved in some way with the scanner and took it/are using it and icarus is all you have to go on to figure out where the scanner is now since it seems the noontiders don’t know why their pda was found there

There are grav anomalies you can hit. Quick save and you will see blue gas like anomalies scattered in a small area below. Its a nod to Assassin’s Creed. I even did it myself after claiming the Weird Nut.

the lack of sprint isnt actually a huge problem because 1, you still move decently fast, and the extra weight capacity will keep your walking speed high with more loot, and 2, the extra protection is seriously effective. you'll probably be taking half as much damage in the exosuit against bloodsuckers, etc., and this gives you the time to kill these kinds of enemies that sprinting away normally would. chimeras still probably gonna rip your eyes out though. I would keep it for special occasions when you are planning on big fights, and use seva when youre planning on artifact hunting, since sprinting is invaluable then.

Im not sure. I think it lies in the eye of the beholder, and I think the first game, SOC, exemplifies that well with is varied endings. None of them have anything to do with the faction who has most control of the Zone, theyre all concerning Strelok’s goals and the nature of the Zone itself.

In fact one could argue that the very focus on the factional conflict is a dig against tribalism/factionalism as a whole. Many sidequests in S2 have characters that even directly say this

To me what i liked really much about the stalker franchise is its approach on npc lore. If you pay attention during the playthrough of all titles the producers did a good job at giving every faction some relateable arguments to root for.
Even if you dont agree with every ideology every faction has one that makes sense on paper.
And oh yes i sold my soul for that AK and had to reload a earlier safe to redeem myself once i understood its just a reskin no stat boost

As a new fan, s2 atleast frames it in a very neutral, sort of figure it out yourself manner, when it comes to directing you between choices. It's a breath of fresh air in narrative storytelling in recent RPGs outside of maybe Baldurs Gate

Absolutely. And you can find yourself almost swaying between them at times, or at least I can.

I feel at the end of the day I resonate most with Clear Sky or Free Stalkers. For the most part, I disagree with the idea of categorizing an ideology behind a party/faction as i think it dilutes people’s attention as to what matters, ie actual ideological policy.

And i value scientific progression and general prosperity over other ideologies as well, and failing that, individual freedom takes precedence.

The Zone is a potential technological springboard. It could make up for all the time humanity lost in the 600 year long Dark Ages, and further. It should be preserved and studied as best as possible

I highly advise you to play Call Of Prypiat and Shadow of Chernobyl. Clear sky can be skipper. But if you can handle the graphics you will see even the old titles are a RPG masterpiece

There's a building with a bunch of energy drinks that the tornado covers on its' path, allowing you to safely enter the eye of the tornado. You have to complete the 'parkour' along the cargo crates while within the storms eye and then the bolt will 100% spawn when you reach the crane.

Just found a way to save zalissya from the monolith attack

get wemod, load your save in the village when the monolith members are still stuck inside, shift+f4 outside the main building, go back to a save BEFORE the emission, shift+f5 and you're teleported to the village andyou still have the time before the emission

There's a dark swampy-looking section directly north of it (assuming PDA "up" is north), near the top of Zaton. The anomalous area marker will be on top of an elevated section, and the larger rocks (visible on the map) are the potential spawn locations.

It started during the hallucination when you search the scene of grays death. I completed the rest of the quest and moved onto An Act of Mercy but still hear it. It stops when I reload a save prior but starts right back up when I hit that point. Sorry for double messaging I just can’t find anything online either about it.
