A bit of a strange bug. If you swap to your knife after pulling the pin on a grenade mid throw animation, just before it leaves your hand, you lose the grenade (as in it completely disappears from your inventory), however if you swap to your knife/etc right after throwing the grenade, you will not actually consume the grenade in your inventory but will still actually throw a grenade that explodes

If you have an optimized build and don’t just think your 4060 will be fine, this game is cpu heavy and so if you actually build a balanced pc, it should be running fine. so long as it’s not 13/14 gen i9 try switching from dlss to fsr if any of you want to boost frames, its helped some

yea that’s also the trade off i’ve been seeing. But for some it’s a nothingburger sacrifice they make in a heartbeat. I think it’s pretty much gonna fall onto what the person wants to do. There’s really a lot of settings you can use to fine tune it. I don’t think many are willing to mess around with their spec settings though which is fine but it’s really not much effort if you’d rather be playing a game

it really is, the conflict within noontide and their relationship with their own happiness and past is so neat and i love the way it ties back into the themes of roadside picnic and i figured it would since there seems to be a lot more direct references to it. While it feels nostalgia baity sometimes, i genuinely think it’s done with good intentions instead of “remember this?” and it offers up closure on some characters we haven’t seen since their first appearances. It just seems like a love letter for both fans of the games and the source material.

Your save is still corrupted because it include old files from files that are pre-update. So if you want the best experience. In a sense yeah, if you wann start again. In single player game where scripts and code are saved for every playthrough. There's only usually one way to fix that. To restart the game before any code of such quest is processed. All file saves with old codes and scripts will probably not work. But maybe, try it out and see if it works, if it doesn't the save file is old and basically 'corrupt'

Okay i might as well say this to people wondering.. if you are wondering if your broken save will suddenly fix from this update. No it won't. Save files work on code and scripts before the game update. Especially in a single player game where it doesn't work on servers. The causes in your save file is basically corrupt on there is literally nothing devs can do at that point. You have to start the game before the save doesnt include outdated code and script. So for most people. It will be a start new game. But for some people it will be a carry on in a buggy game.

They're rare. Depends on your game progression. If you can glitch into Pripiyat, you can find one in the Olympus (?) Theater. Scar also carries a unique one that was developed by Clear Sky, it holds 99 shots without reloading, does more dmg than the standard but has no scope. You can get it from him at the very end of the game if you pick an ending that's not Spark.

Only the Gauss Rifle can kill them in one shot. The ones at the end of the game with their weird auras can tank 4 Gauss to the body.

Also much like in the originals, headshots are meant to insta kill.

yeah very end ones arent too hard if you just give up on the gauss and get a few headshots, the only part that was ever difficult was the granite squad
