Release minimum viable product, patch it up, and hope people aren't mad enough to leave in the mean time.

It's just the way of the industry now and to try and go against it means years of extra dev with no guarantee of making all that work back as profit, I'm not slagging them off for doing it, it's just how it is.

I will say on xbox it's definitely noticeable. But I'm guessing you are on pc so I don't know. The game definitely has a lot of things that need optimising. for one I wish there was an option to have less trees, but there will be a mod for that at some point

The only opimization issues I'm having is random fps drops to 20-18 frames (literally can be anywhere from Zalisyya, the sphere, or in the middle of some woods, just completely random) and having foliage and trees disappear when in view of them. That last one might be a bit intentional though

I'd read the patch notes, but if it's still bugg3d for you and they've said its fixed. It may be because you are already at a certain point where it's soft locked and it's just gonna be that way until you restart or load back before you reach that quest.

Nothing gets me off harder than a broken game after "fixing" what they said was broken. It's all broke. Half-ass work is what I see here. A Minor Incident, door to malachite is locked so I can't get in building to talk to doctor. Might go back to playing GAMMA or something.

my issue with Ukrainian is that the lip syncing is incorrect for the cutscenes. in the original trailer the lip syncing was great, but for some reason now the lip sync is for English even with Ukrainian language

load a save before you ever examined it, as the pin says, apparently examining it is what causes the bug and if you save the game after looking at it, your just screwed, as it won't go away. Only fix is to never choose to examine the weird bolt. if you DID look at it, load ANY earlier savewhere you did you not examine it, and continue from there and don't look at it again

Oh if your on console i'd not expect much of anything mod wise, as the good mods need custom coding, and MS/Sony won't allow that to run on the console for security reasons, so consoles mods are super barebones at best. Most games just don't support them period as its not worth it for the dev to waste their time as its a very closed ecosystem with strict limits. Sony and MS is to blame here not the game dev.

I switch armor suits way more than I do guns, so if anything the armors should be cheaper of the 2 to upgrade imo. a Scoped Ak74 can last you most of the game, till you get the Dnipro which is basically a ak74 with higher base penetration and superceeds the orignal ak74. Its still real stupid that penetrationvalue is set by the gun and not the ammo used. also dumb how ap ammo is +30% penetration as for guns with less than 3.1 base penetration that +30% essentally does nothing. as it has to hit the next solid number to do a damn thing

i fixed the issue. i threw a grenade somewhat nearby, and he ran out of hte door frame. now i can complete the zalyssya mission. it needed a few attempts, cause if they get hurt by hte grenade, they become hostile.

The easiest fix would be to just allow the player to push npc's out of the way, most open world games have this where if you push up against a friendly or neutral npc they will move out of your way. Sadly Stalker 2 lacks this feature.

As far as the scripted Swamps emission, I didn't actually meet any Chimera there. The emission started rolling in right when I got to the CS base so I immediately dived into Faust's cum fort basement. If there was a chimera the emission got it

It's still not entirely clear to me what structures gurantee protection from an emission. I think it's anything that is completely enclosed, and as long as you're inside you're 100% safe even if you open the door and have a look see. Also, seems like there are no anabotics in this game unfortunately.

If you're not holding an item and you try to turn on your flashlight, the player will equip a gun. So you have to access the weapon wheel again to turn on the flashlight. Same thing for turning it off.
