use ground pours for you pcb

#

and I think that sd card is wired wrong

#

should be like this

#

still would not hurt to do them on all of the layers

#

and I would recommend stitching them together

#

you can always refill the zones by pressing b

elfin gyro
#

use the via stiching plugin

#

?

idk how it looks on the backside, but I would make sure these ground islands have proper way to the ground plane.

#

can you send a picture of the backside?

#

look, the same spots dont have way to the ground from either side, or atleast they have really long ground path. when there is copper pours like this isolated from grounplane, they can act like antennas and amplify interference. You should always strive to keep ground plane unified, without leaving isolated islands

#

shifts traces around in away that atleast in the backside of the board, there wouldnt be any island and the ground plane would be unified

#

upperside ground island should be fine aslong as the vias connected to the backside copper pour are in unified ground plane

#

you have how many layers?

#

okay, then it is probably fine, I assumed you had only two layer board setup

#

ground plane in the middle is good, then ground has unified copper pour

#

yea probably lol

#

no, im not

#

for once

#

xD

#

its better than one I guess

#

four layer board ofc

charred beacon
#

well, no reason not to go with the 4L one

#

well, you did just post a screenshot of it

#

yeah, but i just scrolled up and read it

#

doesn't seem too bad

4 layers

#

in fact, just default to 4L

dim berry
#

yea 4L is for sure better

charred beacon
#

there's just no reason not to except if you're making a big board

#

i.e. keyboard sized

#

or making a lot of them

I dont atleast catch any problems with it. I think its most likely fine
