It's not even a mothership, both are player's Core unit
The motherships are properly humongous, able to produce and dock multiple of those ships

IDK how to class them, for me it's "Commander Ship"
But they are the main unit, have super weapons on board, air hangar capacity , middle and short range secondary weaponry
