Psion mind control

Does any one know what's the ability of convert unit after use psion effect?

For example, I'm confederation players convert eligators. The convert eligators like my opponent abilities?
From my experience it looks very weak.

The Mind Control, which you steal Units from Enemy Commander

They Self-Destruct upon duration expired, deny their use from either you or enemy
(never tried to use Psion since i can only get fewer Red Hero BP)
