Help improve my UI pls

Hi please can I get some advice on how to improve the UI of my app

I don't have any mayor issues with the UI. It's okay. Perhaps make the "add homework" portion a modal so it only appears when the user wants to do so. Other than that, nothing else really.

you can add calendar to view the homeworks for specific date and also add checkmark or similar thing to the assignments already completed in the dashboard
