How to refresh directory view in pycharm

Hey, how do I refresh the directory part of pycharm without restarting it. For example how to see a new folder I created from outside of pycharm while it was opened

Right click project dir and click reload from disk

yeah it doesn't work for me. Had this issue for quite a while. There is supposed to be a setting in general but I might be blind but I don't see it
