It's always two sets of 3 daily event quests every 12hrs (or one set every 24 if you don't that complete in a timely manner).
And it appears to be working even tho it's being check marked.

The issue, besides the graphical check, I've seen is it's doing 3 daily quests in a row - Place 5 warriors, Kill 2 Support Units, and Kill 3 Epic units (though the order changes) - every 12 hours.

No, it's not - it's one daily quest, not a set of 3 - this was not occurring the previous time this event happened.

If I do them and claim them, i'm not actually getting rewards. The 100 gold is not giving me 100 gold etc. Only time I got the rewards was the first set I did. This is just an annoyance now

That's strange, I get all rewards, gold and the sets of scrolls. It shows the greyed out, already checked icon, but when the quest is done, I can redeem, get the confirmation screen and saw the coins and scrolls being added.
