Hello !
I've been seeing many bots during my offline campaign sessions for several days. They often appear 5 minutes after starting the game. I did tests, the bot doesn't care about the red markers, but it still seems to want to respect the captain's markers.
The bot is not present on maps with loyalty chests (include boss), and on unknown maps. Only for bronze, silver and gold chests.

Can you fix it ?

Each Loyalty chest has a limit per campaign event. Loyalty Token, Loyalty Gold, and Loyalty Scroll are 65. Loyalty Skin is 130. Loyalty Boss is 190. Loyalty Super Boss is 30. After opening that amount of a Loyalty chest, any additional reward chests of that type are replaced with a regular Gold chest.

Botters (the people that operate a swarm of bots) are incentivized to program their bots to place in regular battles to build up loyalty, but avoid loyalty battles until the bot is at full 100 loyalty to get the most rewards. At that point, the bot might move to building loyalty with another captain and might only place when it detects you are on a loyalty chest. I’m surprised to hear they are dodging “Unknown” rewards, because those can be seen on mobile, so I’d expect bots to ask for that info by pretending to be in mobile mode.

Regular human players also have the same incentives to dodge Loyalty chests until higher loyalty, so that alone is not necessarily an indicator of a bot. A bigger tell is that a botter likely created a lot of bots at the same time, and they often all utilize similar sets of free campaign or Twitch drops skins. (I've avoided using some skins after noticing them being used by possible bots.) Also bots tend to simplistically place in a cascading blob of units around the captain unit. So you can try asking players to place away from your captain unit and compare what suspected bots do.

Other captains have reported that banning a few bot accounts can sometimes gets other bots to leave as well. Since a botter can control many bots, if they see a few of their bots get banned, they might decide to remove you from their list of captains used for all bots rather than risk the lost time of having other bots being banned later.

Thank you for taking the time to listen to my TEDx Talk.

To @azure chasm's point:

Historcially Captain.tv has done a few mass banwaves on bots, but it is a classic cat-and-mouse game.

In the short term, your best bet is to ban suspected bots on Stream Raiders, because it does indeed suck that bots just sac you once you hit any Loyalty chest.

This is the moderation/ban link.

Last hour i saw 5 archers placing in a row in last seconds of timer, same name, same skin.
I asked Red how possible to place 5, i needed 3 weeks for 300 unlock scrolls for 2nd rogue - i would be happy if i could place (and level up faster) several units at the same time, so this act is unfair.
But unfair also is that captns have a list which captn is running which chest.
Long ago on reddick someone had the idea of this and i thought ctv would never do that because captns always complain mass of new player on high chests, leaving on small, so having problems with scaling.
surprised about, i only make a shot at 2nd captn.
Unfair, because i must choose a captn, log in & load battlefield, click on skulls now (former easier 1 was bronze, 6 was high chest!!) and i often forget, angry about myself because wasting a limited chest when in low loyalty and only 1 chest reward.
With that list or if it would added on placement slot i would pass a high chest.
we all should have the same tools and chances
