📡 New Event: Code: R.A.I.D.! 🕵🏻‍♀️

• The Camouflage and his army of super reptiles have installed mind-control devices in every city of Streamlandia! Direct confrontation is doomed to fail. The only way to stop these villains is by deploying special agents. This is a mission for spies! Code: R.A.I.D. has been enacted!
• Key Targets: Battles in Code: R.A.I.D. are not to be won by power, but by cunning. In every battle some enemies will be marked with a sight as key targets. Those are key enemies of interest and, by taking all of them out, the whole battle is won.
• Global Quest: Every defeated Key Target by every player counts towards a global quest counter. By defeating many of them, all players unlock special Code: R.A.I.D. skins!
• Mind-Control Devices: These devices appear in some maps. They use hypnotic rays to control the minds of player units. Mind-controlled units switch sides and try to protect the Key Targets!

  • We also made an extensive overhaul to the loading code in many screens.

• From prehistoric times, Primordia Campaign makes a comeback!
• Raiders have found isolated lands, full of ancient dangers. Some eggs and enemies could become a problem... or not!
• Prehistoric eggs can hatch ally creatures if reached soon, or enemies if you arrive too late.
• The Grazing Bronto heals ally units and buffs enemies if killed.
• Terrain Vents will cause different effects on units. Some damage units when destroyed.
• New awesome dino and cavepeople skins to collect. Get them all!

Other notes:

• We implemented a system to grant alternative rewards in any case viewers or captains earn a skin they already had.

⚔️ Versus Duel Mode is now available for everyone forever! ⚔️

• Use Discord or any other channel to sync with another Captain, set a date, type each other's account name and get ready to battle!
• Duel mode rewards are just bragging rights.
• Balance has been adjusted for the Flying Rogues. Slightly buffed ROGUE’S EVASION skill. It now reactivates 0.6s faster (gains +50% resistance vs ALL after making an attack and starts moving again).
• Balance has been adjusted for the Paladins. Removed immunity to MAIM.
• Balance has been adjusted for the Fairy. Slightly adjusted the radius of her priorities. She should now look for hurt allies at a wider range.

Bugs Fixed:

• The results screen now properly displays that Duels mode gives no special rewards.

Other notes:

• The ongoing Mini-thon has been extended to Saturday 24 and now the in game information also reflects this.

⚔️ Versus Arena is back! ⚔️

• Previously known as Versus Challenger series (classic), the matchmaking mode is back for everyone to compete and earn Bones that can be spend in the Store.
  • Bones currency cap has been increased to 5000 units.
• Added an dropdown to the Duel screen to let captains choose their power levels before starting the battle.
  • If captains chose different power levels, a number closest to the lower power level will be used for both.
• Captain Spells now also have a generic version for Versus modes, just as units do.
• To better help captains in their strategies, now "Do not place" markers are enforced to viewers.
  • We don't want to take away all the pawer from viewers to decide how to play, but we noticed that some times a single unit out of place could throw down a whole strategy. We hope this change helps prevent that.

  • Gae Bolg Lancer specialization: Instantly kills their their next enemy after 2 eliminations.
  • Ranged Lancer specialization: attacks at range.
  • Sky Lancer specialization: uses anti-air tactics and can ground flying units.

• Fixed some bugs where graphics from one battle or game mode could be stuck in the battleground when switching to a new battle or mode.

Stream Raiders - New Patch

The Spy joins the battle! 🕵️‍♀️

• A fast unit that Disrupts enemies by sabotaging their equipment.
  • Becomes untargetable for 45 seconds!
  • Sabotages enemies (applies a debuff)
  • After level 15, it can Extort enemies, turning them to the Spy's side!
  • In Versus modes (Arena or Duel) it can be placed on the enemy zone (spot them before it's too late!).
  • Specializations:
    • Master Spy: can empower extorted units.
    • Poisoner: poisons enemies.
    • Saboteur: can sabotage even more enemies and from a longer range.
  • Additional notes:
    • Captain Spies’ Undercover ability starts active, so Captains can easily place Spies in their enemies’ zones.
      Spies have different abilities in normal game modes and in Versus.
    • Saints’ aura removes Extort, because it’s a Charm debuff.

This unit is going to be launched in 2 stages:
Pre-Release

• Today! Scrolls can be acquired through the Pre-Release Quest. Quest lasts until the Arena event starts.

Release

• Tomorrow!
• Spy Scrolls will be added to all Versus Chests.
• Spy Scrolls will be added to all Arena Quests.

Other Changes

• Dark Heart Battle Pass progress tokens were added to the store. These will be renewed every event.
• Next 6 Arena events were scheduled.
• Fix: before the release of the Showdown feature, Flagbearers used to gain an attack ability under certain conditions, this feature was implemented again.
• Small fix: description texts in Versus Flying Rogues and Versus Vampires were fixed.

Now when you challenge a Captain to a duel, one of you will randomly be chosen to be the Host and the other one will be the Rival.
Host chooses the map and rules! Be aware that some rules only work on Duel maps.

Duel Rule Types:

• Rival / Host : These rules apply to one team. You can choose both rival and host versions of rules to make a balanced duel or pick different rules to make asymmetrical chaos!
• Balancing : These rules apply to both the Host and Rivals and impact the overall game balance.
• Special : These rules function kind of like new game modes to add a lot of variety to a duel!

  • An armored monster that splits into smaller bits after receiving damage and their specializations:
    • Biohazard specialization: Infects their enemies, poisoning them and spawning a new blob when they die.
    • Goopy specialization: Covers their enemies in goo, hampering their movement and attacks.
    • Symbiotic specialization: When the blob or any of their split parts die, they heal and buff ally units.

🎃 Dungeons 16: Halloween 🎃

• These patch notes are cursed.
• All maps are Halloween maps and enemies.
• New Halloween boons. They mostly care about Undead and Monster enemies and allies.
• New Halloween Chest with 3 new Halloween 2023 skins.
• Mad Minion mechanic: some boons curse units, making them spawn Ghosts, Zombies or other types of monsters in a Maddened state. Mad units attack both allies and enemies alike. Some boons allow units to turn Mad units into allies.
• Hell Mode starting at Floor 30. In this Dungeons Captains lose a boon every two floors instead of every floor.
• Captains who reach Floor 30 get a new Jerry skin. Players don’t get the skin for free but can purchase it in the Store. After Dungeons 16 ends, that skin will be available for everyone to purchase.

🆚 Versus Bones and Nightmare Skin Lines

• We removed the Bones and Nightmare chests.
• Replaced them with direct purchases of all those skins. The skins will be available for 5 days and rotate out. All Bone and Nightmare skins will be available in the Store.

📡 New Event: Code: R.A.I.D.! 🕵🏻‍♀️

• The Camouflage and his army of super reptiles have installed mind-control devices in every city of Streamlandia! Direct confrontation is doomed to fail. The only way to stop these villains is by deploying special agents. This is a mission for spies! Code: R.A.I.D. has been enacted!
• Key Targets: Battles in Code: R.A.I.D. are not to be won by power, but by cunning. In every battle some enemies will be marked with a sight as key targets. Those are key enemies of interest and, by taking all of them out, the whole battle is won.
• Mind-Control Devices: These devices appear in some maps. They use hypnotic rays to control the minds of player units. Mind-controlled units switch sides and try to protect the Key Targets!

• Sword of Ruin was reworked/nerfed to now use tier fixed damage, only chain twice, affect a single target per shock and has a cooldown of 3s.
