Looks :P
youre overpaying 200$ then
circle panels not my favorite AIOs too
youre still paying 200$ for nothing

Yeah @hoary lodge thatās a reallllllly bad move
Hey man, if I could have a vibrant GIF playing on a AIO that looks good and performs well, especially the gif and good looking part, u got me sold, the price doesn't bother me
you can get that for 200$ less
the one you recommended kinda looked ugly imo no offense
You can get that for $200 less
I promise
If youāre gonna overspend
Buy me a new gpu while youāre at it
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK4GSYSB?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1 even better resolution
I'm sorry guys, but this AIO looks cool as hell, no other AIO will change my mind
i didnt evne copy the link
your complete waste of 200$
enjoy it
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/jrnXsY/darkrock-f120-120-mm-fans-3-pack-dr-fan-f120-wt-x3 they're not reversed, sadly
if there aren't any I can buy the lian li reversed ones no prob
and it performs terribly
hmmm, enlighten me with some that perform better but look the same
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 9070 XT, Lian Li Vector V100 ATX Mid Tower
I got an even better waste of money for ya https://a.co/d/i1YTMzu
Tryx at least has slightly better performance than other top models and innovated something with their wrap around screens rather than just being a rog tax.
Why not
It's the best performing, best looking, best specced aio for those who have money to burn
Wouldn't the thicc artic rads be higher performance?
Call me strange, but those types of AIOs don't rlly catch my eyes
MONSTA rads
What is the deal from walmart?
Is it just because it is a special branded card?
Forgot to mention you can also get a RM1000e PSU with that bundle for $25 more
@fringe olive it was $499 when I posted
@thin bolt
Hold
Holding
Holder
thoughts anyone
eh
12gb gpu
not great
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gqVG3R could get this for double the storage and a better gpu, and much better ram
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Radeon RX 9070, Corsair FRAME 4000D RS ARGB ATX Mid Tower
I'd just get a 5070 prebuilt instead if you can't find a real 9070 or 9070xt in your price range.
also that looks sketch, doesnt list the vast majority of the specific specs
Is that ram meant to be $530 or did the price just change?
530 for the ram and the ssd

it uses these 2 bundles
That makes more sense.
CPU Motherboard Memory Combo - AMD 100-100001973WOF Bundle with GIGABYTE X870 GAMING X WIFI7 and V-color TMXSAO1660826KKK https://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails?ItemList=Combo.4853258&Source=socialshare&utm_campaign=snc-typereplacer-_-sr-_-combo.4853258-_-datereplacer
This is a crazy deal no?
Never mind out of stock already lol
My soul hurts seeing this. I had to pay $910 for mine because I am in MX....
@delicate lake
can u return

I forgot youāre from Delaware
Delaware gang

Middle of nowhere
Tax free and business friendly state at least
Have it shipped to me, Iāll ship it to you, Iām in PA
Why canāt they ship to Delaware?
What is a delaware
I think it is a song sung by Perry Como
Iāll do you one better: WHY is a Delaware?
Where is a Delaware?
Up and to the right
Idk I seen it couple of times on woot lately
Maybe they don't like tax free states?
I seen someone having same problem in Oregon too
At least itās not New Jersey
True
Yeah, thanks for the 29.5% APR on my credit cards
Issue is Mexican market. It is what it is, I got mine 25% cheaper than what Amazon and other local vendors wanted for it.
Order it to your us address
Sold out now. I think I would have gotten one and side graded from a 7900xtx if I could get the nicest model like that for $650. Might have even made a little money on the deal.
I doubt you use rt but if you do it would actually be an upgrade believe it or not
I'd probably use it in cyberpunk. The native fsr 4 support with fp8 would be good too.
@cursive sage include original box? AOC monitor
well, it is refurbished but i would think so
this is a little bit more than a third of the price it's selling for normally
MSI refurbished by Starpartner include originally box and sealed
If your case can take 140s then get 140s
You can run them at lower rpm or move more air at the same rpm
when comparing a good 120 vs good 140
bet
Noo I missed the 1440p monitor š
Woops didnāt see the subscription thing
Is this a good deal? https://computers.woot.com/offers/belkin-connect-usb-c-6-in-1-core-gan-dock-1
For a MacBook user this seems insanely good price and performance
Overall seems nice. Would be cool if the other usb ports were > 7.5W
Yeah she doesnāt really need power from most ports since itāll be like wireless usb dongles or flash drives.
what are some other things to bling up my pc besides a RGB GPU holder from ASUS & lian li RGB PSU power strips
RGB fans if thatās what youāre going for. Thereās also RGB diffused strips / pipes you can put in your pc.
mb, forgot to mention I got RGB fans alr, but RGB pipes? oooo
Not really a Deal, but Newegg still has the Lightning in stock. MSI's online store and BestBuy sold out already. https://www.newegg.com/msi-rtx-5090-32g-lightning-z-geforce-rtx-5090-32gb-graphics/p/N82E16814137999
Itās like strips but rigid and diffused, I think lian li makes em
5090 for 5090
im dead
the newegg weekend doorbuster 9850x3d how much yalll think its gonna discount
I never understood the 1 stick of RAM Microcenter bundles. All of the testing I've seen shows decreased performance when running a single stick of DDR5. Some of the game benchmarks show about 20% lower FPS with a single stick vs two sticks of the same RAM capacity. So you are negating much of the performance benefit the X3D CPU gives you. #tech-deals message
Itās mostly about pricing Iād assume. Those are the budget options and an additional stick is basically the price of the whole bundle
Even more so with AI eating all the ram
You can get the 7600x3d bundle, swap the ram to the 2x16 crucial and it comes out to $470.
the performance hit isn't as bad as it is with ddr4. It's not ideal but ram is crazy expensive rn. 8gb sticks of ddr5 also SUCK so having 1x16 is honestly probably preferable to 2x8
It's still worse than 2x8, but 1x16 is better for ease of upgrading.
You might want to read that again. Microcenter said the 32GB RAM upgrade is only for bundles that already have 32GB of RAM included. "Upgrade to Corsair RGB 32GB for $50 More. Only available with 32GB 3-in-1 combos"
20% isn't bad?
Is it really 20%?
Yes its 20% in many games according to multiple benchmarks that I've seen.
Go to the page with the bundle lists, click on build with it, click on change on the ram part. Should apply the correct pricing and put the crucial kit at $200 without changing the combo price of the CPU or board.
Worked last night for me.
And crucial isn't the ram upgrade they have, it's the default cheap one in the higher end bundles with 32gb.
The "Build with It" doesn't show up as an option for the 7500X3D Bundle at any of the three microcenter locations within 2 hours of me.
76
I was under the impression ddr5 saw 10-15% hit when gaming from single channel while ddr4 saw 20-30% but I don't recall where I saw those numbers
It'll depend a lot on specific games used. And that's always an up to. If you're fully GPU limited anyway it could make no difference.
Most of what I've seen is single channel DDR5 is a 15-20% performance hit at 1080p and 1440. People looking for the lowest priced bundle aren't likely to be playing at 4K and GPU limited with their 5090 and high refresh OLED.
I understand the 4k part but why would them having a halo tier GPU make them more likely to be GPU limited?
The realistic situation of it not mattering is entry level 1440 with a mainstream to midrange GPU.
That's my point, they won't be GPU limited
Or a couch gamer on a 4k TV who doesn't care about >60 anyway.
I'm not saying getting a suboptimal ram situation is good. I would say it's not always going to affect everyone by some set amount.
plus x3d mitigating it even further
since it is single channel i guess you could cope more by increasing frequency and tightening timings lmao
You can't go much past 6000 without having to change the fclk ratio down.
The tests I saw comparing single stick vs dual stick of the same capacity were on X3D CPUs. They saw a 15-20% reduction in FPS in many games at 1080p and 1440p.
You can only limit the RAM so much before even an X3D CPU shows a drop in performance.
true
2x8 vs 1x16? Do you have a link?
I didn't bookmark it but I'll search for it later tonight. It was 1x32 vs 2x16. The 2x8 might be awful because at least some of the 8GB DDR5 sticks have low bandwidth and some other issues.
There were also some extreme outliers that had a larger than 20% difference.
That seems like an odd test. Who would actually buy a 1x32?
There are cases for 2x8 sucking, each stick only has a 1x32bit bus instead of 2x32 bit like a 16gb+ stick, and 4x8 you can run into the 2dpc frequency problems. That seems more realistic though and something a person on a budget might actually end up deciding between.
2x8 vs 1x16 they are both getting kneecapped in different ways.
I think they did 1x32 just as an equal comparison because the 8GB sticks have bandwidth issues. So it was the most equal test you can do to eliminate the other factors.
I can do a 2x16 and 1x32 DDR5 6000 CAS 30 test here with the RAM I currently have.
2x8 and 1x16 both have half the max theoretical bandwidth. 2x32bit for each. 2x16 would have full bandwidth and 1x32 would have half but it's dual rank so you get a small boost from that.
2x16 vs 1x32 it's obvious what'll happen. 2x16 is running like intended and 1x32 is hopping on one leg. That's not a very interesting test imo.
Going back to the original point the 1x16 in the bundle hinders the gaming performance vs the 2x16 kits that microcenter offers in slightly more expensive bundles. Microcenter doesn't offer a 2x16 bundle upgrade for a reasonable price for that 7500X3D bundle. Its $225 at Microcenter for another 16GB stick of the same RAM. So I don't think its worth buying the 1x16 bundle. You are better off saving some more money and getting a 2x16 bundle because some of the 2x16 bundles cost less than what microcenter charges to add another 16GB stick of the same RAM.
For $50 more than adding the second 16GB stick, you can get the 7800X3D bundle with a better motherboard.
gonna try and get a 9850x3d with the doorbuster deal tmrw, I also need a mobo though, any idea if the discount will apply to their bundles? or should I get it separately
You can swap it out on the 7600x3d one.
You just have to do it manually.
That's another one of the gen 4 b850s but that's not that big of a deal and the b850 tuf plus is +$30 for an upgrade.
True, however you can't swap it out with the 7500X3D bundle that was posted. That makes it less of a deal.
The 7500X3D bundle has the MSI B850M-VC Pro WiFi so the standard B650E-E TUF Gaming WiFi is a significant upgrade.
It was the 7500X3D bundle that was posted as a deal originally and its that bundle that I had concerns about it being a deal.
I agree that one wasn't very compelling.
The monitor I have in my pcpp list(in bio) has worked fantastic for me for being so cheap. Even has decent hdr
I have a 1440p 27ā oled
But I do a ton of coding and homework
I also donāt think I could fit two monitors on my desk
It would probably be another impulse buy
Thanks for the ping @cursive sage ahh I'm super tempted but I think Imma wait for one with adjustable stand actually. Really hoping one from AOC like 165 hz ips can go down to $120-$130 ish š
5080 and 5070ti restock on woot??
and 5060 and 5070
i can get a 5080 inspire for 1.3k
but its the new msrp price š
5080 for 1.3k is just wasting all your money
and the 5070ti is over 900$... also a waste
"a worse thing doesnt make a bad thing any better"
š
Ahh I'm waiting out for a big brand like lg/msi/aoc I'm worried about customer service of brands outside the big brands š Also I really do want the height adjustment, ugh apparently lg has a coupon for 139$ LG 27GS75Q-B but not showing for me š¢
Thatās my monitor
Had no issue with customer service so far
Asked them about the hdr, got a response a few hours later
š«”
very tempting bundles
those are some uh
interesting free additions
am4 mobo with ddr5 ram š
it's not first time neweg doing it
I gonna sell them to overseas
lmao free money
I'm going to be rich soon
after selling 128gb rams
when is doorbuster sale gonna be revealed for the 25th?
9850x3d + good board + 128gb ram + 4tb ssd + an air duster
basically 2600$ value
yeah bought only 1 on these tho . 9850x3d isn't my taste
"only one"
š
thank you for pointing out
oh actually can i ask you for help with smth
i need to see how much my systems will fetch
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/KRbrZc im gonna sell this, how much would it sell for? keeping keyboard/mouse/headset
also the monitors ill sell seperately, how much for them?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 9070 XT, Thermaltake View 380 XL TG ARGB ATX Mid Tower
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/v3RGXf and also this pc
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, GeForce RTX 3060 Ti, Zalman P10 MicroATX Mini Tower
pictures of them if that changes anything, i did go pretty heavy on looks for the main one
im HOPING for ~2k for the main pc, 700 for monitors, 650 for second pc
yeah limit is 2
I mean knowing actual HDR quality isnt smth CS would know. They'd only know the BS marketing, stuff like those "HDR" ips/va displays lol. Typically you'd want a decent reviewer for that like Monitor Unboxed or RTINGs
I just asked how to turn it on
A little confusing out the box
I'm not exppert in US market but yeah roughly 1.7k-2k for main one can sell (depends of marketplace on your area) . second one I roughly think it's like 500-700 range
dont we live in the same state š
Delaware gang
I think you can get like 450-500$ from oled and 100 -120 for each others ?
100-120 each or total? im guessing each
each
lol . I mean you kinda may need go little under what you expected because marketplace is full of lowballers
fine with me
I'd guess probably 120 for the 1440p LG, 85 for the 1080p Samsung, 400 for the dell oled
400????
no way
the dell is availble new rn for 500
its almost new
and there are (lower hz) oleds new for under 400
it went down š
thought same but it's 360hz so I think its worth 450
maybe if the $500 sale ends
yeah I recently bought 240hz oled for 350$ from amazon tho . but it's not all time sales
which one?
no I have G9 oled as well
Oh yeah the price on this is crazy
I think earlier it was 380 and went down to 360
I thought that CPU was always $199.99, its just never in stock. The discount price is a fake discount since its been $199.99 for months. #tech-deals message
Why downvoting that? I know the market sucks currently but $180 is like 25% off the going rate for a decent 2tb.
p5 plus has a weird controller that performs worse than comparable drives that use e18, also has a weird quirk of misreporting temperature by a lot lol
Stickers to indicate blemishes is cool
Not sure how that works if they're selling multiple tho
@gilded zodiac is it possible to get Newegg to ship refurbished hardware outside of the US, for example Mexico.
@foggy coral Can we do that?
checking
I personally really liked buying the refurb AM5 cpus when I was in the US but now that I am based in MX for a while, I currently don't have access to those refurb parts
Search Newegg.com for refurbished. Get fast shipping and top-rated customer service.
Depends... unfortunately, we ship only the refurb accessories and fans of CPUs, not the refurb CPUs themselves
Oh, are the refurb cpus from a separate vendor and Newegg is just a POS for them?
The link I sent you will include both us as the shipper and other Marketplace sellers as alternative shippers
Sold & shipped by Newegg: https://www.newegg.com/global/mx-en/p/pl?d=refurbished&N=8000
Search Newegg.com for refurbished. Get fast shipping and top-rated customer service.
take this for example
I bought 1 when i was in alaska
but it does not ship to mx it seems
Yeah, this one is not available within our Mexico portal.
Sales rate & demand. Our Product Teams allow if they know if people will actually buy it and how often
Isn't it just a matter of adding the additional import cost upon the customer and using a courier that ships international? Because it isn't saving Newegg money to not have that option for the cunsumer.
Yes, but also they care about the demand, which is how many customers in Mexico would want to buy a refreshed CPU.
I can ask if they can temporarily open it in the portal. It's just a request, not a guarantee.
I appreciate that. I will submit a request when I am able to order.
allat just for them to not put an exhaust fan bro..
you can get a brand new car for that cash
wait its using a normal trx50 mobo with a pro series????
https://www.newegg.com/p/1VK-01UA-01P82?Item=9SIAK3PKCJ6419 jeez that seller is overpriced
also on a terrible psu
š
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Qp9XLy could get better stuff for 2000$ less lmao
Part List - Intel Core Ultra 9 285K, GeForce RTX 5070 Ti, Montech AIR 903 MAX ATX Mid Tower
https://www.techforless.com/products/Dell/RAM_-_Server_Workstation/SNPHVY68C/128G.html whoevers making a ddr4 server
youre welcome
nvm
I know this channel isnāt for selling stuff. But can i post my build to get a valuation to sell on FB Marketplace or something? Iāve spent the past two years building/upgrading this system just for it to only be used once or twice a week to pay bills online, lol. Thinking of buying a descent laptop instead. I was gonna get back into PC gaming but it just hasnāt panned out.
yeah valuations are chill just don't post the ebay/fbm listing
^
Cool, Thx! Here it is:
Box only, minus the SATA SSD and HDD and peripherals. May keep the 2tb nvme and swap in a 1tb i have depending on what laptop i get.
Also, thereās 8 noctua fans, now. The MSI RGB fans are gone

Has anybody here used an SSD cooler? I need one for my ud90 but not sure which one to get https://pcpartpicker.com/list/W8F99K

Might also switch to an aio due to my cpu
I have a plain lil heatsink model on my sn850. It's more a help during sustained writes, rather than simple ssd reads
The problem is that Mine idles at 60C
Gets up to 80C under regular load
From startup it's 50c on a cold machine
Oh I see, deffo try some heatsink on it for sure. A lil airflow afterwards is even better
I have the default mobo heatsink. But it's not doing nearly enough
No room for airflow due to case layout
Yea mobo heatsinks are more like big heat spreader & stuff
Might flip the CPU cooler so it's pointing up and giving a little airflow to the sdd
buy a 3rd party heatsink
and maybe invest in more/better fans
@warm dagger Theres a whole line of gigabyte monitors that come with RE9
its not only that one
Damn, i think the ips is the best deal tho
$44 hall effect 60%

This keyboard has a bad pcb
tldr
it sucks
The problem(s) with cheap chinesium keyboards. Author: unknownghoul_ (discordapp.com/users/714113214257823779) Created: August 1, 2025 Last updated: December 3, 2025 Context & Scope This document focuses on ultra-low-cost mechanical keyboards produced by OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) ...
here you go btw
Akko/Monsgeek/VPSO
These are all confirmed to be using the same PCB.
They have a reported latency of almost 30ms, which is insanely high, and higher than even the cheapest mechanical boards
If talking about Akkoās v4/YOTD/Santorini: "Roar Mode" enables 8k but only for wasd, and everything else is stuck at 125hz (aka the same as bluetooth), and if you're not in "Roar Mode" wasd is 1k, and everything else is 250hz (just checked and it appears the numbers haven't changed, and screenshot attached from eyejoker (https://eyejokerdb.com/benchmarks/keyboard).
On top of that, there's basically no updates, Akko support doesn't exactly have a shining reputation, they're missing features iirc (like SOCD)
Stuck with bad Outemu family HE switches that are rattly and leave you with a lack of options (<5) for aftermarket switches.
I have one and it does have socd/snaptap/whatever they call it
Personal experiences DO NOT EQUAL reliable data/evidence.
This is what we call an Anecdote in research. Anecdotes can be mildly useful if you're considering a specific item in tech, and you want to do a little more research on it for things you may want to expect for your own experience with the product. However, these reported personal experiences are not logical to use as a means of displaying research, evidence, or data when trying to make a factual point about said product, mainly used as a means to vaguely call a product good or bad. Reliable data and evidence comes from extensive reviews, controlled testing, and aggregated user feedback over time. When making an objective assessment, prioritize verifiable research over isolated personal accounts
People done research on these boards for a longgggggggg tme now
Ok so yes but also no. I have the exact model (fun60) and it has socd
They also advertise it
As for the latency (this is anecdotal) I haven't noticed any issues. I have the height set to 0.25mm which is far less than even a "speed" style mechanical switch
Kailh speed silvers are 1.1 +- 0.4mm and cherry speed silvers are 1.2mm
I'm assuming (and hoping) that's a typo on kailhs part and it's supposed to be +- 0.04mm
š
The fun60 pro literally has a web app/driver and socd so I don't know if the review is outdated or what
If windows lock is turning off the win key I'm pretty sure it has that
And auto calibration is included in the app iirc
Maybe the X is a "yes"?
I don't think it can be though, because it does not have a palm rest but does have angle adjustment and led
Howās this deal? $280 refurb 1440p OLED
Thatās pretty good
Any problems getting refurbished oleds?
Rtings test data for the fun60 pro
Obviously Bluetooth isn't great but the board comes with a 2.4g dongle so you'd always be using that or a wire
This 30ms claim honestly smells like BS.
They do lose a little brightness over time as they're used. Just depends how hard and long it was used for though
Assuming it has a warranty/return period I would say it's a great deal
Just check for burn in when you get it
The best way to check is those grey screens right
Oh it is one of them at least
Colors and grey
That's still pretty cheap though
280 is also a lot of money
Are you talking about the coupon
Yes the coupon
It was $280 earlier

Does the refurb oled still have warranty?
-# it also shouldāve been $270
Holy link
only 334 for qd oled
1440p
Yeah bro no need to send it again š
did you see it in tech deals lol
Yeah you can trim that link a lot lmao
is that not a good deal tho?
It's refurb which is a little sus for oled cause of the burn-in but if it has a good return policy it's alright
its from acer themselves with 2 year warranty
seller is acer thesmelves as you can see
too bad i spent 600 on 64gb of ddr5 so now i cant even afford it š
Tbh sell it and get 32gb then buy the monitor
Unless you actually need the 64gb for workstation stuff
yeah but i use it for ai etc
Ah
large languge models etc
Yeah if you're actually using it then fair enough
but youl never be able to guess how old i am lmao
i do things a 30 year old doesnt know
@chrome sail shorten your links
how
remove everything after the first set of numbers, where the question mark starts
why do they even put it then
oh that makes sense
does anyone know how to value a website?
accuratlely?
i want someones opinion on mine
built it for a buisness in turlock ca
i wanna know how much i could charge for stuff like this to other buisness with simaler quality
Idk how to value it but looks pretty clean
One criticism, this pops up a little early
And it sticks around even when you visit the schedule and quote pages
looks better on pc ngl

Not terrible. And some of his complaints I wouldnāt have to worry about much. And combined with this one being AMD vs his intel and time for updates, the biggest may be solved. Iāll have to dig deeper for more current info. That being said, Iām going to watch his videos on other laptops, now. Thanks for sharing!
just keep in mind how underpowered laptop gpus are to desktop gpus
its worse than a 5070 desktop, which is already meh
Yes. Im not expecting desktop performance.
Honestly not expecting to even use that much performance at all. Thats why im selling my desktop. Didnāt use it that much.

Dang nice deal
Would yall say 165 for a Kraken 360 a good deal? Sealed
assuming you mean elite 360 and not core, then definitely, I don't think there is another name brand with a custom lcd screen anywhere near that price
Indeed the elite
I'd probably just get a thermalright instead.
i mean if you're only looking at price to performance sure, but i dont know the budget or aesthetics or anything, so if the question is "is this a good deal" hard to say no
I'd still say no, aesthetics wise it's not much different from one of the thermalright aios with an LCD screen at around $70 new, and performance wise the kraken is going to be worse unless they updated the pump since it released
Brand name wise, well, NZXT is the company that tried to charge something like 200% interest on rentals
no\
you can get a brand new thermalright one for 50$
Yee I looked at sum other aios w a lcd screen
Thermalright grand vision is prolly my best choice
I donāt know how good of a laptop this is considering itās only got an iGpu

Good deal or not, Iām glad i bought mine now.

Hey, how good is this laptop?
Acer Aspire 5 15 15.6" Intel Core I5 1335U 8GB DDR5 SSD 512GB Win11 A515-58MT-57LW
I'm more aware of desktop PCs. Not so much on laptops though.
what will you be using the laptop for
yeah itll be fine
more than fine
in fact you could play minecraft on the side
if possible though, upgrade to 16gb of ram
How much is it?
The newer one with 16gb ram and a 1tb ssd is $530. https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1896715-REG/acer_a14_52m_72fh_aspire_14_ai_copilot.html
14" but that actually looks better with a 1920x1200 than 15.6 does.
thats pretty good
Better battery life and graphics too.
I'd really avoid 8gb ram on windows if possible
even if its just for school?
Yeah tbh. It'll work but trying to run more than one program at a time or even more than a handful of browser tabs will see slowdowns
If windows ARM works there's also this for $500

Iād say no
Yeah Iād rather buy a bestbuy refurbished for the same price
This, if for no other reason than easier access, if thereās issues.
Who downvoted the certs
@onyx brook L
There is a lot of mid in there but there are still gems in there
Like the comptia ai prompting is a cash grab. Honestly most of their stuff now is
Woot is third party
Bestbuy geek squad refurbished is a bit more trustworthy
But aws ccp and saa, az104, lots of gcp. rhcsa and rhce make it worth it
There is also pentest+ and network+
Lowk gonna buy this
Tech+ is a cash grab too but lots of gems still
Idk who mammoth is though

Helll you mean sadly VA
Mini Led is best on VA
the glaze For IPS is insane I'm NGL
idk if I've even seen IPS mini led
@earnest storm VA is actually good when it's mini LED btw
#tech-deals message
VA has better contrast than IPS for HDR which is the primary point of a mini led. Mini led isn't going to fix smearing though.
@delicate lake that's a sweet am4 deal
Downbinned 5600x3d I guess
Doesn't suffer the same way the 5500 does
Yeah they increased its l3 cache too
Which is why it has 96 mb
And not 80
Because the 5500 has 16
So they gave it another 16, like the 5600, and then the vcache block
Pretty cool
Oh the image literally shows this

I thought the 5500X3Ds were faulty 5700X3Ds
Oh maybe idk
Because I know the 5600X3Ds were chips that failed to meet 5800X3D specs, which is why they were so limited
Yeah, the frequencies on the 5800X3D pairs better with the 5600X3D and the 5700X3D has frequencies almost identical to the 5500X3D
Interesting
Yeah not really supposed to buy/sell here
@ashen rune no selling
If you want, go to fbmp
I think it is odd that the Ryzen 9600X is just stuck at $200 and occasionally gets the bonus gift. It makes me think that Newegg is trying to get rid of them.

$130 but with promos they'd drop to $110-115. pretty cinema
Last week got that asus b850 with 1tb ssd for 130$ in combo . After few hours they replaced listing with 512gb ssd instead
Dangg, I saw a B760 motherboard with a 1TB ssd for $140 not sure if itās still up though.
I saw them with 512gb only
oh maybe im trippin then
They sometimes changing listing eventually

Does he know
Well this one is refurb tbf
if it works and just needs a cleaning then its brand new in my book
I need to fill this empty space on my desk
Oleds do burn out though (even if it's uniform, you lose brightness over time)
Granted it's likely just a return and hasn't been used heavily
should I just get another 1440p 240hz then
my monitor holder desk shelf thingy has the perfect amount of space for another 27 inch
If there's a decent return policy (in case there's bad burn in) I'd go for the oled
aight
Any good, possibly tech deal?
It's ok. You can get the 256v version pretty cheap, $530 new at microcenter and best buy should price match that afaik. They also have the 226v version refurb for 400 on their eBay store. Unless you care about multi core for something those should just be better. It's still an aspire though so you're getting what you pay for, mediocre screen and lowest bidder plastic throughout.
adding onto this, most oleds also have very low pwm modulation frequency
so those with sensitive eyes can be negatively affected by it
like headaches, confusion and sometimes even seizures
127.88 refrub samsung 240hz oled
the checkout took 4 minutes to load, for it to come up as "sold out"
I find that so bs
ahhhh probably will avoid it then
it depends on the particular panel ofc but most of the times it's the case
This is interesting. I typically have pretty sensitive eyes (not like seizures but can notice low hz indoor lightning) but haven't had any issues with my oled
they're usually higher than the refresh rate of the screen itself
keyword usually
in particularly bad cases, there's stuff like 60hz oled that has pwm at 60hz too
did you purchase it
no i cant yet if im even going to
once my mobo return finally refunds me im gonna buy the geektech b450m so I can build and sell this pc
Hi all, I'm trying to upgrade my storage from just 1 TB, and best buy has some insane sales on NVMe's right now. I wanna get one now, since I don't have any idea how often sales like this happen, so I figured I'd come and ask the people who would know better
This is the 2TB, and the 4TB is only $599. Should I jump on one of these?
https://www.bestbuy.com/product/wd-black-sn850x-2tb-internal-ssd-pcie-gen-4-x4-nvme/JXJ62C6Y95/sku/6512128?sb_share_source=PDP&ref=app_pdp&loc=pd7p_page
if you have the money to, i see why not
What's it for? You can still get a pretty decent 2tb for about $250.
well the prices have been lower than that. if you don't necessarily need more storage I probably wouldn't worry about it. if you do actually need storage then that's a different story
"Everywhere"
Proceeds to show the shittiest possible low-end terribly reviewed SSDs possible.
With the exception of the Seagate, not a single one of the ones you showed is reliable, according to several dozen reviews. Each, for a couple.
And even that specific Seagate SSD sucks. They're cheap because they're made cheap.
Oh, and the SG is 2 TB.
I mean this isn't for the 4tb but
https://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/silicon-power-ud90-ssd-review
If you want something higher end a crucial 710 is cheaper than the sn850x.
dam... 4 tb ud90 is qlc
qlc for 4tb is sad
Other than maybe the g50 I'd expect they all are. The vp4300 lite used to be pretty good for hmb but has had revisions crappifying it too.
Qlc is honestly fine for a non OS drive
And yeah finding a non qlc 4tb m.2 is probably gonna be difficult
I'd also be fine using one for a games drive or similar if I was getting a good enough discount.
yeah g50 is tlc
"best buy has some insane sales"
Proceeds to link 4tb drive that has been "marked down" from $1700 to $600
š
i got a tlc dramless 3.0 drive for games and storage and it's honestly pretty nice
granted it's 1tb but still
the g50 has a decently large cache size but it is super slow once exhausted
fancy ssds aren't really necessary unless like you really need the sustained speeds
slower than sata
but the cache is very large which is good enough for basically everybody
i even boot off a dramless drive
it's.. been written a heck ton tho
last i checked it was already 80% on its life
after about 3 years of use
Dramless NVMe is aight because of HBM, as long as the drive is otherwise decent quality
Dramless sata however...
good hbm implementations have more or less killed the need for dram for the 99% of people
my boot drive is a micron 2400
it's qlc
hence the life decreasing somewhat quickly
speeds though? i have no issues
but the write life is definitely shorter than a tlc drive
I'm using sn850x but I paid about half that much a few years ago. And $100 for a second 2tb one. I've also used hmb boot drives with no issues or feeling like it's holding anything back, samsung 980, sn570, patriot p400 lite (was free in a bundle).
each bit added to the cells exponentially increases the damage dealt to them
over
that adds salt to the wound lmao
i expect about 3-4 more years outta this thing before it starts going read only
the tlc? still chilling at 99% after 3 years or so of use for games and storage
If you can show me a good deal on a 4TB SSD then I'm all ears, but all you guys have done so far is tell me that that's a ridiculous price and give me nothing
slc cells can do up to 100,000 program/erase cycles on their own, tlc only being able to do a few thousand on their own
Get the UD90 if it's not gonna be an OS drive
Came for help, but I've never been able to just get help with building my PC. Everything I do or think is wrong and people are so quick and happy to inform me of that and not actually give any kind of guidance š
can you kindly explain to us what you do with your pc?
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/VMXMnQ/crucial-t710-4-tb-m2-2280-pcie-50-x4-nvme-solid-state-drive-ct4000t710ssd8 A little bit cheaper and gen 5.
Actually someone did give you guidance and you dunked on them
you probably chose the worst time to build man ima be real with you
not even trying to get under your skin or anything
if you can wait it is better to wait
Here's a fun reread for you
That's why my first question for you was 'what's it for?' if you don't need it to be a great drive you can go cheaper.
Might find better pricing on 2tb
just saying though
The PC is already built, I just want more storage. That's it. Maybe a GPU upgrade in the next couple months, but I'm still making my mind up on that
a "shitty" ssd can be a decent drive depending on your use
Gaming mainly, animations secondarily
i have bought a wd green sata 120gb like 6 years ago, used as a boot drive
it's still going to this day
Heck I still have 2tb of sata ssds for games and can't tell the difference between those and my high end nvmes
I just don't want to have to get another, third drive later. Feels like a headache. C, D, F
A little cheaper, I wish best buy wasn't completely out of stock. I prefer to buy through them
You're better than me, I'm lazy and easily agitated
5 drives on one PC, jesus
I mean it's really not hard when launchers do all the file management for you. But if you're limited on m.2 slots then maybe going for the 4tb is worth it
If you want a 2tb the crucial p510 is about $250 on amazon. For a cheap 4tb I'd probably look at the g50 for a little over $400. I don't see anything particularly compelling on best buy. If you are going in store they do price matching with some places though.
There's a klevv cras c910 4tb for $500 which at least according to techpowerup is a TLC drive
Steam does make things somewhat trivial when you happen to reinstall the OS and keep your steam games on your storage drives
You can easily locate the games folder and you will have your games back in no time
Oh wait is the g50 4tb also tlc?
I think it might be
Def take that over the c910 then
Just over $400 for 4tb gen4 tlc really ain't that bad
information on the g50 is limited
i do know know of any part swaps
the klevv did swap a good bit and i do remember some nightmare scenarios people had with the driving going read only after a few weeks
i assume all that is ironed out by now though
99% of people will not have failures or issues. Speeds donāt matter outside of mostly careers that depend on them.
Most people would be fine with a gen 3 a60.
1tb nvme boot drive
1tb nvme āmediaā drive

Iāve always wondered, does woot like to drop deals at random times or certain times other than 12am?
woot generally drops their main daily drop at 12 am CT. They have clearance/open box stuff that drops at 10 am CT, but not every day. Then there are other random things that drop around 12 pm CT
Turns out my MB only has 2 PCIe slots anyway
Rog strix B850-A
Nevermind I'm stupid
It's confusing, since the extra storage slots are covered. I might be reading it wrong, but it looks like it has six
Four M.2 slots and 2 SATA.
What the heck is M.2?
Found this 2TB NVMe for $299, and I still have a $75 gift card from christmas. I feel like I might go with this, since I like crucial as a brand
$225 sounds like a steal for this, what do you think?
The p510 is faster, tlc instead of qlc and $250 on amazon. https://www.amazon.com/Crucial-Internal-Compatible-Desktop-Software/dp/B0DZ5XQNLM Looks like best buy is sold out so you couldn't even ask them to price match it if it has tobe best buy though.
Upgrade your system with the Crucial P510 2TB PCIe Gen5 NVMe SSDābuilt for gamers and home users who need high-speed Gen5 storage. With sequential read speeds up to 10,000MB/s and write speeds up to 9,500MB/s, the P510 delivers faster bootups, game loads, and everyday responsiveness. With 2TB of ...
What are TLC and QLC?
Types of memory on SSDs, QLC is higher density but lower endurance and performance than TLC, though that may vary depending on specific ssds
Do we know when is Newegg going to apply the new AMD promotion prices like every other retailers?
@gilded zodiac
Generally TLC can sustain higher write speeds after you run out of cache and it lasts longer and holds up better against being repeatedly over-written. They're pretty much always rated for higher endurance but you're also very unlikely to get past the write limit on a qlc drive before your 3 or 5 years of warranty is up. If it's just for a storage and games library drive then qlc can be fine if you're getting a discount.
For example the write endurance on the p310 is 220x, 440TBW (Tera-Bytes Written) for the 2TB model, on the p510 it's 600x, 1200TBW on the 2TB model.
Honestly
You are likely to never get over that rated number
You will lowk probably get a new drive well before that one wears out
My oldest SATA SSD is at 107 TBW rn. Altogether my 4tb of ssds have 262 TBW
The drives being used as OS drives have a lot more. Now that I think about it a decent chunk of that is probably shadowplay I'd imagine
Maybe I should move my temp location to a different drive
I canāt wait to see the rated lifespan for PLC
2tb probably 100 tbw

That tech will probably only be used for enterprise archives
Check the crucial e100 if you want a laugh.
Impressive, in a way
Itās 232 layers of tlc though⦠how is it still so poor
Ok so it is because they are using bottom tier flash that is just good enough to be sold, combined with a controller thatās not very good at its job
To put it mildly
The nand itself is rated for 1000 pe cycles, so 1000tbw equivalent, lower than usual but definitely not the reason for having such low drive tbw
The part I was the most confused by was why they sold it under their own brand instead of just letting it go on aliexpress.
@foggy coral
I don't know how Newegg handles all our promotions, but let me see if I can find out for you.
Can you please DM me for further details?
i think that was a pricing error, i wouldn't count on that being the norm for a loooong while
I initially thought it was inventory clearing or calculated errors to drive up traffic and fish people who might pay regular price.
This makes more sense.
right
Oops made this 9.9% off product 99% off
Depending on companies it can be human error or ai eating profits away
Is the last post a scam? Why does it have down votes if it's a good deal?
Itās not a good deal.
HDDs can be found for cheaper.
That 4tb ssd can be found as a hdd for half.
Uhh
Yeah so notice how it's an SSD and not hhd?
With current ssd pricing that 4tb is actually a nice deal
$35/tb
Actually looking at the listing it's maybe a little sus? But ebay has really good buyer protection
I still donāt think itās worth.
Welp. Is it faster than a HDD? Just need it for a server.
listing looks sketch as hell
Seller has good reviews tho
Oh wait nvm
That was for a different listing but if they're selling fake nvmes they're probably selling fake sata drives too
Real 870 evos generally cost significantly more than samsung's nvmes. Not 1/3 as much as a budget nvme.
It's definitely fake . Listing don't mentioning Samsung either. Its brand name is '870evo'
definitely it have 64 or 128gb flash drive in it

Exactly. If they can sell it for $207 new, why buy used?

ah so the others havenāt released yet?
as far as i know, yeah
3D printer.
I never got a response when i asked before so let me ask this way.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rWncck
Am i asking too much at $2000? Only 3 people have even bothered look at it on ebay. More have looked on marketplace but Iāve only gotten 1 offer i am sure was a scam and 1 offer to buy the CPU only.
On that note, should i part it out instead?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, Radeon RX 9070, HAVN HS420 ATX Mid Tower
A 500GB SATA drive really kills the desirability of the system for that price. I've seen other new 9800X3d/RX 9070 XT builds sold on Jawa.gg recently with 2TB NVMe SSDs for the same price with similar components.
The lack of ARGB fans also hurts its ability to sell for 2K.
I had a 2TB nvme in it but with prices what they are, i put it in my laptop. And swapped in the spare 500GB i had.
Most people spending $2K+ on a PC want something that looks "trendy" with ARGB fans and a single color scheme. The Black, White, and Grey doesn't go well together to many buyers.
Yeah, i built it for cost/function and not aesthetics. Guess thatās biting me in the butt now. Maybe i should sell it as parts.
Luckily i kept the original packaging on most things.
Also, thanks for reminding me about jawa.
$1600-1700 gets a brand new 5070 ti build, albeit with a worse CPU. but consider also that it's $300 cheaper and brand new
with an NVME too
i'm pretty sure this was a pricing error, but newegg had a refurb 9800x3d + 9070 xt build sold and shipped by newegg for $1000 the other night
Yeah, i saw that. And i think it was a one-time thing or error or whatever but it did get me thinking. Thatās kinda why i brought it up.
i'd probably refer to the $1600-1700 5070 ti builds as a price anchor
Cheap ah 3d printer, why it was deleted i have no idea
I guess because it wasn't a great deal, just an average price. It often sells for $50-$90 less than the price listed in the deal.
Ok I know it wasn't a deal but my comment about the destiny DLC getting deleted is crazy @thin bolt
destiny 2 cope
The channel already gets crowded with stuff that belongs in #tech-deals-discussion
Side comments that have been made 90000000 times arenāt really needed either
Singular one line message..
Final shape was end of a saga
Edge of fate has since had other games release with new content like arc raiders, bl4, marathon, etc. game is also delayed dlc
They should have ended it after Final Shape, taken a year and done Destiny 3 in a different universe, maybe even more Halo than live service. Marathon was a mistake.
And I was a HUGE Destiny player from Beta up until Witch Queen.
They donāt own halo.
343 owns it.
Marathon was not a mistake. I donāt play it, but it has a decent player base.
Sorry, I misspoke. I meant a Halo-type shooter.
Soā¦. Destiny.
No. Destiny is basically an MMO shooter. I mean like HALO. Single player/co-op game.
Marathon has a solid base, but the development costs as reported are way too high for what it is expected to make in terms of revenue.
Itās gonna be free to play eventually

Yes
it's a mee6 perms thing, what are the deals/what is your question?
could we dm? I wanna upload the bundle, and im Curtis if I should get the ram and case with psu or with motherboard, but the thing is the case and motherboard are white eith black ram, the other deal is full black but more expensive
sure, i'll upload the pic here and we can discuss
im leaning to the one on the right what do you think
the ram is 32gb
and its all black which I like
I prefer a solid color
my current budget is around 1.5k cad, I was hoping to get a ryzen 5 7600 with a Radeon rt 7700rx
unless that case is way more expensive than i remember i'm pretty sure you can get an equivalent parts list for considerably less. lemme check
okay thanks
even paying for new ram you can save like $75
Part List - Corsair FRAME 4000D RS ARGB ATX Mid Tower
but used DDR5 is wayyy more affordable than new
idk if I wanna risk it with used
if you get it on ebay you have a money back guarantee if it's faulty
dram is dram, the same 3-5 manufacturers produce all of the modules, there isn't any difference between brands
whata dram?
ram
oh
reason i ask is because OEM hynix A die is like $200 and you can punch in some really basic settings to make it way faster than any stock XMP kit
isnt ebay like Facebook marketplace? would i have to pay shipping to return it to the owner
that looks like word vomit to me I dont understand
wait are these prices cad or usd?
im cad
depends on the item. i had to pay return fees on some dram i ordered a while ago, but i put it in an envelope so it was like $1 and some change
USD
so conversion it would be the same as what I showed u
gotcha, didn't realize that bundle was in CAD
534 is 700 cad
yea that's a pretty solid deal actually i'd snag it
yah
Okay
thanks
is that ram reputable?
thanks @cunning flame for all ur help, im prolly gonna look for a ltle longer and prolly buy this deal soon, godspeed
@cunning flame do i wait for ram to drop
corsair is a shit company, but they don't actually make dram they just put a heatsink on it and sell it, so it's as reputable as any other stick of dram
if you need an upgrade soon ish there isn't much reason to, but if you can wait 1-1.5 years sure, prices should fall considerably one OpenAI runs out of money and their uncut wafers enter the market
Yo how do i tell u i found a better deal
that's only 16GB of ram. AM5 boards are like $140 CAD, so you're paying $230 CAD for 16GB of ram
its cheaper then current prices, and I only have 20 bucks left over so I cant get 32gb
my main issue with doing the 2x8 kits and upgrading later is that 8GB DDR5 sticks are inherently slower than 16/24GB sticks even at same clocks and timings. so upgrading down the line will both limit how fast you can run your memory (boards hate having all four dimms populated), and your memory will be slower than it 'should' be on paper
honestly i'd just buy a used 1x16GB OEM hynix stick, and then upgrade to a second one whenever you have money. they're not that expensive at all and you can get really great performance out of them with some pretty plug-and-play settings
found a 9060xt for 529@cunning flame

any idea of when this comes back
Asking for a friend
Anyone knows a good deal on an Arctis Nova Pro Wireless? Kindly assist. Thank you.
if your friend wants cheap Arrowlake tell them to hit me up, assuming my Maximus works i'll be flipping my Z890 Tuf for really cheap
and the OB 265kf is still/back in stock
Check this out on https://www.newegg.com/intel-core-ultra-7-265kf-core-ultra-7-series-2-arrow-lake-lga-1851-desktop-cpu-processor/p/N82E16819118507T
new 250k sells for pretty much the same and you get a decent free psu on top
6 un-hyperthreaded P cores vs 8
less cores but better performance in games, 10% slower in productivity but significantly lower power consumption, also has gpu and is new
worse performance in games with 200s boost enabled, which all z890 boards support
it's sold by a retailer so it carries a warranty either way. newness is pretty irrelevant in that regard
i'd rather have the faster CPU that scales threads better without leveraging E cores for basically the same price
are there any tests showing that 265k with d2d, ngu and ring overclocking better then 250k?
dawg it's the same silicon but clocked higher with more cores. you don't need a test for that. the uplift the 250k sees is by increasing D2D to 3ghz, boost clocks are practically exactly the same. 200s boost pushes d2d and ngu to 3200mhz
I though there were more internal changes besides these clocks
Scratch that woops

I hate how it gives the option for ābuy nowā but says at the top āoosā if you scroll up
If it comes back into stock, or something similar, pls dm me
I need something like that
oooh that's nice
i had an issue on my asrock board where memory write bandwidth was really low for no good reason, but that might have been something specific to the RS
if the higher end boards aren't like that, then that board should be wicked good for overclocking
the RS didn't have the d2d issue that my Tuff has
For that corsair power supply deal, it only goes down to 63 USD for me.
Are you all seeing it go down to 40 USD?
DANNNGGGGGGGGGGGG
I think $45 was a price error
@fringe olive itās their ārevivalā series aka save the earth series
So they still have their B stock/refurbished psuās on the website, just harder to navigate to since they updated the UI
Just these revival series are something else, itās a partnership for sure but I donāt know about the quality of the PSUās.
Oh I just realized that the revival set doesnāt include ā non-essential parts or accessoriesā
And the quality is Grade B-A, meaning scratches, dents r cosmetic defects
how does someone dent a psu
rest of the pc probably didn't survive them if they were able to dent a psu
Coulda dropped it before installing
everyone knows you install carpet flooring before you install a psu
is this good
@bold willow @kindred portal @fallen idol @cunning flame
Yes
ty
Just got the 2 PSUs in the mail, each around 8 pounds
Omg ups shipped me some Corsair bombs šš
And it looks like the shipping box is the container for the PSU too, instead of the nice small box they had advertised on their website
Theres no S&D on the unit, and I donāt know how to test one of these really, looks like itās brand new though
Bro pinged me like im deal Jesus
Idk I havenāt looked at part prices since 2020
frrr
š
Letās hope itās worth it š¤
How'd you get the $75 in rewards?
That's cheap but that's the super dim one isn't it?
yeah like 200 nits
but I mean for $266...
If you made a new dell account between March 2nd-April 17th, you got $25 in rewards then if you get approved for a dell credit account you get $50 in rewards. Along with the 10% off code you get for your first purchase.
ah, credit card
It also says up too 9% cashback but it only gave me 3%. Or unless it gives cash back to both dell account & credit account.
Yoz when do nrwegg deals refresh i wanna get a 906p
man. need me a good ol nvme like 2 or 4 or 200tb that isn't $50,000,000
Ok. 200tb NVME for $125,000,000
I have a feeling 200tb would be pretty easy to get for $50,000,000
man that oled just keeps getting more and more tempting
how do they have so many refurb tho
They must have a deal with aoc. There are official ones for acer and msi (stralit partner) too and probably other brands.
Be careful if you do. Most of them donāt come certified refurbished. I should have read the reviews before but this is one I ordered from Acer.
Damn that sucks man. Wonder if it was done during shipping, though.
tbf you just get your money back through ebay. bit of a pain, but for a $200 oled... i wouldn't mind refunding and then getting a second one lol
I've only had bad experiences with Acer refurbs. Bought monitors twice and they were at a great price but not actually refurbished
yeah
i bought a prebuilt from them on ebay
and couldnt get a refund or anything from them or ebay lolo
literally the biggest pain in the ass ever
can't believe i missed the oled deal, normally for that they last longer
753 sold in 1 day
wonder if they will mark it down cheaper
Well unless something happens to stagnate oleds. I think they will only become cheaper and better.
The PC Cooler $99.99 1200W PSU review: https://hwbusters.com/psus/pccooler-ys1200-atx-v3-1-psu-review/
It was packaged pretty bad but something tells me it broke before hand & they just wanna make a claim from fedex.
Yup, I also got that new Alienware oled for $270 but I think Iām going to return it tbh.
Just a waste of time imo. Plus gas aint no joke rn.. š
gold/plat efficiency is nice for 100
gold for 110v, plat for 230v
It was a reel from aggro crab I believe
@fair moon wonderful bundle
Is that eBay seller selling the Microcenter 7500X3D bundles without the RAM?
Damnit. Missed this for $20
