if they wanted to scam they could at least use a pencil that works with the current ipads
damn ur right
nvm
damn i cant cancel the order i placed 2 hours ago
scummy marketing
naming the product "Apple iPad Pencil (1st Generation)" but then putting in the description a different brand
at least i can cancel the adapter
NEVERMIND
BESTBUY SAYS I CANT CANCEL EITHER
LITERALLY ORDERED THIS AN HOUR AGO
The name is correct, because instead of "Apple Pencil" it's called "Apple iPad Pencil"
scummy marketing but you failed to check
And Bestbuy won’t let me return either
All corpus are scummy . Johnny Silverhand was always right
Expecting a 90%+ off sale on an apple product is a little wishful lol
johnny silverhand was also a terrorist tbf
anyone who acts differently can be considered a terrorist by those who support a different side
in much countries opposite leaders and parties also being called terrorist so
i'm good at being a terrorist (in counter-strike)
Idk if this was the listing but it's pretty obvious it isn't Apple
'Those who make peaceful revolution impossible will make violent revolution inevitable.'
if you're against system it's easy to call you terrorist

i love my pencil that is universally appliable as nothing but an ipad
honestly looking at the picture you can tell its kinda fake but it can convince people who dont kniow
the official gen 1 charging port isn't in that spot
the eraser part is detachable and the plug is there
When it’s a deal that’s disappearing in a minute I bought asap
It was one of those short deals
Anybody got any good gaming laptop for under 500
Do you guys know of any good 4k monitor on sale pls?
I'd stick to new items--mostly because if it's used, there are likely very few or even just one of the item
yeah
also im broke and microcenter raised prices sooooo
ah heck
I'd say start accumulating parts, but then you could potentially end up in a situation where return windows have closed and the parts don't work
of course you could RMA but that can take awhile
well
i mean after i buy the rest of the pc im broke
i have everything here/ordered, and going up to microcenter tmrw
what happened? price went up?
yeah microcenter raised prices by 50$ for 9700x/7700x and lowered 7800x3d bundle by 20$
and i was getting the 9700x bundle... the prices changed yesterday...
so now i dont get a white mobo
which sucks but eh at least its the same price
IS there any website or anything I Can track for good 4k monitor deals?
they have discord too
probably hottest 3080ti in existance
Ngl it gives off Aperture Science vibes
#tech-deals Free corsair vengeance? Id rather get paid to receive that
yeah that mobo deal kinda sucks
cpu is decent if u want those games
i got my 14600k for $200 new on newegg
Pay me a waste disposal fee
Issue is it's not just Corsair vengeance, it also means you're getting a ddr4 mobo
iirc the Intel CPUs that work with ddr4 aren't really worth it if you run them with ddr4
^
and at that point, buy an AM5, or even then try finding a "cheap" ultra core 9 something something
Yeah a 7500F plus mobo and ram comes to $320 or so
No no, vengeance alone is a problem
💀
Bigger than all of it
Vengeance is the dice roll of stability for ddr4 lmao
except the dice always gives you snake eyes
You’re a problem
Vengeance owner detected
Where 👀
$180 for 2tb is disgusting
Hell the 990 evo is $125
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/kFrqqs/samsung-990-evo-2-tb-m2-2280-pcie-50-x2-nvme-solid-state-drive-mz-v9e2t0bam
4060 for $1100 is gross
Its the cpu/storage/and ram that youre paying extra for not the 4060
no
I have a 13700F and 4060 with ddr4/1TB in my pc. And then ryzen 9 7940hs/4060 ddr5/ 512GB on my laptop which i got for $800 at best buy open box. This gives you the all around performance but tbh id be looking at laptops with these specs
youre heavy overpaying, not a good deal
14700F -$300
Case - $100
MB- $150
PSU -$100
GPU- $300
RAM- $150
SSD- $175
Math is about mathing
Its just prebuilt so you dont have to build it yourself lmao
ram is 80, ssd is 90
psu is like 70
case is not 100
Really show me a 2tb ssd for $90 and im buying it today
And writing it off for my business
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7700X, GeForce RTX 4060, DIYPC ARGB-R1 ATX Mid Tower
better for cheaper
That cpu is better?
Part List - Intel Core i7-14700KF, GeForce RTX 4060, DIYPC ARGB-R1 ATX Mid Tower
If you need multicore performance the 14700kf is better
Ofc
If you need igpu, whether for display or video editing, the 14700k, non f is better
If you're gaming id do none of these
Whats best gaming cpu rn?
Hmm thats fair
7500f is $115 from aliexpress, which is unbeatable price to performance
any deals or recommendations for a 4k 144hz monitor? 32" preferably. also ips since my friend isnt trying to clean out his bank account for oled unless theres a good deal going on
1440p 240hz oled
/hj
(idk any 4k panels or i'd give one, but seriously unless they're like editing 1440p >> 4k)
What gpu is he on?
Cheapest decent 4k high refresh rate 32" is $500
Unless he's on a 5080 equivelant or better id go 1440p and save $200-300
honestly forgor. dont remember if he got a higher end rtx 40 series or a 50 series, he said like once
Id go for one of those, aside from oled options
32" 4k costing the same as a 1440p oled is kinda gross though
Most people would have a much better experience with oled
what about this? forgor if it was ktc or if it was a different brand that someone said they make the panels for a different big brand
https://www.amazon.com/KTC-UHD-144Hz-Gaming-Monitor/dp/B0CSX6WQGH/
Introducing the KTC H27P22S 27 inch 4K UHD Gaming Monitor, the ultimate computer monitor for gamers, designers, and professionals. With its Fast IPS Panel and 1ms GTG Response Time, this pc monitor delivers a smooth and seamless gaming experience. The KTC H27P22S has a 4K, UHD, 3840*2160 resoluti...
if not then ill probably show the lg
4k isn't very noticeable at 27", ktc has some good panels
They are an oem for other brands like you said
Id probably say this, but i still wouldn't bother with 4k personally
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/GzWzK8/gigabyte-m28u-280-3840x2160-144-hz-monitor-m28u-sa
Lmao
The m28u is solid, but 4k is just very hard to recommend. The decrease in frames and or graphics settings isn't really worth the clarity increase, especially below 32"
@azure pond found out what gpu he has, 4070 super
time to try and convice him to do 1440p
Yeah hard pass on 4k
16gb vram is the minimum for 4k, unless he almost exclusively plays slower paced/single player games
no newegg april fools is crazy
Chicken farm themed server would be funny
gpu-less 5600 build is about $400 and used 6700xt can be had for around 300
I suppose 3070ti is faster than 6700xt but it's gonna get held back by 8gb
oh damn that's true we didn't get a funny april fools this year
It's not too late
I can nuke the server for the lolz
Do it
I mean we didn't get anything like ibrite cpu
/kick @ everyone
anything on the actual wegg page
Do it
black ram dissipates heat faster
superior
idk actually how much of a difference it would be
Id make a few changes, is this purely a gaming pc?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7700, Radeon RX 7800 XT, SAMA 3509 ATX Mid Tower
Same pc with some improvements and a good bit cheaper
Technically there but in practice completely negligible
The convection will be moving far more heat than radiation
this is propaganda coming from big convection
who do you work for
@azure pond although model D/O is good for like games that need double click, the software is so buggy and discontinued
Imo the only game I would think of if I needed a mouse like that is MC
It could be A0 pcb which isn't as good
Can u see when they were made or nah
Time to use fans on em
Budget?
around 1500 - 1700
Protip: don’t use bottleneck calculators
They’re often wrong
They're always wrong
If you are ok buying off aliexpress you can get a 9700X for cheap
And i can make a parts list around that cpu
@bold willow it’s a 1080p monitor
Huh so just wide screen then
Yeah
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/kk3Zjn this is a bit over
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, Radeon RX 9070 XT, Thermaltake View 270 Plus TG ARGB ATX Mid Tower
But also who gets ultra wide monitors for competitive gaming anyway
VA ultrawide seems like a good monitor for casual gaming who want it to look nice
Why is the 5070ti 1250$ 💀
Ok and? It's the best ur gonna do rn
Newegg refurbished is good, liek rly good
I just checked you can't lol
If you wait you can
Idk what ur talking about cheapest bundle with a 5080 is $1670
Or you can get a Newegg refurbished, 6950xt for like 490$ appear decently often
If they wanted to spend less i was just going to link a used 6900xtxh/6950xt
https://www.newegg.com/Product/ComboDealDetails?ItemList=Combo.4771429 this was not too long ago
where did you find that cpu
it still says +330
and I really dont care about the case, I'd just take the cheaper option D:
Grab that
Mobo and gpu
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 9700X, Radeon RX 9070 XT, Montech KING 65 PRO ATX Mid Tower
9700x is cheaper on aliexpress, but thats up to you
There's also 7800x3d
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005006325527723.html
wait but that isnt even a deal
well
you save on shipping
It is because the 9070xt is on stock at a reasonable price
fair
If you can find a 9070xt for under $730 somewhere else that'd be fantastic lol
Or a 5070 ti under $800
wdym by 7500F
Ryzen 7500F cpu
It's essentially a 7600 with no igpu
i would get the 9700X
I don't wanna spend money for a pc that ima be playing siege on 1080P yk
you want a faster cpu for 1080p
yk that right??
but still a really good CPU with a great GPU and a substantial power supply won't negatively affect the low demand demanding games I wanna play
yk that right
I'm not trying to play anything at high or demanding settings
r6 is poorly optimized as are other cpu based games like fortnite, cod, etc.
Just something that can consistently run low demanding games
the cpu is $230 after a coupon, you save $100 at most by getting a 7500F off aliexpress
im not the biggest fan of aliexpress. its not known for its reliability just cheaper prices
aliexpress itself is fine, it is individual sellers, i buy cpus off there from different sellers with good reviews
90 day free returns
Fr
This 9600X was $170 from aliexpress
What seller and sellers have you bought from on AliExpress?
Id go for a cheaper gpu than the 9070xt for a 1080p pc
Sczcpu and comet crash global are good on aliexpress
Yeah, that's why I'm going for the 7080 XT
a used 6800 would do just fine $330
7800xt?
theyre all overpriced though
rn
Thats ok
I played games like siege and other games that aren’t demanding with a 6600 just fine
Should be $50 cheaper
I think even a 6800 is a lot for 1080p for those types of games
You could do like a 6700 or something
i mean if they want to save money the 6800 is best value used card imo
I'm using speak to text. It's not to fond on picking up every word.
Ah
they said to get a 5070 for msrp
The 5070 is similar to the 4080 right or 4070 performance wise
4070 super
The 5070 ti and 9070xt are a bit behind the 4080
Do you already own your 1080p monitor? And would you be open to an upgrade to 1440p?
Money is just the issue. Got a 1080 from a friend
I wouldn't see why upgrading would hurt
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Radeon RX 9070 XT, Montech KING 65 PRO ATX Mid Tower
Can still swap to a cheaper gpu
Just around $1700 w monitor
but the important thing being that the pc build itself stays relatively good compared to modern games
Good thing w am5 is you can just drop a cpu upgrade in later on
is that 9070 xt that much of an improvement
Over the 5070 yes, but its not required. It was just an example for the list
5070 at $600 isn't terrible
Or a used 6900xt/6950xt around $450
Oh i didn't even ask, do you have a microcenter nearby?
Its a tech store kinda like best buy but much better
Could easily find better on the second hand market tho
Or just wait until newegg posts more refurb gpus
Apparently that curved monitor isn't being sold in California
Must cause cancer or something
@winter fulcrum
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16819113786T?Item=N82E16819113786T
$190 7700 refurb
Not a crazy good price, but not bad for $520 either
Used/refurb still better value ofc
More likely it doesn't meet power saving requirements
New or used
New thats solid
Used thats a bit much
New
Yeah thats pretty good
i just don’t got the money rn 😭😭
F
it would take 5 days to come in and by that time it’s 100% gonna be gone
Yeah... you can definitely find a 6900xt used for around $450 tho
Or spend a bit more for an msrp 5070
I’ve been looking at Newegg refurbished
I was told 5070s aren’t really worth it cuz the best i could find was $650-700
5070 has been $550 a good few times recently
Yea if i can get a good deal on. A new one ima 100% try and get a refurbished gpu
Specifically the shadow 2x from msi, which isn't a great model but its good enough for a 5070
They had a $490 6950xt yesterday, or some sub $500 3080 12gb/tis
400ish 6800xts
i have the 6700xt rn and i saw the 3080 but idk if its good enough upgrade
Cuz i have 12gb vram on my 6700
i looked today there are none they sell out fast bruh
Yeah lmk when you've got the money and I'll ping you when they go in stock
You think 550 will be enough to take out? Or should i wait a few days till i have like $700
550 should be good, even w tax on $490 you shouldn't go over $550
What will i be able to get with that roughly?
Is that much of an upgrade from 6700xt?
6900xt/6950xt were $450-500
Ehh
6700xt is roughly 30% worse than a 6800xt if i remember right
Okay
I do plan to sell 6700 xt when i get new gpu prob for like $200 cuz it dont have the io shield
Oh it's only more like a 20% difference between the 6700xt and 6800xt
i would aim for the 6900 XT or 7800 xt at minimum
6900xt/7900 gre imo
7800xt is a 6800xt in raster, with rtx it matches the 6900xt but meh
power draw and av1 as well
Okay
are open boxes good on newegg @azure pond ?
ye
For the most part
Wouldnt go for their mobos
im just trying to find a gpu
I've suggested them to quite a few people and haven't had any complaints recently
A few years back their open box had a bad rep
Ok
@winter fulcrum sorry one more ping
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16819113770T?Item=N82E16819113770T
$144 7600x
@azure pond oos unless its about to come back into stock since the listing is up
boomer already bought it
Might need to change the seller
from wegg right?
@winter fulcrum
ion HAVE MONEy
😭
Doesn't let you change the seller?
do i take out $550 rn or wait like a few days to cashout like $600-700
6900xt for $450 is pretty great
Id only buy it if you're financially stable tho
Not worth missing meals or gas for a gpu
Im not an adult so im good lmao
Well
It's oos
Theres still this, but meh
https://www.newegg.com/evga-geforce-rtx-3080-12g-p5-4877-kl/p/N82E16814487553T?Item=N82E16814487553T
Out of stock
yea just put that together
well money wont come until like wensday next week
and by then im sure there will be some stuff available
how often does stuff come on sale like that'
Newegg has been posting refurb gpus daily the last few weeks, they go out of stock pretty quickly but $450-490 6900xt is fairly common
Id say within a week of you getting the money you'll be able to snag one most likely
7800xt is a 6800xt with lower power draw and better ray tracing
In games with ray tracing on, the 7800xt=6900xt, but i really wouldn't make a purchase based off rtx
6900xt matches the 7900 gre in raw performance
like recently some games ive been playing have been droppin in fps for some reason
5600x and 32gb ddr4 3600
yes
What resolution do you play at?
1080p 240hz
You'd benefit more from a cpu upgrade
im upgrading both
How do you feel about a reliable seller on aliexpress?
I plan to get 5700x3d
Ohh alr
Unless it's ~200 I wouldnt really
Then what should I get?
7500f is $120 on aliexpress or 7600x is $140 refurb from newegg (when in stock), mobo is $110-150 and ram is $80
5700x3d has been $300-375 alone recently
so should i do that instead of upgrading my gpu for now
Yeah I'd do cpu/mobo/ram first
What psu do you have btw?
cuz ik its gonna get more expensive cuz of the tariffs
750w gold
Do yk what model?
well it could be a different version more than one
make sure it's actually gx not fx lol
they have the gm models too
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
on the box it says
my gx 750w had a problem where it would shut off under load when i wasnt even exceeding 750w
A tier if I'm not mistaken
What gpu was that with?
when did you buy it? rough year wise
Someone's d.f 850w was tripping from a 3080s transients lol
i think 2 or 1 and a half
7900 XTX, even with power spikes of 550W, a 5700X isnt drawing very much power
Transients will cause ocp to be tripped lol
Even if its a bit under total load
fine then, the gx that were tripping was pre ~2019
Ok
i tried it on an rm750 and it ran fine
any recommendations then for a mbu and ram i dont really know much abt am5
right i was pointing out seasonic isnt all that
Also Corsair is looser with ocp than Seasonic in general
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F
Could go for a better mobo, but that could handle a good cpu upgrade later on anyways
B650 eagle ax would be the step up from that one
Ok
the silicon power is same price and better
B650m pro rs wifi at $130 is fine too
Same difference and the sp kit only has a heat spreader on one side
so get the 7500f over the 7600x?
If you're fine with ali yeah, 7500f is an igpuless 7600 with a minor downclock
the sp 6000c30 kit is 2 cents less lol
i don’t really trust Aliexpress ngl
Any other options
live near a microcenter?
Thats fair, I'd only suggest a seller with tons of reviews but I won't tell you to use ali lol, just a suggestion. 7600x at $140 refurb from newegg would be the next best option
Or microcenter yeah
If you want new, it'd be 7600 at $180-200
The seller i linked on ali
Nah its still one of the best priced cpus for a gaming pc atm
bro
7500f is just better value lol
how do you find
?
whats the dif between 7600 and 7600x
Power limits and the 7600 comes with a stock cooler, performance wise almost nothing
Same cpu just with a different power profile from the factory
find what
Wsp?
No
ah ok
Short version is theyre physically built different than higher capacity sticks
So they kill cpu perf and overall system responsiveness
ok, i just got a b550 less than a year ago idk what to do with it if i upgrade same with old cpu and ram
Id stick to asrock b850m pro-a, b650m pro rs wifi, or b650 eagle ax with current pricing
Either gift to a family member or resell, assuming you don't have any purpose for a second pc
5600x is worth about $80-100 used, mobo depends on the model but id say $50-70, ram is around $40
Ram also depends on model, like an rgb tridentz kit goes for more than a random 3600c18 kit
Id say 65-90 depending on the buyer
its corsair slim somthing idk
Pretty nice mobo
Yeah $40ish
Unless it's 3600cl16
If it is maybe more like $50-55
its 3600 i know that
3600c18 would be 40
Imo yes. You give yourself an upgrade path, and with current 5700x3d pricing and after selling your current parts it'll end up being less expensive
5700x3d is $290, 7600 is $180, mobo is $110, ram is $80. Selling your cpu mobo and ram gives you $80+70+40 (estimates)
7500f would make it more worthwhile, but thats still a personal choice
Can drop in a 9800x3d into that $110 b850m pro-a (or either of the other mobos i suggested) without issue
And supposedly amd will be releasing 2 more generations on am5
i think ima get the b650m pro rs wifi cuz i need want wifi just incase
The two are about equal
Cuz I only upgrade really every 2-3 years atp
Some games that love x3d cache the 5700x3d might win by a little bit, others the 7600 will win by a bit
Yeah in 3 years you could drop in a 10800x3d (if that's what they name it)
Id only stay on am4 if you'd buy a used 5700x3d or 5800x3d
$290 for one new is gross
i was told that u should stay on am4 and get the 5700x3d then wait to upgrade to am5 when u build a new pc or sum
If the 5700x3d was $100 cheaper sure
5700x3d made sense for people on am4 when it was ~$200
Theres really no saying
I dont see the used market changing too much
Stock for new gpus already sucks, but the used market has been pretty stable
Also since you're running into choppy game play, you're likely being cpu limited, not gpu limited
Even moreso since you're at 1080p
Ahh and ive been playing beamng and like it freezes when i load stuff in is that my cpu/ram?
Very likely yes, otherwise maybe temp issues
Ok so i dont needa upgrade gpu?
if not then i can prob get a better cpu and more ram if i need to
6700xt should be running beamng without issue at 1080p
32gb is plenty of ram
it runs it at like 90-110
Id say go for the b650 eagle ax for a better mobo, and maybe a 7800x3d or 9800x3d
Otherwise just stick with the 7600 or 7500f
Set a frame limit of 75ish
i need wifi on it
okay is the 7700 good or no
i just realised its $310
holy
For gaming its not better than a 7600
Ok
Main options for you would be 7500f, 7600/x, 9700x if its priced well enough, or an am5 x3d cpu
7800x3d was refurb for $350 on newegg
9700x is $320
I wouldnt buy it unless it's 280ish imo
open box one is 390
Not terrible
how much is 7800x3d normally
it's not in stock much anymore since the 9800x3d came out
it used to be around 350ish new before intel crapped the bed
ah
oh the open box one is not returnable
so i aint gonna get that
i think i may just stick th am4 cuz i would be happy with the 5700x3d and it would be WAY cheaper
Depends on what price the 5700x3d is
just the deals
oh i have no life
thats a lie, i do have a life i just spend too much of it on my phone lmao
its 288 rn
cuz idk if i even needa upgrade my gpu
Def not worth when 7500F is like $125
but it will be like $400 for everything and id rather get a new gpu then upgrade to am5 rn
$125 cpu + $120 mobo + $40 ram is $285 total
Oh right ddr5 you want 2*16
and taxes
Even then I don't think a $288 5700x3d is worth
1x16gb 6000c30 is ok for budget builds, bc you can just add a second stick later
how much would a 5600x bottle neck a 7800 xt or sum around there
Purely depends on the game
At 1080p a very noticeable amount
1440p would be a bit better but still noticeable
idk what to do bruh
like i wanna upgrade to amt but at the same time i wanna upgrade my gpu
and its either or
whatever i get now i wont beable to get the other part for a month or so
can just do gpu now, and then do am5 upgrade in a month
If you're going to get one first I'd recommend the gpu
ok
The ones in #tech-deals are good rn
imo the 6700xt is not your issue for 1080p tho
mostly oos
and he can't buy yet
Ah
i play on 1080
i get my money on roblox so it takes a lil to come in
im not even going to question it
Honestly I'd maybe reccomend upping to 1440p as your first upgrade if you have a 6700xt
eh
1080p isn't unreasonable w a 6700xt
i would upgrade after swapping gpu and cpu tho
i make games on roblox and get paid and then u gotta devex it to real money
thats prob what ima do
Right but if he's getting a 7800xt he'll want 1440p. I'd rather run a 6700xt at 1440p and upgrade gpu a bit later than runn the 7800xt at 1080p on whatever current cpu (5600?)
Yeah 7600x goes for like 135-140 in #tech-deals a lot, then mobo is 120$ for an ok one, and ram is 40-80$
ye but gpu prices might get screwed up in the next month
Yeah fair
idt the used market will change much personally
Eh…
More demand for used stuff since new stuff way up
on amazon theres a 7800xt for 500 and i hope its still there in a few days 🙏
I got a 9070xt for 670, and my parents paid off 300$ of it
Get a 6950xt
Instead
how much is that
alr i just took out 570 so that should be enough I hope if i can get a good deal on a new 7800xt or a used gpu
whats in the bundles
Gpu is the part I'd absolutely reccomend going used/refurb
Usually gpu + psu/monitor/mobo
yea i prob am
i mean i dont really need that tho
and im assumin they expensive
The bundles will sell items that are in high demand for reasonable prices
With usually a small overpriced second item
5070 has been $550 a good few times recently
new or used
Yeah, you can also sometimes find 9000 series
new
Which often beats the point of the reasonably priced high demand item
it's basically the worst model, the shadow 2x, but it's ok
ah ok
uhh
depends on what u do, but 7800xt is usually cheaper no?
prob 7800xt if it's a $50 diff
Yeah but you’re not getting that item for any reasonably priced amount anywhere else
yes
9070xt
i tried to find some
you're not finding one under $670
or wait 3 years for arc celestial
Those are 1k+
i found one foir 599 but it sold out
there's one for $730 bundled with a b850 for $180 on newegg
yea
Didn’t it sell out
was back in stock as of a few hours ago, idk if it still is
Costco wants $1200 for an iBuyPower PC with a 14700F and 4060 🫠
At least it has RGB RAM, that adds like 10 fps right there
Costco💀
Now I love Costco as much as the next buy their strong suit is not computers
they sometimes have crazy deals on pcs
There was another one there that was $900 for similar specs, weaker CPU and same GPU.
Could be much worse considering prebuilt
Sam’s club also has pcs
Costco usually has pretty good deals on laptops
But it says "please take one"
It doesn't specify what things to take
How does someone expect to make it out the door with a whole 4070 super anyway
if you ever attempted that in costco, 100% membership gone
grab a screwdriver, shove it in your pants, idk about the i7 though, but 4070S for sure
go grab something from the cafe in cash, walk out
they never checked my card in sams club
Shove it in your pharmacy bag ig

usually these sell out fast
Nice, they did indeed
@orchid thunder @winter fulcrum
Bunch of gpu deals including $490 7900 gre and $400ish 6800xts
Im not sure if they do since they're refurb, they are sold by wegg yeah
Correct, refurb does not count. And it's only AMD GPUs.
I just didn't feel like typing refurb for each link lmao
Most of them are refurbs, I see that now lol
Sheesh I'd love a $490 6950
I sold my 3080 ti for $600 lol
Free upgrade
That and the gre for $490 are great
Ion got money till next week I’ll ping you when i do
Sorry mb
All good
Mr. TheTrueBacca
yk any prices for a 7600xt or equivalent
my friend tryna get a build
@azure pond https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7j38yW
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 7600 XT, Fractal Design Meshify C ATX Mid Tower
thoughts?
my friend built this
I'd make some other changes to the list though
if you could help that'd be great
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Phanteks XT PRO ATX Mid Tower
Theres this too
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16819113770T
$144 7600x refurb
And he could go for a 6950xt if he wants
https://www.newegg.com/asrock-radeon-rx-6950-xt-rx6950xt-ocf-16g/p/N82E16814930073T
wait
6950xt for $490, 6800xt for $380-400
I meant would the 6950xt be more worth going for
Oh yeah
$490 6950xt is kinda crazy value wise
Especially that model, it's one of the best
$380 6800xt here, $110 less for 15% ish worse performance
https://www.newegg.com/gigabyte-radeon-rx-6800-xt-gv-r68xtgaming-oc-16gd/p/N82E16814932381T
Either of them completely gaps the 7600xt though lol
7600xt loses to a 3060 ti, 6800xt is around 3080 12gb perf
6950xt slightly outperforms the 3090
Oh one more link, another $490 6950xt in case that one goes oos
https://www.newegg.com/xfx-radeon-rx-6950-xt-rx-695xatbd9/p/27N-0002-00172T?Item=27N-0002-00172T
On the 6800xt?
Every gpu will have people with bad experiences, amd had some driver issues with early 6000 series but they've been worked out
Nvidia and intel have just as many issues, honestly nvidia has had more recently
Gpu sag wise, you should just get a sag bracket
Any heavy gpu will have sag
And btw in case it's a concern, the 7600x is plenty strong enough for a 6950xt
I'd suggest 1440p for that setup
and the ryzen 5 7600X is good too
Yes
Its fine for up to a 7900xt/4070 ti super tier gpu at 1440p
Here's a good monitor, in case he doesn't have one yet
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/7QsV3C/acer-nitro-xv275u-p3-270-2560-x-1440-170-hz-monitor-umhxxaa302
@azure pond deals is going crazy today
Oh this is pretty good too
https://www.newegg.com/evga-geforce-rtx-3080-12g-p5-4865-kl/p/N82E16814487557T?Item=N82E16814487557T
Im bored
6950xt is a bit stronger than the 3080 12gb, and the extra vram is preferable tho
This is my entertainment lmao
so the 6950xt if possible over the 3080
Yeah
I'd have him order it as soon as he can tho
They normally don't stay in stock even this long lol
Surprised to see the 6950xt still in stock tbf
Yeah a few of the 6800xts are already gone
And the 78x3d
$330 7800x3d and $144 7600x are pretty great
Im realizing a $1000 refurb 4080 is pretty gross considering the 5070 ti is semi easily available at $900
6950xt = 7900 gre? Roughly?
Ah nice
Iirc the 6950xt ocs better too, especially the oc formula
Yeaaaah I didn’t even think about that
Oh
I start my new job on Thursday
Ill finally have money only for gpus to be going up in price bc of tarrifs
Not that I'll have money to spend on my pc for at least a few months anyways tbf
@azure pond
Wsp
do yk what the difference is for V3 and V2 power supplys
The cooler master one?
yes
V3 has an atx 3.0 connector and is a bit better quality
its only a $5 difference
@azure pond got anymore cpus... 🥺
my friend was a lil too slow on getting that one
mb
Nah no worries
Is he fine with a trusted seller on aliexpress?
lemme askk
And did he grab a gpu?
yeah, he got one of the GPU's you showed
can you send the aliexpress deal
Not any more refurb cpu options really, so if he doesn't want ali I'd just buy a new 7600/x
Yep one sec
Gonna grab a couple choices for cpu
with the same build before
7500f is an igpuless 7600
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008073076500.html
9600x, lil bit better
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005008084100719.html
I'd say this one for the gpu https://www.newegg.com/asrock-radeon-rx-6800-xt-rx6800xt-tcx-16go/p/N82E16814930050T?Item=N82E16814930050T
that's the one I showed him 👍
I think the 7500f is good
and the 9600x
I'd still suggest 1440p over 1080p
9600x is at most 10% better than the 7500f
Tbf he could also make a 180 and do a 7800x3d
https://www.aliexpress.com/item/1005007941477365.html
is there a smaller or cheaper 1440p monitor you got
New not really
But refurb, that monitor is great
There is this ig, but the msi panel is better quality
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/2VfxFT/koorui-gp01-238-2560-x-1440-165-hz-monitor-gp01
And the acer mini led is a good bit nicer for only $20 more than that one ^
24" 1440p is a lil weird
Im not sure, monitors are a lot more than just specs on paper
Imo if your budget can fit it I'd really reccomend the miniLED
I normally go by rtings.com, but it doesn't have that monitor reviewed
I have a mini led thats a tiny bit better than that one, and i upgraded from a 1440p IPS panel to it
The mini led is fantastic
Hey did he have a chance to grab the gpu? It just went oos
There is still this 6800xt or the 3080 12gb
https://www.newegg.com/powercolor-radeon-rx-6800-xt-axrx-6800xt-16gbd6-3dhr-oc/p/N82E16814131769T?Item=N82E16814131769T
would this be a good deal? i could pick up a 9800x3d and a 32gig kit of ram for like 480$ and move over my 7900xtx and have a am5 build for like 800ish
Thats pretty good
Umm except Steel Legend is AsRock not Gigabyte. Verify what you’re getting.
Oh good point
Solid
well just gotta hope its still there in a few days
This came back in stock btw
https://www.newegg.com/p/N82E16819113770T?Item=N82E16819113770T
personally I'd just wait however long until the 9070xt goes back to normal pricing, although that will be a few months at least
its not gonna happen especially cuz tariffs so i plan to buy a gpu this week so
Fair enough, I'm just really cheap, and if I can afford to wait for prices to be lower, I will.
If there’s a good Newegg refurbished deal, buy it
Don’t wait just buy it
I have had been toying with the idea of selling one of my monitors and swapping for miniLED but never got around to it
The flat panel is was off-putting to me tho, at 27" I prefer curved
After using curved monitor for awhile, I sat infront of flat monitor and I thought monitor is curved backwards
I checked if monitor really flat by looking it from top lol it really tricked my vision
Chu 2 with some eq cope is really good
Sounds similar to my beyerdynamics now
Thats a weirdly shaped monitor
You mean the response curve right
Yeah its a little weird but there aren’t crazy peaks and valleys
Its more like larger areas that are boosted or cut
Not too hard to eq out

what happend to TheTrueBacca
Nothing
they just left?
Ah they did
I know she and some other people werent having fun on the server anymore
ah ok
where did she find all the deals on new egg
like is there a place where i can look or do i just gotta keep lookin up the gpu and check
Pretty much yeah
Could look for some reddit threads too, im not too keen on good reddit servers so youll have to look
Okay ig ima just check every so often then and hope i see sum
r/buildapcsales and Slickdeals will have stuff sometimes
Ok
Ill probs leave the server when/if felix and a couple other people do tbh
waitwaitwati whaaat
did i miss something
Eh people just not having fun with the server anymore really, simple as that
Life be life-ing
Rip
I guess? but like you can take a step back and not fully leave the server yaknow?
I do get that for Bacca it may have been somewhat of a timesuck/compulsive thing
I mean true, but if anything im trying to get off the internet more, plus ive gained a lot from this server already learning from everyone else and the likes
Getting into college
I just want to live life a bit more 🫡
AI is already becoming an issue
Dead internet theory is so real man and i just wanna spend more time with people 😭
Yeah I totally get that, I just don't get leaving the server.
eh, i barely talk here anyways
it was fun to chat here but im genuinely just trying to cut ties a bit with the internet
i wanna go out and get better with my archery and the like
work on my cooking,
just a lot
lol
the biggest one will be getting off youtube tbh]
as someone whos still in discords they joined in 2019 and dont use
i dont get why yall leave
lol
Ok glad I'm not the only one
I usually just leave the ones I have no interest in, but usually I just mute servers I don't want to use as much
I’m just here to post random deals I find and maybe sometimes share updates on my pc
I’m only here to find deals on a gpu that’s really it and ask questions
Nah fr

Well I haven’t gone on youtube for a good bit but before that
Man

Plus you lose access to that one emoji you’re going to regret not staying for.

main reason I am in this server is for the tech deals and cool people
I can trust people here over other servers for things like PC build lists or monitor suggestions
Do yall think these are good options?
what's the price?
The 750e isn't top recommendation, but it's not bad
Still better than my psu (750gt), even a refurbished 750e is better
But the case ain’t bad for price, ofc you’ll have to install fans but that’s not hard unless the mounting is horrible
But it’s kinda weird with cases, you got anything lower than $50 and it’s an ultra budget, $50-60 you get alright cases just without fans, $60+ is decently high end/way better standards
Eh. If the 750x is that highly recommended then ig I'll just nab it
Is it as quiet tho
I saw that digital sheet where people tested some psus, xpg wasn't on there unfortunately
I consider them to be the same tier
It's always a question of individual unit with coil whine
Cybernetics? They have core reactor ii
https://www.cybenetics.com/evaluations/psus/2217/
Cybenetics Test
Which is the most annoying type of noise a GPU makes
Hell I can't hear my PSU fan even going full bore over my case fans
So like
There's always some sort of limiting factor
wait lmao then the 750e is fine
dunno why its rated platinum on the sheet
ok im done looking rm750x
btw the xpg one was on sale but it varies from standard to A- rating
NOOO LTT caught on to the 7500F!
Incoming price increases!

Everyone has been saying you should buy AMD’s Ryzen 7 5700X3D if you’re building a budget gaming rig. But who wants to pay for a Computer that is out of date...
At least that does validate what we've been saying for a while. The 7500F performs about the same as the 7600 and 5700X3D
Can't have anything nice, LTT has to ruin it and tell the general public to do something

Guys, I want to get the AOACE pc for 799$ but the deal is going away in 11 hours, will it be back on sale later?
It’s 50% rn, when will it be 50% off again?
Do I have to wait till Black Friday?
I know but don’t you know about the usual big sales that happen
Not for individual products
Gaming pcs in general
I’m trying to buy my first gaming pc but I’m getting unlucky, and as soon as I found a good deal, it’s already leaving the store
Jayz2centz does the same thing with computer parts and other stuff on Amazon
Any time he finds a deal on budget fans, fittings, LEDs etc... on Amazon it sells out and the price goes up.
Bykski water cooling going up lately for that one 😭
Any good deals for a prebuilt?
its a safe choice, their psus (not bronze) are generally a safe bet.
kinda bad value
but they dont explode
was best value for a while, but now there are better options
iirc it's a low a-tier psu?
actually high-b tier
GF3 TT would save $10
plus higher ranked
or the MSI MAG A750Gl if you need 140mm
looks like they released a second version of it too for $5 more
i wonder what changed
Depends which tier list you look at
