No issues though you might want to use a 3rd party (if possible?) if you are going to use it as your main drive and need to copy your original drive to this one. MSI’s isn’t the most user friendly. Though it did work.

how I understand it (based on cpu undervolting)
all chips are slightly different, so the manufacturer gives a little bit higher voltage than needed so that all chips would be stable out of the box.
this also means that it's running less efficiently than possible, so undervolting aims to bring that voltage down to the lowest possible stable frequency
Doing this makes the chip run at the most efficient it can, meaning taking less power, and meaning less heat

No that's pretty well put together, except from my understanding its moreso to make sure that all those specific parts that kinda failed the silicon lottery which need the extra power function. This, in turn, creates a higher overall yield in product. Mass manufacturing moment

Its also why theres varience in clock speeds as well, because, again, the sillicon lottery (or imperfections that differentiate two "identical" chips or whatev) determines yield and lower clock speeds are more stable for most parts

clock speeds is more of a problem over power usage, since if it can't hit their advertised clock speeds then you're getting less than what you payed for

Its not the issue of parts being competent out of the box per se, they do testing, its just to make sure more parts work in total so they lose less money

I'd say it's probably because instead of getting a washed out black that is dispersed throughout the panel making everything else more fuzzy/white you get pure black making the rest of the colors pop.
