The only state I know of where if you work fast food you need to work for an hour just to pay for one meal
One of the states was like 18 dollars for a combo
Alaska or Hawaii probably, they don't count lol
Weird
Well I never had any desire to exist near there anyway before
Geez it isn't that expensive even up here in Boston
And we're Massachusetts. Known for prices that are too high
The hell is going on in Connecticut?
No idea
wasp repression
No such thing
What is that anyways
everybody gangster till it shows 2 headed bears
@wispy fern if you just waited a couple days for that pro a deal😭
💀
Was a great price huh. $136 now & not exactly oos but 2-3week delivery maybe.
Yeah when I had put oos, it was pricing at $240
Nah we'll still be fine, so long as we don't go to war over some dam
but, is there an air fryer that's endorsed by diplo???
Thabks amazon for super fast prime delivery
How good is this headset?
it's good for that price
Ooof ouch
Not a fan unfortunately. Fell off my head way to easily for some reason.
Not bad tho for that price
WTF the C2 is on a banger deal here too
Almost the same price wtf
Wait 42 inch, still way way cheaper than before

I think regular price for 48 inch c2 was like 1200ish
thats rough
My experience with my razer headset and a couple friends' headsets is that they have somewhat low clamping force. I personally find it really comfortable and can wear em for 6+ hours a day with no fatigue but they do slip forward sometimes if I'm looking down a lot
Razer razor
It's also giving me the option to pay 12 monthly payments instead of outright
My experience with most Razer products is they stop working or have issues shortly after the warranty expires. ☹️
My experience with razer products is a random deathadder from 2013 that I got for free
Still works
Which headset do you use? I kinda experience the same thing where I need to adjust them a bit if I look down a lot though I rarely do that so that avoids that issue.
I use the Razer Blackshark 🦈 V2 Pro.
Sorry to hear that. In my experience all my Razer stuff still works even after 24/7 use for over two years.
Kraken TE
@mortal blaze that's a scam.

Definitely a scam
@earnest ledge that rams about 10$ over the going rate for 3200mhz 32gb kit btw
oh interesting
Actually I think that ram is a scam too now that I look at it
Another random string of letters "just launched" seller
Delivery May 4-24th 😅
They're hoping you forget about it lol
crap I ordered it too
I thought it was an official one
The $49 seller is the scam one
The $69 ones are legit but meh deal
It's always China too...
Amazon made it look real, and official
it was even linked from the official store for that RAM brand
And that's Amazon's fault really because of how their links work
You can be linked a page and you'll get the cheapest option available by default, so all a scammer has to do is offer it for 99 cents less and free shipping
They also reduced the visibility of the seller part it seems like
Then why would you post it...
idk. sure somebudy like dangers or some analyist scam contents. !!
what u said, i delete? (question)
I've had this rzer kraken torunament edition headset since 2020
only for 40$ from target, they still work and I just started using it's primary thing considering it wasn't compatible with a mac LOL
Oh it didn't even show me a 49$ one wonder if it was taken down or just defaulted to the 69 one
You're outside the US, probably the seller wasn't listed for you
Usually they should be tho 🤷
Jeez all the Steelseries products are so expensive without the sales
100 bucks for an Aerox 3!?
Unless the seller explicitly excluded your country
Maybe ye
5700x back up to $194
Seller is legit and I've only heard good things about thermalright
I don't have that exact cooler but I have a thermalright assassin(?) and it's solid
phantom spirit is the best air cooler as of current also
The phantom spirit is essentially a peerless assassin with another heat pipe if I'm correct
Wonder if it's also a convex coldplate
I got the Thermalwright Intel 1700 CPU contact frame and its incredibly effective 👌
Great brand
Most of their bases are convex, but barely. Part of why the contact frame doesn't hurt. PS120(se) no reviews just because it's so new.
it's a great cooler, I have one
basically a $35 d15
ak620 is a little nicer, but also a little under 2x the price lol. pa120se is a no brainer imo
and hello again btw, it's been a while
$45-55 normally
So I'd go for ps120 se or pa120 se if they're cheaper, but at same price meh
@azure pond why the downvote?
isn't it a good deal? It looks like to me it's pretty good
Not enough RGB?
That kit uses a pretty old die, doesn't it?
Is there such thing as an "old die"? I didn't know that
I don't think that'd affect performance unless you're overclocking... Right? Should still be a good deal for 32gb of 5600 ram
As far as I'm seeing it's samsung B die
Can get a 6000mhz kit for the same price normally
If not a tiny bit more
Okk, I didn't know the thing about b-die being used on ddr5... That's probably why they're usually cheaper and always in discount
Changed the deal to inform people that it is b-die
As a note, I'm pretty sure that ddr5 b die and ddr4 b die are different things
Yeah at ddr5 side , hybix M die and A die is better
Amazing monitor deal
https://www.samsung.com/us/televisions-home-theater/tvs/micro-led/110-class-micro-led-samsung-4k-with-smart-hub-mna110ms1acxza/
Nothing much, just costs like a whole house
110" wtf
And still 4k? Bro
For a 110 inch TV I want at least 16k
To be able to even see the screen, with how far away you'd comfortably be, id say 4k is fine
Why be able to see the whole screen when you can sit 2 inches from the TV
That ain't a screen that's a wall
Just buy an extremely overpriced projector meant for cinemas and put it 5 ft away from the wall. It'll still be way less then what that monitor costs
It's for doctors to bet on the derby
All these gaming softwares are so annoying
Like I think the vengeance look pretty good but icue is such a pain
@marsh sphinx sadly no coupon to clip, however the promo code still works and makes the keeb $18. I'd say that's still solid for a hot swappable board with rgb
yeah, i ordered it earlier so the coupon mustve expired
like within this 6 hours
but good deal still
Does that promo code work for anything else? Where do you even find such a thing for Amazon?
I don’t think so, also i hunt for deals on the regular
if you have something I can find you a deal, some people on tiktok do the same thing
In case if someone missed Samsung monitor deal yesterday https://www.bhphotovideo.com/c/product/1663289-REG/lg_lsab_u325c_325_8k_ultra.html/865
Suggested payment 100k per month for 12months
Just think of the high quality PowerPoint that bad boy can fit

Like a projector but it's $100 a minute of run time
"Q&A 3 out of 9 questions
Can this run Fortnite? and if so, how many frames can I expect?

3840hz!

Damn why did the V3 have to go on sale now of all times
ok I refuse to download Synapse again, so I'm just...not gonna use the DAV3
is this a good chat / server to ask for laptop recommendations
I wanted this laptop but it went out of stock ):
seemed like good parts, gpu, ram, has an ssd, and cpu for a good price
most gaming laptops have ssd's nowdays so I wouldn't prioritize that, but the specs look ok
For reommendations I don't have any specific ones, but if you don't care about weight, look into Dell or other HP laptops
their websites often have sales
It's been a long time since I've seen a gaming laptop with a HDD
M.2 saves more than space, it's cheaper for them to make too
I remember there being a SATA slot on my old laptop, I wanted to add an HDD
cheap storage is cheap
okay good to know thanks : D
HDD isn't really worth getting unless you get more than 4TB
yeah I figured. Sata didn't look too worth it, cause I could buy something much faster for like 20 bucks more
didn't have a reason to have 4tb either.
You could get a SATA SSD instead
Yeah NVMe specifically, since you can still have a SATA M.2
oh no not the naming conventions again
hey does this look sketch to anyone else?!
what kinda deals has HP been hiding from me?
Ever bought one yourself?
I've been thinking on switching in college
I’ve bought a MacBook before yeah, they do the whole up to thing on their website… storage prices
Should just grab a base MacBook Air m1
Thing crushes for productivity
Has like a 3 day battery
If you're just gonna use it for school and tv then it's the perfect college laptop imo
you can get better at 1k tho
like 4050 or 3060
same perf gpus, same vram
as in 4050 compared to 3060
battery life is the concern for macbook im pretty sure
Eh, for battery life portability (oh you’re talking about hp)
omen base models doesn't have particularly big batts
doesn't help that it's got 12th gen
AMD laptop efficiency
Arm supremacy
Now that Windows has a better ARM image that's hard to argue against actually

No wait, Quantum supremacy
1 qubit equals 2 bits so potentially double the processing power per clock
Quantum running arm supremacy
Isn't out yet but the framework 16 laptop looks interesting
Definitely a bigger up front investment but you save $ down the line via easier repairs and upgradability
Riscv though
I'd argue that I each replacement motherboard costs as much as a new laptop, so there's no reason to upgrade it
No it doesn't? The highest end upgrade board they have has a 1280P for $800. Laptops with that CPU start at over $1100 and that's with no dedicated graphics.
Most of the other options are around $400-500, clearly lower than other midrange laptops.
DO NOT, DO NOT trust any mouse “deal” links from ʞ̶ɐ̶Ɛ̶ɹ̶ɟ̶⇂̶ɐ̶ʇ̶ɐ̶Ⅎ̶
Can I ask why? It's a DAVE
Has a history of janky buyer links. Purchase likely to take months before delivery or cancelled after months of waiting. Only pertains to mouse suggestions
In this case it's sold and shipped by Amazon so idk what the problem is
So was the last link I used, you figure it out
Well that's Amazon's fault not his then
It sounds like they oversold on the sale and couldn't get any in stock in time
970 evo plus has been 60$ for ages and isn't even good for 60
man, fast ssd's have gotten to cheap lately, felt like not long ago a $110 p31 1TB was a steal
Dude the wd 750se was a deal last year just because it was a competent SSD with a bf2042 code
Eh, something happened to the reactions in my post
Now? No where near as good a deal as it used to be
I feel like you could have left out BF2042 and it'd garner more attention
970 evo plus is pretty good for server use tbh
Cache or docker/game server use
Yeah but you can get the sn770 for the same price
True but i think endurance on 970 is better
Dont quote me on that
So what is a good cheap m.2 SSD now then? For a home PC/gaming
A60/mp33 are both really good value
Thank you
Why the heck is there a resume in tech deals
I didn't even see any references smh
$60 for 1tb of 970 evo?
Doesn't seem like much of a deal when 2tb nvmes are in the $80 range nowadays
Last year there was still 2042 hype and it hadn't gone on sale yet
Sn850x 1tb $60 at bestbuy
noice
Finally time to really upgrade off the crucial P Poo
external ssd time
Yeah long term I'll probs put it in an enclosure
I see
Tables how turning the have
how the tables have turned
How did my table turn
Turn how did table
table turned. how? (my house is haunted and I’m not trying to show it to the demon)
the turn how tabled
The table has been flipped upside-down
The flip has been upside-tabled down.

@quasi pasture if you have any interest, I've no idea about any d3 so this could be dog *** idk https://www.amazon.com/TEAMGROUP-1600MHz-PC3-12800-Unbuffered-Computer/dp/B00FAY0S08/ref=mp_s_a_1_1?crid=37HJ6WZF20LGQ&keywords=16gb+ddr3&qid=1682011055&sprefix=16gb+ddr3%2Caps%2C302&sr=8-1#
never check big retail like newegg/amazon for older hardware lol
and yes that memory is terrible
i guess the GB/dollar isnt too bad
I saw fairly cheap d3 so figured I'd check lol
Got the keeb in. It's like.. really solid for the price. Heavy, no bending. I'm surprised.
Great! It has a little ring to it, but nice design and I like the metal body, great for the price
There are hetter deathadder alternatives out there with improved sensors
At similar pricing?
Deathadder elite is same price rn and the v2 is $7 more
Deleted
Razer Viper can also be had for 25-40usd. Sometimes have to buy the "Razer Victory Bundle" to get that price
DA elite and V2 probably have a better sensor but tbh the viper is quite good already. Good option if you don't like the size/shape of the DA
@mortal blaze https://www.amazon.com/dp/B092ZCVHS8
Render in higher resolutions. Witness realistic pictures and smooth transitions. End choppy animation and catastrophic lag. Handle complex tasks with ease. Browse unlimited tabs and multitask like a pro. Do what you love faster with confidence. Sound like a dream? The new XPOWER Gaming DDR4 makes...
Double capacity for $8 more
One man's meat is another man's poison
That's- no.
You mean trash and treasure ig and no, these are cheaper if you want like for like.
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/XsKKHx/silicon-power-xpower-zenith-rgb-gaming-16-gb-2-x-8-gb-ddr4-3200-cl16-memory-sp016gxlzu320bdd
And even then it's like, no, $13 more for twice the ram is just worth it lol
Any good deals for reliable SD cards recently? For booting SBCs like the raspberry pi, bananapi, etc. (Specifically bananapi in this instance)
Likewise anyone know what the best deal on an ssd would be right now? Capacity isn't too important, as long as it's at least 500gb (it's for a boot drive) upgrading from an old fat ssd so any 2280s are probably going to be faster anyway
MP33, P41, 670P and A60 are great choices
Team group, Solidigm, Intel and Silicon Power are names of the ssd brands respectively, in the same order
These four choices, you can't go wrong with any
@polar field https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08462XNBN?th=1
A1 or A2 rating is good for Linux based stuff and Android. That means it meets a minimum threshold for random read/write.
$9 https://www.newegg.com/sandisk-64gb-microsdxc/p/0DF-0005-01SS9
The seller ships to Canada from what I can see, https://www.newegg.ca/sandisk-64gb-microsdxc/p/N82E16820173492?Item=9SIAWUKFUD7717
Just takes an extra $7 shipping fee
i half wish i lived in the US then i remember the political stuff going down there as well and also the weather and i change my mind LMAO
but got damn things are expensive here
i might pop to the local best buy to see if they have any of these microsd cards for cheaper
I was all set to move to Canada right before they closed the border lol
F
Best buy will price match but only for first party sellers
I always find these claims amusing
Nothing is waterproof. Water will always win eventually, it cut the Grand Canyon after all.
Temperature proof? Time to set it on my stove burner
Never used price match before. How does it work again? Can I just email them about a price I find on Amazon?
Gotcha. Wait does that mean only for products in stock?
Yes it has to be in stock in the store
Eh. I'll try it someday
It works great for major PC parts like CPUs
That kind of thing they can't stock a random more expensive model for
waterproof/temp-proof [to a reasonable extent]
dropping an SD card in a boiling pot of water probably won't kill them
There's no disclaimers or anything like that on the page, you have to go directly to the product data sheet to get any details
It's rated up to 185F/85C
probably in operation
It says storage temp range
is that bdie? that bin looks like hynix but i could be insane
Is that Seagate Firecuda a good deal? I'm thinking I might want an HDD to store the games I don't really play anymore, but still want them just in case I get a hankerin.
Its one of the lowest priced 8TB 7200 RPM HDD available right now.
Good price & hdd. If there's games played so rarely, perhaps just 2TB of ssd for $120ish or as low as $70ish. My 6TB wdblack is for rare & truly uncommon use/backup.
Maybe but probably not b-die. If it was straight 18 that would be more likely b-die but 18-20-20 could be several dies.
Probably not Hynix too, their 8Gb chips aren't great and CJR is typically 4000 18-22-22
Likely Rev.E or B-die now that I think about it, unless it's some cursed DR 4Gb setup
Very tempted to get the Asus brick
But the only itx motherboard I have is for a bulldozer and chip
cringes in athlon x4 860k
Is it worth making a Nas with that hunk of junk using that tiny Asus case?
Phenom II >>> Bulldozer
Sorry my bad, the 860k is steamroller, not bulldozer
Doesn't change your argument, just an edit on my part
Still, should I slap an 8tb hard drive and make a home shared storage with that?
The only thing bulldozer had going for it was you could hit 6GHz on air
Sure, why not? That's what I use an old X79 setup for. Plex server and storage.
6GHz
Finally, a CPU to meet all the vague CPU specification for videogames
"8 core 4.5GHz processor"

You didn't really gain any extra performance going super high clocks too, you actually became cache bound lol
Hmm, to have an itx shared storage that's compact or a full sized tower shared storage for raw capacity
I'd go ITX, you can always add smaller size, larger capacity storage later
If that's a 900 series chipset AM3+ board then you can boot from nvme with a pcie adapter
Or you can mod the bios on an older one to do so also
Nope, I have an 860k which is am2+
But I can always use a sata SSD as boot
AM2+ fits into the AM3 socket so I couldn't know for sure lol
There's also workarounds, like putting the bootloader on a HDD that points to the NVMe drive to boot
I remember the Asus Z11 case getting a bunch of bad reviews in the past. I guess that's why its $50.
The case was a pain in the ass to build in. The included fans were loud. GPU temps were higher than normal. With higher end components, they ran much hotter than average.
Its also huge for an ITX case. It can't hander 3 slot GPUs without the fans being on the glass panel.
*$57...there's a delivery fee
yes, but still
i guess...i think that metallicgear neo mini case is a better deal
(but i like air coolers, and 160mm of clearance vs 130mm makes a massive difference)
What about the thermaltake core v1
i use that one for my office pc...it was easy to build in...the 200mm fan isn't my favorite, and i'll eventually swap out for a chromax
Full size power supply too which is nice in an ITX with support for 255/285mm gpu
but, if i were buying an itx case rn for a big gpu, i'd go w/ the metallicgear neo mini...
160mm cpu cooler height, 190mm psu length, 345 gpu length...u will want to get fans for it...
(and it's $45 after mir)
And I just paid 55 for a 1tb mp33 in early March 💀
Is that worth $15 though, even if it is still in the return period?
Could return and pay $15 more for the 2TB
^ yeah that’s what I meant
Would the mp33 make a good game drive?
100%
For sure
I’m over here with my two 870 evo sata drives just sulking
Most ssd's are good enough for most things
We don't have the iops leverage in windows yet to make it matter
Could I say the same for Linux? Idk, I don't use it 💀
lol
Yeah, my sata ssd is a crap tier dramless
The wd green
For a year ago that's decent
it was on best buy a few days ago
I mean my sata’s are in raid 0
back too $100 usd now
Spain without the S
My phone hasn't been here, it's been unusually long tf
I had those sata drives for a minute anyways so I didn’t really lose anything tbh
They always deliver within an hour of status change to "on the way to your route" or something like that
But it's been a few over, ree
Bruh as soon as I decided to talk about it, the delivery guy called lmao
I use 2 in raid 0. They were $80 a TB then, the next best option was $100. They make great game drives in raid.
Back when SATA was actually cheaper than M.2
Before Chia 💀
Does raid offer like faster load times and whatnot for games then?
Basically doubles the performance of whatever drive you use,
Reads and writes in parallel on two identical drives
(raid 0 specifically)
oh wow ok
"doubles" yes but not in all ways
It's not perfect scaling because of overhead but yes there's essentially double throughput and nearly double random performance.
Yah
It takes those two (identical) crappy drives and turns them into one that beats most of the best SATA drives
would there be any benefit to using nvme in raid? Or is that possible?
I mean it's already so fast for gaming anyways
Not any real world benefit, no
Even using a gen 4 nvme vs a good sata drive you barely get any benefit
Windows load times
Assassin's creed odyssey
RDR2, you get the idea
Like a pcie gen 3 to gen 4 moment
Not enough iops needed to really leverage the speed
/limited by the os
Hey you can do a lot with that 1 second less Windows load time
I prefer long load times so I can watch more of my YouTube recommendations
I miss loading screens ngl
Not for open world games, except elder scrolls ofc because they've got lore built in
Could spin around 3d models
I crashed skyrim so many times doing that
It probably didn't help that I was on PS3 at first until I had a competent PC, which I traded the PS3 for
My current pc hates running Bethesda games
Well yeah when you've got 300GB of mods that'll happen
I’m telling you my pc refuses to run fallout 4
specs issue or does Fallout have something dumb with you
skill issue
Perhaps
I assume you've tried things like verifying game cache to reset it totally back to vanilla
Tap dat
which windows version
Windows 10, haven’t made an attempt to run it in like 2 months. I’ve verified and done vanilla yeah
It boots at like 3 fps in 360p
Sometimes…
I don't think I need an intervention yet but...
Did ur brother touch it

🗿
dontworry, I saw nothingf
bet you Bethesda releases a modded version of Skyrim with ray tracing instead of the next elder scrolls game
nah...probably another Fallout game tho
Eh they teased a elder scrolls game for like 20 years now
I do appreciate that they did the anniversary edition on the 11th anniversary for a game that launched 11/11/11
Every time I think about skyrim now I think about the "WHAT KIND OF GAMER ARE YOU?" meme

It was broken to the point of being unplayable in 2011 but hey it launched, more than we can say about ES6
I just reminisce about the adoring fan
I've heard rumblings about a new vegas remaster
Just a reminder both Skyrim and oblivion released on the Xbox 360
skyrim is essentially gta without multiplayer
Not if you do the skyrim together mod
I bought skyrim a total of 3 times

PS3 was a dumpster fire, then I had it on PC but didn't qualify for the free SE upgrade so I bought it again
Permission to Laugh at Fal in J Jonah Jameson's voice
Hey I wasn't even 20 when I got it on PS3. The PS3 that I bought with my money saved up during basic training.
I was young and dumb
Who plays GTA "properly" anyway
got a ps2 for christmas, mom lost it in the garage
Oof
We lost the family n64 in a move
I was the kid parents hate. Every time Mom tried to punish me by taking away my games I outsmarted her lol.
Take my PS2 power cord? I'll take the one from your laptop.
Put my DS in a lockbox? I learned 2 different ways to open it. The lock was a joke to pick and the hinge was exposed.
I was the traumatized kid, because all my data got wiped from my tablet TWICE, once from a total glitch reset and twice because someone threw a phone at my tablet
My parents compensated by buying me whatever I really wanted after
Sheesh I guess phone 1 tablet 0
it was a Nokia, go figure
Oh I believe it
idk why my cousins were playing catch with it, but it happened
Nah they were playing catch with it because you can't break them and that's just a challenge to kids
I used to bounce my flip phone off the pavement, ricochet off the wall, and catch it. Totally in one piece, didn't even shut off.
only phone i truly ever remember breaking was someone's old LG
my phones never broke becasue of impact
just malware
You know I think I still have that flip phone in a box, I bet it still works
oh that'd be a trip back memory lane
can you...install literally any modern apps on it?
It probably needs a new battery before anything
No it barely had internet
No wifi, only 2G
But damn I played the hell out of the included games
Snake, pool, and bowling
iPod video and bricks or w.e it was called
Hmm
@cinder kiln this hynix?
https://www.newegg.com/team-32gb/p/N82E16820331994?
Unsure. Either a lottery or likely not
It's making 500gb drives not even worth it anymore it's funny
What's the prices at this point
Like 10$ less i think
not sure where to ask this but i was gonna buy something from a third party seller on newegg who seems to be safe but im not entirely sure
this is the seller
they seem to have a lot of product sales but they only have 13 ratings
yeah
yeah i gotcha
the price was really low too so that was a small red flag
and someone told me "if it says seller is in China, do not buy it" lmao so i guess thats valid here
arctis 5 headset
i think its 70 on amazon so its still not too bad
sure
ah yeah
i was a fan of the look on arctics really
80 or under preferably
yeah
thank U
having the usb connectivitys p cool too but not really anything else lol
yeah i was using it earlier to compare the 5 to the 3
honestly yeah i think ill just go with the 7 cuz for the 20 dollar difference it has some more features and stuff
and newer (kinda)
thank u tho
appreciate the help
yeah dw, ill keep those in mind too as well
yeah ive heard good things about them
okay
thank u

i saw an asrock gpu on newegg for $200...but, i no wanna link it
Microcenter has a cpl for 199 but none of them the Gigabyte
Eagle barely even tries when it runs
dunno what makes asrock think ppl want part of a backplate...just put the whole plate on, weirdos
Super quiet card
Oh that's for better ventilation/flow-through dissipation
Asrock RX cards all look odd to me
which i get, but i also do not want to glance over and see an eyesore lol
Entry level card be cheap in it's own ways lol
i have an RTX 3060 that i paid $300 for, i am just always looking for that next deal lol
u can get a second 3060 for $300

6650xt then
there is also the 6750xt for $310, and the 6950xt for $600...
6950 XT is easily the best deal right now in GPUs
Completely crushes the same priced 4070

That's practically the break in period
It's also long enough that the 7600 XT is about to launch
(supposedly AMD is skipping the high-midrange for now and going straight for the lower midrange)
Smart
Can't really buy a 4k display if my graphics card costs 3 months salary and a blessing from its father
I don't understand wireless subwoofers
I don't understand wireless
I get wireless purely for the convenience of not having a wire get tangled everywhere I go
Cable channels are your friend. You can blend the color to your walls too.
I meant for headphones and such, speakers I am just fine with having them be wired
Oh well that makes more sense. As long as they're not bluetooth, latency is noticeable even to me, the non-audiophile
I have bluetooth headphones for listening to music and watching videos on my phone (soundcore q30) and I use hyper x cloud core wireless for pc gaming (not the best I know that but they work)
BT is fine for music because latency doesn't matter, but videos can be painful because not all apps can properly sync with the latency involved
^
It's just youtube, and most of the time it syncs just fine.
I prefer having wireless tho, more versatile and less latency
YT is known to have issues with bt latency
Sometimes though, it just breaks and has a 10 second delay for the audio
But to use it on phones they have to support usb audio
Otherwise wireless dongle won't work
I seriously don't get where this guy gets stuff this cheap #build-pics message
Demonmit? Yeah he gets insane deals
And it looks like he puts as much effort into the builds to make them look nice as he does editing the photos to look nice
I just recently made a build out of some old parts and I'm trying to sell it rn, and I'm seeing if I can make it a business and make some extra money over the summer. I know for a fact if I can get deals like he can I'll be making bank
You have to gain reputation tho
Looks are half the value. RGB and cable management can almost double the sale price.
PC looks and pic quality are half the value*
So many terrible pics of okay looking PCs
That too, get good at editing like demon does
Specs doesn't matter too much
The case I built in doesn't have much cable management space, and the cable extensions don't help with it, but I at least tried to make it look decent.
I know that, and that's why the system has a 9100f and a 6600
could be worth getting a case that you can manage really good and end up with more profit.
This is the pc (not the best photo, but the best I could do
MX330-G Air is a great case and comes with RGB fans, usually it's around $60
Well, great for the price range
def try and pull that gpu cable into the shroud more if you can
if you have cable combs.. try and even those atx cable out more
I chose the GAMDIAS TALOS E3 and it's not the best, but it was $60
Trust me, I've tried
With the side panel on you can't even see the cables because of how dark the tint is
zip ties are your friend
This case is taller than it is long, and with a massive psu and stiff cables it's really hard to do anything in the case
give it another go and really get it in there.
the cables are durable. man handle them a bit
They're copper core, soft metals bend well
I spent a good hour cable managing it, and I'm not really willing to do any more. The 24 pin cable is also really annoying since it's massive
that psu cable could be a deal breaker for getting extra money
It wouldn't be for me because I know how to cable manage, but someone buying a built PC is buying it for a reason.. They don't want to hassle with all that stuff
Fair enough, but I'll send an image of what I'm working with
plenty of room down there
There's a hard drive cage down there
nah remove it.
alr
it'll make the PC look cleaner which will get you more $.
You can always give them a little box with the extra parts you didn't use
If someone is wanting HDD storage, they'll use external or buy a bigger PC
Holy cow this is thin metal
There's a reason it's a cheap case lol
the most annoying part of this case is that all the fans have proprietary connectors
while you are back there... ❤️
I knew that would annoy someone
not annoying.. but there is a lot to be done back there xD
I'm just a cable management junky
Better?
woooweee, you went full ham on that. Good job!
Thx
Pcie cable placement, it's curved because that's where the cables come out of the psu
lots better.
it was originally listed on sale at $275, but that listing only lasted for 1-2 hrs...
its still at 290$
xfx just makes nice looking, nice spec'ed gpu's...asrock gpu designers should be forced to do an internship at xfx
Exos x18 and ironwolf pro 16tb are $240
Isn't the 6700 actually a pretty notable step down from the XT?
Roughly 10%
Oc formula
Also the 7000 series gaming one is cleann
^
That looks like a fun shroud design
Not as fun as others but still
Lines and curves go brr
we can go card for card, and most will look something like this for xfx:
and, this for asrock:
they should call it the "challenged series"
Yeah i regret getting a 6700 xt challenger d
Has good clocks and mine was a good bin but it’s loud
and, i'm not trying to crap on asrock...they catch enough heat...but, come on
Yeah
u can make inexpensive cards look hot...asrock ain't even trying
Don't feel emotions for companies pls
kinda missing my point
No I think he got it, and added another
Companies are soulless entities and don't need your compassion. Feel free to crap on them.
no...gigabyte has eagle, msi can make a decent inexpensive gpu...asrock isn't trying, and i love no companies
u guys r projecting
Yeah I get it, Asrock could put more effort in. They chose to cut every penny instead.
other companies put out cards for the same prices...eagle 6600 is the same price as asrocks
The only projection I do is at the movie house
But yeah the challenged d is definitely sad
"challenged d"

Envinda
Yeah, it's this crazy brand on Aliexress
Brazilian YouTuber Iskandar Souza and GPU repair specialist Paulo Gomes expose a new scheme involving used mining GPUs sold as new from Chinese online retailers. In order to hide the yellow tint on VRAM, cryptominers are now repainting the chips complete with realistic-looking serial numbers.
What’s wrong with this card exactly?
For one there's no such thing as a "new" RX 580 at this point
That’s not necessarily true
They were sold through when crypto took off
Possibly, but not from a no name brand
Also there's plenty of fake RX 580s that are actually older models with a reflash
Oh I just double checked which image you replied to, the 6600 challenger looks like they left half of the part of the card most people are going to see completely naked
I mean, it's a budget card.
I guess they could've spent the extra $3 it'd cost to extend the shroud
I want to see a GPU that uses a minimalistic shroud design using metal that complements the design of the heatsink assembly
So is the one above it, which looks way nicer
which one runs cooler?
It's a 6600, they're both running cool
that's really what mtters imo
the ASRock card very well might run cooler because air is allowed to pass through
The difference is within margin of error
58 vs 60 degrees under load but that's from different reviewers, so margin of error
Me with a 1080 blower hitting 100c hotspot with fans full blast in an airflow case.
Pretty sure it needs a repaste.
My blower 970 only does mid 80s
84c edge with 16c hotspot delta doesnt really sound unusual for crabby blower GPU
Yeah the tiny cooler doesn't have much to give in the way of improvement
Repasting would just mean fresh paste, no temp improvements
Maybe better quality paste?
I really don't think it matters
Def repaste, my strix 1070ti would hit high 90s untill I repasted
that's also not a blower card
Ok soo o
i have a problem if anyone wants to help
Its regarding about the build i'm doing for an upgrade
its just the GPU
@molten urchin ask away
Part List - Intel Core i7-13700K, Radeon RX 7900 XTX, Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower
soo this upgrade i'm doing but the only thing is teh GPU
i mean yess the 7900xtx is good and i look at the bottleneck on the 13700k
its abit up but then i lookin to the 4070ti and read bad reviews about it
If you're looking at a bottleneck calculator, don't. They all suck.
Ok quick question
and idk what other gpu is good for it
right now i bought the mother board, M.2 1tb the 32gb ddr ram and the CPU
its an upgrade i'm doing since i have the z390 board
right now i have ddr4
Ok so haven't bought the ddr5
i bought ddr5 board because i heard running
good
and i have ddr Ram
that i just bought
right
Is it the same kit in that list
let me put in my old build
64gb 6000 cl32
hold on
Nah it's ok
Is it that exact kit tho
Of ddr5
Just want to clarify before I give you a big list of instructions

okay
this is the old build
@cinder kiln
from the other upgrade build i'm doing are the one i'm switching
so the only thing what GPU is good for 13700k
Part List - Intel Core i7-9700K, GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER, Corsair 4000D Airflow ATX Mid Tower
my b
ok yeah
because the 7900xtx is good but i need to find what other GPU third party brand is good with it.
i know 4070ti is out of the question
right now is Sn770
Ok awesome
and i want it to go with the new Board
So one more question, what's this pc for
Gaming, Editing, Graphic design projects
Some what all the above
but Mid-High end
Alright give me a few minutes
but due to the cpu i thing Mid abit high just for performance
and its only for the GPU
i need to figure it out what is good for this upgrade build
@cinder kiln I have these and all I need is gpu.
Ok, you can keep the ram
okay
The other stuff I'd take back
And here's what I'd do
Part List - AMD Ryzen 9 7900, Radeon RX 7900 XTX
You'd save a few hundred for basically the same performance in everything
And you can still use your corsair aio
With the 13700k you'd have to replace the aio
Also that mobo albeit good costs a small fortune
For no real benefit over cheaper alternatives
The 980 pro is plagued with a firmware issue rn that's killing them left right and center. You can fix this issue by updating the firmware, but it's also just another case of not really good value
I can suggest a different mobo if aesthetics are your thing but you have a lot more budget to play with
Heck you could probably fit a 4090 if we were smart about this
I mean i heard bad stuff about AsRock though
oooohhhhh
Equal to like gigabyte
Ya they're very solid on AM5
But the big takeaway from this
You get basically 13700K perf minus a little bit, but you don't need a new cooler
A 13700k can't run on a H100i, not enough radiator to run it well
Let alone that it's old and will have not as optimal heat transfer as the newer ones
It'll run but like, not great
Lol
Meanwhile, 7900 just won't care cos it has a stupid low tdp
65W for the win
It'll run on a stock cooler if you wanted it to
also
here and addition i'll be using on my pc is streaming also
forgot to add that.
It'll handle anything you throw at it
XTX is a very good card, it's just lacking in support in a few areas due to adoption
I can change the board
One sec
i know
which is why i ask what other cards that i can use if i can't afford the 7900xtx
Part List - AMD Ryzen 9 7900, Radeon RX 7900 XTX
I mean, 7900 XT is still really nice
4070 Ti too
Idk who told you certain cards won't run but really they'll all run with this cpu
Since you're doing a build for editing I'd suggest a 4070 ti tbh
Cos nvidia has better support

When Nvidia unlaunched the 12GB RTX 4080, gamers rejoiced – But now that GPU is back as the RTX 4070 Ti. “Starting at” $799, is it the win we all hoped it would be, ...
It's not the best no
Like, a used 3090 for $650 would be better imo
i mean yeah but wanted gaming
Gaming they perform about the same
righ 3090 run better than 4070ti th ough
You wouldn't notice which is which in a blind test
Taste?
Getting tired
💀
You could do that too I guess
right true
but isn't 3090 quite abit better on 4070ti due to benchmark?
i think 3000 series was better compare to 4000 series
No, they perform about the same
4070ti is a little better
Like, maybe 5%-10%
Depends who you read from, some will say more
which is the problem. lol what read it from its there opinion
and making notes out of it.
Well the other thing is a 4070Ti costs 799 while a used 3090 can be much cheaper
Much more than 10% cheaper
depends on the third party
and also marketing for cards right now isn't all that great
Ye
compare 3090 its like 1.2k
Nah man, used market
i heard about the tuf
Almost 1k 4070ti? You'd have to be bonkers
i'm not much of used kind of guy lol due to other people using the stuff they bought and use.
All 4070 Ti are built way beyond what they are needed to do
So any 4070 Ti is good quality
Even the bad brands
/models
Etc
Cheapest 4070 Ti is the best one
If you're not warmed up to the idea then yeah I'd suggest a 4070Ti tbh
Or if you're okay with less than ideal support for stuff like blender then an XTX is a phenomenal choice imo, the asrock.card is the best and it's also the cheapest
note that the parts i have were bought on Amazon and the cpu was bought at the microcenter lol
and you told AsRock on intel doesn't goes well. gotcha
Oh you didn't get a microcenter bundle? Those are great
i was on my budget
Either way how you did it man, unless you only dropped like, 700 on the parts you've bought so far this is better
The micro center bundles are awesome yeah
That's cheap asrock motherboards usually* not their gpus
They gotta be loss leaders
Asrock Intel motherboards enforce the stock power limits and often can't exceed them without direct cooling. Every other brand goes above the Intel recommended limits.
right
Biostar
Asrock intel also has disgusting memory support rn
Which is why my limit brand for Radeon was Power color or sapphire
Biostart grabbing a fire extinguisher more like
Huh?
All radeon gpus are good enough no matter the brand
Sssoooooooo
This gen anyway and almost all last gen afaik
this AsRock gpu will be ok on Intel?
Their GPUs are fine
Yes the aibs just make the shroud/cooler basically
and red devil is kinda thicc
Your computer wouldn't be able to tell the difference between an asrock, msi, asus, sapphire or power colour
For all intensive purposes all it knows is intel amd or Nvidia
just only the 7900xtx?
And the model yes
just because its a thirdparty gpu make sense
Even first party gpus it can't tell the diff between board partners, same drivers anyway literally no difference on the software side where it could make a difference
right
Windows doesn't know
And it never will know
💀
GPU-z knows because it reads the vbios
hmmm
this info is good know
and helpful also wow
instead of stressing myself to get the power color
We try our best
you did
Ya man, the PG riptide is a higher tier of XTX than the Red Devil
It's legitimately better
i appreciate that also i'm still keeping t his build i have and taking it as a grain of salt and optimizing
Asrock gpus slap
Soo either way about the Red devil the AsRock still slap
even though its OC card
?
if i want to overclock it
and i have good case for air flow
Oc just means it has a factory overclock of like 1% if that that you could do in literally 20 seconds yourself
for example
EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 SUPER XC
If you keep the current build, two things,
#1 update your 980 pro ssd with samsung magician. The firmware issue they have is literally killing the 980 pro if left untouched
whats xc means?
#2 you'll need a new aio
Just a marketing name
Oh ok
I KNEW IT
i do need new AIO just because ofthis new CPU
Ya man, that's why I suggested all those changes lol
You can run the old one with the amd board and cpu
i mean yeah but the 3 stuff i bought was from amazon and the cpu is from microcenter lol
And I figured you'd like that cos corsair everything lolol
Corsair AIO i heard is really good
rpm is like 2400k
But if you like what you have I'll happily work with it
240mm aio?
13600k would do
this one i have now
13600K is a stretch
It'd be fine
Exactly
Unlike you this man's bought a $280 overclocking board
I actually did have oc just linusing the cpu made oopsie
So running short on the aio would be scuffed
