Why do people not like the Ito Collection anime? I mean I love his manga art and stories plus how he tries to screw with you when you turn the page. But, outside of maybe the animation style and the art itself I don't see it being that bad compared to the manga, but to me the art seems on point. The colors compliment Ito's odd style, but the animation seems like bad 80s and 90s American style.

I was going to take Norwegian, but they don't offer it here as I was planning on majoring in Ancient Civ and Mythology. However, they don't offer Scandinavia nor Norse as I'm more interest in that side of my heritage. There was Greek and they do cover the Ancient Greek's and Greek Mythology with the rest of that portion being the Romans. But, if I couldn't pick a Scandinavian language then I was going with Japanese. So, in order to do that and stay in History I pretty decided to major in Asian Studies, for anthropology, and Japanese for the language and to treat it as more than just a track.

The head of the Japanese department loves me. He's usually used to weebs trying to get into the department, but they don't realize that there's a lot more they have to learn than just pop culture. That and they don't realize how difficult Asian languages are for the Western world. I got accepted into the department after ranting about Japanese mythology to several key historical aspects, and name dropping the Four Hitokiri of the Bakumatsu.

Ya, my family came over here to the US from Norway and Croatia in the first 3 decades of the 1900s. I'm also so white you can lose me in less than an inch of snow. As for the headphones I've got AKG K712 Pros, a good DAC/AMP combo, and for speakers I have Mackie MR624s. Then my guitar and audio setup kinda pushes the audio budget from there. I have a 7 string ibanez rg I've modded lightly and a custom washburn pro series 7 string that's been modified to emulate Chris Broderick's tone using DActivator 7s by Dimarzio, which he had made with them. If you don't know who he is he's from Jag Panzer, Son's of Apollo, one of the better players Megadeth had on lead, and tours constantly with fellow guitar god Jeff Loomis. Then I have 6505 Plus 112 Guitar Combo AMP, I spent a lot on Jazz IIIs and coated strings, and yes I do play the 7 strings for the original intent. I'm trained in baroque/classical/romantic era guitar, but I do play a lot of anime themes for fun. My fav being Trigun's and oddly the DBZ Rock the Dragon theme. As for my mic I use a semi-higher end AT USB one as it makes recording easier. Still have to work on isolation, though.

Why am I sobbing in French? JYB is one of my fav dub actors, I honestly prefer him as Vash over Masaya Onosaka. I know Crispin Freeman gets hated on for his portrayal of Alucard, but I honestly prefer him too. It all depends on the role as characterization matters, and his voice fits a guy who is basically supposed to be Romanian, well technically sounds more Wallachian. The tone to the accent he puts into it match just that. It makes it seem far more realistic, and that's the dark part of it.

I liked Jouji's voice more as Amshel Goldsmith as his voice is an amazing match to the image of the character. Oh wow, he's really good in Elfen Lied too, his timing/expression/tone are spot on. o.o While his voice isn't the best for Alucard on the tone/accent side, he's really good at several other aspects that are needed for that role. I think I need to follow this guy more.
