It would automatically send the impedance of your headphones when you would turn on the Hi-Fi quad deck mode, and it would either keep your audio at the same volume for lower impedance headphones, or if you gave it big impedance headphones it would get a lot louder

Such a cool concept to build in a high quality DAC and amp into a phone

soooo update on internet situation. I hevent been able to get into main router to change chanel or check the IP Address given to second router but am assuming it is set to 10 or sum.

What I did was I plugged in my router through ethernet, and before disabling DHCP I changed my channel to 11 password, SSID ( so they dont match) and das pretty much it

They seem to be working just fine but I wanna get access to main router now so that I can check that channels arent on auto

now we basically have full coverage of the house at 5 bars. At least wifi doesnt go below 230 and 20 up so I think that should be fine for whatever it is that we are doing

So last year I set up this sort of pseudo-desktop for my mom out of an old Dell laptop and a USB hub. It worked quite well thanks to it having a gigabit Ethernet port.

A couple weeks ago though, the Ethernet port just... disappeared from Windows.

It also wouldn't detect our wifi network, but it would connect to a hotspot.

Thinking it was a driver issue, today I installed Zorin OS and it connects to the WiFi perfectly fine. However the Ethernet port is still nowhere to be seen

I've looked through the BIOS: there was an Ethernet toggle, but it wasn't disabled.

I tried enabling the UEFI Network Stack in case that makes a difference, but it's still not showing up in the OS.
