@merry pecan I know what you're talking about with the volume of the commercials. I notice it mostly with NBC, especially during Wheel of Fortune and Jeopardy. Paying for no adds doesn't change the volume boost during ads. When I had TWC/Spectrum NBC did the same thing so I don't think it's a Hulu thing.

interesting question: old pixel XL is only $97, but with lineage OS Gmicro edition i can have basically anything i want and the biggest part of android that utilizes system resources has been replaced by something much lighter, so the oldness of the phone is not a factor. Lineage will probably support it to Android 12, too

my walls for my room block the wireless from getting to my room. I have the most expensive plan with AT&T. (My mom doesn't know the speeds.) But In my room I only get like 20 mbps. With ethernet rn plugged into my Cable box, I get 90mbps

Well if you're cheap since @sturdy jolt said you're only working with 90Mbps ethernet speed you could get away with a 100Mbps rougher but if you want to future proof a bit I'd get a rougher that has dual band 2.4GHz and 5GHz and is rated for Gigabit speed.
