Remember to account for efficiency loss in the conversion from 3.7v to 5v, which is about 10-15%.

Under no circumstances should you open a power supply unless you have high voltage training and tools. If you get zapped by the bulk cap you can die.

It can take several months to a year for the bulk caps to discharge after being unplugged.

I want to understand how charging works on devices these days, now it's easy to find chargers with up to 4 output voltages, usually 5, 7, 9 and 12V... and most modern phones include fast charging features with things like 100w, and here are my questions:

• what voltage is mostly used for fast charging, 9v, 12v...?
• is there a limit you find on usb A chargers for maximum wattage output? (is usb C just more common for fast charging or is it a limitation for the usb A?)
• is it the phone that sends a signal to the charger to output the "desired" voltage?

I can't even remember all of them, I think it's 2.0, 3.1 gen 1 and 2, 3.2 gen 1 and 2, 3.2 2x2, then there is usb 4 not to be confused with thunderbolt 3 or 4, although now usb 4 is pretty similar just not all are certified as thunderbolt. there are also different versions of usb4 like gen 2x2 and gen 3x2. standard voltage for usb is 5v but some are higher and there is usually a negotiation to set it as not all devices support higher. usb c has more contacts so that could possibly be a factor in max power

Look at USB PD for power rating stuff. Afaik that's the standard most if not all high power USB devices use.

On USB PD3.1, can do max of 48v 5A for 240w.

SCP is short circuit protection, afc is some apple file thing, I assume fcp is some protection but I'm not sure

Company provided routers are usually super limited. That particular model has a locked bootloader so you can't flash custom firmware. You'd need a new router.

Most of 3d printer troubleshooting is just trial and error. Personally I would check the bed temperature and bed leveling. Having the bed too close or too far often causes issues with sticking. For custom prints you can also set offsets for the first layer

I have an i3 personally I use 60c bed temp and I usually check each corner leveling about 2-3 times but my bed is warped so I can’t get it perfectly level. Instead I keep my prints to the center of the print bed where it is close enough to being level so it can stick

Is there any way I can remove all the whatsapp media (photos and videos) from my phone gallery only if there are duplicates?
What I did is I cloned the gallery from my old phone to the new one and I also transferred whatsapp chats which basically downloaded back a lot of medias. I know google files so told be able to remove duplicates, but there's a catch, all the new medias use a different folder than the previous one so they're not recognized as duplicates... I don't even understand why the newly downloaded ones don't have the original date, they're delayed (example: media in whatsapp is from 07.08.21, and inside the phone gallery it can be something like 14.08.21)

I might have just answered my own question. I can probably just go to the new folder and delete the media from there

I've got this charger here and there are listed a bunch of standards for the two ports.
I've been using a USB C-C cable to use 25w fast charging, and I used a A-C cable for slower charging that just used ~9/10W. I then wanted to try a different USB cable (3m A-C) and with this one it started charging at ~15/16W (this is with the battery already charged at about 80%). Explanation?
Do you also need a particular cable to get different power outputs?

I thought the port's charging standards and the phone settings were enough to chose the desired output but apparently it's not...

Samsung requires a special Power Delivery standard for anything over 15 watts. Some brands like Anker meet these requirements while a lot of cheap chargers do not

If you want anything over "fast charging" you need something that supports PD 3.0, not just high wattage

Also keep in mind not all USB C cables support 9 volts, which is required for 25 watts.

Samsung uses 9 volts x 2.8 amps for 25 watt charging

Im currently using Samsung keyboard. There is something I don't really like, and I'd want to be able to do but I don't know how: by default I use my phone in light mode, and dark mode only turns on with power saving or night mode. USB PD is a power delivery standard that is becoming rather popular. For USB PD to work it needs what i think is considered an active cable, as in a cable with special circuitry inside it. So you'd need specific cables for USB PD.

OLED is the new tech on the block, and once you experience it, it's hard to go back. It's the best at everything pure and simple, but may have a shorter life.
