Yea 2x16 is a solid choice these days. Most laptop ram is just 3200c22 or certain other speeds & easy to find. It's often called a so-dimm & about 1/2 the length of normal desktop ram, just so ya know.

You can make hwinfo poll the data more frequently but it will increase the resource usage to do so
