Hello hello, I hope im in the right area for this question but I have this b450 gaming pro carbon AC and with its 2 M.2 SSD spots I was curious what type of M.2s are compatible. I tried putting my cruxial mx500 in the lower slot after installing the MB and had to set up the boot and in that spot it didnt seem to work, but with the top slot it worked immediately. So i would like to know what SSD works with both the slots and where each one would work best. I think of getting an NVME next instead of just the M.2 like I have. On top of that, I read that putting certain types of SSDs like the m.2s in the top or bottom position would deactivate the SATA's. Is that true and if so can I get the specifics of that so I potentially do not lose any access to more memory

Hi guys how to know if my motherboard is bricked?

I have a 4000D airflow with Corsair SP120 fans in the front.. the dust protector in front of the case is hitting my fan and makes a REALLY loud fan noise everytime i put my dust filter on its good until i put the cover back on then it makes the sound again.. i rather not take off the dust filter.. i have 2 huskies and rather not have a bunch of fur in my pc

long context but I bought this second hand from a fb ads the guy saying it was brand new and he didnt even use the board to install anything yet. After we start putting everything in and turn on the pc we have rgb, fan, aio running but no light on keyboard,mice and output to monitor. Also notice that after i take everything apart i see some bended pin on the cpu so im returning the cpu today. Other than that I also try to update bios without anything installed. The BIOS light light up flash for 3 second and freeze

Well apparently its a common issue and they have replacements now that I check but I don’t have the receipt i got it Christmas 2020 and my mom had gotten it for me at bestbuy.. so I don’t know if they will still replace it

they might just send you out a new mesh filter instead of whole new case, ive had no problems with my 4000d airflow, granted i have arctic p12s instead, mightnt hit it anyway

you might just need different fans. i heard of the same stories, and heard people switched the fans and it worked. it has something to do with the fans static pressure on the filter

I have Sys Fan headers and CPU Fan, and JRGB which is for lights

Well the middle fan i HAD to plug into the cpu with the aio fan in a splitter because i ran out of sys fan slots on my mobo.. and the middle fan is going like 7-900rmp and my normal fans are going 5-600rpm

yeah you would need to update bios using the flashback feature on the motherboard, if you search for "flash" in the manual it will bring you do the flashback section eventually and it will show you steps on how to do it
