question i have a msi x470 gaming plus mb and i just bought uni al120 fans with controller for case. am i able to use that with out connecting to a argb header on mb cuz i only have a jrgb 4 pin

If it's still "an" rgb header it should still work even if the colors/lights end up limited. All mobos vary, so I'm not 100% sure. (I meant limited vs full "addressable rgb) edit!

Yes, done that a few times. And I've ignored how a bios update might possibly mess up an os.

So how do I go about BiOs updating? Just get the file on a flash drive and plug it in and go to the Q flash?

Pretty much. I've just gone into bios w/ flash drive plugged in then gone to a certain spot and selected the drive. Remember my mobo is 8 yrs old so...lol. that sort of "ez update" q flash way is ptobably pretty simple. Idk if bios file has to be alone on a usb or not
