2. download latest graphics driver
3. once both downloads are done, disconnect from internet
4. run DDU
5. select GPU under device type on the right side, it will default to AMD. keep that
6. press "clean and restart" on the left side
7. once it reboots, run radeon driver installer. don't be surprised if pc boots with low resolution or monitors besides the primary possibly not displaying, since it's forced to run on basic compatibility drivers until you reinstall

had to edit that a bit lol wrote it for an nvidia user first

Pretty simple find the overclocking section in the drivers or download msi afterburner and slide the power setting all the way to the right, up core clock in like 50mhz intervals until it crashed in a 3d mark timespy run(3rd demo on steam for free) then once it crashes, dial it back 25 until it's stable, then do the same with memory

DVI adapters in particular are tricky because you need to know what port you have, DVI-I or DVI-D, so you know which type of adapter you need. If it's Digital, a straight cable adapter works, but Interlaced needs an active converter.

so i was recommended to use 3600 c16 ram with an i7 12700k, to really get some good use out of the cpu. Since i think it was originally meant for ddr5, but some ddr4 can be just as fast.
