Rn i check tolerances of every engine block we get from the company that make the billet parts. They talked about getting a machine to do that on the job site and them giving me a responsibility to build a computer to handle it and me expanding what i do as an intern can also lead to me just straight up getting a job because i would be checking tolerances and making engine parts with a 3d machine

Those NVME PCIe expansions use 4 lanes but are sized up to fit in a x16 slot in order to be put in without needing to also use a slot of the case PCIe slot covers, they don't actually use 16 lanes. PCIe 3 is backwards compatible with PCIe 2, but as others have said, don't bother with it if you want to use PCIe 2 for an NVME drive, it isn't worth it

My main thing is just that I've been away from Windows OS since somewhere around 2013 so I really don't know what the comparisons are anymore or what I'd need for like... Protective software.

I know Windows had this big revelation that people don't like overpaying for virus software and whatnot but one of the main draws to Apple at the time was that I didn't have to deal with getting ripped off by places like Avast or McAfee

A lot of this is opinion from here on
Alphacool and EKWB have good GPU blocks, EKWB and Watercool have good CPU blocks, Alphacool makes good radiators, Bitspower fittings, Noctua D5 is a great pump/reservoir combo, I like EKWB Cryofuel for fluid, tubing is up to preference mostly (clear, solid color, frosted, hard, soft... too many options)
FANS, that's what I forgot! Arctic P12 are really good budget fans but if you want to spend more Vardar fans are awesome

Just get the kit i sent you, motherboard max ram speed is not really relevant on Ryzen as Ryzens ram speed is limited by something else you don't need to worry about called the infinity fabric, just get the 3200mhz ram i linked you, that should be supported anyway as the system comes with 3200mhz ram

Try cap fps, then do all the basic csgo optimization stuff, but unless they sold you that pc pretty cheap they ripped you off with the cpu
