There are certain type of modes a group of storage devices can be run in referred to as the various types of raid. Raid support means it is capable of being run in those modes, with specific ones being designated as supported.

raid 1 is 2 drives but you can see and write to only one of the 2 but all data written to that drive also writes to the other drive so you dont lose data

raid 0 is half data goes to one drive and half goes to the other and together they become one big boi drive
