I think it might be warning you about the CPU having been over-temp before and wants you to fix that. A cmos clear will clear error history.

I think the cpu connecters are worse. Any time I have to do anything regarding them I have to shove my hand into a tiny corner to try and get them out or unscrew the motherboard to get access to them
