Well, to be fair, I won't be needing to much space, as its more of just to allow my laptop to run again, since I play my games through GeForce Now(practically every single game), especially since the laptop has a integrated graphics card,
As I'm also saving for an actual gaming laptop(would've gone for a desktop, but lack of space makes that hard)

not really a build but I'm getting a new used laptop later today

It's a ThinkPad E14, with an NVMe and 1x16GB of RAM. I'll be checking the keyboard for broken keys, the screen for scratches, the battery health with Lenovo Vantage, and that the RAM is actually 16GB with Task Manager.
Anything else I should check for? I plan to wipe the Windows install and upgrade it to Arch once I get home.

So my dads work laptop has HDMI out

He uses a 4K monitor @30hz, but it's set to 1080p

When he switches the resolution to 4k, the screen goes black every time he changes windows

#

and when he opens the start menu the screen will go black

#

For now we will stick with 1080p but does anyone have any ideas why this is happening
