Wouldn't a 5500 be better than 960
ye
Probably
You'd be fine on medium
So much better than a 960 lol
Could you guys sub to my YT

Put it there and we'll think about it
lmao
Reason: Bad word usage
there was a ping
me. my b for vulgar words but i lost the cover for my storage
the m.2 cover thing? not necessary
nah for the card that came in the box
you don't really need to cool a pcie 3.0 drive anyways as long as there's some airflow
assuming 980 not 980 pro
just 980
i thought it did
the sticker?
nah
there's no cover
so i just gotta put the screw in m that’s it?
plug it in, screw it in (make sure standoff is there so you don't bend the drive), and you're done
bet. lemme hook up thr functioning psu and pray. if this fixes it i am going to be in eternal bliss
no. so many random weird problems
just something to try, m.2_1 is disabled for z590 boards with 10th gen chips
now my gpu doesn’t wanna go in... i am too tired to be doing this but i need answers
i had to give the latch a litte kiss for it to open all the way. NOW it should go in
we good
Is it booting?
no i just got the card in. gimme 5 minutes to wrestle with my 24 pin connector while i swap psu’s. its unbelievably tight
The pains of pc building
fax.
Good luck
thank you brother
24pin is just always notoriously hard to plug in or take out
i learned that the hard way
still showing no signal :/
and my gpu keeps turning off again omg
this gpu turning off randomly is the exact reason i bought a dif psu bc i only found out the ne650 is trash after i bought it
hm, reset cmos again, this time, plug in only 1 stick of ram in slot 2
and also, re-install a-gf if you can xD
add me and i’ll show you what a-gf is doing. it’s not good
will do
you should level up pretty soon and be able to send videos
i hope so
upload limit to this server is much higher than default upload limit
8mb is pain for uploading videos
gotcha. i just needed 2 seconds. it is constantly in a cycle of power on power off. my lights were flickering, fans on and off, and a tick noise every time it repeated. power would be on for .5 a second, leave for a second, repeat. all plugs were seating correctly
sounds pretty normal for just not booting issues
pretty normal for it to just turn on, then off, then on, then off when I mess up in memory oc for example
try to clear cmos via battery method, and for longer, make sure the PC is unplugged from wall when clearing cmos
when i clear cmos i always just pop the battery
What's a good 750w psu
supernova ga?
@turbid viper
Actually have the Asus Strix Pink and Razer Pink Keyboard/Mouse/Mouse Pad sets.
Also have a White Herman Miller Logitech chair to go with. just making it for the Carolina Games Summit we are partnering with in August
thank you for the help. ig i’ll come back here tmr
Ok so i bought this https://www.amazon.com/Motherboard-Speaker-Desktop-Computer-Internal/dp/B079DKDSJ9/ref=mp_s_a_1_6?dchild=1&keywords=troubleshooting+buzzer&qid=1626832688&sr=8-6 to test out what is wrong with my pc whether it's my CPU or GPU but it doesn't beep.
its fine
pull the gpu out, see if it still doesnt boot
if it still doesnt boot, then theres something else wrong that isnt the gpu
@viral ore it beeps when I unplug the GPU
I just bought a rtx 3070 ore build and the other parts kinda suck how can I upgrade them knowing there compatible
what are the other parts
5950x 3600 cl16 ram with a x570
What are the other parts?
Any thoughts on Check this out on @royal pelican: ABS Master Gaming PC - Intel i7 10700F - GeForce RTX 3060 - 16GB DDR4 3000MHz - 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD - Windows 10 Pro 64-bit https://www.newegg.ca/abs-ali533/p/N82E16883360138?Item=N82E16883360138&Source=socialshare&cm_mmc=snc-social-_-sr-_-83-360-138-_-07242021 Versus Check this out on @royal pelican: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC - Intel i7 10700F - GeForce RTX 3070 - 16GB DDR4 3000MHz - 1TB M.2 NVMe SSD https://www.newegg.ca/abs-ali473/p/N82E16883360058?Item=N82E16883360058&Source=socialshare&cm_mmc=snc-social-_-sr-_-83-360-058-_-07242021
Particularly is it worth it to go up to the 3070? Seems like cooling is an issue for the second.
abs builds are good
Nah, it wouldn't be much of an issue. Just a lil toasty for the cpu, besides the case in that 3070 one does have some small vents on the side for front panel, while the first has none. Only glass front
So I'd say 3070 all the way
3070 is def worth the 100$ extra
And abs builds are nice quality
Thanks for the feedback
Np:)
^
Lmao that was the lowest effort ^ x)
lmao
best specs (i have a budget of $3K)
@hollow socket elaborate..?
Already dealt with, they posted in about 4 diff channels
lol
Pato to the rescue
Change CPU cooler, ssd, and hdd
why ssd? and hdd is good tho
Ssd has bad random mixed IO, so I'd go p31 if that's a good price in your country rn
And I'd switch out that hdd for a western digital 5400rpm one
I think pato helped you with the build before
He did?
Probably
ssd is good
it's only decent
sn750 rnd perf is below average
not bad, but could be better
its still good similar as sansung
samsung
P5 plus
optane is speed
let's hope it doesn't get even hotter than p5
Lol yeah
yikes
that's scary
But it still has original speed ratings on it lol
i like how pny silently changed an ssd's life ratings
Lol
Wha- the ssd i chose is good tho
again, below average rnd perf
Ye
not that it's bad, it's just not great
yeh
Hell, doesn't a sn550 even beat a sn750 in rand?
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/MXnnz7 do this instead, the same on i sent to you yesterday but ¯_(ツ)_/¯
i daily wd green
I daily floppy disks
but far better than using hdd on windows
I boot off my 1 rpm hdd
i dont like the choice of urs, thanks tho
Why???
now time for me to just sleep
I made improvements to cooler, ssd, hdd and the 750w is 5£ more v worth
enough ssd talk and coping with my ssd
rahter have sn750
same HDD I chose
cpu cooler, i might think of ur choice
Thats pretty much it
I mean do what you want
But a 212 on a 5600x will thermal throttle like hell
Lol
which ?
The hyper 212
hyper 212
The sn750 is worse and more expensive, its not the same hdd you choose? And the cpu cooler is way better for a small bit more, if you wanted a 212 black equivalent cooler get the gammaxx 400 or id cooling se 224xt or vetroo v5, all better choices and cheaper
it's barely better than stock
oh yh im not confifrnt of that cpu cooler
212 is literally more than a decade old now afaik
confident
Is there even a gammax 400 black?
212 plus was from 2009
I've never seen it lol
yikes
There's gammax gt or whatever
Mot that ik of? But didn't realize they were going for a black build
Hm idk
yeye
how come sn750 is bad. i chose Seagate Barracuda Compute 2 TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ( its good tho) yea im getting 5600x and cpu cooler is the thing im thinking on
Weve told you 20x why that SSD is bad
if you think it's good, can you elaborate on why you think it's good
Tbf the 212 black is an improvement but still overpriced
Ye the fan on it is p nice atleast
i used to think 212 was good
Super silent
It has terrible random(real life perf), also Seagate drives are meh, the wd blue is a better overall choice
would not blame it in seagate as a whole, but just seagate consumer drives are wacky, they don't disclose cmr or smr and such
@dense sparrow
That barracuda 2tb is smr for sure
Ohh yeah the server drives are fine but the consumer ones are bleh
@dense sparrow simpler to understand loading time chart here for why other drives over sn750
and ye, seagate is still decent, but cmr can be nicer
Sn550 is just better in majority of scenarios
I wouldn't dwell as much on the hdd than on the ssd
^
still good
lower the bettere
uh
Red is sn550 not sn750
uh oh some people have a few screws rattling in their head
You'll notice the diff more here @dense sparrow
I want it to take 3 hours to run testmem5, the way it was supposed to be done
Undervolt hdd to 1rpm
oh ok, its just few sec longer
I won’t get in the argument, but thinking a sn550 is better than a sn750, something is seriously wrong with you and you may want to see a doctor
Why shoot yourself in the foot and pay more?
excuse me what
Explain how sn750 is better
I'll be waiting
@dense sparrow sn750 is also more expensive than the sn550 YOU'RE PAYING MORE FOR A WORSE SSD BRUH
fr
Sn750 1tb is around $105 when on sale
sn750 is better for peak seq and sustained
sn550 doesn’t need dram
sn750 is worse?
heck
Sn750 gets curb stomped lol
keep throwing graphs around buddy. You can literally get a sn750 1tb for $100
Yes that's what we've been saying the past 10 minutes
it’s a 980 pro you mongol
and sn550 at ~90$
go run tm5 on that 2tb 3200c22 kit lmao
Lmao what
Same with a 1tb sn550, sometimes even cheaper
i mean is why
likee
and depending on your work load, that $10 is a hell of a improvement
you guys are not thinking logically
depending on the workload, which here will not use seq
if just gaming, it’s still fine
Reason: Bad word usage
No
who cares
For any normal person, the main thing that matters on storage is loading time
literally who cares
Rand sucks on 750
ooh we getting heated over ssds huh
so why don't you want faster loading times on a cheaper drive
Couple reasons but it targets sustained workloads better than burst, it's burst(regular day use,) is fairly wack
Someone says sn750 is better than sn550 for gaming kek
Trying to explain rand situation
take a look at newmaxx or literally anything
sn850 best budget gaming drive
750 gets curb stomped
Sn750 is better than sn550 for anything, but if you’re just gaming, ofc it’s not better for the price
but if it’s literally $10 more
who cares
legit who cares
yeaa ofc and keep in mind IM GETTING THEM IN SALE GUYS
the evidence they showed explicitly proves that sn750 is not better than sn550 at everything
tomshardware isn’t always right but alright
sn550 is better at pure gaming
Nope 750 sucks on rand
wha
Literally every other independent tester would come back with same results
bruh
Real life sn750 sucks compared to sn550
personally i don't care if my game takes 1 second longer to load but if i'm doing nothing but gaming i'd just get the sn550
real life? am i in heaven
idk lol
and i have a gen 4 drive
Compared to synthetic non realistic benchmarks
Real life as in everyday use
^
Same but no point paying 30£ more for a drive that will load them slower
for fun, directly quoting Newmaxx
listen sn750 is still good andf its few dollar diff than sn550
my gen 4 drive obliterates sn550 in benchmarks/anything sustained but i honestly wouldn't be surprised if the sn550 beats it in gaming
hehe
Oh funny thing, have you heard of crucial a new gen 4 coming out?
newmaxx doesn't really talk about gaming things in the discord
i have not
P5 plus
mostly about ssd componet things
But why would you spend more for a worse drive 🤦
It's prolly gonna suck worse than p5 lmfao
its not a "worse drive"
what's wrong with the p5?
Everything
@dense sparrow if you're fine with paying more money while losing out on some rnd perf, you do you.
If you really want a sn750, we can't stop you
It is for your use
Random write is pretty bad on p5
either drive is 'good enough'
im still thinking abt why u guys saying sn750 is bad like its just ok
but it's certainly not worse overall
Yes this is my point
we don't like ok
we like best
but either drive is good enough
what
make your own choice
honestly yall should just let it go i don't think their mind is going to change lol
it's like h510 buyers
Why pay more for okay when you can pay less for better
too lazy to say any more
either drive is good enough
True true
mhm there we go
i wonder how miserable it would be using an sd card as your boot drive and game drive
H510, R5 3600, b450 tomahawk, barracuda 2tb, sn750, hyper 212 RGB buyers lol
top it off with a $900 rtx 3060
Yup
too lazy to say any more
And some crap psu
no
you don't understand the bandwagoners
Which are decent enough
they will see their 3600 + 3060 system that draws 300 watts
and decide that the perfect psu would be rm850x
MuH fUtUrEpRoOfInG
But they need a RGB psu
Or more futureproofing
Ax1600
Should be enough for a better gpu someday
1200w rtx 6090 tie 😳
wall plug directly to gpu
vrms have to handle 230v to 1v conversion lmao
Thermaltake rgb psu
Gotta also have a ups so you can finish your game of fortnite if power goes out
Need industrial ups
And backup generators
dude
Nananana it's gotta be like an aregemae 200w psu
someone in build pics upgraded from 2080 super to 3070ti
i really hope they did not pay above msrp
Lol
Bruh
Considering 3070 roughly= 2080 ti ;-;
Yup
Like worlds fattest sidegrade
Yeah lol
and 3070ti is like 4% better than 3070
Better rtx ig if they really wanted it
But 3070 ti is like max 4% better than 3070
i just hope they got near msrp
Same
inb4 they paid $1200 for that lmao
Scratch the not
They prolly sold that 2080s for like a million tho lol
Sips they also have a kraken so don't set your standards too high
to where?
In the crappy reluctant i wont change build even tho like all should be changed ;-;
the joke list
which list
the people buying 3600, b450 tomahawk, and hyper 212 in 2021
they are also spending $160 on a 970 evo
clunky runs away as had a h212 black in list

dont worry
im not getting that
did he have an nzxt h510
No actually a p400a
there is hope
There is
phanteks good
And at least the h212 back isn't as bad as the og h212
Or they have AC
Lol
ryzen cpus idle HOT
^
My 3600 doesnt
I got i7-10700 to idle at 18c all core with no thermal paste and stock fan curves
Damm wth
my 5600x goes as high as 65c idle on 360mm aio with thermal paste lmao
That's like ambient?
ambient was 17c
1c above ambient
intel cpus are way more efficient at idle
I see my 5800x idling at like 30 watts
while i7-10700 can idle at 3 watts
damm thats low
igpu was disabled
but I would expect it to use less than 1 watt idle
with 1080p60 monitor
if only intel could learn to be as efficient at load ;-;
I managed to get 3600x to idle at 25c
but it took 100% pump speed and all 8 fans at 100%
and power saver mode on to lock it to 1.7ghz
at like 0.7v
honestly in gaming intel is not nearly as behind as they are in workstation loads
I was looking at 11700K vs 5800X
consistently like 50% higher power draw in gaming
150W vs 100W
still not good but better than the 400W 11900K meme
450W 10900k better
just hope their new leadership gets them back in the right direction
Yeah they are nowhere near tr cpus or epyc
this gen has shown us firsthand that AMD is going to jack up prices as long as intel is behind lol
Hiring a new ceo pog hopefully
alder lake leaks look incredibly promising
At least it has 2 more cores lol
Does intel even have a 64 core cpu?
maybe my next upgrade will be raptor lake
Don't think so
technically you can get more cores with xeon than with epyc
it'll cost... a lot more though
epyc can only dual socket afaik
If they dont call it velocityraptor imma riot
while xeons can octa socket
wats the best bang for ur buck gpu. coming from a 1080 btw
Sticking with the 1080
3060ti isn't enough of an upgrade from 1080 imo
3060 ti but stick with 1080 tbh
so just straight to 3080
pog
or stick with the 1080
3080tie
3080 it is
I would stick to the 1080 tbh
8 pins or 6?
Still very capable as a cpu
8
And you need multiple
so you know what model you can get
kk
Daisy chain not recommended
strimers are 2x8 or 3x8 only lol
they don't sell individual 8pin strimers and they sure as hell don't daisy chain
that would ruin the aesthetic
Ideal world? Yes. Current market? No.
if you're mining and not too scared to pad mod then no
nah im just gaming
got it
just try not ventus
whatever you can get at a good price
yep
Wat u mean? 2 or 3 separate cables?
Nah
I get it now
somehow I managed to plug the eps cable the wrong way around, putting the end that is supposed to go in the psu in the motherboard. The pins lined up perfectly. I realized this mistake before powering on the machine. Does this mean that everything will work properly?
if you didn't send power to it you're fine
only one way to find out
ok thank you
true
it causes a problem when you send voltage where voltage doesn't belong
if you didn't power it on then that didn't happen
also, wow that psu manufacturer is irresponsible
lol
yeah
ok so I have one more question
Go ahead
I also purcheed cable extensions and the pcie extension does not fit well with the pcie cable from the power supply
are they non standered?
What cable extensions you buy?
because there is a bridge on the pcie cable from the power supply, where there is no space for a bridge between two of the pins on the extension
they were cablemod psu cable extensions
wait no
they weren't cablemod
they were from microconnector
Hmm
Got a pic of both of those?
ok one sec
Ight
ill dm them to you because I cant post pictures
Ight
someone help me fix this
What controller, what driver are you using, is that Windows 10? Details please
You have Steam right? Do you know how to set up the Steam driver?
You were obviously taught by Newegg discord server members
So yes its good?
So good?
if you had an i5-11400, b560, and ballistix ram it'd be a blackout
i5-11400 gaming performance is practically identical
Don’t forget the SE-224
@earnest olive so can you edit that list to what your suggesting? I dont want to ruin it
anyone know a full video of someone build a pc correctly? imma need to know eventually.
this bingo is actually kind of hard to make
if you want upgrade options might as well go Z590 UD
it's probably the same price or cheaper
i wouldn’t go with b560
yeah try to get a z590 or sum
imma go to bed y’all g’ night
Ofc I found one that's white...
i wouldnt recommend the 500d
you have to manage your cables very well if you want it to close
pinned by popular demand
Well I plan on managing my cables but do you think it's worth the price difference from 400d to 500d
Ohhh pro
depends on what you're looking for
if you want more looks and a more "modern" design template, 500d
if not, then 400d
im gonna play it with your list
i had an nzxt h710i
big mistake
nzxt hub didnt even work
it'd "overvolt"
then stop fans from running
Ouch
was premium
Ihttps://pcpartpicker.com/list/gZTYsX
How much 3080 really need. Because sometimes nvidia just set it super high requirements. Maximum peak 3080 can do? Pair with 5600x
850w psu should be fine
sadly you did not get a bingo
"I ONLY WANT AMD" is not just owning an amd cpu
850 really?
it's actively paying more for an amd cpu when an intel cpu would have been cheaper AND better for your use case
@earnest olive any chance you could review this and tell me if there are any changes you would make? Or maybe edit the list so I can see exactly what your talking about https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gZTYsX
i don't have bingo either
@subtle halo whats your cpu, mobo, gpu, ram, ssd and hdd if you have
You should add "Mobo more expensive than cpu"
Isn't 9k series on lga 1151 or sumthin?
idk the chipsets for intel really, not much anymore nor the boards for it so thats probably wrong
lga 1151
yes
Yeah
z590 is what?
Z590 and z490 are 1200 lol
ah
Won't fit
ye\
It confuses me? Your mobo is literally what connects all of your parts you would think getting a good mobo would be important. I think of it like the mobo is the body of the build and let's say for example the cpu is just an organ idk I just think I guess it doesnt matter if mobo more expensive @desert gulch
@subtle halo should be around 600-700 watts
with 5600x and 3080
and your other components obv
Thanks
Asus recommend psu table
Deym 850 i9
XD
Also r9
Clearly that's with power limits in full effect, because we all know Intel really uses a lot more than that
Maybe it draws more on load
So 850 still not enough
More poweeeeer
If you go and disable Tau limits and max it out you can do 250W easy, maybe 300W in some cases, just from the CPU
10k watts lol
136w deym
i would try 4.6 ghz on my cpu
but
i have an amd stock cooler
it will not end well
Hahaa imagine if he manage to do 100% of 10kw
Isnt that the same watts from transformers
That delivers power to houses
Or more maybe
Auto Boost error?
Thats new one
dont even know
Looks like a good result to me
wasnt a stble profile
yeah, i didnt know that one
ty
alright
attempt number 2
Will new Nvidia and amd gpus aim for efficiency soon?
5nm gang both of them?
Intel and amd both have shown interest in 3nm
Amd might skip 5 entirely
https://i.imgur.com/hixrZoC.png wow, this error i just got
is audio based, but caused by OC
ok
The question is can the foundries reliably make this design with as few reject units as possible and in the scale that they need?
I have very little faith in intel
But they both expressed interest in tsmc 3nm processing so who knows
Intel would prolly just wait for 2030 before releases a 7nm processor
Or 7700 xt
"Interest" sure, I'm interested in getting a quote for a car I could never afford the upkeep on too
They can't do that on their slide that year is 1.5nm
Lol
Well Intel is definitely true 10nm for 12th gen so it's a step in the right direction
Apple wants it for the efficiency to improve M1 (or whatever the new ones will be called) battery life
Oh its 1.4
No more 14nm++++++
🙏
But they make this slide :(
they wasted our time!
The 10nm kinda delayed
2019 but 2022 released
Or end of 2021?
Is i12 called icelake?
The benchmark of intel in laptop is kinda bad.. I hope in actual pc its nice
Well its leak benchmark we dont know
You say that now but 12th gen engineering samples are going around, and it looks NICE
You mean the big/little cores thing?
Yeah that's the big/little cores. The "little" ones are more power efficient, don't have hyperthreading, and are used for light duty stuff. The "big" cores are more like traditional CPUs, high power and hyper threaded.
Intel has been pretty loose on the leaks, probably on purpose to generate hype, so I'm sure we'll get performance data as soon as qualifying samples are released
yea
An i5
I always feel below i7 is entry level
An i5 228w alone
Yup, an i5 that's pulling over 200W, probably 250W real world, before Tau comes and drop kicks it
Sheeeeesh
That definitely should use AIO
I wonder if they'll include a cooler at all?
Can prebuilts even use these lmfao
Sheesh the dino cooler they have
Probably
Hahaha
That cooler dint Change since my core2 duo days
Did you see the recent GN prebuilt video where they literally took the Intel cooler, welded a metal slug on the bottom as a spacer, and put it on a 5600X?
Hahaha they have to sacrifice not to use xD cheap psu
I think it was the Alienware one
I wonder if 12VO will get more popular this next gen?
Whats that
T'was
It's an ATX form factor where the PSU only supplies 12v power and the mobo handles conversion
It's REALLY easy to get 80+ plat level with 12VO units
So easy Dell did it
Sata power n all that jazz will come off the mobo, cable management nightmare
Or, new design opportunity
Hopefully
Yeah it's been around forever, just needs to push into the main market
I could see some sort of single cable solution providing power and data off the mobo for sata
Would be nice
@weak anvil budget? Also have you bought that 3070 yet? If not you're not getting for 600$ extremely unlikely
Market is going down
@potent portal
I think multi rail is bad for power hungry hardware such as gpu and cpu. Since each rail now have more limited amp limit. If one exceed the psu just shutdown. Corsair demo it . Enabling multi rail then all connectors now have 40A limit. Then he tried to put 50A on one of the cable.. the psu just shutdown.
And getting them for retail is getting easier by the week
My budget is like 2k
But
I wanna spend up to 1850 only
On the pc
It's not really
You're trading power potential for safety, that's the trade. You might need to get more Wattage to compensate on multi rail.
In Asia gpus are being sold for Msrp and below in some cases
The market still hadn't gone down tho, it's gone back up also crypto hasn't crashed enough
It has already affected the us market a bit
The stonk gaming monie market is going depression bullish market cap gains
That's a small, temporary effect
Believe me I'm an economist
Yeah thats why i saw lot of multi rail 1000w+
(can you get arrested for self proclaiming as an economist
)
(No just Internet shamed if you get exposed)
If one of u just get this at 23/7/2021 nice
Cards no longer crashing as much in the scalp market, however supply is getting better. Just gotta try harder
Dexe and coin98 just did 180+% everyday this past 2 days i wonder if the trend still on
@weak anvil https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Rp7RcT imo you should do this, no point in going uni fans for just the back and top of the case, you can grab some p12 rgb for that if you want
WHAT
Oh I'm an architect. Just not in architecture.
I'm an architect of chaos.
Omfg did I miss that
JEJEJEJWHABABSHEJSBZNSNAKJDJF
$$$$$
Nope lol, prices had a tiny dip in Europe and asia but have shot back up
^
Scalper prices went down a little but only down to x2.5 price instead of x3
Why does is sound 2.5 is a bargain
Bahahahaha
You can find a 3070 on eBay for $1000 now lol
Ouch
Only 2x msrp wow
Gotta love it
Probably because it's LHR but, ya know
I just want my sweet 3080FE
Them picks are looking a bit too professional for my liking of ebay lol
Sus
The seller has 99.1% and over 48k reviews
Hmmm
Ok, Palit GPUs are alright? Right
Yes that's a real brand, not a horrible one too
Yea ok, one of my engineering buddies just ask since he's importing a Palit 3070 from Taiwan apparently
iirc they don't sell in USA so you probably didn't hear about it for that reason
Yeah they don't sell in the us
Yea, they have neat designs
Its popular in asia
Better ssd way better aio, 360mm is a lot better than 240mm
And reduced the amount of fans you had
Imho use the 2 stock but if you want more fans use just 2 p12s, positive pressure is better, ie more in than out better , lest dust
You could always leave the RGB unplugged I guess, I'd have gone with the Liquid Freezer for minimal RGB build
THIS IS GOLD. IMMA DO THIS EVERY SINGLE TIME XDDD
sheesh
you know only amd could also go mid at this point
Lmaoooooo
Can we get that pinned
but idk if it belongs in the pins of this channel
it's a bit sillier than the other pins lol
Just a tad lol
make sure you ping me if you ever encounter a chaotic evil
just a lot
heck, or a chaotic neutral
lmao
i want to bask in the chaos
im kind of hoping there will never be a real chaotic neutral lmao
no ssd is pain
Indeed
not as pain as buying 3600 for $260 and smashing it into a z390
true chaos
Z290?
WHA
yes but how
does that happen
i mean i've seen people in here before ask about b560 board for amd
and i've seen someone try to smash a 2700x into a z390 board
it can happen

motherboard is motherboard right?
Love the, what motherboard can i use for either cpu
Motherboard pffft, waste of money no extra performance, just use no motherboard
just plug it in
universal motherboard pog
LOL! Let me know when you figure how to pull that one off.
Looking a current spec sheets makes me miss the days when amd and intel used the same sockets.
Pin it in general
Its just 2 sockets for current gen
ROFL I started building when the PentiumII was new on the market. Duel Xeons were almost unheard of then.
Fine I'll do it myself
the guy I saw on facebook that literally hammered ryzen 7 2700x into intel z390 mobo probably misses it more than you do
you could see a hole in that poor cpu
OMG! i NEED TO FIND THAT NIGHTMARE!
That hurts my soul
ditto
Pity. sounds like a handy "what to not do to a pc" teaching tool.
Debating what cpu to get for my next build.
what do you do with it
Some mild gaming, and a bit of sound editing.
I've run intel for years, with good outcomes. However I haven't built a new system in about 5 years now.
im so confused why 11th i7 only has fking 4 cores
Well I'm guessing they rushed the 11th gen to marker before it grew up.
clap clap
Would love to see the current amd audio editing workload stats.
...what?
it's 8 cores 16 threads
sound editing depends largely on which software you use
some software favors intel some favors ryzen
It will be a Ubuntu os when I'm done, so more cpu based.
