Although I'm not sure if you need special hardware. From what I've read a sec ago because I was curious it actually depends on the mainboard, some do some don't.

Random question, I have an A/O pump when has a 3 pin connecter while the motherboard needs a 4 pin to run smoother. My PC throws an error code, but I have found a way to work around it. 240mm be the smallest you should get on most builds, 360 if you have the room and money, 140 or 120 only if you buy a very small case. 420 isn't worth it in most situations and 280 is a compromise between 240 and 360, but some cases don't support them

Tried that fan setup I asked about
Definitely too many for one header. Half the fans didn’t even light up and most of them wouldn’t function with lighting properly(individual LEDs not lighting or changing etc)

@vague oracle when/if you manage to get in again, straight away do General fix for random windows problems
From an admin command prompt or powershell, run:
sfc /scannow
If that doesn't work, try:
dism /online /cleanup-image /checkhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /scanhealth
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
Then, try running sfc again.
Repeat as necessary

The Ethernet cable is fine, it works with my laptop perfectly
SFC /scannow doesn’t pick up anything is wrong
Disabling/enabling both Ethernet drivers does nothing
It ain’t the board since it worked for like 20 minutes

i have a very odd case. 3060, 10600k, z590-p. i had a ne650w psu that would power everything fine but not show anything on display. bought a msi a650gf psu and now my pc power keeps turning on and off repeatedly. all connections are good. i did touch the mobo a lot when building bc i’m new to this. what could be the issue? i reset cmos and ram position and such many times
