so the issue was your custom loop leaked coolant all over the parts or something?
and 2 my brother broke one of my PC i built
yes
and the 3 PC i brunt on accident.
How
How
how tf do you burn a pc
cause i was lighting a candle next to my pc and it tiped over..
Why would I do that
did you not have a case
...
What happens to the carpets
and then i came back and it was brunt
how did you not realise it tipped
Same
huh/
because i left the room..
Do u have carpet in ur house
noo
but you must have had it hanging off your desk r something
Ok
Warranty?
nope
nah burning your pc is not under warrenty
i did
why would you put a flame on edge of desk 💀
Well for like the other PCs
it was my dream charm and it most have hit the candle
🤦
dont get made at me srry i dont know how to keep a pc safe.
oh you said did i have a case nooo i did not
why was there not a panel between the candle and the components? did you leave it open
just a generaly safety tip to not put a FLAME where it can be knocked over
no case? but custom loop? this has to be a troll right
i nerver said this pc had a custom loop
if you were reading what i said you would understand
how tf do you mess up an aio
i said my 2 PC had a custom loop.
they said the had a case but probs, who doesnt know basic fire safety 💀
custom loop on a test bench prob lmao
i nerver said that this pc had a water loop.
ik how fast stuff can burn lol im talking about not having common sense to not put a candle on the edge of your desk
i didnt mean this pc, i meant you know enough to build a custom loop (maybe poorly, but that it exists), but you didnt know enough to put it inside a case when around OPEN FLAMES
omfg i had to go do sum at the time i was not paying attion
still and idk how it would get into the case
when the hell did i say that the pc that bruned had a loop
i didnt say it did. im saying you knew enough to put a custom loop in a different one, id expect you to know enough to put the other one in a case...
huh
i nerver said that my water loop did not have a case
no one is talking about the water loop
you said the one with a candle didnt
huh
^
am i misunderstanding
for the loop one. my suggestion is turn it off asap if you didnt. take it apart and dry off / soak up everything. clean it thoroughly with isopropyl. dry it for 24 hrs, in front of a fan if you can, and pray.
Hey Guys....Would anyone like to give me some advice on these components I'm thinking about putting together? CPU: Intel Core i7-9700 Coffee Lake 8-Core 3.0 GHz (4.7 GHz Turbo) LGA 1151 (300 Series) 65W BX80684I79700 Desktop Processor
MoBo: ASUS PRIME Q370M-C/CSM LGA 1151 (300 Series) Intel Q370 SATA 6Gb/s uATX Intel Motherboard
RAM: CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2666 (PC4 21300) Intel XMP 2.0 Memory Kit Model CMK32GX4M2A2666C16
how much are paying for all of this?
Pro or Con...
whats your budget?
about 800.00
Budget...1500.00
Sure
gaming? streaming? rendering?
Video Editing Photoshop etc
No Not a gamer More of an AppZ guy
alright ill make a quick list
I have plenty time Thanks so much
yeah no problem
Thinking about the Rosewill THOR case
Here's the case I have, that awaits my future build (that's I've had for almost a year now):
http://www.phanteks.com/Eclipse-P360X.html
thats a pog case
I know the front airflow is not top tier, but I was never planning to put high-end hardware in it anyway. (Original plans were for a Ryzen 5 3600 and a 2060 Super.)
Some one update me on why so many cases I see have no drive bays in front??
drive bays usually are hidden
Optical drive bays are pretty rare these days.
yeah
most games are digital now lmao
most gaming pc cases have room for a couple 3.5 hdds and 2.5 ssds
If you absolutely need an optical drive, just buy an external one.
way better than what they were going to get yes, mb just check if they want a wifi mobo
yeah
Ryzen....Those are a great Choice of components. Wanted to get the i9 CPU any way. Thank you guys so much for the help. You guys are smart!!
@river lintel ^ because if you do you will want to add a wifi card or get a different motherboard
ethernet
ok good
so you think there is no problem MB & CPU working correctly together? Kinda hard to get right for a newbie like me!!
yeah those should work right out of the box
should as in they will unless a faulty product btw not a guess lol ^
yeah
Man thats great ! Thanks again. So that item list I showed first....anything not fit together on it? Just trying to get some ideas.
Good deal...
yup
Your are right about that!
ye lol
Got that list bookmarked!!!
cool!
Glad you guys are here to help. See ya in a bit.
cya
logitech g502 hero
prob some redragon mouse
Reddragon probably is too expensive, they're usually in the 20$ range
uhh prob a 3070 at most
guys i need a gpu i dont have one
Good luck
where can i buy one
No where
i have 20k
Unless you pay out the rear end or wait very patiently
well i dont mind paying as little extra
Most gpus are $200-$500 over msrp right now
ur cappin.
Or more
ANYwhere
You can get 3090 for 1900 on evga site
bru there’s no way i can run a 3070... wouldn’t it explode
Why would a gpu explode?
Why not?
can you send a link?
are you poor?
Can somebody make me a build list with a r5 5600x and 3070 (assume 3070 is msrp) with a budget of 1300usd?
get this honestly
mine just burnt out
no buying/selling
how yours die?
oh sorry well mine just burnt out
Does this Pc good? https://auresgaming.com/product/basilisk-i94f/
when i put the fork in there was smoke then it made a crackling noise and dies
Reason: Bad word usage
Um, Can anyone answer my question please?
idk about pc's
im building one rn
amd now i only have ram because my cpu just set on fire
Yep still waiting for a 3080 or 3090 😦
Speaking of, 3080 in shuffle right now
Wait really?
Ok just entered
I’ve been waiting for a couple of months
And I always enter shuffle but idk
Probably just getting unlucky
are you any stock servers?
Yep
Multiple actually
But every time I try to get one bots always grab it before me or the website stops working like in Best Buy
nice
I got mine through the stockdrops server
I got an update for the newegg drop and I immideatley jumped on it and got my 3070
my sister's 3070 now
i mean its decent
idk what that price translates to in USD
oof
1.513 USD for that prebuilt
imo i would just look if building one is cheaper than buying that
yeah not worth at all for 1.5k
id maybe go 800 MAX usd on that pc
so like a lil over half that price of that one
although he is on a different country.
yeah
so hardware price changes
huh?
that pc would be around 600 bucks
did the math and searched for the parts
550 if 1650 was at MSRP
i put the 1650 for 200
yeah
Uhhh why lmao
yeah easily
The 10400 just does the math
your friend is wrong
The 3070 does the stuff on screen
10400 could even run a 3080
what psu you got?
or does that not relate to it
psu does matter
lemem check💀
That’s perfectly fine
aight
Although I would get a 750w that system will do absolutely fine
do all PSU’s fit in basically every pc?
like would a 750w fit in my case and whatever
there are some smaller and some bigger
can i find a small 750w?
but psus are mostly one size
all of them would fit in p400a
case?
yep
that’s what i have
not all most of them would fit
I have a 750w in my P400a
but would all psu’s sockets and plugs work with my motherb
that one will fit
750w AMP specifically
yes they follow the same standards
ok
Yes, it’s all standardized
@odd abyss yep it'll work
well not all of them do
if i get a 3k series i prob won’t get one until i get a 750w
ofc
wut
you can find some crappy ones that come in prebuilts
that use 20 pin for mobo
and stuff
youre build is not to worry
aight
but in general youll be fine
it could but if youre buying a 3080 i would be more inclined to recommend i7
Is there some type of adapter I can get no plug this to the rgb header on my motherboard?
It's from the aio cooler block
What aio
Yes please
I found it turns out they only make like one popular 360 mm aio
In the diagram it shows a special adapter cable labeled 12
You plug the rgb from the block and the fans into the rgb hub then the cable from the hub into the adapter then the adapter into the 5v rgb on the mobo
Ok this is what I need
Idk where to find a replacement though
Thanks for your help
The button thing to make the rgb on the cpu block work. I bought my cpu used and the aio cooler came with it but have some missing parts
Ah
You might need an argb hub or something
Or controller
Not too hard to find one
Yo! The pizza box build has inspired me bigly!
More like the 11600k
more like 5600x maybe >:D
Lol no if 6 core and 3080 you getting 5600x, if not then ryzen 7/9 or i9, i7 if you already have
BEST 800$ PREBUILT PC ?!
This a good deal?
Looks like it’s just you
reinstall it
i did
Works for me...
every time i try to sign it it just perma loads
i cant see stuff being sold either
i can only see 1 laptop

anyone have suggestions for a ~500$ home office build?
It was or in the pic the button is only if you don’t have any 5v argb/rainbow headers
Buy a dell
No
BEST PREBUILT PC FOR 800$ OR LOWER?!
for what workload
ty ty!!
great deal
1650s are like the price of that entire build rn
It’s 80
120 off from 200
...
Lol
80 is still too high for a 500gb ssd
Not worth it
Oh
e18 is the one with the crazy seq perf
Got it
and that's only seq perf
not random or anything you'll normally use
just sequential
is it dramless or something?
no
it's just
expensive
for a step up for seq perf
and not all the way step up
it's just awkard
got it
Since when?
Basically
if you REALLY need seq perf for whatever reason, you buy a e18/sm2264 drive
if you're a normal person, any good gen 3 drive
Oh well do you know what I can get to connect it to the argb header?
The diagram shows a cable that has a proprietary female side and the other side is for argb header
Should come with it
Contact the manufacturer and request the parts
Just send them an email, they can get them for you
Ok
It's a proprietary connection, not an industry standard. :/
NZXT from the look of it
From deep cool
Ah
ub
UBM, oooffff
lol
there's a reason r/intel banned it
use this instead
CPU Monkey or bust
r/AMD has a bot that yells at you if you send a ubm link
Lol userbenchmark 💀
Reason: Bad word usage
anyways
@winged lion good review
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lbch8LW-Bz0
The Intel i5-11600K is one of Intel's more promising launches today, alongside the Intel i5-11400 CPU and other low-end parts. Our review & benchmark of the 11600K tests it vs. AMD & more.
Sponsor: EVGA Z20 Keyboard on Amazon https://geni.us/kvPqEC
Support GN's independent reporting and get something good in return: Mouse mats, bar runner bar m...
it wins in just 1 game
Is user benchmark that bad
Yes
biased
the only game 11600k wins in
and inaccurate

is red dead redemption
I’ve been living a lie
GN uses games
so
yea
passmark is great for getting a sense of things but individual game benches give you more info
I can’t watch it atm
I know I can trust GN Tho
good
oh yea 11600k wins in cp2077 but
it's cp2077
maybe next patch 5600x gets ahead from bug fixes :P
Yeah 5600x better than 11600k, unless it's overclocked a lot i believe
Is the 11600k still good for the price though?
it's good for the price
because AMD doesn't respond under 300$ nowdays
but it's not better than 5600x
Mhm
Better value yes, but if you're not gonna oc, just save the bit and get 11400
I still can’t believe that I got this deal
I connected an old PNY SSD and it doesn't show up in disk management or the bios is the drive bad?
10700K or 10850K, for gaming and streaming??
10850k one of the best price-perf things you can get rn
I would go for a 5800x or 5900x tho
10850k when it's like 300$ but yea
10700k is damn nice with 8 cores
Streaming mostly handled on an encoder but 2 extra cores won’t hurt
Not a bad deal when you consider the corsair + rgb taxes
I'd still go for dual rank rev.e any day
I connected an old PNY SSD and it doesn't show up in disk management or the bios is the drive bad?
sata?
Yeah
Check connections
Tried
Then try with another system
Or plug connections into other places to check as well
Yes I tried all the 4 ports to see if it would work
Also checked connections so I am gonna try it with my dads old desktop tomorrow
I was gonna give it to my cousin because he has the slowest laptop of all time.
Sometimes it takes like over 5 minutes to boot.
You have sata power plugged in to it right?
As well as a sata data cable?
Sata power is plugged into psu?
Yes
Hmm idk then
Yeah I am gonna try with my dads old pc tomorrow.
ight
So my 1650 doesn't have any output, it has power but the monitor I have is brand new and doesn't say there's any input. I also tried on a different motherboard but no dice. Any ideas? I'm thinking I might have to install video card drivers but..
Hey so I am trying to build a PC for general office work and maybe to play some older games like far cry 3, cod 4 and some of the games made by Valve, and I was wondering if someone would be willing to take a look at the part list I have made to make sure that things look alright. This is also meant to be a budget PC build.
here is the list
wrong link
It's budget
looks pretty good value wise
how about the h510 mobo
10100 price is kinda wack rn tho
only thing to note if you ever want to upgrade to a 11400 h410 doesnt support 4.0 or 11th
I found the CPU for 125 on ebay sorry I forgot to mention that
yeah at that price id get a 10400 or 11400
wd blue sn550 1TB or wd black sn750? Is there even much of a difference in speed between the sn550 and sn750 for it to be worth the significant price difference
that ram is also a meh
i used a 10100 for a couple months at 4k its actually pretty decent for the price
yeah but not when its $170
i paid around 170cad
10400 is somehow cheaper
Yep
well this but ignore the 10400 then
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/p7NgcT
personally not a fan of the look of the case but looks good
Didn't scroll down that far nvm
If you can spend an extra 20$ tho you can double your ram capacity
nah 8 gigs should be fine for what I will be doing thanks for the suggestion though
What will you be doing?
Nvm prices went up again for ram
but yea
I suggest some edits as seen in that list
b560 is nice
ssd for boot is nice
mx330-g air is cheaper
evga ba is cheaper
Cheapest 2x8gb kit is now 80 dollars wtf
yeppie
im surprised at how fast they shipped out my ram replacement
Cheaper than 40 damm
for my rma
Sweat literally a week ago you could get ballistix for 65$
then back in nov 2020 I got a 3200C16 2x8 kit of ballistix for $44
F for pc builders atm
lol
f for us
used?
new
.... How
prob good sale
it's not that surprising
aegis 3200cl16 2x8gb stayed at 50$ flat for the longest time
ye
prime day deal maybe
i paid like 75 for my 2x8 3600 c16 ripjaws 5 kit
it was prime day I think
yea 75$ was normal for it
or wait cyber monday
makes sense
now its like $100 lol
yup
75$ ballistix gon too
So what is a good GPU to get since we dont have any good ones
budget?
Just in general and nothing over 1k
I see, my RTX 2070 is going to stay awhile
2070 still a great card
I know, it is very good indeed. but I might need to get another mobo (Tomahawk Max)
Wdym?
Reason: Bad word usage
My case is broken and I want to see if I need to upgrade my mobo
I have B450 Tomahawk Max and I just wondering if I need to upgrade or not
Why would you need to?
It's still decent and probably supports your chip
why upgrade if it works?
I need to find the cheapest b450 carbon gaming mb that’s ryzen 3000 series ready
great
Anyone have tips on where to look?
I’m upgrading from a hp motherboard with a locked bios to one that support r5 3500 and ready to play on
I would just take an A2000 for the same price really, marginally better but it's the same price 😎
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/RykgXL/kingston-a2000-500-gb-m2-2280-nvme-solid-state-drive-sa2000m8500g
@tough kettle You sure? Pretty sure sn550 with the shared metadata between slc cache and system memory gives it the edge in rnd perf and all
@stoic island ?
@hot tree yes but why the heck b450 gaming carbon
I need to find a mb that will fit a full atx case, and supports 3rd gen ryzen 5 3500
@tough kettle also, checked reviews rq, within margin of error
Like, we screw around with tiny performance numbers, but this is within like 2% of each other kind of thing, and sn550 slaps in seq iirc
why the heck was this message then
I'm so confused
whatever, PG4 time
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B089VTZ83Q
The A2000 has a more consumer-focused controller, DRAM, and a larger SLC cache, The A2000 had some consistency issues when it came out due to firmware, though...on new FW, I assume it got fixed
ik
and the controlled on the sn550 is different because of hmb
it's built for hmb
and nicely so
obvisly
(As in better than most other hmb drives)
and even when talking about sustained perf with slc cache sizes, at 50GB file size, the sn550 stays within margin of error with just being fast before running out of SLC cache, and quite fast relatively when it does run out
better comparison for cache sizes and speeds before and after cache used up
Tomshardware tested it with the old firmware
newer one is tested by TPU
look at that
lemme check then
wait
@tough kettle did it get a bigger slc cache too.....?
looks like ~150GB cache in tpu testing
wack
but it does seem better
somehow the average still loses out to the (?) SN500..?
dunno
wack
going to leave it alone now
a2000 decent
I still like sn550 better
(faster in bursts, in longer sustained r/w, sn550 faster)
I literally can't find that graph
where is it lol
I know
Reason: Bad word usage
god
the one for cache size?
yep
if ups doesnt let me down i think build day might finally be this weekend
lian li parts have taken forever to ship
its my first time starting from scratch
i really hope i didn't forget anything else, having to reorder strimers for the plus model was painful on wait time
wuts ur specs?
lmaoooo
What would you recommend to go with a budget of 1,700 dollars?
For 1700?
Scrap the samsung m.2
Put in a mushkin pilot e
Scrap the sata ssd and put in a 2tb barracuda hdd
Spend the budget on a b550 board
For pcie gen 4 availability
130$ for windows
lol
Ehh pcie gen 4 only useful for ssds and only if you moving files constantly but 240gb sata for 44? You can get a 500gb one for cheaper/same price
Rams overpriced too
yeah but gen 4 will futureproof the system incase some highly fast expansion is needed
Ehhhh i mean mb but nvme fast enough for most, i mean gpus dont even take up the full pci 3.0 16 lanes
For just gaming or anything else too? Video editing etc?
Ngl would not recommend that for 1700 kinda poorly budgeted
very true
Probably streaming and gaming
Okay lemme put something together for you
Do you live near a micro center btw?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ysD7Jf rtx 3070 is in there at 600, even tho the founder edition is a 500, the rest are a lot more
noo
why Segotep for a 5800x+3070 build lol
also the cooler is overpriced
and so is the motherboard
Ikr
Ik just got them one with wifi just incase and why not segotep
I've explained like a thousand times by now lol
protections not been tested
no OTP
if we assume by platform- high set OPP
Okay 👀
And I'm not sure about good coolers in that range that aren't the d15 haven't really looked into it
cooling a 5800x stock should be relatively easy
A gammaxx se 224 or vetroo?
so something along the lines of 50-70 USD like the Fuma 2/Mugen 5 rev B/ that one phanteks cooler with the wacky name/ninja 5 etc etc
Ahh yeah
if looking for slightly worse ones, pretty barebones but if on a tight budget
I thought those would be a bit lackluster for 5800x
it should be fine for a stock 5800x
Reason: Duplicated text
Bruh
that seems a bit too expensive
Mugen 5 for the price of a fuma 2 generally not worth it
this seems like a cheap decent one
@tough kettle 5800x is not easy to cool
no, stock is relatively easy with a half-decent cooler
it manages to get pretty decent temps with a U12S, not too bad
yeah with decent one i guess it can be fine but it still get hot
low-70's don't seems hot to me
Ohh sorry idk the diff between them
Fuma 2 is a dual tower cooler
slightly bigger heatsink too, and there would be other differences such as the fan used
and is generally slightly better in thermals and acoustics
Dual towers are generally better for cooling, the heatsink is divided into two parts with 2 fans, when the airflow through the heat sink decreases, it results in a decrease in average air temperature
which would decrease the base temperature of the heat sink
and the thermal resistance should also decrease
which is temperature rise per unit of power
Why not consider dark rock pro 4 or nh-d15
6900 xt or 3090
look at #old-cooling
Originally had a d15 in there
Ahh yeah i getcha, ik what makes the differences i just haven't looked at them
What is better a ryzen 5 3600x or a intel i5 10400f?
10400f
Thx
Ugh, can't believe I missed a shuffle with a 3060ti yesterday
I have a question, so for my birthday I can get a component for my pc and I'm not sure if I want an m.2 or a monitor. rn I have a crucial bx500 and a iiyama GB2560HSU. what should I buy
If you already have an SSD, you won't notice with an M.2. You will notice a monitor
ok, ty
620 3060ti or something tho
Sadly, I'm at the point of looking at prebuilt websites. May have to wait a month or two, but it would be a system with a guaranteed GPU. And I could just shift the parts into the case I have that I actually want to use.
Yo I need some help
OK I have a ASRock B550 Phantom Gaming-ITX/AX in box but I currently am running a ASRock B450M-HDV R4.0 AM4 AMD
And I have a AMD Ryzen 5 2600 six core and a Radeon RX 580 Series so is the B550 better and put it in my Pc or should I just sell the B550?
that board doesn't support a 2600
If you right click the audio icon and hit "volume mixer" there's per-app control there
Do you have audio drivers installed?
yah realtek
where could i check again
i have the realtek app thingy from gigabyte
its just gone bruh
Oh, gigabyte website for the mobo
Go to support and look for audio drivers there
Install
Hopefully it fixes
Sound settings, at the bottom advanced sound settings, app volume and device preferences
Do you need the extra cores for anything? A 10600k would be plenty if not streaming or editing.
You also don't need that much power, is that for future proofing upgrades?
Is this good for ryzen 5 3600
yes
Yep should be a good one
there arent any thermal constraints so i dont why not
You wouldn't use the full potential of that CPU unless you need the extra cores for multi tasking. You can save around $80 or more and it'll be the same game performance.
cuz why not
plus im going to microcenter
its 269
10600k is $70 cheaper at MC
Just an option, I can't stop you if you really want to go overkill on the CPU
yeah but the 10700k at mc is the same price as a 10600k not at mc so why not
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mhvq2V Feedback? Will it run 165+ fps 1440p fortnite and valorant on low-med settings
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/8NDn4d something like this would be more ideal
Have a brand new Asus b560a strix, and it cane with a part I have not seen before,it's a little screw encased in a weird plastic shell. Some others told me it might be a GPU stand off screw. I have no idea what it is. Any ideas?
like a little u clamp around the screw
Probably a M.2 screw
If it's very short with a flat head
Low end Noctua fan?
Idk
@potent portal those aren't what I have.
Air goes towards where the logo and manufacturing info is
Didn’t see the question
So if the manufacturing info being on the inside-the-case half of the fan means that it’s intake
Is it like that on all fans
I think so
I have a friend who has a relative with a roughly $1150 usd budget what board should I get cpu is the 11400
I was looking at B560
Assuming by ‘right’ you mean ‘exhaust’ then yes
Pro4 is usually best thing
B560 Pro4 that is
Asrock
Pls click
heres the list
M.2 Q-Latch Asus calls it
those are the redux ones I'm pretty sure
@potent portal your the man.
I think I should probs switch out psu for something a little less
Explosive?

If it's explosive you're looking for there's a lot of Gigabyte P-GM units in the shuffle that you're forced to buy with the GPUs
There also tt smart
im not looking for explosive lol
Screw Gigabyte all my homies hate Gigabyte
tt smart unholy
Lmao
As I read this on my Gigabyte monitor
lol
Lol
I’ve told y’all the story about my friend with a 500w white rated TT smart PSU and a 3600x, 2080?
what the hell
Prebuilt?
No
3600x, 2080 with a 80+ unrated tt smart
Pre owned but not ore built
Eesh that stings. Or... burns
He got the 2080 himself but he got a deal on the rest of it
Wtf
Hasn’t failed him yet
He's just really luckt
did it not fail him yet
wrong link
Get it out asap
swap out ssd
get a different mobo
ssd?
3600 Memory if you're sticking with Ryzen
id go pilot e 1tb
ac my build fits good in this situation
ok
id go 10700f at this point, 3700x overpriced
@round stream swap out 11400 for 10700f and p360a white
but intel motherboards are so expensive
i think 11th gen likes faster ram
no
not b560-
B560 good price
Fair enough. 3200 is still good for Intel, but 11th gen likes faster if you tune it.
yeah
can i switch for better cpu
yeah
switch for 10700f
ez
im guessing the rest of the build is fine
ok got it
oh and for the psu get a segotep 700w psu
okay, would i need moer fans
ok
check out the list i posted, cheaper and better
ok i did
for the build should I go w/ a 10700f instead?
what build?
i already made a list
k
Hi what parts do you guys recommend getting since im building my first pc my budget is around 2k-2.k
k
k? lol
umm 3080 and 5800x build
no
would do very well for price range
is 16gb good for streaming and gaming ?
id go 32 for that stuff
yep
16 is fine for gaming, but once you start streaming youll want 32
I only recommend 16 to those who won't need to stream
yea i want 32
32 best option tbh
im currently on a i3 4gb ram laptop lol i cant do anything
lol
you could do a 11600k and 3080 build tho
since streaming is mostly handled on gpu encoder
i heard 3080 is kinda rare ?
it is
every gpu in the market rn is rare
for a decent price
ofc you can buy a 3080 on ebay rn for 2k
oh yea ik i saw the gpu prices their skyrocketing
m
im guessing 3080 would be able to do high settings at 1440 with 100ish framerates
on more demanding games
but youll have to watch real world benchmarks on the games you wanna plaay
to see real fps
less demanding esports titles probs 144+fps 1440p ultra or high
yeah easy
A 3080 can mostly do 4k 60 fps
once 3090 perf becomes standard on mid range cards for decent prices 4k would probs be the norm
i still dont rly think in monitors you can rly see difference from 2k to 4k
Some people can tell the difference if it's a big enough monitor. If it's just a 27 inch pixel density is so high anyway you can't tell.
I’m having some issues with my build
My 3070 will not fully seat
Is there anyone that can video chat with me to help
why do you have it in the bottom slot
Cause the top slot wasn’t fitting
That was my fault
The brackets are seemingly preventing the mono from making full connections with the gpu
pull it out and retry
try to insert from the back side first, closest to the rear panel
yeah
looks like it should
Ok
looks like this is the part thats preventing it from sliding in for you
pcie bracket is stopping it i think
which is weird
Yeah the bracket it fully flush
Maybe I can raise my mobo?
I think this case is too small
It’s the meshify c
weird since it should be fine
wait
is your mobo sitting on the right strandoffs? @royal grove
looks to me like your mobo may just be sitting on back of case
usually mobos have them preinstalled but who knows, maybe they forgot or sumthin
i see it comes with 8 standoffs and the 9th one is preinstalled in the case
from what im reading
Yeah I have standoffs
looks like you have to install them yourself
I need to put them in
yeah
Thanks!
ye np
So the stand offs will raise the mobo essentially?
is 45c on idle bad
which should give you that extra height needed to intsall that gpu
cpu and cooler?
stock cooler?
