Can someone help me with my cooler
No fans, no lights?
Nope
- power switch
Ok
I’m having trouble with the thumbnuts
which cooler?
Kraken x63
well uhh instructions are therer
because from what i remember it was pretty straightforward
Ok
Now, the FP connector you're using for the power switch on the top, is it labeled PWRSWTCH
Ye
Ok
Ummm
Where's your second M.2 cover screw?
Is your M.2 screwed in like it's supposed to be?
There isnt a screw for it
So is your M.2 screwed to the post or no?
Or just slotted in and held down with the heatsink?
When i touch the m.2 it pushed down
Push button
Should i still try and turn it on
heck yeah
Nothing
-_-
Big sad
So is the mobo dead
NOt yet
try shorting it with a screwdriver
the power switch
Where your other two fans are
might be an issue with the button
What would go better with a 5800x a 3070 3080
Then I'd have nothing to do
I see a missing standoff and motherboard screw in that pic
Would that really matter
3080
The missing one? no
But, it makes me wonder if there is one out of place somewhere it shouldn't be
my x399 board is held in with like 3 standoffs
how did you test the power supply BTW?
Would the 3070 still work
literal professional system builder btw
I was told to put a paper clip into the 3 and 4th thing on the 24 cable
did the fan spin?
ok so its not a psu problem
Thw psu fan did spin
Ye, PSU should have fan spin, you told me that
wait, vintage, why not try shorting the pins to see if it turns on?
lThere were other things to try first
ok
He told me to put a paper clip into the power connector to see if that worked and it didnt
I was gonna have them do the paperclip ATX connector trick but with no colors that's too risky
oh
Are you SURE you got the right holes?
Wym got the holes right
For the paper clip
is the clip on the left or right side of the power connector as it sits now?
The big main one
Uh idk wym i put both ends of the paper clip in the 2 two holes on the pwr thing
The big power connector on your motherboard
There's a clip you press with your finger to remove it
Is it on the left or right side looking down at it?
Ok, if it's on the right, paperclip goes on the right hand row
Yeah
3rd and 4th holes up from the Bottom
I did 3rd and 4th at the top
is it too late to return everything and get a prebuilt
Odds of two bad boards are very slim
unless you have a volt meter to test things with?
Just because fan spins doesn't mean power is coming out
I have another psu but its like 500w
Lemme grab it
Its in my old pc
And pls no paperclip
Use the power button
XD
Ok, it'll take you a bit
No problem
Everything is still connected do i just disconnected move the 24 pin
What cpu can run VR like what’s the lowest cpu that can
What a good mother board for 5800x
Something with BIOS flashback since most motherboards don't ship with the right BIOS for those yet
Yes, need to hook up CPU power and ATX power
The 8 pin and the 24 pin
Unless it can reach lol
BRB, feed cats
K
Remove power supply from old PC best unless everything reaches
You have two 4 pins?
Yea
Switch them
There is
Are both 4 pins labeled CPU?
There werent any labeled cpu its labeled p2
What power supply please?
Antec 500w
Is it gray or black?
Are all the cables going to the 4 pins yellow and black?
Or is there an orange and red wire in one of the 4 pins?
Ok, those are the right ones
I mean, leave em out if they don't plug in right I guess
Omg there i
And the 24 pin is in
Nope nothing
At this point we down to 2 things
Take motherboard out of case
Pic of standoffs pls
Test motherboard on the motherboard box
out of the case
Ok and i never plugged the reset sw and hd led back in from when u told me to take em out
I jus realized
3700x
K whew
K, take board out and test on a box
so it's not touching the case
and pic of standoffs for patter
So k lemme unccrew
Yup yup
If it still doesn't work after this, take the CPU out and hit the button. We should at LEAST get a CPU Error LED lol
So i remove the cpu now?
yooo im running into a small issue
Ok
the rad fans for my AIO are being blocked by my cpu header so i'm having to mount the rad diagonally or else it won't fit
I dont want to get slim fans, would it be fine if I just mod the fan a little and cut the corner
yeah
alright i'll probably get to it
Ok, down into the case
thx
YW
Ye
Test mobo on box with cpu
Ok so take cpu out?
Then what do i do
Connect to power and turn on
W the power sw?
Ok so what do i connect to the mobo
CPU power and 24 pin ATX power
Ok
Either supply at this point
power switch
Or
use something to touch the two pins where the switch goes
FP header, top row, far right and the next pin to the left
A screw driver?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3NJ9nL
dont mean to interrupt but anybody got any recommendations for 4x16 3600mhz ram? i dont have any theme so i dont really care how the ram looks
yes
Whats supposed to happen
anybody got a good idea for a pc 800-900 good for gaming
This is the most affordable of the 4x16Gb kits
With good speed and timings
2x32 significantly cheaper
Whats supposed to happen w the screwdriver
thanks
Nothing happens
Yeah
Didnt work and ok
What should be plugged in now just the 24 pin and cpu pins
Yep
Well my friend, buy a lotto ticket
😦
I wonder can we go 3 for 3
This time though
don't put it in the case right away
Connect the CPU and ATX power and hit the pins
RIght after you get it
Ok
To make sure it works
Sorry man
I really thought it had to be something else
You were doing the power pins not the reset pins right?
Yes
Is it his psu?
Yeah, even with no CPU the CPU light should light up
Not his PSU
tested two of them
2nd one
I actually assemble and test mine outside the case before I install
CPU and ram and power
I just built it and our psu didnt turn on
Switch on on the back of it?
Im gonna go to bestbuy tmr and tru and get one
Different mobo?
oof
This is sad mane
Indeed
No post
Clear cmos can help
you cant fix incompatibility
if its on a hardware level
Ait
Bios freaked because new ram
I can run bios and post without docp
Fuc
Nah then it isn't worth it cuz I was running 3200mhz
Better than 32gb at 1866
With amd? Heck yeah
Really?
I demand a refund replacement with over night shipping
Welp it better do cuz I have no refund😋
What are the chances i messed up the mobo
Should work
I was grounded and tried to he extremely carful
Low
Nah just lower 1 by 1
😦
Indeed
Earing dinner lol
Why 3 18?
Dont worry about those. Fisrt number is 16 run with it
Literally no mobos instock at bb near me that are under 200
amazon
Should i get the asus strix b450-f axt
Will that work w my 3700x
@muted patio
Also a msi x470 which is alot cheaper
Eh was too complicated I just bumped up speed by 66hz
I'd say get a better mobo to avoid incompatibility or flashing bios
Max i wanna spend is what that one costs
Idk how to do that so ill get the other one
You have to flash it and download the update on another pc to a usb stick
But wait @fleet pagoda
Check the official page of Asus
Some motherboards do have compatibility
Ye
Gimme a sec
B450 dont have to ypdate for 3700
Some do
Not today. Back when they were new they did. Check the cpu compatibility list and bios release date
Ryzen 3700 supported since bios 2301. Theyre on 4007 now -_-
Bios released may of 2019
Current boards will support
Yup
Besides even with no cpu we should have had the cpu error led light up. It didnt.
did u determine that it was a faulty mobo?
is their some adapter that I can use to connect 3 pin fans to a 4 pin header on a motherboard? this is what the connector on the fan looks like.
u dont need an adaptor, just plug it directly in
wait rlly?!?!
how did i not figure this out sooner lol. thx a lot.
lol yea its fine if u figured it out
ok i will do it tomorrow then.
Sure
How long will 9600k be viable for gaming
let me see on my crystal ball and...
it blue screened
anyway there is not really a way to see how a cpu is viable for X years
and meep has a point aswell
Not really
I mean triple A title
Minesweeper doesn't count
Wait so the asus strix b450-f will work w 3700x without bios update?
Yes
Alr ima order one
Is hardwiring your pc going to affect the rest of the households internet (like make things slower for them)
Only if you use up all the bandwidth
Can you explain a little
If you're doing a ton of downloading, you'll be using all the "internet" so to speak
Doesn't matter if it's wifi or wired, the end speed all depends on what you pay for from your ISP
Ethernet doesn't give you "faster internet"
Thank ylu
YW
You da best homie
Ey! I got my money back on this!
I bought it for $940 from Amazon about six months ago
O.o
Just sold it for $1100
Now I can buy the 3080ti when it launches
😁
In under three hours too
ahh, remember when everybody was panic selling their cards only a few months ago?
what a joke
Happy I waited. Now I gotta sell my waterblock
Looks to be an international buyer too
Too bad I can't do the same with my i9
Wait have u ordered yet? B450-F is known to have some pretty low quality VRMs...
Haha, like what you did there ^^
one fan in the back as exhaust would be ok for 2 days right?
waiting for splitters to hook up 4 more fans
VRM's are fine unless you're slapping in a 3900x and overclocking
Check your temps, if they are low enough you're fine
would leaving the front panel off help?
Only ONE fan in the case?
Maybe, depending on the front panel
Idek what vrms r
I'd just leave the side panel off if you can
And im not overclocking i saw that mentioned
Nothing to worry about dom, you're not gonna overclock
Alr ty
I mean sure, but there are better motherboards to get for the same price or lower. Maybe at least the Tomahawk instead?
My new pc I'm building. 😎
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/bXVvsX
Or the B450-A Pro Max?
It's not $420
XD
waiting for cpu stock sucks man
$180, and the VRMs ain’t the best but ig it’ll do with no OC, or maybe some PBO idk
Gonna be honest here, that 3700x probably won't do 1900 FCLK for that ram but good luck!!
I'm really hoping the 3100 comes back into stock soon
I got everything I need except the cpu
Why the 3100?
Oh wait nvmd u probably already have the motherboard.
How about the 10100?
It’s too late ig, but the 10100 beats the 3100 in gaming, if that’s what the build is for
If he already has an am4 mobo, no need to switch cpu
I know I know. It’s just Intel’s offerings are good too, for anyone wondering
Cpus hardly matter anymore for gaming, ost of the processing of games comes from the gpu.
That is not even remotely true
For 1080p, that is completely wrong
Actually that’s just wrong entirely
Wdym, literally every pc tech youtuber says that.
Not even close
Modern games are processed more on the gpu than it is the cpu.
Don’t believe everything you hear
This guy
1080p is CPU bound
*very
So you're saying, bitwit, Linus, and jayz are all wrong?
They don't say that LOL. I watch Linus and Jay and they haven't said that once
Yes they have lol
No they haven’t
Well, maybe BitWit lmfao
Why a 3070 does better with a 3900x than a 7700k if it's not CPU dependent
bitWit is an idiot
Bitwit literally builds his budgets with ~50% towards gpu, why? Cause maybe it's more necessary for games than a high end cpu
But the CPU matters just as much as the GPU, especially at 1080p
Don’t quote BitWit
He’s entertaining sure, but isn’t reliable in the slightest
Am I a jerk for flagging all the scalping GPU's on FB Marketplace as scams? XD
No. Ur a good man 😎
I'm sorry, but I'm gonna believe the guys who have made a career in this field instead of you.
And no, I do that too
ah I'm aiming for a decent editing and gaming build
Please try not to give advice then
not heavy video editing though
Please go listen to Jay and Linus again
Pay attention to what CPU's they're using
And what they actually talk about
For nearly all of their gaming pc builds I have seen, at least Linus, he is almost always using a 3600x maybe a bit more than that
I didn't say that
Yes you did
Build guides? Those are meant to help u build, doesn’t mean you should get exactly what parts they got
You said "most of the processing for the game comes from the GPU"
I just said that most games depend more on the gpu for processing than cpus
Exactly
It is not
XD
The two complement each other
I've probably been doing this for longer than you've been alive -_-
Okay, then tell me why my friend has a 2700x and an rx5600xt
The cpu should be bottlenecking
Much like horsepower and torque do for an engine.
Butm in the words of Jay, I digress.
Because he wanted to?
But it isnt
But, I'ma go flag some more ads
@sharp tundra just do us both a favor and refrain from giving advice, please
Dude I was giving advice here well before you were, lol
Because people dont understand cores, threads and l2 l3 cache and go by the mhz?
I feel bad for the people who listened to you then. You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about
And yes, clock speeds aren’t everything
Nearly Every build I've made for people, have been approved by other techies, like mr111, naed, norbillgen
You obviously have a lot of bias and I would definitely not trust you to give good advice
Whatever dude
I mean one techie obviously disapproves of you, so I don’t trust that claim
You've probably been here for 4 days, I've been here for 4 months
And yet I still know more than you
Sure thing
Like how the 10400F > 3600 in gaming, but since you have an AMD bias, you don’t believe it
I didn't say it wasn't, I am AMD bias because AMD is better multithreading capabilities versus nearly every intel chip, yeah intel has higher frequencies, but thats not always everything. The 3600x is one of the best budget gaming cpus on the market right now and it has multiple sources claiming it.
Intel is losing a game they created, not my fault you can't except that
Gaming is usually more core intensive, and you do know that the 3600X is virtually the same as a 3600, unless you count the 1-2% increase in performance worth the premium. And the 10400F is $155, how much does the 3600X cost again?
10400(F)>3600(x)
Tbh I never see you chat
The 3600/X/XT may have an edge in productivity workloads, but for $155, the 10400F takes the cake for gaming and value, and isn’t too far behind in productivity as well
Ah yes, reinforcements
@little osprey cause I don't spend my life on discord anymore
Ok Mr. “I’ve been here for 4 months so I’m automatically smarter than you”
Point is no matter what camp you choose or are behind, planned obsolescence screws everyone. Do your research, pick your price point, enjoy. It's likely better than what you had prior.
I agree sinthala, it's just we got people like Europe here who don't understand that we are living in 2020, and not 2010, where yes, games were more cpu intensive, because graphic quality was poorer than now. But seems like he's trying to tell me that you can play battlefield 5 on an intel with integrated graphics at 4k60 is a possibility
Since games aren't more gpu intensive
Anyways, have a good night yall.
Lastly though,
What is the CPU?
The central processing unit (CPU), also referred to as the “processor,” carries out and controls the computer program’s instructions by performing input/output (I/O) operations, basic arithmetic, and logic. An essential part of any computer, the CPU receives, directs, and processes the computer’s data.
What is the GPU?
The graphics processing unit (GPU), also called graphics card or video card, is a specialized electronic circuit that accelerates the creation and rendering of images, video, and animations. It performs fast math calculations while freeing the CPU to perform other tasks.
Tell me which one sounds like a modern game would use more of. (HINT: There's only one answer)
both lol
a gpu needs a cpu that'll keep up
pretty ironic since you have a pretty good cpu for a decent GPU
lmao
Gpu was a trade I made for something lesser than my last, but I got something else in return.
yea well i agree that in most gaming cases, GPU is more expensive than cpu
And I can game at 4k60 on medium-high settings perfectly fine
but both are important for getting FPS
really? my old 1660 super was struggling at high settings overwatch at 1080p 144hz
Higher frequencies are important for getting higher fps, thats why intel was considered the better choice for gaming for a long time because of that advantage they had.
that sounds like a cpu issue
running overwatch at 1080p is not hard
But having better multithreading capabilities imo is worth sacrificing that .2-.3 ghz difference in frequency
the 11700k is rumored to have lower frequency
Especially when your gpu can pick up the extra slack
yet higher single-core perfs
Apparently there was 500000 rtx 3000 cards that were lost, and found today
Fake news
Seems like it, 500000 is a A LOT of cards
I just saw this build with 4 gpu’s stacked... how the heck is it getting air ventilation
Water cooling?
Seemed like nothing was on it
Send it
No airflow for those gpu s
Could be for looks
That is going to over heat isn’t it
Like just a meme
They just stuck them in there for a pic
Then took a couple ou
They aren't even linked
So it's just a meme
Linked Wdym?
That is a fat cringe
Sli
There should be a bridge across them
they dont have to be bridged together
They don't?
Like connected all 4 to each other
of course not
work together for what?
Like gaming and editing
What’s the point of 4 gpu’s ??
Not many games support sli
It doesn’t make the graphics better does it?
Mining and stuff
Mining lol
If game is optimised super well
First off, if you're using 2 gpus for games, you are the problem with the pc world
the only software that utilizes sli are like, 40 games, nothing else uses it
if you have 4 gpus, you arent gaming, and you most likely dont need sli
no
And the insta
How do you get the techie role
You earn it
I know how to put a cpu into its socket
A techie suggests you get it
I think that’s enough
Bro... the build is legit it isn’t for “fun”
Like they actually built it and uses it
I wish I was joking
you bribe a mod for it
@subtle halo I bend the CPU pins if that proves to you that I’m a techie
I’m pretty sure I know my stuff 💪🏼😎
true
I upgraded from a 1050ti to 1660 xc black since I got a good price, is this a good upgrade?
its alright yeah
Ok
Well what price was it?
no
10700 (none K)
Z490 MSI Gaming Plus
32GB 3200
(£570/$660)
OR
3700x
B550 TOMAHAWK
32GB 3200
(£545/$655)
Paired with a 3070 (mainly used for gaming 1440P)
You guys think the msi b550 gaming plus good?
A few more hours till my mother board arrives
From lttstore.com?
Anyone opinion on the EVGA supernova 750w G+ vs the Corsair RM750? I ordered the EVGA on Amazon which won’t ship until mid Jan, but when I was at Bestbuy yesterday they had a ton of RM750s in stock. Debating whether to cancel my order and just pick up the Corsair
RM750 is a better unit.
Thanks dude, you’ve been a big help
What is a nice, good looking, affordable case that has a PSU display cutout
Who just ghost pinged me in build-pics haha
@tribal mica I didn't expect that to happen. I really like your setup.
Ah it's okay, thank you :)
Samsung C27HG70 27" HDR QLED 144Hz 1ms Curved Gaming Monitor
SAMSUNG 32-Inch Odyssey G5 Gaming Monitor with 1000R Curved
Samsung U28E590D 28-Inch 4k UHD LED-Lit Monitor
Top 3 picks.... what would work best/be easiest on eyes for long periods of time (coding, gaming and video editing)
im leaning more twords the G5 or c27
Hey fellas I'm looking for a good lga 1151 motherboard for my i7 9700k and msi seahawk x 2080 with room for at least 64 gigs of ram size isn't really a concern however budget friendly would be nice its going in a thermaltake lvl 20 ht
I'm primarily MSI parts and would love to stick to em but willing to work with whats available
Any thoughts?
@manic ingot any z390 board will be fine, they pretty much all fine unless you're looking for overclocking.
Well im not looking at extreme overclocking i would like to do a little light overclocking
What would you recommend parts wise for someone whose never built a rig before?
would depend on your budget
im going to make my first build and im doing like a 3k build
Depends what you want to do with it as well
@dreamy summit why do you have your gpu in the bottom slot?
@severe axle A couple of reasons, firstly it hides a lot of the cables that connect at the bottom on my motherboard and allows for a shorter cleaner run for the GPU Power connectors. My case also has so much airflow that having a half inch to 3/4 of an inch of clearance from the Bottom of the GPU and the case has not had any big impact on performance. Secondly, from my understanding (correct me if I am wrong) there isn’t any difference with the PCI-e Lanes between the slots on my Motherboard so the single card in my system should be able to utilize all the x16 lanes that the motherboard offers and even if the PCI-E socket does not support PCI-e 4.0, there are no games that support or benefit from PCI-e 4.0 yet so I am not losing anything. So it basically comes down to aesthetics.
there is not that much airflow there, those darkflash fans don't have much cfm and the case isn't front mesh
additionally, the top slot goes directly to cpu
wait are those darkflash fans or not?
can't tell
@severe axle ultimately what I want to do is Vertically mount my GPU. But the MSI card is much bigger than the FE card that I wanted and cannot Fit with the Air Cooler I have in the system. I’ll be upgrading my cooler in a few months and I’ll adjust the GPU then! Thanks for the info.
I think it should be fine with only gpu connected
The case does have a removable panel in the front and top though for more airflow, the fans in my case are garbage though. At least the RGB ones are. I’ll be upgrading later but for now I have them running full throttle all the time.
hmm, actually...
I'm checking the manual for that mobo and it is saying that the bottom slot is x4
might be a loss in frames?
Hey first time here, was wondering if anyone has had problems with random fps drops and stuttering when using the CLX prebuilt pc and if so any solutions to fix the drops?
I have never seen a orange and grey p600s @dreamy summit
@night iron I took the plastic pieces apart and did a custom paint job. Took a long time cause I wanted to make sure I got it right but I love how it turned out!
@night iron
Excellent work on the case.
What's a good price to pay for a used 2060 super?
300$ if it's in very good condition, prob closer to 250$ in general
@blazing aurora I wish 2060 supers were that low. Now a days they rarely go below 380
Hard to find used 2060 for lower than 300
Just noticed that the GPU looks kind of crooked inside the case is that something I should be worried about?
It feels tight when trying to wiggle it but looks kind of weird
You’re likely going to get some gpu sag on heavier gpus such as that one, as long as you have it in the port good and it screwed into the slot you should be ok
Yep it’s screwed and sits tight thanks!
Yeah you’re good
How do I remove mother board standoffs
you can always buy a gpu brace to stop it from sagging if it concerns you but sag is normal
^
Help☹️
your case should come with one
or a plier if that works
it goes over the standoff and you can use a screwdriver to take it out
Is that the one?
no
Oh
Yea I don’t have that now what
You can order a tool for it. Probably easier to get the screwdriver handled one. Thats what i use. Idk
i cant hear from my speakers, and they arent turning on either. downloading realtek drivers didnt help
can someone guide me on what im supposed to do?
Or use a small adjustable wrench to loosen maybe?
is a 450w PSU for an RTX 2060 a bad idea?
Might wanna get bit higher wattage for that
Plus higher wattage future proofs
Maybe get a 650 w one
Depends on the quality
i used an adjustable wrench to move mine
not sure what shape yours are though
Yea I can’t find it
anything that can grip it would work
Hey guys. Im building my first RIG.
I almost got all of my components as u can see.
For RAM, please witch one should I choose. DRAM OR SDRAM?
Hey guys, I'm planning on buying a Lian li o11 Dynamic XL case but I'm having difficulty selecting an appropriate motherboard for it. I keep getting an error on pc part picker which states that the front port usb's won't work. Any recommendations on a motherboard that will solve that issue? Thanks
the case uses a new type of front panel usb header
that motherboard doesnt have the header
its not that big of a deal, you can either find an adapter on ebay, or just pick a different motherboard
Is the x570 Msi tomahawk a good motherboard? That's the only mobo so far that's hasn't given an error on the page for that case
Don't know but I can try the ROG B550 A Gaming
actually, if you can live without usb c at the front, then it doesnt matter, any motherboard will do
the two usb a at the front use a standard 20-1 header, which every modern motherboard has
hello to make it short, im building my first pc for gaming. should i go intel or amd for parts?
what's your budget?
Hey guys. Im building my first RIG.
I almost got all of my components
For RAM, please witch one should I choose. DRAM OR SDRAM?
DRAM of course
This article briefly overviews the major differences between the different types of DRAM including SDRAM and the various types of (DDR) topologies
3000-3500
there is only one type of ram for desktop and that is the stardand ddr
there is also ddr with ECC
DRAM is built into RAM
cs, pubg, cod, tomb rider, assassins creed, cyberpunk and any other new game that comes out basically lol
The 5900x would be a great fit for you
@daring berry dram is desktop, sdram is laptop
280 pin dimm is desktop, 260 pin sodimm is laptop
how about motherboard and cpu?
Okay. I'm asking because I purchased the Corsair Vengeance Pro RGB 2×8Gb 3600 DRAM
But I just saw a discount price for the Same Item but it's mentioned SDRAM
Ah okay. That's is clear now
cpu would be 5900x motherboard would be a x570 unify because it's in my opinion the best board for the money for this price
got it thanks for the info man appreciate it
hmm sdram might stand for something else than I thought
but sodimm is laptop, dimm is desktop
No problem bro
Thought it was soldered dram lel
synchronous dram
although i think the d actually stands for something else, i cant remember
nope nvm, its just synchronous dram lol
in the article it was written that sdram is a bit slower than dram
The first one is what I ordered
The second one is the discount I found.
Just wanna know if my choice is the best.
PS: it's my first time building my own RIG
use pcpartpicker
I did but that's where I made my final build I'll get the newegg link
hm
Ick, screw corsair
@daring berry both are sdram it looks like
They're 1 letter apart part number wise
The first one is DRAM
The second one mentioned SDRAM
Eh, I'm gonna stick with the corsair ram
is this budget build good?
You're godam right. It's like the same. I really don't know what to think.
Anyone know good parts for a 20 usd pc
used
Okay
you could go to the dumpster and look for a pc there
go to the nearest house with a shotgun
Is there any PNY 3070 GPU blocks?
Yeah making one for my brother too
Thanks! Yeah I’ll need the luck this is my first pc build 😭
I have every part but the gpu and case
Still looking for the case
And waiting for the 3060
I need a nice mid tower case
Raspberry Pi zero
Yeah I saw the meshify it’s pretty nice
What exaclty would you need the usb c port for
Ah ok
Does it come with included fans
Or car
Wow nice
I like the case just maybe not the front panel....probably because it’s “mesh”
Which is much better for airflow though
Oh ok
Did you get white or black
Can you see rgb fans through the front panel
yeah I saw that case too it’s pretty nice...
I’m just very picky with cases and don’t like the front panel on the 400d haha
Yeah I might go with the meshify
I like both
oooh I like the p360a
then the p360a is 2x120mm rgb intake
The p400a is $90 that's what I'm getting
Exaclty what I’m looking for on the p360a
A very sleek design
does it have good airflow
yes
Mesh c is decent
you can also get more of that type of fan, its called sk120
I think I’m gonna go with the p360a
so that it matches
Get Montech flyer
that one doesn't have the best airflow
yes
Ok I think I’m going to go with the p400a
I really like the look of it
It has good airflow right?
front mesh though
Oh really
yeah it’s not bad

Oh yeah I like the lian Li lan cool 2 mesh
Pretty nice
Do you think the lancool mesh 2 is good?
I did like the lancool 215 but the front fans are huge
200 ml
I think it’s nice
I might go with it
Yeah my pc will be on my desk
Yeah ok that’ll be fine
I’ll send a pic when everything is done to see if it’s in a good place
Yeah so I think imma go order the lancool 2 mesh rn
I can’t see if it comes with fans though
Ah ok
So is this the right one
It says rgb in the title
Ok thanks I’m gonna go order it
I hope it’s not really big though
I mean it does say mid tower...
hey just got the 3090 GPU..... what's the purpose of 2 VGA pin inputs on the card, is that just the ability to do hdmi 1 and hdmi 2 or is there a performance benefit?
Alr thanks
@brittle ore you should plug in all 8/6 pin connectors
its not a thing about performance benefits, just that card needs a lot more power
fractal is tiny but it has a lot of space for cable management if you take out the hard drive bay
yee i have that set up rn
Damnn the lian Li is huge then
Kind of changes my mind now
I have a good amount of space
I jus don’t really want a huge case
fractal would be good then
I really like the Corsair 4000x but it’s pretty expensive
which one do you think
The Corsair 4000x
Or lian Li 2 mesh
By the picture you sent it’s smaller than the lian Li
17.83 x 9.06 x 18.35 inches
I've bought some abomination and I'm gonna upgrade it to be hopefully functional.
I've got an i5 3570 in it now, and it has 16gb of ddr3. I'm thinking about putting a 1650 in it for now, because that's what my budget allows.
yeah idk
I like both
Jus like the look for Corsair more
Wait so wdym it gets stuck in the fans
is the 2060 S still a good gpu in 2020 perf wise
