it'd be something like 5800x>10700k>9900k>3700x
And the difference between 3800x and 3700x is minimal, doesn't make sense to buy a 3800x over a 3700x imo

Actual miracle I got what I did today though. I had a Spidey sense tingle force me out of bed to check microcenter stock and low and behold the stocked my cpu. The 25+ units (actually 50 from what staff said) had been reduced down to 3 by the time I got dressed and rolled over there. Currently they are out.
Got the case for $240 instead of $280, and I got the mobo for $255 instead of $300 from price matching. I really shouldn't have gotten the mobo that cheap though because that price on newegg applied for open box and the one I got at microcenter wasn't open box

I'd try checking those first, then trying to change the board level data and USB headers to see if that might be the culprit. All else fails, there's the reset pin on the commander

Case fan screws always suck. What you're hearing is most likely the threads in the plastic fan.

It's not "other things". SSD's don't have the full 1 TB capacity. It has to do with 1 KB = 1024 bytes, not 1000
1 TB is 10^12 bytes. So, 931GB = 931 x (1024^4) = 10^12

the fans didn’t spin, when i turned it on, it seemed like nothing was on at all, the psu didn’t even seem on, maybe i plugged wires in wrong or the case wasn’t compatible or something

I assume you're a smart guy. That's a pretty straight forward walkthough
I would pull it out, test it. And double check all the wires. Before connecting the cpu try just connecting the motherboard and fans to see if they work (if your psu passes the test that is)
Also linus just did a video on static and it was almost impossible even with exaggerated staic for linus to kill some ram

The build is too far gone. You failed
But @little osprey it could be anything you just have to troubleshoot and narrow down
If psu passes then try motherboard and fans. If that passes then try with cpu power connected. Another issue it could be is the case connectors. Super easy fix. The power is 2 wide. It could be the wrong way. Every case labels them different
