So the b550 didn't naturally work with the 5000 series CPUs. A recent bios version allows them to work together, but you have no real way of knowing if you got a super recently made board or not

Other things to do : fully remove the front panel connections and replace them paying careful attention to what pins and polarity are where

Make sure you actually press power on on the case

See if when it powers up it lights up an 8 segment display or an error led with a code from your mobo manual

Look at whatever your manual has for error reporting (8 segment or an led or maybe it beeps, in which case you need to make sure your speaker pins are plugged in)

Other options can be remove all but one piece of ram in whatever your mobo says is the first slot to put stuff (usually 2nd slot from.left in a 4 slot kotherboard
