And if you’re going with a Z490 board. Then get a k variant intel chip and a beefy cooler to do some over clocking on the chip itself. Not the RAM itself

So what I’m trying to say is this: when going for a budget build when it comes to Intel chips. You’re pretty much capped at effective speeds for RAM at 2666 because of the limitations of Intel boards. If you find a board that supports something like 2933, go for it. But expect diminished returns. Especially on a non-K variant on something other then a Z490 board
