The main two are 3200mhz and 3600mhz so those should be the only thing looked at for the motherboard when it comes to RAM speeds supported

@pseudo forge Gold+ are usually recommended and some can be trash. EVGA and Corsair ik a lot of people recommend, but some can still suck

Always play it somewhat safe by getting a decent amount more wattage than say pc part picker might show

top mount (perfect) > front mount tubes down (still good) > front mount tubes up (not significant performance loss but may be noisier) > bottom mount (will murder your temps and aio)
