BAHAHAHAHAHAHA THE rx580 is worse than a 1650 super
π₯±π
tbh I'll prob trigger so many people if I made a 3100+3070 list
BAHAHAHAHAHA
why did that send 4 times
so i should get a 3070 and go a little over budget?
yes
yes
wow uh
11 hunnid
ok let me see what my dumbass can do
π
imma just help out jn this chat like 3-5 times a week
And learn
So i dont ever get a rx 580 in a $1000 build
LOLOL

a bit better
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7cJKp2
dayum ok
is founder edittion good?
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ydw2mk
destroy me for this
@languid cedar yes
no better than standard
hahahah
depends how deep u look
@weak field not too bad, swap cpu+mobo to 3100+b550 imo, 2060 model is overpriced, case is... eh, get a EVGA BA 500w for cheaper for PSU
there's a cheaper 3600c18 kit
Reason: Bad word usage
hmmm yes
bruh i rlly said fword dumby
I was gonna use the dumb@ss
To get away
But i typed the f word smh
i made a 97k list yestey
Im sondunb
deleted
fck
BRUH
i can say that
Send the list
yeh mate
The PC isnt bad, the value is lmao
oi you got a prolum
it needs more rgb
i ought smac u up wit da stal crumpit fo dat mate
@weak field this is pretty destroyed by my standards, enjoy! >:D
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/2dp6rr
skunked
i gut to go
Ah yes, CL22
1500 budget any suggestions
3070
@grim raptor https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mr1111/saved/HhWv3C
??? except @stoic island i know
how can it be CL22.... lol
@narrow rose looks like early ddr4 days silicon
there ya go
lemme see if my mobo has support for two nvme slots
answered ya own question :D
decent ig
1/10, not enough noctua fans
Ok can u fix it
Eh it needs more crucial ram

even those 64g sticks dont have a 22 case latency
Is 27inch monitor to small for 1440p
how do I check the latency on my ram?
Or does it matter
@eager flower timings in bios, the sticker on the ram, sales invoice, packaging the ram came in....
work with Noctua
The same virtues that have established Noctua products as an elite choice among demanding PC enthusiasts also make them ideal for a wide range of industrial applications. For example, our fans and heatsinks are being used in fields as diverse as solar engineering, LED cooling,...
Its a laptop, Ill check the latency through bios
@fleet pagoda size doesnt really matter for 1440p other than going with too large of a display and 27" is not too large
@eager flower if you have the laptop serial number or whatever you could look it up

Ill see
Eh Im too lazy to get the box, ill just get to the BIOS, gotta check some stuff anyways
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/h63PXb
@whole harbor I dont think that is going to fit in that case lol
Someone wanna rate my Aorus Build?
@narrow rose its good
Gigabyte makes all that?
Attempt to boot into bios #1: fail
And aorus
posts too fast ill do another method
So yeah, Gigabyte
no gigabyte case fans π¦
They don't make em π©
Also, if I was to build this, I don't know if I would keep the c300
I haven't heard a soul say that the airflow is good
But I also haven't heard anyone say it wasnt
need to buy a bunch of aorus cpu coolers and steal the fans off them
Right?
Lol
I'm sure if you talked with Aorus, they'd send them to you, or find out what brand actually makes them, and buy those and throw a sticker on em
lol true
We know they aren't noctuas, so we can eliminate them
Also, those fans are exhaust fans only
So maybe not what you wanna have a bunch of
I can check my ram, but not itβs speed or CL, where do I find that?
No like in my laptop lmao
@sharp tundra I also dont understand the 256g drive is that just for the rgb?
Yeah, I put it on so I could have rgb
Id also put the os and other stuff on there too
cause its like it cant even be for windows since the 2tb is faster lol
buy a better ssd and slap a glow stick on it there rgb
Well, if I can take the rgb cover off that stick and put it on the 2tb I would
only official aorus fireflys TM
^^
Does amd create the mbs?
No
not really
What company
they help with the design
Comes up with them
Any and all?
amd gives guidelines and third parties build/design them
The chip set name?
same way nvidia has lots of people make their GPUs
Just whatever they come up with ig
Or just cause
there is never any rhyme or reason to names in the tech industry
like if AMD called their next cpus Zen x the 100 series no one would even bat an eye
The "ideal" mobo tho is an x570 with pcie 4.0
And wifi, but like, every x570 board has wifi
Names are hard, I thought the x570 was an intel mobo for a loooong time
I think intel uses Z and A?
oh yeah they like to do that x299 x470 z370 b450 who knows whats going on
x299 is intel
Oh
Maybe just the number layout then
Idk honestly, I only care about x570 and b550
just arbitrary letter and numbers
like when I say a 480 gpu what do I mean
could be nvidia or amd
nice @sharp tundra
I was expecting the 3070 from the list but still nice
Nah, thats a wish list
its a good card
That'll be my next build
Or a full corsair build
I haven't decided
I love both so much
I have a close to EVGA build but not on purpose
Nilboggen I can'tfind my cas latency izn the BIOS or on the manufacturors site, any other suggestions?
what is the laptop manufacturers code or whatever on the sticker on the laptop
I can look it up
model number
thats what I was grasping for model number
@sharp tundra I dont mind the way the 2080ti looks and the aio is actually nice looking and their lights sync
Yeah, I'm leaning towards the corsair build first cause all my peripherals are gonna be corsair, and I like matching things
@eager flower DDR4 PC4-19200 β’ CL=17 β’ Single Ranked β’ x8 based β’ Unbuffered β’ NON-ECC β’ DDR4-2400 β’ 1.2V β’ 1024Meg x 64 17-17-17-17
ah worse than it hought, ty
np
yeah thats massive jeez
π
lil chungus
mine takes 3 slots though
lolol
thats lil chungus nilboggen
what he got
@sharp tundra nomad welcome to the world of bigger cards lmao jk
Size comparison to the rest of my stuff
lol
is that a itx board?
yeah
yeah I didnt look at it
lol
just a little wider than an itx
I got a 1080ti ftw3 in my 280x
nice'
decent price
height wise I can just barely squeeze in my pcie connectors
touching the glass, but if they are in they are in
i needed a new case for my 3080
too be fair case makers didnt know how crazy GPUs were going to get
I remember having trouble getting my gtx480 in my antec case of some kind back in the day
had to cut some of the drive cages with a dremel since they were welded in there
you jus made diypc bankrupt with your idea smh niboggen
looks nice very clean
It's nice
my first (technically 2nd) build so I kinda knew what I was doing
want to see mine its like a horror show inside?
kinda worried about sag though, does it look fine?
yeah it looks good
@narrow rose sure
at least the gpu is great
looks niceeeee
bruh joker why didnt you route your cables through the bottom smh
see if you dont have a window.....
JOE
and also because I live in texas and it is damn hot here
hahahah
i wish shiv you
@narrow rose that's the trick
no need to spend hours on cable management when you just don't have to look at it
and even though you cant tell the rgb on the cooler and gpu match as they cycle even though you have to take the lid off to see it
mhm
yeah, you should see the back side of joker's build, according to him its a rats nest and honestly it shouldnt matter if you're not looking at it 24/7
worst thing is I bought a nice case and custom loop stuff and have been putting it off for like a year now
now I rationalize it because the 8700k is too old to be custom cooling lol
@idle hawk hows that 3080 treating you? it looks great
like the little display
I personally won't upgrade till 4xxx series cause I just got my 1080ti in there, still a beast and will be my baby for the next 2 years
@idle hawk and what would that problem be?
im using an outdated driver
ohhh
455.56
I think AMD already talked about their rx7000 and r6000 series so you might wanna plan for sooner @merry badger
had a new driver for nvidia yesterday i think
I'm keeping this for 2 years at least, then we upgrade or build a new system
yeah 1080ti is still a great card
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/fgpC68 rate for GTA V?
457.30 was 11/09/20
Budget is as close to $600 as possible
im using that driver cause of gigabyte
@little osprey for GTA V its an A+
π
I'm on 457.09
@little osprey i'd get a b550 board, reliable ones normally go for 80-100 bucks
Someome ik is trying to get an Acer laptop that's an i5, 8gb ram, 1650, and 256gb for $600
@idle hawk LOL its not for the screen is it?
update it now? any issues with the most recent one?
I knew it
the software wont dectet the card
π€£π€£π€£ @narrow rose I forgot to add a psu
lol yeah I noticed I figured you were just using an old one
So I have a 3600 and I was wondering what GPU I should pair up with it since my 970 just died. Should I wait and try to get a next gen 3000/6000 series card or get something now that is now outdated
@ebon cedar a 3070 would be ideal
Have you guys seen the 6800xt design?
Y would I use a 1660?
@little osprey do u already have ram
?
@ebon cedar depends on what your budget is
Thats a beautiful gpu
Budget is about $800 Canadian max
I own a 5500xt, why would I get a 1660?
lol
It's not even a 1660S
But I donβt wanna blow my budget just for the gpu to be bottlenecked by my cpu
@whole harbor for someone else....let me guess I forgot that to...
Now I fell like an idiot
@little osprey $600 budget
π€¦ββοΈ
What parts do uhave
I really like how the nvidia founders cards looked and thought they were way more out there on design
@little osprey
It's for someone else, not me
@whole harbor mind if I dm you my current setup?
So I have a 3600 and I was wondering what GPU I should pair up with it since my 970 just died. Should I wait and try to get a next gen 3000/6000 series card or get something now that is now outdated
@ebon cedar do you have a list with you?
A list? Lol
like what are you specs essentially
why are there people selling used 1080tis and used 2070 supers for around 500 dollars when you can get a 3070 and why are people buying them
Let me see Iβll pull it up
ight
a 1080ti cost like 700 bucks when it first released iirc
yea but used they should be more like 300 now
but dang
is a used 1070 ti for $250 worth it?
I got mine for 300, seems like a reasonable price
1070 ti is still a good card @whole harbor
a 3070 cost like 500 dollars, so thats not a great deal (for the 1080ti)
I'd say for 250 yea
Ive been told that its not worth
1070 ti for 1660 super price
U can get for cheaper
try to lower it to like 225
Ive heard
Reason: Duplicated text
bruh i only read a little bit
@balmy patio ill pm
ok
bot deleted it
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hrhbK3
My current build
Keep in mind I'm still running an Asus rog strix 5500XT gpu
I wanna put my cpu cooler on my mobo, but I don't have a case yet.
48 gigs of ram?
Yeah best buy gave me wrong ram and I didn't care
Oh it does
have you checked what chip both of the modules have
I ordered a second pair of the OLOy, but they gave me the corsair instead
@green kestrel nope
But they're running in sync perfectly fine
Salvecai dms
Timing match and everything
OLOy worth it or nah?
They are totally worth it @sharp tundra
They're running on the same timing as the corsair vengeance
Anyways. Time to complain about my work hours
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3fR78J
I am thinking about my PC having parts like this and a Radeon RX 6800 or 6800 XT.
Also I need help finding a compatible motherboard and CPU cooler that would work good and wouldnβt be over priced.
Finally what do I do for the Compatibility issue for the motherboard that needs a bios update to run the 5600X. I mean thatβs what PC Part Picker says and this is going to be my first PC so I canβt just do the bios update with an old CPU . IDK tho ...
Yes, but there is differences that cause inefficiencies other than timing and speed
7 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday are my work hours
Having 2 different bramd sticks is gonna cause problems most of the time
Ok Iβm back complaining over
7 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday are my work hours
@little osprey see I want something like that. Not where my hours are hinged on some wonky weekends
Like I go from working 16 hours this week to working just 12 the next. And itβs after someone quit also
@sharp tundra the only issue I'm having is with my ssd's but to fix it I need a new mobo, but I'm not willing to go thru with that effort
@karmic bobcat I work on ATVs. As in repairing them
Now I told them I donβt mind working more hours and Iβll take the entry level pay for the time being. But that discussion Iβm going to save for the mandatory staff meetings
Thatβs neat. I just work as a court monitor at a trampoline park
Are they the same voltage tho?
Yep
Exaxtly?
Same speed, timing, and size?
Everything but size
That'll cause issues right there
Two are 8gb 3200, 2 are 16gb 3200
@sudden jolt whats your budget?
@rustic sandal that build is gorgeous, jelly you got a 3080
nice
okok i'll see if i make changes and will explain

@balmy patio ok no problem thank you

I got my specs in my name now
hrm
Build suggestion for Solidworks ,Catia etc for around $1500 cpu only or $2000 for full setup.
@sharp tundra same
Wait.....$1500 cpu only?
π³
What kinda cpu you getting? A thread ripper?
Re_Taekwando said "$1500 cpu only or $2000 for full setup"
A very questionable thing
I'm reading that as the cpu costs $1500 everything else costs an additional $500
@kind solstice what in gods name do you need a $1500 CPU for while everything else including peripherals cost $500
Wait.....$1500 cpu only?
@little osprey I meant cpu + motherboard + graphics +ram +ssd for $1500 and with accesories (monitor+keyboard +mouse) for $200
I am hella confused
phew
Ahhh ok
@kind solstice ooooo
That sounds SOOOO much better
i have a shmeh list
Sorryy my bad..
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ptyY9N @sudden jolt i added better ram, and i better i meant that i added ram that had lower cas latency, added a b550 mobo, a nvme drive that's faster than the p1, added in the 6800xt and changed the psu to a phanteks amp 750
I almost had an aneurysm
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qsHcbh terrible
@balmy patio ok thank you very much I appreciate it
@sudden jolt theres also this option for the psu https://pcpartpicker.com/product/CQNgXL/enermax-revolution-df-850-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-erf850ewt
i was tires dont judge me
i should sleep
Same^
@balmy patio wait the motherboard is mini ATX in and ATX case
yeah
@weak field I'm glad it didn't fry anything
Everything thing else is beautiful in my opinion
lucky it wasnt one that held the motherboard in majorly
@balmy patio wait the motherboard is mini ATX in and ATX case
@sudden jolt it will be fine, most, if not all, atx cases support atx, mats, and itx mobo's
@weak field nah, just held my OS NVME to my mobo
just make sure the stand-off's are correctly placed
@balmy patio ok thank you
But it will it have any difference in anything
And it just snapped in the middle of Destiny 2
Or is it perfectly fine and makes 0 difference
Mustve been a defective standoff
@sudden jolt be more specific in what you're trying to say
can anyone benchmark solidworks in system with ryzen 7 ??
Should a mini ATX motherboard be bad in anyway compared to a regular ATX
@sudden jolt should? No. Limited? Yes.
Is there any downgrades
But should mini ATX be fine or will ATX work better is my real question
Youβll still get your slots and all. But you wonβt have more then 1 NVMe, limited sata, limited ram speed, but apart from that? Nah. You wonβt notice it for a gamer
Ok
I just wanna make sure I got this right. Wifi motherboards come with built in wireless wifi?
Yes
Ok thanks
π
This is going to be my first PC and I am coming from a cheap iPad that didnβt run games higher can 60 FPS all low settings and it only has 32 gbs of storage so I think I will be fine then right @karmic bobcat
Tho I prefer them to not have built in wifi
That one does have built in WiFi
yes, it does
Well I would choose it without built in wifi but itβs easier for me to get it with wifi rn
There's nothing wrong with built in wifi, I just prefer them not to
they prob have the e-key slot occupied with a wifi card
Also how does WiFi work with PCβs I know it shoulda dumb but ..
Like it does with everything else
This is going to be my first PC and I am coming from a cheap iPad that didnβt run games higher can 60 FPS all low settings and it only has 32 gbs of storage so I think I will be fine then right @karmic bobcat
@sudden jolt whatβs your build?
Does anyone even know how wifi even really works?
yeah sorta
Like do I buy a router and connect the PC
Satellites
Internet go brrrrr
^
@sudden jolt yeah you'll need wifi access
Aka a wifi router
Even for ethernet you'll need a wifi router
Yea this is the first pc Iβm building lol. The only mistake Iβve made so far is I got a mobo too big for my case π
But ethernet is you connected to router directly thru an ethernet cable
I returned it so it fine but yea
What are the biggest downsides to a b450 board in comparison to a b550
It doesnβt have gen 4 lanes
no pci-e gen 4, no compatibility with future processors
@little osprey yea I would use an Ethernet cable but it would be a lot of work for me to buy it long enough and set it up from my room to the router
I'll probably have a b550 and a 6800xt by april
Would it be more wise to go for a b550 then
Just get another router and run a cable wire into your room
GG
Yes
Go with a B550
Okay
or you can get a powerline adapter, that's a cheaper option
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ptyY9N @sudden jolt @karmic bobcat
@karmic bobcat omg how could I have been so 2Head
And it can either be π or π
My only concern
Is that mobo
Because of the VRAMs
Yeah thatβs my only concern too
Just go with a B550 Tomhawk Wifi
This is my first pc for around 800 dollars. Later on Iβll be upgrading it and someday Iβll have a better pc than my brotherβs prebuilt which he always brags is better than what mine will be π
TBH if prices fall enough I might get a 2080ti and go custom loop cooling with it and my cpu around april
Also, same here bed time
Would the phantom gaming 4 pro from ASRock be okay as a b550 board
Bro I know someone who spent 1200 on a 8700 and a 1060 3GB
Would the phantom gaming 4 pro from ASRock be okay as a b550 board
@hasty gyro yes
Okay
Alr night night guys
Gn
Asrock is basically a sister company to Asus. It's basically Ford(Asrock) and Lincoln(Asus) only in this case Lincoln owns Ford
It's the same thing
bruh ford is america and toyota is japan, which is closer to where asrock and asus started off
smh
And toyotas are better than ford
more affordabel
Subaru the best tho
bruh the boxer engine is good but trash at the same time
ask away
dont ask to ask, just ask
how low is your budget?
and what are your needs
make sure that your motherboard has a video output option, and that your cpu has integrated graphics
Got 1500-2000 $ budget
you looking for a list?
i have a list but can you check if it is a good build
sure
i need a budget freindly pc
Also if you know any good monitors and MNK
till 6k
and the rest i will use for games and pheripherals
what
ok
but i have to tell
it is not usd
it is qatari riyals
umm i just have one
this one
see this one
it has all of this
Reason: Duplicated text
Bruh, I just seen how small the 3070 is, ita smaller than my 5600xt
thats why i selected a powerful laptop also
what
in photos it looks like that
ok
Huh?
yeah
No, the 3070 is smaller that a 2080ti
ok
i dont know anything about pc building and stuff
i just watch videos of linus tech tips and austin evans
Yeah man, rtx 3070 is tiny
Depends
Whatever you doing with it?
What are you going to be doing with a 30series?
You could've just said gaming
3070 or 3080 if you're just doing gaming
3090 if you're gonna be doing some serious editing
i do not do serious editing actually just some animations etc
Tbh 3090 will be crazy expensive
A 3080 might be good for you then
It's a Titan branded card so ....
my friends discord friend does the serious editing stuff
ok
yeah i dont want the 3090 it is to expensive
A 3070 is what you get for casual gaming, a 3080 is what you get for more extreme gaming and editing, and 3090 is what you get for big workloads
i think 3070 or the 3080 is good for mr
I'd go 3070
id go for 3080
Even a 3070 is on the high end i wouldnt say its casual for most people
Or go Radeon 6000 series, they're cheaper and supposed to out preform the 3080
Bruh, 3070 is becoming the new casual
4k gaming at over 60fps?
Not a lot of cards can do that
umm i only like the ryzen chipsets not the video cards
yeah at 500 bucks, it basically screams at you to buy it
They'll have ray tracing too
Maybe in a few months atm no i wouldnt say it is since ya know stock and just people affording it in gneral
dude but even the rtx has ray tracing
3080
3070 defo worth the buy but if you can fit in budget 3080 is defo worth the upgrade for the performance you get to price
Rtx stands for ray tracing @cursive wolf
ok stop the video card talk
XD
ok now i need cpu talk
go ahead
ok stop the video card talk
@cursive wolf this is build chat lol
what cpu you recommend
Whats budget?
Threadripper
And what are you suing for?
threadrupper indeed
dude thredripper is not for gaming
very fine choice
dude thredripper is not for gaming
@cursive wolf Do you need a budget gaming cpu or?
So?
i need a budget gaming cpu
if hes looking into gaming and high-end video editing, amd wins with the 5900x and 5950x
Theoretically you could still game on it
Anyone here used the ek classic kits? Looking at a custom loop for my next build but have no experience
how much are you willing to spend on the cpu @cursive wolf
is water cooling good though
it is good
for the cpu
yes
ok
yes
bruh go with a higher end cpu
Good choice
3600 is still a great choice 5600x will be a better choice once price drops in few months by about 50 less @cursive wolf
You don't need a super high end cpu for gaming tho, most games aren't cpu heavy
yeah
or the intel 9 10900k
Eww
a 3100 is fine fore gameing
No
Thats not budget lmao
Gross
i dont need intel though
Damn straight
i am a ryzen guy
Good stay that way
jus get the 5900x or 5950x at that budget
Plus you could just get a 5900x which just makes the i9 10900k obsolete
ok
5900x is better for gaming
Well unless the i9 10900k price drops drastically
is the ryzen 9 5900x a thing
Which it wont
yes
Yes
ok
5900x is a thing
show me a picture from google of the box or something
go onto google images
literally not that hard lmao
just get a 5600x if you plan to get a i9 10900k or a 5900x if you have the extra cash
Bruh, I could build you a pc if you tell me what your budget is
Perfect for whatever you need
qatari riyals remember
oh bruvf
not usd'
i am not rich like you dudes
What currency?
the one they use in qatar
one rial is 27 cents usd
What currency is that lmao
Oh boi
thats about a 2400 budget (not counting shipping and taxes)
ok
Defo
Reason: Duplicated text
Bruh, could I have it?
ok lemme see if i can come up with a list for you jack
just build the list for me
Why have u put on 2 NVME drives of the same type as well when you could just get one 2TB NVME my head lol
Dude, I don't think half the stuff your buying is available in your country
why
i mean he can import it
No price available
he has the option to do that i think
hey so i already have a pc built but i have to move it between my moms and dads house every week and want to rebuild it in matx, is this good?
lemme see how much it'll cost
yes i have
Where's the cpu and gpu?
there is no cpu mother board or anything
i already have that stuff
ok ill see
oh
Oh okay
ill add the prices it'll cost to import
i just need a new case and mobo and psu
ok
i dont need the cooler but its a nice to have
so a 2lb import is about 150 rial
ill see what i can do
yeah jack, i have a 3600 and using the stock cooler rn
just go itx
ok
the DLM21 mesh isnt very small
ive only ever built one pc idk if i can handle itx
maybe if you had a budget you could get a corsair h60
some itx cases are easy to build in
@cursive wolf you ever been to an F1 race, Bahrain is like a walk a away from you
do you have any recommendations?
yes
and what would i be sacrificing with itx?
jack do you care about rgb?
ok
you'd be sacrificing little to none
ok
o11 dynamic isnt really itx lmao
yes
it looks nice and is small
or NR200 if its in stock
it isnt as good as the DLM21 mesh
but its good enough for your specs
ok
i also do have intention to buy a 3080
hey @latent storm
whats up
can you take a pic of your pc and show
@next kestrel will that case fit a 3080?
yes surely
i also do have intention to buy a 3080
@latent storm if you plan to get a 3080 it would be a good idea to find the best airflow case to size possible
@cursive wolf do you have peripherals?
no
Oh...
i was about to ask that
i have a keyboard and a mouse
@latent storm if you plan to get a 3080 it would be a good idea to find the best airflow case to size possible
@fast sable does the 3080 run stupid hot?
and the moniter is in the list
it runs hotter than most gpus
Okay that'll make it a bit easier
u know what just get a NR200
@fast sable does the 3080 run stupid hot?
@latent storm it can sometimes it fine but it does get toasty especially when u try overclocking
@fast sable does the 3080 run stupid hot?
@latent storm the 3080 has air pass through to make it run cooler, it also doesn't get too terribly hot
i dont think im gonna overclock
unless u custom loop bruh
But that statement above is kinda dependent on if you have a case and f ans that allows good airflow
i dont know how good these fans are at airflow tbh
nzxt cases and airflow dont really go together
https://qa.pcpartpicker.com/list/FKBXy4 @cursive wolf i recommend you doing your own research on the laptop, monitor, and external drive, since pcpp is kinda wacky with those, the case i choose was something you can change if you'd like, and also, the price on the 3080 isn't really exact
but hey, they look nice and cost decent
thats so unfortunate
nzxt cases and airflow dont really go together
@next kestrel yea they arent known for thermals just looks and reliability
bc that case looks super nice
idk i've never done a list so high end, so i think there can be some edits here and there
https://nz.pcpartpicker.com/list/qWGpHz review if you want ig
will i be able to get a 240mm aio in a mini itx case?
the NZXT one, yes
What's everyones thoughts on the GIGABYTE GTX 1660 Ti
why buy 1660ti
So you need a ITX due to space or just portability?
bro im not sure i dont know which case i want yet
hey the motherboard is not compatible with the others
yeah i need to transport it quite often
@next kestrel I can get a good deal on atm
ok
when u could get 5600xt
@next kestrel truth though
@latent storm your pc looks good
@cursive wolf any mobo manufactured recently will have the bios update that will make it able to identify zen 3 chips
ok
i think my list is more better
because you guys are givin lists without pheripherals and etx
didnt you say u had a mouse and key?
no its jus that your list didn't really have included pricings
the b550 pro is to powerful too
bruh you had a x570 in the list prior to mine
honestly your matx build was fine
b550 is the new norm board for ryzen...
just that ITX is a lot more small
even in your there is no price for two things
man
you forgot the price for both the rtx 3080 and the liquid freezer
and i forgot to add storage
bruh this the type of things that happen when you go past your bedtime smh
yes and also forgot the case and power
???
go to bed smh
i was just kinda afraid to go with itx because it just seems a lot harder to build in
thats the list i sent?
yeah you have those i forgot
Hi this might be a dumb question but I'm a noob at PCs so I'm asking. What would be a better combo a Ryzen 5 3600/i7 9700k and a rtx 3080 or a Ryzen 5 5600x/Ryzen 7 3700x and a 3070. I'll be using it for a lot of gaming and maybe some occasional streaming and video editing. I'll also be playing on a 1440p 144hz monitor probably some fps and some story driven games.
dude where is the storage
why are itx motherboards so expensive?
you put the price now but forgot the storage'
why are itx motherboards so expensive?
@latent storm cuz its harder to fit everything into a smaller form factor
you have to change the motherboard too
why
it has give compatibilitie warnings
see
Warning! Some AMD B550 chipset motherboards may need a BIOS update prior to using Vermeer CPUs. Upgrading the BIOS may require a different CPU that is supported by older BIOS revisions.
most new b550 motherboard that was shipped recently comes with the bios update needed to identify zen 3 cpu's
@balmy patio i summon you
dont trust pcpp warnings for the most part
and if you're worried that it doesn't, it has bios flashback which enables you to upgrade the bios from a usb stick without needing a cpu
then if there is warnings then change the mother board
get a b550
these things are so expensive this is so cringe
b450 ew
sorry
bruh joker thanks for summoning me
hey get a asus mother board
lmao i need a 800-1200 pc build
wow this is crazy
for a friend
the only b550 itx mobo thats under $150 is an asrock one that doesnt look great for $119
bruh i gotta go sleep now
@cursive wolf ping me in like 8 hours if you still need help
@cursive wolf Alright, all done.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Q9c9rr
