For spamming one word lines over and over again
@little osprey chill be patient he cant do everything at once
its for me tho 🥺
And just the whole attitude. I vote ban
Yes ik wait tho hes making them
@little osprey 700$

@little osprey 800$

Mr1111 revised https://pcpartpicker.com/list/gDgf8J
I mean
you also have the choice between either 70$ mic setup, or like a 20$ modmic, your choice tho.
Boom pro is more expensive than I remember, but close nuff

mhm
Peripherals dont matter as much as the actual pc
Wait @stoic island does it matter whether the psu is single or multi rail
CPU or PSU
oh
Eh it's preferred to be multi rail above 750w
for better COP protection
Ok so enermax is better than corsair
one sec
The revolution vs rmx
I thought RMx was multi rail
Not according to linus psu list
mr1111
yea d.f. is more preferred for a 850w unit then
NO
why
why not nzxt
airflow is?
it's exactly what it sounds like
air
air-flow-through-case
and you know what stops air
solid front panel
damm
tell me what
brand to get
case
frmo
from*
Airflow on the nzxt h710 isn't too bad
Thermals are surprisingly good
mr1111
what brand
GN did a review on it
should i get case fro,
from*
Sliger
He's going to tell you to get a TD500 mesh so just do that
@little osprey nah, the first 2 lists had mx330 because the budget doesn't allow for a good case, last list was a 275r airflow because cheap-ish
Ah ok, sry I just dropped in
Reason: Duplicated text
Ban now?
i think its an i7-5600U
with a whopping two cores four threads
and a blazing base clock of 2.2ghz
2.6 on the 5600U
Ryzen 3 3100 and RTX 2060 or Ryzen 5 3600 and GTX 1660 Super?
wouldnt the 3100 bottleneck a 2060 while the 3600 wont bottleneck the 1660s as much
^
also, the 2060 doesn't provide that much more performance for how much more it can cost
Was thinking of playing modded mc, rocket league, warzone and streaming sometimes
no
More just casual gaming and streaming sometimes
def 3600 then
3100+2060 does better than 3600+1660s in games
o
3100 will let him stream?
gpu encoder
yes
o tru
It's not CPU side
forgot bout that
so 2060 ok
at least you'll have room to upgrade in the future going with 3100
time to start ordering parts I think I'm ready :D
tbh, even though the 3600 would be better in a lot of use cases, its overpriced right now, 3100 isn't so much
pretty sure the entire ryzen lineup is overpriced 😭
I need cable/zip ties right?
I have the screwdrivers, is there anything else I need?
Well I have a few things but idk if I'll need them.
is your area prone to static
Hardwood floor, so doubt it.
It's going to be on one of those plastic fold out tables my family has.
What about an anti static wristband?
And plug my psu into an outlet and attaching it to the psu
MR111
yeah and turn the power supply off when you do that
I NEED A
CPU RECCOMENDATION
PLEASE
AND
TY
oh
offline
kms
anyone else
wanna give me
cpu recommendation
budget purpose?
cpu recommendation for what
budget and main use?
gaming
^^
3600 is what i recommend for gaming and budget
k
let me make a list for you
if ur strictly gaming, the 10300 is pretty good
i read your budget wrong
please stop
yes ryzen is good for productivity, but if ur just gaming, intel is the better of the two
oh my b 10400
the 10400 is $180 rn
maybe a little higher
r5 3600 is $200
What you guys think https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rzgWXb
well, unless it goes back down to $175 then it could be considered. nothing wrong with Intel though
@idle compass could you wait for zen3?
@idle compass could you wait for zen3?
@little leaf Yeah Im not building till mid november
alright good. Zen 3 chips come out on Nov 5
@idle compass Ok theres alot of problems with this build
yo
@little osprey would u ever consider getting used parts?
Reason: Bad word usage
Reason: Too many infractions
But come back near the launch of zen3\
although it's not a gurantee. we have to wait for benchmarks
@spiral basin what used part were you going to reccomend him lol?
GPU obviously
Ik which one?
hmm depends really. a 10 series or used RX580 are good value rn
Stop typing in short bursts
my bda
@spiral basin lmao no
bad*
whats a good 2000-2200$ gaming and straming pc (probably want the 3080 when it goes back in stock)
does anyone have any cpu reccomendations for me
uh, what do u recommend instead then? a new 1660 super? xD
ryzen
yes lol
isnt a 3600 + 1660s a good combination for 700-800 dollars @little osprey
@little osprey the R5 3600 if u must go with Ryzen
until u consider u can get the RX 580 for as low as $100, for best value ofc
what do you think of the 3100 4 cores
@spiral basin you think a 580 competes with a 1660s?
hmm i suppose not compete, but definitely better value
europe itch
do i get a 3600
or a 3100
ryzen 5 3600 or ryzen 3 3100
or a ryzen 5 2600x
3100 is like $110 for a decent quad core CPU, so if u want to go really budget, it's an option
the R5 2600 is like $140 for 6 cores and 12 threads, so it's also a potential one
nah 3200G only if u want to use the iGPU lmfao
@spiral basin Could you stop reccomending people parts and just make a list if you want to make a list?
well i want them to put together a list themself and then I can give recommendations
There is no point you are giving them recommendations at various different price points just recommend them whats in their price range and make a list
Or you can ask
motherboard recommendations now
well also stuff like aesthetics and stuff
uh
like send a list so i can get a sense of what they want
how many frames?
@little osprey the X470 Gaming Plus Max is a really good budget board
@spiral basin stop and no
@little leaf uh what? it is a really good board for the price
for a 700-800 pc
i found a place where you can get a 3080 msi gaming trio for 862.99
How much is it?
you'll have to lower settings to achieve that with a new 1660 super
but yeah that's do-able
No you won't lol
um what
I have a 1070 can eaisly reach 100 frames in coid
part picker i just want above 100 frames
i've personally tested a 1660 super and at ultra it can only run at around 80-90 fps
and maybe like 120 frames but idk if thats to high
and that's on fortnite lmfao
@spiral basin he wants low to - med
yeah so lower settings
an $800 build will run games fine don’t worry aeqtra
still think used parts are better value than new but aight
@spiral basin are you on crack?
a 1660s can get more than 90 fps on ultra on fortnite
bro idk what ur on but u haven't given a single specific reccomendation this entire time
bro I've had the thing personally and it does not run that fast
is this a good streaming and gaming computer i still need the monitor but thats it https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sZmccT
unless you've benchmarked it urself and can tell me
Yes I get an average of like 100 frames on fornite
yo
either way
i just want my moterboard recommendation
whats budget again
motherboard*
@little osprey I'll just make you a list
pc budget is like 700-800
is this a good streaming and gaming computer i still need the monitor but thats it https://pcpartpicker.com/list/sZmccT
@ember frost AIO, board, RAM, PSU, and fans can def be changed "for better value"
i'd say b550 phantom but that's a little too high for an 800 build
but im sure @little leaf will say it's completely fine
could be a little lower
K
@spiral basin ok thank you
if u don't mind changing the full white aesthetic to a white/black one (I see your GPU is black), change the AIO to an EK 240 one, the board can be changed to an ROG STRIX B550-a board, just for the white aesthetic (it's not the best board, but it gets the job done for a lower price), for the RAM, have a look at Crucial Ballistix 3600mHz CL16 RAM. There's even an RGB variant if ur into that. a good PSU for this could be the Antec Earthwatts Pro 750W. As for fans, those ones are a bit overpriced. I'd recommend Arctic P12's, but Enermax SquA's are a potential white RGB fan option
i found a 3080 in stock for 869.99$ USD i can send link if want to see it?
and thank you again for the suggestion
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HfB3F8
@little leaf for me?
Yes
you don't need that extremely overpriced pack of fans at all tandoori
@little leaf for me?
@little osprey good list, although the t force vulcans can save u like $9 xD
Eh personally I've had multiple kits of vulcan fail on me
oh, why that NVMe?
mm i would go for a 512gb SATA SSD and then if they need more space, get a 2TB Seagate Barracuda in the future
...
@little osprey the B550m Pro VDH WiFi one he put is a really good choice
@little osprey are u going amd or intel
amd
ok
for the price, it has good VRMs, WiFi, and to boot the B550 chipset which may come in handy later
something you dont need to worry about
yeah, just something nice to have
its a "if everything else is good" then you can start thinking about it
something like the B450-f has lackluster ones for a $120 price, just for "aesthetics"
so should i just get the b550m pro vdh eifi
@spiral basin Most 2.5 ssds are about the same price atleast the ones with chace
yep
wifi*
its the Voltage Regulator Modules (in case you are wondering)
@spiral basin Most 2.5 ssds are about the same price atleast the ones with chace
@little leaf $40 is a bit less than $60 lol
every dollar counts for budget builds heh
yeah
yeah b550 is future proof
for the most part
you really have to take into account the amount of performance youre getting per buck when building at a low budget
@spiral basin keep in mind, there is "budget" and then there is "build that should NOT be built" budget ones
need help with building a pc. The games I will be playing is just csgo and minecraft. The build I am making will be using an i3-9100f with it's own stock cooler. B365M DS3H mobo
is the b450m tomohawk good?
@minor lynx could I have a budget?
@little osprey overpriced and over valued by a LOT
50,000inr
@little osprey I already gave you a list
and as @little leaf said, you got a list.
your questions are answered there.
@little leaf ping me when done
whats a good price range for a motherboard
personally i don't go over 150
you already have a good one that's picked out you don't need to worry
@minor lynx actually cant help rn
@minor lynx actually cant help rn
@little leaf oof
150-170 is prob a good one that will last and be future proof (b550 is more optimal than x570)
i grabbed a b550 phantom
DS3H is the cheapest option u can go for, but it's a decent board
no
prebuilt bad
build pc yourself add cool things feel happy and accomplished is better
not necessarily. prebuilts are for people that want the PC gaming experience without going through the long hours needed to create one
or a mini 1650 lol
i'd rather take the time to watch a few videos on building instead of wasting a couple hundred extra
i'd rather take the time to watch a few videos on building instead of wasting a couple hundred extra
@vital warren more to it than that...
@vital warren depends on how you value your time :)
fair
yeah well i'm still young so I have not had to really worry about time yet
so i see what ya mean
aye aye :) not jumping on you @vital warren :) just giving a bit of context :)
Reason: Bad word usage
Reason: Too many infractions
which is why it happened twice ;)
What do y'all think of this list? https://pcpartpicker.com/list/cyjxYg
Gigabyte B550M DS3H
MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI
difference of the 2
and which one you recommend
the DS3H is a good board, but if u need WiFi, the VDH is the better choice. Both are solid boards though
WiFi cards are like $30, so a WiFi adapter can come in handy if Ethernet is not an option
also @little osprey consider getting a used 1070 ti on EBay. I know "uSeD iS bAd" and all, but it's better than the 1660 super
but do you have an ethernet port?
ok DS3H is cheaper
im my router
wel
well*
the wifi vdh i feel like it the better choice
even though i dont know much
i mean, if u want WiFi...?
money saved can go to other stuff
DS3H doesn't have WiFi
so what does that mean
but that doesn't matter because you have Ethernet
if it doesnt have wifi
WiFi is only a must if u don't have Ethernet
you cant connect to wifi?
also Ethernet is usually faster and more reliable than WiFi
no the DS3H does not have a WiFi adapter
but that's pretty much the point. u don't need a WiFi adapter if you have Ethernet
the mobo has a gb Ethernet port in the back, iirc
no?
i am confused
Ethernet is a wired connection and WiFI is a wireless connection
oh ok
both can connect to the network, just through different means
WiFi is more convenient but not as fast or reliable as Ethernet
so just get the DS3H and connect the Ethernet cable from the wall port to the gigabit LAN port on the motherboard
@spiral basin almost the same as mine but i have a diffrent gpu, motherboard and ram
And storage
so not the same as urs xd
Hello Guys
I would Like To know the parts i need for a 700$ Pc build
Can Anyone suggest me the best ones?
yeah well what about the 3600 X
3600xt same price
So like which is the better one ?
3600
3600xt
OverCloaking can be done ryt?
ok lit lit
u can oc on the 3600 right?
and for the MB ?
you can oc any of them
actually
what about a 3100
im thinking of the same thing mr bait
wouldn't that be more affordable
if you are looking to do a proper oc, the 3600xt would be worth the extra 40
otherwise it doesnt matter
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm
then 3200 G with integrated graphics wud be better than ryzen 3100
3100 is close to 3600 in gaming performance if I remember correctly
3100 is like 2600 perf
YOU GUYS TOLD ME TO GET A 3600
3300x is, and only in very single threaded games
ohh
should i get a 3100???
Is it best to wait for intel's reveal o lf Cpu's b4 I ask for a list?
I have Budget For like 700$ so which one wud be best
yeah and i dont hardcore gaming
No get 3900x
shut up
Anyone have a good $1200-$1700 list?
That’s a big range
More like $1500-$1700 rgb or no rgb it don't matter to me
when do you need the system by?
No date
Just looking for something to save up for
Prolly not the smartest idea but idk
its best to wait, but theres new products launching very soon
amd has some stuff going up for sale in november
3600, obviously you want the better one
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZqkBPV
1800$ build
Gigabyte B550M DS3H
MSI B550M PRO-VDH WIFI
which one
should i get
Do you need wifi?
well, the msi one, is better
neither
Didn’t someone give you a build list already
I believe the msi one is better if I'm not mistaken
yeah it is, but its like 35 dollars more
Msi= has subsidiaries that scalp 3080’s out of msi inventory.
old news, already been resolved
can we drop the BS news posting that was 99.999% clickbait @night storm ?
bruh what do you need help with
just saying "help me" isnt gonna get you very far
ask your question, provide relevant information, and wait for someone to answer
i cant answer that
y
here, ill help you get on the right track
ok
what is your budget, what are you using this pc for?
The holy stickbug speaks
You must answer
uh
gaming
and 700-800
maybe
around there
gaming
and POOSIBLY
does that include monitor?
no i have a monitor
and keyboard and mouse
75hz is fine
so just the tower
when do you wanna order all the parts?
come back then
no one here can help you
Reason: Bad word usage
Reason: Too many infractions
Big oof
do note, he has gotten help already
rip
I didn't get to see it, I was looking up mobo recommendations
well
it happened
for the 3rd time
@little osprey you have a list.
i feel im getting close to a ban
and as sassy said, come back when you are 1-2 weeks away from buying
bye
cya
Breh
HAI
im getting my pc in about 3 weeks
idk what parts im gettin
my budget is
1.3k-1.5k
Could anyone here help recommend me a larger internal SSD for my computer? I'm currently using a 2TB, and I'd like something bigger. I mostly use it for gaming.
Can someone help me, I want to get a office pc build for my relatives b day but Idk what partsare good for office stuff and some video editing and blender too
zen 3 wont have stock cooler
@polar python if u wanna hit 240fps https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hJvyfP
Again its all in the silicon lottery
U paid for a lot of stuff u didnt need
O11 and no fans in list
@cloud oasis I'm fairly sure that the 5600x will come with a stock cooler
Actually it was comfirmed
@polar python Why not a 3080
just sub out the 3600 for 5600x
Why...
idk it just doesnt
lmao what?
5600X comes w/stock cooler because it's a 65W TDP, the others are 95/105/etc and won't because aftermarket air/AIO will be the preferred choice for most people
what
10600k oc'ed to 10900k specs?
Again, it depends on silicon lottery and we wont know until theres benchmarks
@cloud oasis usually amd isn't bad with their perf but ok
Would a 10600k oced to 10900k specs be better than a 10700k, and 3700x?
how is the 3070 bad???
bro pls
is a 3080 better or not?
obviously
chill with the overclocking stuff
why tho/
overclocking all depends on silicon lottery
U could get a 10900k and have it be worse than 10700k
@polar python Ok first
Yes?
^
Lmao wdym?
let him do what he wants
Why would you not want more perf for the same price
We just give him suggestions
I'm just saying its just not smart to get less for the same price
Which game?
fortnite
Then why
Any others?
My response to that why wouldn't you want more for less
It costs more
i play cod too
3080 is 200 more dollars
so get the 3070 right
Bro
um
@polar python My one question would you rather have more performance for the same price or no?
If the answer is no do whatever you want
What does that mean?
longevity?
I want something I wont have to upgrade for a few years
my budget may change in the upcoming weeks
What do you think will last longer? The one that is better or worse?
it seems like a lose lose situation
"bad" cpu good gpu
"good" cpu bad gpu
my budget may change in the upcoming weeks
ill come back once i 100% know
Im very sad since I just noticed I have a single dead pixel
one tiny black dot on my monitor
Punch it so it wakes up
bro ur literally not listening to the list i put
I got a question for an upcoming build I am doing.
I am going to have a total of four D rgb plugins in the final result of it, but my motherboard has only two slots for DRGB headers. Is there something I could use to control them all individually software wise; or is a splitter my only way of controlling them, but two at a time?
@polar python Bro, don't get a hard drive; It's going to make your pc run FAR slower than if you opt for an SSD or NVME
not the graphics card, I would advise a radeon 580
bit more expensive but way more performance
@obsidian wolf is that a actual question? or are you making a misdirected joke?
Nope, is for a friend who lives in latin america and he send a pic worsened than that and im just searching for the cheap mid range things as possible.
APU is the path
he can not spend more than 525 dollars
Well, first thing I see is that you have only one stick of slow ram
It would be better to opt for two sticks even if they have the same total capacity
Often times computers will have errors when only one ram stick is installed
get a 120gb ssd for windows, 1 tb hdd for standard storage
@ionic veldt just .. ... no.
1 ram stick just means it runs in single channel mode
Often times computers will have errors when only one ram stick is installed <- no relation between the two.
nothing.
I am not going by my experience here, But I've often seen many pre builts in videos held back with this
so the real question in here, What should i change in that build to help my friend?
being held back and having errors are different
held back is NOT errors.
Please if somebody can help me in that?
@obsidian wolf dont get another cpu cooler, the stock one keeps my 2600 below 50C
Okay, then scratch the error part I suppose
That's what I heard, not from actual experience
use money from that to get a 580
Side note, ~500usd can get you 1650 super + 9100f
Also try to get 2X 4 gb ram sticks, ryzen cpus love dual channel
With 2x8gb
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/XXZbj2 if going the APU route, something like this, still has budget to upgrade a few things if desired
@foggy hazel Ok man thx a lot
otherwise the i3 + 1650 super route is solid too
no need, thank you @spiral zealot
see above builds @obsidian wolf
honestly that 2600 is actually still a great cpu
and thank you @stoic island
:)
Ok, Thank all of you guys, really thanks 🙂
😀 👍
So, does anyone happen to have an answer to what I was asking about earlier? If I have 4 things that need drgb headers, but only two slots; Are splitters the only way to control them, or is there something I can buy to individually address them?
@polar python wdym lmao the 5600x maybe better than a stock 10600k
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hJvyfP
@polar python jay it is overkill but its better than the corsair one u picked by a lot
@polar python I hope you realize your logic is just incredibly just not great
yep
Hmm... Probably just going to go with splitters I suppose
@polar python literally neither of the cpus are bad one will possibly be better by a slight margin. If you had the same gpu and 5600x and 10600k the 10600k may pull off maybe a few more frames on average however if you have a 10600k 3070 vs 5600x vs 3080. The 3080 will be better
I'm want to start a new project in a few months so since I'm getting the 1650 for this computer will it go for a dell optiplex 3020?
@🙃GAMER_Tyler🙃
i need a good build close to 1k
@karmic dove patience
Ok
Why 2080ti? Just a question
tell your friend to read some reviews
Both the 3070 and 3080 deliver similar or better performance at cheaper prices
because he is quite wrong.
is there any particular reason for the 2 cpu coolers?
Grx is a troll, ignore them
and in general just the "as expensive as it gets" parts
that is just trolling now
Come on rly
0/10 troll
U had to
ofc I did
Give me a chance man
you're spamming in other channels too
I'm just bored and at home alone
well then get an actual hobby and stop wasting our time
go clean your room or something equally productive.

Yo
hey do I need a hdd or ssd or is it better to have both
ssd is minimum
if you want/need more storage, generally adding in a HDD is the recommended path
Should i get z73 instead of arctic liquid freezer
omg
im stupid
i didnt notice the graphics card had no price
i feel very dumb now
just to let you know this this is the sdd and hdd that I have on my build https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zWgxYg
yes, i remember that weird build
lol
is a mix of everyone everyone's ideas in one
even in another discord server lol
@foggy hazel but you like the build right
He already bought
yes
oh and has anyone tried this gpu https://pcpartpicker.com/product/rTpmP6/evga-geforce-rtx-2060-6-gb-ko-gaming-video-card-06g-p4-2066-kr
“Gaming”
what is hedt
Threadripper and such :)
not really
do u guys think the r5 5600x will sell out
hey do you think the 2070 super is overpriced
yes
part prices are excessively high
Maybe get one used
or check out evga bstock
this wensday
i saw a 2070s for like 380
in my case in #build-pics, should I make the exhaust rgb as well? 🤔

i might get a Rx5600
i have decided I will get the 5700xt then upgrade to the rtx 3080
then?
why then @inland parrot
Just go from whatever you have to the 3080 instead of wasting money.
and if you dont have the worlds best cpu or need other stuff to upgrade
just use the money you woulda used for the 5700XT to buy a new cpu
or more ram
/faster ram
Budgettttt
what about the budget
ur gonna go to a 3080 anyways
why say ur gonna buy 2 graphics cards
then say ur on a budget
xD
Lol
Or i can buy a motherboard that takes 2 diffent grapics cards then i will not have to upgrade
cant do the mixy mixy with gpus
3080 cant SLI anyways too
So i cant have 2060 and a 3080
Dang
needs to be the same card and actually have the ability to SLI
(and a mobo to support it but thats not too hard to find)
Okay
"nvidia said they may stop doing SLI" <- no "may" about it. SLI profiles will not be written after january 2021
Dude sli is dead
I still have my laptop
They pulled out life support for it
And yes, sli only works with the same generation
And also, sli is useless for gaming
I can play cyberpunk on my laptop but it is at low frames but it run gta 5
Always has been
@jagged ember doesnt sli give u performance boost
my friend has 1080ti’s in sli
Ah, I lack the terminology
Rendering that requires like massive amounts of vram
depending on the type of render software you are using
you cannot throw enough GPU's at it
or CPU's for that sake
You basically don't have enough computer for it
aye
yo so currently my rig is an i5 (idk what gen), 8gb ram and a 960. My new cpu is an i9 9900k, 32gb ram and I'm waiting for the 3070. If I don't get the 3070 the night it releases, would it be okay to temporarily put in my 960? I have all parts except gpu and all I do is play league currently so maybe?? Idk any help would be great
