lol
i was gonna get the 2060 s
but i thought i might as well wait and get the 3000 series
Good idea
I still need a buy a car lol
same
In high school
same
And 16 pretty soon
Oof
havent really gotten the opportunity for it tho
All i had to do was take a test for my permit
im jealous
Lel
I have to have 40 and driving test for my license
Ik
ya its just a test for my permit
but the drivers ed for my license
Thats not bad
nah
Ur jus lazy
hey I was curious which company is better for doing stuff like YouTube live streaming and gaming AMD or Intel
how much you gonna spend on your build
ive been told builds that are high end are better with intel
I'm just trying to get an idea for now
thank you for the help
i didnt do muchš
Dragon Lord what budget?
oh
Use case
he a smarty
And budget
I'm just trying to get ideas for now
ya we cant give an idea without those lol
Video editing
hey I was curious which company is better for doing stuff like YouTube live streaming and gaming AMD or Intel
@knotty flax
Guys
looks like game streaming
ya
Ok
So Nvidia gpu
mhm
For streaming
What budget?
Guys lmao
ya
Yeha
stuff like Rainbow Six Siege those kind of games
So fps
ive heard intel has better single core performance so id assume a higher end pc build would work
Any other games?
Yeah
or rpg
R6 isn't very demanding
On max settings?
Elder Scroll games Call of Duty dead by daylight
cod should be interesting
idk how demanding that is
but id assume its a little demanding
Ok so those arent that demanding
oh nvm
Cod is for sure
Reason: Bad word usage
Eh
i dont jave it so i wouldnt know
Call of Duty is somewhat demanding
A 1650s can run cod fine
ya
A 970 can to
my god
My CPU throttles in menu
Rx 570 too
3100 and 970/570/580
Is a good choixe for a 500 dollar list
Dragon is there any target fps you want?
@exotic marten my pc throttles in menu and J have a 9700k
The game just does that in menu
no there's no particular FPS game I want but I do want a good range of games I could play with the computer
@little leaf I got 6600k @4.2
i got to go but thank you for the help
hi
hello
@hearty mist apparently he never pressed the power button on the case

Arenāt those going to be crazy expensive?
they are going to be around the same price
And will the cards like 2070s go on sale or lower price?
they have rumored to be just slightly higher priced than the last gen 2000 series
and most likely not
they have stopped production I think on 2000 series
Wow
So Iāll wait for next series and if itās too high priced Iāll go for a 2070s
so it will be worth the slight price increase
Ok. Thanks that helped a lot
@hearty mist apparently he never pressed the power button on the case
@ripe wedge omfg
@tiny forge is it better to have the three fans on the back as intake or esauhst
I have the fan on the back of my case pushing air out from the PC
And the ones in the front pulling air in
So itās a constant flow of new air
hmm
Intakes will do more than exausts
But you don't want all your fans pushing air in
Other wise hot air can't go out
Is the 3090 being released on September first or are they just announcing it
So i've had this weird problem for a while now and I need some help, "again." I have this secondary pc that im building, and I cannot get it to post. Its a 2600 and 1070 build. Initially, I thought it was the motherboard's fault, however, I am now on my second rma board. I began testing the components on my main rig, which has a debugging light on the mobo, and I have noticed one strange thing. When I try to boot with the 1070 in there, the debugging light never gets past the "vga" even tho the system posts after a couple seconds.
Any ideas where the issue is coming from?
Update: I just tried my 2060 in with the 2600 and 1 stick of ram out of my person rig, same issue. No signal and no power from the usbs on the motherboard
Ok. I think maybe this is THE place for assistance!
First build and first thing, I think I ordered the wrong size case for MSI B450 TOMAHAWK mb
Thought I was being so-o-o careful.
Ordered Corsair Carbide 88r case
mb is MSI B450 TOMAHAWK
Don't think they go together, do they!?
if you want to put the MSI B450 TOMAHAWK mb into the Corsair Carbide Series 88R then no it would not fit
as the motherboard is ATX and the case is for MATX motherboards
you are trying to fit the left most into a case that at max accepts the middle version
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/z97KYH this is what my potential build looks like currently after talking last night. Primarily for gaming. Budget is $1000 and I dont have to worry about sales tax here as there is none.
so if i were you i would return the casse and get a bigger one
I read some where that the Corsair 88R would work but obviously I was wrong.
it may not be your style so you can keep looking but look for a case thats about htat size
I need help
yes
I need to pick between this options
mk
Sry to ping but do you have any ideas for my issue? @foggy hazel
:)
Canāt paste a picture oh no
can u paste the picture in dms?
MSI Laptop Modern 14 A10M-882 Intel Core i5 10th Gen 10210U (1.60 GHz) 8 GB Memory 512 GB NVMe SSD Intel UHD Graphics 14.0" Windows 10 Home 64-bit

Acer Nitro 5 17.3" Gaming Laptop Intel i5-9300H 2.40GHz 8GB Ram 512GB SSD Win10H
Ok guys please which one will be better
mk lemme research these
id go with the Acer Nitro 5
do you plan to game with these? @mystic wyvern
Well it is for my son for school and he always want to download a game to play so i thought maybe 2 in 1 but it doesnāt matter is mainly for documents , music , Download and classes online
I want the laptop to be fast and have space
would you like more than a TB of space or is 512GB good enough
I posted 4 laptops
More space bigger
Acer Nitro 5 17.3" Gaming Laptop Intel i5-9300H 2.40GHz 8GB Ram 512GB SSD Win10H
Iām just too bad to research š¦
as the Acer Nitro 5 17.3" is good for school and light gaming
That is nice however I tried to donāt spend too much š«
whats your budget?
ok
Can be refurbished as well
ok let me find something for you
Nitro 5 is refurbished for $650 I like that one
from where?
New egg do you see another one š please ty
i see one thats around $800 including tax
Acer Nitro 5 17.3" Gaming Laptop Intel i5-9300H 2.40GHz 8GB Ram 512GB SSD Win10H $649 refurbished
Really wowo I should get it then since is on sale right ?
the one on newegg is out of stock
On my end still show available
oh ok
Trying it send a link but the bot me didnāt allow me it is the same
It is good that one too
there the same just ones more expensive
but yeah go with the refurbished one that you were looking at
i think your son will like it
Great finally ty so much ...

No problem, have a good day. Hope your son enjoys it!
Just placed the order whohoo š great deal thanks again for all your help have a great day
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3JY36R good build under 1000??
yeah, that's pretty good
but if youre gonna get a TB of SSD, I would suggest a TB of actually good SSD. the A60 isn't all that great
i was gonna go with a 512 instead of a tb
but, considering your budget, you would be better off with 512 and a 2tb hdd
yeah, actually
ok well any recommendations on the hdd
alr
Hello my good people.
I just changed a few things for now
yeah that seems fine.
Im a rookie techy, MEANING-I know enough to know when to ask for helpš
that board isn't worth it
the one I put in can easily handle a 3100
it can easily handle a 3700x
at stock obv
Welcoming recommendations and advice: On Building a desktop solely to handle #FlightSimulater2020. Im not sure of the price ranges, so Ill just say from highend to lowest end and Ill figure it out from there. I do want the build to handle really awesome graphics. Orrrr would it be cheaper to just buy a prebuild? If so, I welcome recommendations on that idea as well.
building it yourself is always the cheaper option
yeah but what if it doesnt come with the newest bios update
Im listeningšš¾
it does
if your so concerned about that you could have gotten a b550 board for the same price as the msi board you listed
well alright
it's been almost a year since that bios update was released, there are no more boards with the old bios, unless the mobo product page specifically lists it as not supporting 3rd gen
ah okk well thanks
i was just looking for cheaper builds even though my budged originally was about 1600. i am waiting for the 3000 series tho
budget*
you think buying windows for the full 100 is worth it?
if your waiting for that, just wait till the cards drop
no, there are windows keys on ebay
alr
and yeah i will wait for them and if they arent in my budget ill just have to go with the 2000 series
don't plan around something that doesn't exist yet. if you wanna wait for the cards, then actually wait.
or, just buy now
the 16/20 series are fine cards, they won't lose performance when the new cards drop
yeah i know, i can easily upgrade if i got the 1660 super to better cards but im still gonna wait
don't blow 230 dollars on a card you're just gonna replace in a month
switched out the PSU and case, unless you liked the other case you can switch back to it
yeah i had the other case since it had 2 fans in the front
oh wait that one does too i didnt see em
im gonna keep the other case tho. thanks for the help
so everytime i restart my pc(if i click the restart button) it looks normal and boots up fine until it gets to the black windows 10 boot up screen where it freezes and doesn't do anything unless i turn it off with the power button. any ideas on how to fix this?
Donāt use the reset button
Restart*
Nobody ever uses that lol
You can just hit restart in windows
Hey yāall so Iām trying to build a pc for my brother just a cheap little thing to run fortnite on lowish settings with an hd 7570 and an i5 3300 I put in an old optiplex. It wonāt boot into windows... Iām plugging in the ssd I use on my pc with windows 10 pro and it doesnāt even notice it it just goes straight to the Intel boot agent Iāve sorta checked the bios any idea what it could be
7570 wont run fortnite at 720p low just btw
and dont use a drive that already has windows. Use a clean one and install from there
Ye thatās not the gpu Iām using lol I forgot I swapped it out but Iāve tried that too and it just doesnāt work
moving a windows install can be buggy, so, dont
Haha alright thanks Iāll try reinstalling on a drive again
Hello, I'm looking to enter the PC world for the first time really. I have a good grasp with software but am clueless when it comes to hardware/components. Can anyone help?
Yea what u looking to do
does it matter which way you put ur AIO?
Any recommendations on a 1tb m.2?
Samsung 970 Evo Plus
Do you need 1tb?
@crisp ember
Iām new to building so I donāt completely know but I was told ssd weāre faster so I was just going to get a m.2 and no hdd. Is that a bad idea?
So just a ssd is fine?
Alright thanks for the help
if u wanna waste space on it for windows and everything else go ahead. I say u should really also get a HDD
Yea heās right get like a smaller ssd and a big hdd
nah id put your os on ssd
i have 1tb nvme 1tb ssd and 2tb hdd
Figment I think so
does it matter which way you put ur AIO?
@brittle spindle
Does downloading games and such on a ssd with the os on it mess anything up?
it depends on if u have front and back fans and what type of gpu u have
no i mean where are all your fan mounting locations?
2 intakes in front. 1 exhaust at top and in rear
oh i see
so?
well there isnt really any options in your case
Everything is good
but yes, aio placement matters
okay
But literally every build I've ever seen has it like that so I made mine the same way
it cant be that bad for the AIO
right?
Could shorten the life, but by how much exactly
the worst thing u can do for your aio is put the cpu block at the highest point. there is inevitably some air in there that will starve/ overheat your pump if u do
so bottom aio is bad
oh u mean if u should just flip your rad upside down so the tubes are on bottom?
@brittle spindle I did a build for a customer with the same case and cooler
thats not a huge deal but u should check out gamers nexusā vid on aios
he had it like that
I flipped rad upside down and put fans in front of rad in pull config
its not as bad as he makes it seem
temps dropped by 15C
A lot of PC builds online (including manufacturer photos & NR200P builds) incorrectly mount AIO liquid coolers, leading to pump noise/whine and early cooler failure.
Sponsor: Buy Thermal Grizzly Conductonaut on Amazon (https://geni.us/1D8Eeq) or Hydronaut paste (https://geni.u...
yeah I saw it lmao
but it seems like you're looking for validation rather than an actual answer
I literally just said I observed a 15C difference with your exact same case and cooler
but apparently that's not a huge deal
whatever

Brother
I was asking if it really mattered where the tubes on an AIO went. I just wanna know if its a big affect on the life of the cooler
depending on which way it goes
it does matter, and the amount of difference varies from case to case. but it's definitely optimal to either have the rad on top, or if it's front mounted, to have the tubes on the bottom
@jagged ember u mean like pulling of them/ how "tight" they are?
Don't like squish them or force them into a weird bend when you install it
i don't have room to flip mine, but i keep the pump below the top of the loop, and i'm using an H100i on a threadripper, idling in the low/mid 30's.
my tubes do a loop de loop
oh yeah I didnt do that
literally used the exact same cooler and case yesterday
it is a massive difference in this case
š
Okay. But is there an estimated time that is taken off the life of cooler when its the other way (the tubes)
there is no way to determine that because every single use case and lifecycle is different
Yeah it's basically impossible to estimate
Great
if you are pushing massive heat through the cooler on a 24/7 basis, then yeah it will probably shorten the life span to some degree with the tubes up vs down
Oh nah my temps are almost always in the low 40s
but there's no way to come up with any real estimate
they just a bit chonky sometimes
Aio inherently have more points of failure
it literally looks better with the tubes on the bottom in this case
just flip it lmao
Sure do
this looks incredibly painful
Gravity does not help there
It must go back up
Yeah
Hmm, it is a 3900x
oh yuck a h510
Maybe it's undervolted?
i might actually try and flip my rad this weekend, maybe i can get it to work
it doesn't matter there's no way it'll be low 40s in prime95
i don't like how the tubes run right now
even though the pump is below the top of the loop
Oof
is that at idle?
That's mid 40s
that says absolutely nothing
Even if that was prime95...
idle at 45C is high for liquid cooling
its overclocked @4.5ghz
i'm at lower than that on my $30 air cooling
I get rather close on stock cooler
oh boy i bet you have it at 1.325V
But I have 3600
because my 180W TDP threadripper idles like 10 degrees cooler than that and it's not even using a real TR block, it's a round asetek block with an adapter
How do I check idle tho? I'm not good with Ryzen Master
Aand it's on power saving mode lol
My cpu idles at like 40c
Hwinfo64
Hwinfo64 good tho
how do I disable now
If you're asking about stopping time
or am I waiting
You can't do that
what's your temps now š
High
Mm
Prime95 is called torture test for a reason
my little $30 air cooler is chillin
lmao
LoL
Why? I never said you were wrong
cause i wanna see it
Its running average at 77
lmao it say that in Ryzen Master
hahaha
what's your voltage at
lol thanks
chances are it's too high
1.38125
yeah...
Eep
that's way too high
It wont let me OC to its max 4.6
that's killyourchipin2weeks high
What should I put it at
run prime95 with PBO enabled to determine maximum safe voltage
okay
Never 1.3 tbh
how do I run that
i just leave it on PBO because PBO does better in games
PBO
From what I understand that will damage the CPU
turn it on in bios
Ryzen master can do that too tho
if you have a 3900X you're probably not primarily gaming though
Yep
yes
Pbo
yes I am primarily gaming

should've bought 3600 + 2080S then
And I just click that and press apply?
Yeet
i don't trust ryzen master for overclocking
Might prompt a reboot
i only use bios
Fair is fair
that gets annoyinh
You choose the method
but yeah BIOS works better ig
i turned every fan in my pc to 100% to see how my temps would drop... but it's surprisingly quiet
do i press run small ffts now
Are they all noctuas
CPU go brr
look for Vcore and not VID
where do I find that
not sure about ryzen master
hwinfo has a Vcore field
it was maxing out. u sure?
E
its at 47 with PBO on
ryzen boosting algorithm is far more intelligent than a manual override
my CPU does 4.1ghz all core maximum
up to 4.5ghz on 2 cores with PBO
with other cores at 4
should I change my voltage
for PBO voltage should be left auto
some people use negative offsets with mixed success
in bios just deleting the number will set it to auto
i don't know anything about doing it in ryzen master
okay
i see a miniscule benefit from -25mV offset and performance loss at -50mV or higher
everything underneath "voltage control" is set to auto
it says maximum is 1.38
some people can't put any voltage offset without losing performance
auto voltage can safely go much higher than manual voltage
up to 1.5V is fine on auto, but manual needs to be much lower
intelligent boosting algorithm
auto
just leave it on auto, play with offset later if you want
Lol yep
the thing is I manually set that, but everything under controls is auto
just auto everything related to voltage except dram, xmp should be taking care of that
absolutely
configure it like the picture i sent
it has a bonus of you actually being able to see the rgb fans too
so
okay. will I have to move my wires (probably cant tell me)
screw radiator to fan tray first using short radiator screws
then use long fan screws to screw fans into rad
i literally flipped this yesterday
guy paid me $25 to do it
how long does it take
i did it in 10 mins without being familiar with the case
didn't unplug anything either
those rad fans are set as intake?
yeah intake pulling air through rad
more airflow for VRMs that way as well
since you don't have an air cooler moving air in the CPU area
nice to have a little air blowing over the VRM heatsinks
how did u not unplug anything lmao
Even if it's slightly heated air
though it's not critical
i rested the fans on top of the gpu while i was remounting the rad
Better than none
what service do yall ship with, i normally use usps they pretty good
I think I may have to unplug some wires
i only ship with usps
Lmao sips you tell them
yessir
usually flat rate if i can, depending on what i'm shipping
my past 10 packages from usps have all been delayed, lost, or damaged
i bought a gift for my friend through usps 2 months ago, usps is pretending that the package doesn't exist
i haven't had a single problem with them, even through all the shenanigans going on right now
sent them a customer service inquiry 1.5 months after expected delivery date, 1 week later they emailed me back a middle finger
E
wow
i have nothing but trouble with fedex
and UPS is just too expensive overall
mhm
ordered some stuff on newegg for customer builds recently, they went through UPS, everything was fine, then UPS handed it over to the post office for final delivery
they've been at the post office for a week now
is it
4 day shipping btw
usps
yeah post office is USPS
they're having trouble in various parts of the country
this part especially
same
i'm in a suburban area
i'm in suburbia but i'm 10 minutes from san francisco
and 30 minutes from san jose
oh im like 45 minuts from dallas
this package has legit just been sitting in the post office for 7 days with no updates
idk if that is metropolitan
and i haven't had a single issue. i've been selling things and shipping them out, and buying things on reddit/ebay
other package i ordered was set to arrive 27th, my entire family was at home
i rarely get issues
bought a case on wegg, it was here 3 days earlier than initially quoted
went ups to usps for final delivery
they didn't knock on the door or ring the doorbell, i went to check mailbox and saw a "failed delivery" notice posted on the door
when all of us were home
wow
so i scheduled redelivery for 28th and it didn't arrive
that's the kind of stuff that fedex/ups do to me
failed delivery notice when they never even tried
that's actually crazy tho
according to tracking history they have now moved it to a different city for absolutely no reason
after not even trying to deliver it
Hey @earnest olive did u have to unscrew the rad from the bracket?
yes
unscrew it and flip it around then use the short radiator screws to screw it in
did u have to remove the pump from the CPU?
no
k
3000g, a320 board, 2x4gb ram and i guess a really cheap psu
u dont need a case :))
new and 150$ really dont match up
you could do a really cheap celeron build maybe
like...G4930, 4GB RAM, really cheap H310 board
but even then
yeah
G4930 is like $30-40
and I think MSI has a board for like $50-55 that will work
plus maybe $20 for ram
for a single 4gb stick
and the celeron has iGPU
what is faster, 19-20-20-40 or 18-22-22-42?
but literally, the cheapest case/PSU still pushed the price to $180
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/HVKNDx $180 with a case lol
thats 200 considering ram
already showed this in gen chat
ya but its not priced
$150 new build is impossible
theres an amazon warehouse deal on a b350, bringing the cost to like actually 150 total
for a 3000G build
Woah
OK, working on my first build and would like some advice. here is my list of parts so far:
corsair vengeance rgb pro 16gb , wd blue 1 tb ssd , samsung 970 evo 500gb ssd, corsair rm series 750w power supply, corsair carbide series 275r case, nvidia rtx 2060 super 8gb, rog strix b550-f motherboard , and amd ryzen 7 3700x cpu
first advice
use pcpartpicker
second advice
unless you need a pc right this moment, wait a few weeks for rtx 30xx
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/dqjtjp so after a good bit of guidance, I believe I finally completed what my first gaming pc will be! Hope to get it within the next several months.
2060s instead
No. too expensive. $1000 is my limit
5600xt is best for what I'm gonna be doing, which is primarily gaming, with the possibility of basic online schooling (college stuff). Although if the price of the ryzen 5 3600 drops I might switch to that and possibly the 5700xt.
As I said, the limit I'm going is $1000. I already looked and both 2060s and 5700xt would put me over that limit.
I am not changing any of the other components except possibly the processor and that is only if I can get something comparable to ryzen 5 3600x for under $200.
It is currently only $10 cheaper. So 3600x is better.
realized that as I was typing lol
man said he could do it, so he did it
I'm not changing the case I picked. I settled on that one instead of the cougar for a reason. I like the aesthetic a lot more, and the airflow is great. I'm also a first time builder so I'd like an easier case and the one I picked is.
Go ahead change the case
2nd one is also over the $1000 limit. even $1 over is still over.
ok let me fix then lmao
I don't have sales tax here.
ah okay nvm then
I'm sure something would be discounted so it would be below 1000 without haveing to change memory speed
won't change the perf very much
I suppose, not going to be doing overclocking or gaming too much so guess it doesnt matter
nvm is for gaming, I am blind
be okay either way
what would be a good build to start with? I7? I5? then of course 16gb of ram? go RTX? 1-2 TB of ssd with 1 tb hardrive? anything else that could be good?
fans or water cooling?
my budget is $1500
Ight
Wait
I reccomend you to wait for the nvidia 3000 gpu series
And amd big navi and 4th gen ryzen cpu if you can wait longer
I'm working on my first budget gaming PC build. Is a GTX 1050 worth it or are there better options in the same price range?
Will I be able to generally run games from 2018 and prior well?
No game in specific, just thinks from before 2018
I'm not expecting to run Modern Warfare max graphics, I just need a decent upgrade from my 2008 gpu
Ok, thank you
Can someone help me out is my list okay ://pcpartpicker.com/list/73jDPn
I know I cant send links :(
just add http
Someone had told me spend more for the ryzen 5 3600
But idrk
Budget is around 500
Already have case, ram, and gpu
Well the card I got for free
So its a start
Yeah
Nice
I'd check up on the PSU tier list to confirm its integrity
I eventually want to upgrade the gpu also
At least it's not a TT smart tho
oh Iāll probably get an evga one for a little more money
Maybe go for a 3600cl16 kit w/o rgb
@molten agate can you state what are you mainly gonna do with your pc?
It's good performance
Check the SSD list in #storage-devices if u wanna confirm
it's nvme which is also nice
8700k tho
:(
I'd personally get 3600
Same cores many threads
I dunno pricing tho for that cpu
@shrewd tundra gaming, school, etc...
So you mainly focus on gaming
Fair is fair
Mm
PSU is c tier
Recommended for low end builds
May wanna go for something tier b
CX gray or csm Gold
Fair
Okay I sleep
If I were to install a hdd later how much would I have to disassemble?
Hope I helped
@molten agate keep in mind that the gigabyte Windforce oc 2070super is under 500 dollars
Need help
Don't we all
can I dm the picture?
I'm about to go to sleep
But maybe someone else can help
fine with that
Yo Iām thinking of getting a Acer nitro 5 and upgrading it with another stick of ram
With a total of 16 gigs of ram
do you travel alot?
Kinda
I want something I can use for school and for gaming
send the specifications
Itās a 10th gen i 5 with 8 gigs ram standard. 256 gigs ssd and a gtx 1650
1650 laptops baddd
And a extra 8 gig ram stick
Stuff like Minecraft and CS GO
basic?
Yeah
not sure-
the 1650 is untrustable that's why
I recommend the microsoft server
they can help you there
Iāve never had a gaming centered laptop or PC so Iām really new to it
But ok thanks
ah okay
he travels
not only country
place to place
Itās a 10th gen i 5 with 8 gigs ram standard. 256 gigs ssd and a gtx 1650
@latent lava
sorry for ping
Nice
Same

and programming as well
i'm a 13 year old kid who loves 3D modeling and gaming
@worthy island well Windows 10 comes with 3D Viewer so you can do anything
no i am good at blender and maya
I only like blender just to get a Dount model
Is this pc good

@craggy zodiac use pcpartpicker and wait for rtx 3000
And please dont post in every chanell
Just build chat
If you can dm the pcpp link
And dont post in build pics please
Unless you have a pic
@craggy zodiac How much is that pc
But 600$ is plenty for a decent pc
no i need a RYZEN 7 or 9
want or need?
For?
š„
Why do u need 3700x lmao
no, for the ryzen 7/9
do you need it or do you want it?
cause theres a difference
cause you can make do with a ryzen 5
i wan't it because i'm a 3D modeler and i'm using an i5 8th gen laptop and it stucks
and MX230 graphics
so its not for for 3D
š
3600 is cheap and amazing
though i dont know your experience in 3d modeling, ill assume youre at an entry/amateur level and if you need a pc now, what nom nom said will make do. a 3600 and then get a 20 series card or wait for a 30 series card
The 3600x is currently only $10 more than the 3600, btw
what do you mean by 10$ @plush wigeon
10$ difference between the r5 3600 and r5 3600x
oh ok thanks anyway
if you want a pc now or even wait for a 30 series gpu from nvidia, depending on their price points compared to their performance, and depending on the software youre working with, ive always highly recommended the 2060 ko gpu
@craggy zodiac How much is that pc
@worthy island 2500
hmm thanks
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QdpyJb This is mostly the build I'm going to go with. Processor is subject to change if 3600 price drops
@plush wigeon no need for extra thermal paste, you should try to get 3600mhzc16 ram, maybe by getting a cheaper Mobo.

110$

150$
Thoughts
Get a cheaper B550 ds3h or similar
Get a team MP34 instead of a80
a80 swapped controllers at some point to a crappier SM2262EN instead of e12
Ducky is good but I personally don't like 60%/65%
@cloud oasis I personally would go with a sennheiser pc37x at 120$ for the headset solution
ok
Desk wise idk, I just have a decent wood office desk :P
My desk is really smÅl rn
And i was gonna get a g pro wireless
But i said no
Also heres the pcpartlist i meant to send
I have a g pro wireless >:D
It's nice, but too expensive
smth like a model o would be better for price to perf
oh lol
Battery life is decent, I'd say a week of playing stuff after school, People have problems with right click double clicking, I did for a day, and it never came up again...
good
š
I read that it was aparently static energy buildup, and just blew on it lol
I don't really know though
anyways some really quick adjustments @cloud oasis

built-in mobo wifi for cheaper, and b550
And I suggest you take a look at the Coolermaster TD500 mesh
I like that case better than p400a because cooler clearance doesn't fit the nice air coolers I like :P
but both are great
I bought that msi wifi board and can't get it to post
Double check to make sure your cables are plugged in all the way
Yeah, I've been unplugging and replugging everything
The led things on the motherboard are apparently telling me I don't have a cpu or vga
So, try reseating your GPU and CPU
