hey guys my friend put together a build does everything look right?
Reason: Duplicated text
Reason: Duplicated text
Reason: Too many infractions
Bye
hm
F
What
The guy who got kicked
He was trying to post a set of links
Mee6 detected them as duplicate since they all start with htttps://newegg.whatever/yup
Oh okay
hey can i get help
ye
Ask/state what you need help with, and then if there is someone that can help/know the answer. They will :)
well i can’t send a link to my build so i’ll just type it out
if youre lvl 3 you can
just send it as a pm to me.
alright
and i will post it on behalf of you
thank you
on behalf of @little osprey https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rdp8p8
and you are very welcome :)
the monitor kinda expensive
so anyways is that a good build? or should i change it up
there are good 144hz options around 150
may i get a recommendation?
@errant berry its not a 1080p monitor.
his was a 1440p
IF that is what he wants, then yes.
idk if he wanted that
wrong question
what should i go with?
see the size
i really don’t know much about PC’s
Hey should i get the alienware 240 hz 24.5 "
@little osprey why dont you try and explain/tell us what you plan to use the machine for?
mostly gaming
Will a 24.5' monitor affect me im used a 27 '
the monitor i recommended is 24'
maybe some VR
is there any particular reason for the part choices on your list @little osprey ?
idkk rock
i mean i took the parts from mostly recommendations
i had somebody help me pick the best parts for my $1500 budget
@jagged oracle your question is entirely personal preference related. so we cannot answer that for you.
hence why i am asking about what he does know :)
is 3900x worth it ? or a 3700x would be
would you rather wait for the 4000 series?
because knowing what the customer knows, helps us give advice that is better suited for their situation.
and are you gonna oc
how long is the 4000 series
because knowing what the customer knows, helps us give advice that is better suited for their situation.
@foggy hazel good point
to come out
@little osprey you have a desktop machine right now? or are you on a laptop?
im gonna use my pc to run really epic minecraft shaders lmao
i’m on a phone currently
idk if that requires overclocking
i mostly game on xbox and don’t own a laptop
i think buying an x series may be wasteful
bc i believe they are meant to oc
not too sure
re: "x" versions: Dont focus on that part, look at the price of things and what specs the part actually has.
ye
@little osprey so, you dont really have any reference for "what" you are getting with the parts on your list or?
if youre running shaders tho i wouldn't buy an x
what do you mean by a reference
like on performance
i think
so when i built my pc, i wanted to run games on near max
that was my reference
all i really know is i wanna game in atleast 100+ FPS
@little osprey why 100+fps?
dont need to question everything lmaoo
refer to what i said earlier @errant berry
@little osprey When is your estimated purchase time for this machine?
for now that list is "good enough" (because it tells us what the intent is).
Come back when you are 1 week away from buying
stock and prices are so very much influx at the moment, that making a list for something that is that far away, is imo, just a waste of time.
In the mean time, have a serious look at where you would actually place something like that 27inch monitor+case
those are the dimensions for that LG
the physical size of things is something you have to keep in mind
also, start figuring out what mouse/keyboard you want.
he already has a mouse
aye, my mistake.
because as it stands "right now", the machine you have assembled is basically a next gen console. for a LOT more money
lmaooo
hm?
its reality.
if only it were
go and look up the actual specs.
yes, i am fully aware of that.
so dont compare a console to a pc when you have to buy a new system every time to upgrade
you are missing the point, entirely.
nahh
so, i would strongly suggest you go back and read it again.
no thanks
The point is Next gen stuff are coming
Hello Everyone! I hope you are all doing well. I need some help on choosing a new video card and i am hoping this is the right section to do that
So this is my current build
I am currently very unhappy with this amd gpu. So many problems
my budget is $400
I mainly play CSGO, PUBG, rainbow six siege and here and there some other games
your GPU is also VERY old
I would also like to mention that since i have a dual monitor setup
i would want something that my gpu supports that. 1 of my monitors is 144hz so a gpu that supports that would be great and the other monitor is 60 hz.
as in, it was released in the start of 2012 if memory serves
I also day trade futures during the day so basically a lot of heavy work
yea it is very old dude
a lot of problems with this one
the "different" refresh on individual monitors is not a problem
guys i am open to any suggestions that you have
thanks in advance for your help
no amd gpus pls
@stoic ember just to make certain, you are in the US?
the current generation of AMD GPU's are fine, but if you are hardcore against it, I'd say like 2060 super or something
I've had very bad experience with nvidia, but sure okay
2060 super if you have 400 for an nvidia GPU
Just to be clear, IF you had kept a nvidia GPU from back then, you would have the same lousy experience :)
^
i see your point
its simply age :)
i would personally go with a 5600XT, run you about $260
The issue is that the GPU is so old, not the brand
i just had terrible terrible experience with amd
yeah 2060 super/2070 or 5700 xt would be what you could get rn
and i am scared to pull the trigger again for another amd
5700xt over 5600xt
ok so $400 budget you suggest getting a 2060?
No
2060 S
A 2060 super, 2070, or 5700xt
or 2070
i'm just looking at it from a 'not blowing the entire budget' considering both nvidia 3000 and RDNA2 are coming later this year and we don't know how the GPU market will settle once that happens
what power supply do those need bob or naed
600W more than enough
ok without going into my pc
a decent 550 is more than enough.
how can i check
you cannot.
Should be fine with 500W for the 2060
easier way of checking: Open the case, take a photo of the PSU and let us have a look @stoic ember [Edit: i cannot spell]
@foggy hazel good idea
i am super dumb when it comes to this stuff
thanks
so just to clarify again
if i choose to go for 2060 super, 2070, or 5700xt, 600w power supply is enough?
a decent one, i am assuming you referring to kind of brand
which one do you suggest?
the 5700XT is however not an option for you (IF you stick to the no-amd rule)
@foggy hazel true
its not brand specific as such
i c
all brands (more or less) have good models, and all have horrible models
let me find my power supply
so it is very much model specific.
i purchased everything from newegg like a few years ago
so i still have the list
would that help?
too lazy rn to open pc
Yes
aye, that would be perfect :)
@little leaf for people that don't deal with parts all the time, aiming for a brand is the logical choice.
Eh
Mind: i am NOT saying it is a good choice. But it is very easy to see why people ask like that.
If your getting a better product for the same price and not willing to see that
people that dont deal with this all the time, can easily have a hard time seeing/understanding what a "better product" even is.
But when your going to ask us for the best “400 dollar gpu
And only one brand
There is only option
Or maybe 2
Everyone has there own opinions on brands... might just be they have had bad time with it
^^
Ive had bad times with amd but still I know that amd is better for certain things
And intel for other
and the brand question was NOT related to the GPU choice.
it was about the PSU choice
It was both wasnt it?
no
but the conversations are mixed at that point :)
so it is easy to see where you crossed the wires :)
ok so $400 budget you suggest getting a 2060?
@stoic ember
Ehh what ever
Doesnt matter anymore
that is a clarification on the earlier GPU talk.
ok guys here are some important order information
includes gpu and other stuff
power supply etc
if you want to see other stuff i posted a speccy list above but here it is again
thanks in advance for your help
give me a sec @stoic ember
lmao
Oh lmao
@stoic ember that PSU is fine
Nono is just little bit slow
that RAM is way above spec for what the CPU supports
so it is perfectly fine for that CPU.
i see
at least for now.
Its fine foe wat u have
yes @stoic ember
also another thing that i have been told is that i should not get something too powerful cause of a bottleneck issue
will i experience that
Bottlenecking is not really an issue, it's just a condition that sometimes occurs
considering you have lived with your current GPU for this long, it wont be something you notice
@foggy hazel so this is what i use my pc for. I day trade futures and when i do this i have a dual monitor setup, i have many charts open, my trading platform and multiple price ladders
then in the afternoon i like to game also
mainly csgo, rainbow six siege
aye, both are fairly trivial tasks (in the grander scheme of things)
i see
the only thing that really "sticks out" on your part list, is that GPU :)
the rest are "good enough"
ok so for a $400 budget i should be good with one of these options? 2060 super, 2070 ?
aye
also naed last question for you, sorry to bother you lol
ask away :) as i said, there are no stupid questions, only silly answers :)
Considering the age of your build, and what you have said so far. I would suggest that you stick with the 400 budget.
simply for the longevity of the card (performance etc)
because, based on your statements, you dont exactly upgrade your system every year :)
does that make sense?
as for GPU, something like this: https://pcpartpicker.com/product/tdBTwP/msi-geforce-rtx-2070-8-gb-armor-ocv1-video-card-rtx-2070-armor-8g-ocv1 would be my suggestion. (for the 400 usd option)
you are very welcome :)
from now until you decide it is too slow
and yes, i know that sounds like a cheeky response. But it is close to impossible to guess about
because IF you decide that you suddenly want to play games that require way more GPU power. That is impossible to know for me :)
aye, both are supported
awesome
making the purchase right now
also i am not sure how this newegg system works
the next thing you will be upgrading, will be the CPU at some point
no no
or something like that
i am not related to newegg in anyway
He's just a helpful guy
aye, i am looking to move there after my masters, which is fall 2021
awesome
thanks again
and have a great day naed and everyone else
awesome service!
best of luck with the new part when it arrives :)
you are more than welcome :)
because last time a video card was purchased for me i tried to install it in the tower but it didnt seem to fit
so like an idiot with no patience that i am
i ended up returning it
lol
i thought i had to purchase a new tower etc
anyways thats another story
i'll be back guys
for now, have a good one!
likewise :) and from what i looked at earlier, it will fit in your case just fine :)
Naed for mod
no.
F. Rejected

im making a budget build should i go radeon or rtx
depends on budget and if you're just pure gaming or also streaming, etc
if you're streaming as well, you'll want an nvidia card with nvenc, so 1650 super or better
Naed 👀
He bak
should i wait for rtx 3000 at this point
Yes
it would be another month or so until i can get a card anyways, and i was going to get a 2070 super
Bruh wait
i have everything for my build except for the gpu but i don’t have integrated graphics so i can’t do anything until i get one
should i just get cheap used for now?
If it's gonna be another month anyway just wait
Hello, everyone! Honestly didn't know/expect this discord to exist until I googled the term "newegg discord"!
Anyways, is this the proper channel to use in regards to asking about which pieces to order for a build? My knowledge only extends so far; I've used newegg a couple of times over the last decade for assembling new rigs, but every time until now I've had a tech buddy to walk me through the process a bit.
ok
if you have that much experience already what do you need us for
Me?
if you have that much experience already what do you need us for
@silk estuary huh
Yeah, you reed
blue brown or red switch type for a mechanical keyboard?
Also don't ping me for no reason
@little osprey depends on what you’re doing
gaming and working
FPS games?
i dont want the keyboard to be massivley clicky
I personally don’t like tactile. Clickies have a nice feel but they’re mega loud. Linear is basically just a smooth press, great for FPS games
i mean i kinda have an idea, watched some youtube videos
Reds: linear
Browns: tactile
Blues: clicky
ah, okay
Those are the three main
I've got blue then
what does linear mean? in comparison to tactile?
Might get o rings until i move out, kek
linear is a straight line correct?
There’s just not tactile-ness to it. Just straight down. No bump or anything. Just smooth
Yeah
hmm...
I personally like Kailh yellows. They’re basically reds but heavier to press
But idk of a keeb that has yellows preinstalled
Reds are a good beginner switch
You know
I never thought for a second i could replace my keys despite them being removable
I'm stupid lol
Lol
I wish I knew how to desolder lol
I wanna switch the switches on my K65 Lux
Just to put Kailh reds lolll
Smoother linear switch
If anyone knows of another pc-related discord, could you kindly pm me a link? @silk estuary is rude and made a bad first impression of this one. Thank you!
Oh boy
Need to publicly call me out when all i did was ask a question? You sound real mature man
weggime server actually
do you need Thunderbolt?
No
then that mobo is a waste for you
So b450 is enough?
eh, most of the nice and cheapish b450 are OOS
good cheap b550 seems to be good
also, purpose of this build?
ram and psu choice are
Gaming rig
just gaming? Any streaming/recording?
get a 3600 and a 2070 (maybe a 2070 Super)
you won't need the extra CPU power if you're just gaming
@analog hearth thanks
If you can forgo the RGB, do it
well, not really overpriced
PSU is def overpowered
but for your purposes, it is
is the price still high considering the market?
you right
ic
@oblique cloak Here ye go
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZHxWgJ
ayy
¹thanks guys
I guess you could forget the quieter CPU cooler for a 500gb NVMe instead of the 256gb one
Will an FX-4300 pair moderately well with a GTX 960 2gb? I’m desperate for a CPU rn and this seems like my only option
I don't see why not
Well I know FX series advertised high core counts but IPC was crap. Don’t know much about the 4xxx series, but I know a bit about 6100/6300
Alright, just gonna have to pull the trigger and get the 4300 :(
Should be fine
Mmk
well, another thing is that FX is actually a "high" core count considering two FX cores is much closer to a 1c/2t in terms of architecture.
It's a weird setup
Yeah true. Lots of people consider the FX-6xxx series 3c/6t
Depending on the task, it'll probably be like 4c6t
has anyone gotten the eluktronics mech-keyboard?
is a gtx 970 for $115 including shipping a good deal?
nah
i’m just looking for something to use until 3000 comes out
i just have a 1080p 60hz monitor for now, would a 970 or 1050ti be better ?
^^
how’s this?
Very old
this keyboard any good ?
@white osprey looks fine as long as you like linear switches
Very old
@sand falcon how about this one? https://ebay.to/3kgCTzE
Do I have to uninstall my drivers before I flash my 5700?
Also very old
can you find me one then i’m trying to find one that isn’t too cheap but not too expensive
What's your budget?
Eh just need the extra storage this is basically going to be my editing/gaming/school pc for the next 4 years or so
my point is are you sure you need a terabyte of ssd
Idk tbh
you already have an HDD for all that
That's true
plus, most things dont need ssd
most games and files will do just fine on a hard drive
hmmmmm
because youre really paying a lot for that extra 512gb of ssd
and you might never even use it
exactly
So maybe I might switch to the 512gb ssd
And recommendations?
Also is the ram a good choice?
dope
Thank
when you https://pcpartpicker.com/list/rz8zJb
i dont need 16gb of ram
i dont need a gpu
i dont need a powerful cpu
this machine is meant for low powerd stuff
any cheaper i can make this
365
eh
not really
running a games
but
the kind of games...
not AAA, not indie, not any big game
its an arcade game that runs on XP
so thoes specs should be overkill for it
What game exactly?
So basically you're looking to build an arcade box?
well yes but no
you see these arcade machine, have very very low spec hardware in them
Have you considered an optiplex?
plus an AMD GPU?
Yeah
(yes thats needed, nvidia wont work)
optiplex and rx 570 should do it
570 is overkill lol
what version of the optiplex
Pretty much any of em
R9 290?
not tested
Ah
nvm it was
Results?
perfect, it just has to have HDMI
What's your budget?
@sand falcon sorry i just saw this but i was told around $90 is a good deal for a 970, but i’m willing to spend probably up to $130
I would recommend saving up just a tad bit longer then
i think he just wants a placeholder until 3000
^^^
Oh, a place holder?
yes
i'd just surf the used market and try to find a decent deal
Yeah, anything will work then
sorry i thought i mentioned
https://www.ebay.com/itm/313173575376 good enough
It's skinny
so?
Might be rough fitting a GPU in there
most cards come with sff brackets
would that second one i sent be good as a placeholder for now then ?
Yup
okay thank you
The sff bracket for the card I linked is sold separately
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B006MBP7R2?tag=pcpapi-20&linkCode=ogi&th=1&psc=1
Here we go, two bucks more, comes with bracket
Do you really need the SSD?
yes
Okay
its worth it
Does DDR run on Linux?
bruh no
offical cabs run on windows XP, but il just install windows 7 or somthing
and im going to use data from the cab
so windows 7 would work
You won't really be writing that much to the disk once it's set up, right?
Yes
I've actually known about it for more than a year now
well it will be running a local server, but i can just run that on my pi 3
So really, dram isn't that necessary is it
My personal specs, or the specs of the systems I manage?
One brain with two lobes, a four chamber heart, and not enough body mass
anyways i think the most "high end" arcade cab has like what, a 1050 in it?
Your gaming pc amuses me btw
How long after you got the titans did you realize they wouldn't help?
and the TR
i really dont believe you have 1 titan at all
You said two titans
How many is it?
How many do you have
How many PCIe lanes are you running to each of them?
Okay
I'll buy it
As in I believe you
I buy it = I believe you

Reason: Bad word usage
i use ketchup
Ketchup is amazing on hotdogs
@gaunt zinc We got another one 🙂
glizzy gobbler
typical
Want to continue?
who doesn't
sup nerds
Never. Ketchup is just sugar tomato paste
Ketchup, mustard, pickles, or all of the above?
a burger
ive got two baller computers im working on building right now
The question is do you like saurkraut on hotdogs
It is, but I love sugar tomato paste on my hotdogs
y'all wanna do me a favor and price check them for me? what do you think is a fair asking price?
Sure
Just the one 2680?
yeah. its a single slot X99 board
Interesting
14 cores, 3.3ghz boost, should have similar single core performance as a 1600af
decent CPU
I'd say around 2000 consindering it's used
$2000?!
You might be able to get a bit more
0.0
wait Mr how is the thermal performance of the NT-H2
may have wanted to ask before i bought it, though
lol
Too high or too low?
It works well.
When you apply enough that is, and not a smol dot
i just want you to think about it
what would you want to pay for a system like this, if you saw it for sale on your local craigslist/facebook
1500 prob
i plan to list it local, as like, the ultimate streamer/youtuber content creation gaming PC
great, all in all it comes out to $9,680.97 usd (with arcade cab)
I'll stand by the 2000
I stand by 1500
damn if i get $1500-$2000 for it
something went wrong with my export
idk what id do with myself
What's the other one?
or il just get the cheaper arcade cab
dedicab looks nice though https://stepmaniax.com/
other one is basically the same thing, but with a RX 5700 and a 500GB NVMe, vs a 1TB NVMe
I don't see someone going on Craigslist and looking for a 2000$ pc
1500$ makes more sense to me
Swappers would
That one I'd give a bit less for
8,800 usd for that, not that bad imo considering its new
AMD just isn't worth as much for a productivity machine
or could just go get it for free (for legal reasons im joking)
technically a 5700 is faster than a 1080, but the 1TB NVMe vs 500GB NVMe is different
Pepe
you know that you cant get that game for free right
🐸
still primarily going to be marketed as gaming PC's

Maybe 1800
the one with the RX 5700, ive spent $780
the one with the GTX 1080, ive spent $826
Damn nice deals
i plan on selling these
To clarify, are these the E5 2680, or the E5 2680 v4?
where did you find them?
I'd say like 1500$ and 1400$ for those 2
Wow
FYI, the MSRP on those things is 1745
IMO that's far more than they're worth. I'd place em around 700
Very nice
Get some nice pics with those and they'll be ready to go
Very good job like always
Also, if you happen to find a bunch of cheap 2640 v4's let me know 🤣
other than the fact i had to pull the 1080ti
Always looking to expand the cluster 🙂
We would need at least two
Yes
Yes
wait, V4's only? or V3's? @sand falcon
Okay
We would probably be looking for at least eight. Do they have bulk sales like that?
its random users posting for sale ads of their own hardware
Okay
so, just gotta search
Much great things
Bulldozer
on par gaming performance with 10900k at 5.3ghz with a lower clock, and going to be a good bit beyond in workstation performance. Intel will lose their memory latency advantage since Zen 3 is going 8 core CCX, which will massively help improve performance, since its eliminating bottlenecks like infinity fabric
@royal ruin
Yea it's supposed to be great
Tho I'm gonna guess right now AMD is gonna have a 4600x with 4+4ccx and a 4700x with 8+0
except for extremely high speed SSD's
Like what they did with 3100 and 3300x
at those clock speeds, of course it is. Zen 2 is way worse
9900k can do 5ghz all core at 1,2v
3800xt can do 5ghz all core at 1.55v
lol
1.55v eh
9900k can be ran on an air cooler for 5ghz
3800x has to be at -100C to do 1.55v
under CFC cooler
I saw someone doing 5ghz on 3700x/3800x under ln2 but
i dont think you get what i just said
@royal ruin
lol
CFC coolers are an alternative to LN2 @stoic island
Phase change coolers I assume?
cascade phase change
yeah
its phase change coolers cooling phase change coolers
cooling phase change coolers
to cool a CPU
EVGA roboclocker
It's better than just a fridge
It's ln2 in a more convenient way :D
It does suck
That's it's job
Or does it not even do it's job
Anyone know how to work around a 0x80070091 error code for system restore?
I tried using the icacls "C:\Program Files\WindowsApps" /grant "%USERDOMAIN%%USERNAME%":(F) /t comand promt but is says invalid paramter. Any idea why?
Pls

good wifi usb for around 25 dollars?
also plug n play
or software that I can find online, not disk installation
Wifi
ty for help ❤️ !
who ever has a strong ip booter dm me asap
@fading acorn most of it came from my previous machine, all i bought was the cpu/mobo/ram/case. i'm using it for some heavy virtualization work, and still the little bit of 1080p gaming i do on the side
isn’t that threadripper expensive
i got it used, along with the mobo, $350 for the pair
it's a first gen, so it's nowhere near the price of the 2nd/3rd gen
12c/24t
ah good deal
Yo, should I get the RTX 2060 super or RTX 2070 super with my i7-9700k
Already own the CPU just need a new GPU (upgrade from GTX 1070)
Rtx 2070 is 2% better than 2060 super so it is not rilly worth it
He said 2070s vs 2060s tho.
If your willing to shell out another 100, 2070s is a nice sweet spot
you're*
So my 2tb sshd is only showing up as 100gb
u probably need to format the drive
check disk management
hello, can someone help me. I upgraded my cpu from ryzen 7 2600 to 3700x, I tried updating my BIOS but it wont update.
did you update it prior to changing cpus?
are you able to get into the bios to update it?
do you have the bios file properly copied to a flash drive?
@viral ore Yes to all, when i click on M-Flash, theres a black screen saying 'Entering Flash Mode' and then after couple of seconds, it says 'Exit Flash Mode'
what motherboard are you using?
Does anybody know what sort of filters the DIYPC D480-W-RGB case has?
can anyone dm me i need some info for my future build
nah cant put pics
No need to DM
too lazy to do that
DM a pic, well post it
^
We'll post pics for you until you build up enough reputation to post them yourself

Anyone have post problems with b550 chipset and recent nvidia cards?
Not that I've heard of
At least none that ended up being caused by that combination of parts
Well if i put in old 660 alls well, but with a 1050ti or 1650 no post!
Have you checked the cards in other machines?
Ya 1050 ive been running a while. 1650 i put in my old pc n ran it for a week without issues
Okay. Does the board have any debug LEDs?
Or buzzers or seven degment displays or what have you
Used old card to update bios, no change
Buzz code, video card missing power, but has no power plug
The PSU has no plug, or the GPU has no plug?
Gpu
What model motherboard is it?
Asus prime b550m-a
It sounds like the pcie lane isn't getting power for some reason. Can you double check that the 24 pin connector is seated properly?
@patent vapor What is your budget?
1000
You might be able to get a 2070 super in that case
1000 USD?
@patent vapor Do you need wifi?
Yup
Okay
Yup all good
GPU still doesn't work?
Nope
How long ago did you get the motherboard?
Okay
So RMA is still an option
For grins and giggles, what happens if you try the GPU in the second slot?
Yup, just checking if theres a bios tweek that needs to be done
That shouldn't be necessary
Bios is usually a last ditch fix
@patent vapor https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZkxPwh
Here you go
S & giggles, no second pcie slot
And there weren't any bios settings disabling power to PCIe slots?
Just gen option, i left on auto
Yup, probably the only reason i can boot!
So it sounds like a defect with your motherboards power delivery system
I'd recommend filling out an RMA request
👍thx will do
It can be, What will you be doing with it?
they say u need 32 gigs to run shaders?
idk like 4K including perhipals
(my spelling)
Shaders for what?
minecraft
Run fine with 16GB for me
lemme check purpled's specs
There's actually an interesting thing with how minecraft is written that you can get worse performance if you give it too much ram
yeah purpled as 2x8
One thing that I might recommend since you have this much budget would be to wait the one or two months for the new generation of parts
i might be on vacation then which sucls
sucks *
also should i get 3700x or 3900x
Basically, 2080ti is good now, but in a few weeks it will be completely outclassed
For the CPU, I would recommend the same thing
You have 4k
true
but im gonna get new mice and other stuff
i need a bigger table
i have no room
100 dollars
400 for a nice monitor
any one got a build for 1500
@wraith trail 1500 USD?
ye
imagine he said rupees-
What will you use it for?
game called rust also some streaming
Cool. Do you need wifi?
ye
There's no way to run ethernet to your build?
yup
Rip
i would if i could
i have good wifi probably not gonna use ethernet unless my ping goes up
If you can use ethernet, use ethernet
but i cant
use those wireless ethernet thingies
like a tp link?
yeah
I'm just putting in a motherboard with built in wifi
ok
im probably not gonna use ethernet i have 100 mbps wifi and 500
If your PC is close enough that ethernet is an option, and you're paying that much, just use ethernet. It's a lot better
Paying that much for the PC
Your wifi will be the bottleneck for most things
@wraith trail here ya go
3700x and 2080 super
Hang on

Had the wrong PSU the first time
thanks
Should I go with td500 mesh or the h500
I think you're in the wrong server
Hey, im looking at the gigabyte b450m DS3H wifi motherboard and on newegg it says its 3rd gen compatible but i didn't know if its for sure able to work with the ryzen 3 3200g?
