If you have the aio as exhaust and a rear exhaust, you should actually have a net positive pressure with 3 intakes because the aio will restrict the airflow
Is do I get the 3 fan aio or nah
Or be around a balances pressure
Slightly negative pressure would barely increase dust buildup, it's not a big deal
Alr
Yeah if you havw it as exhaust its nbd
What cpu
Ooh good point
So this build and the bottom aio
MUSHROOM
Will everything work together?

Look at the list
I replied to it ^
Oh you dont meed an aio for that
My friend wants an lcd screen
Idk why
But their set on it
I gtg but lmk if u would change anything from steves list and add the bottom aio
^
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/Rtwvt3 @weary galleon is this good?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 7700 XT, SAMA SV01 ATX Mid Tower
Yes
Holy link
ew wtf\
Is it good though?
M27q is pretty good
Ok
Seems a tad expensive tho
You can get 1440p 144+hz monitors starting around $150. The m27q is a nicer one but idk if it's worth quite that much
Up to you, you can use rtings for really good monitor reviews
I might just have them get this one
Itβll be fine if they spend an extra 40$
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/yh6bHW 990 and better
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, Phanteks XT PRO ATX Mid Tower
How the heck did u Get such better parts for less π
by pressing the parts with lower numbers
XD
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, SAMA SV01 ATX Mid Tower
@weary galleon does that look good?
Damn thats a crazy board discount
Will it stay cool?
why wouldnt it
you act like air cooling is just moving air over the cpu
Fr
Very aerodynamic
im do urs? huh
Fr
are you confessing to cloud
Do his list the board is 2/3 of the price of the one I picked
meta parts are cheap guys
also theres a much better board for like 20$ more if you want it
1 extra m.2 slot, no pcie lane issues and allat
great vrms too
What monitor should I get for them
1440p 180hz
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, Phanteks XT PRO ATX Mid Tower
Like the one I sent earlier?
If you want you can replace the card with the one I picked. Both cards are good but the triple fan is most likely quieter. Do his list and get the xfx
It might even support it already
Ok
They update boards over time
if its new it will
if its used it may or may not
This one
Is the one?
better board for slightly more if you care about upgrade for cpu and need more than 2 m.2 slots
Yeah on newegg it supports it, so when you buy it new it will be supported
then wait till the day or 2 days before you buy
THEYRE 130???????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
ask for a new list once youre about to buy
prices change fast
I think 1440 really is getting that cheap
Ima tell them this one
I have a 25β 1440p 240hz for 180
i bought my 1440p monitor a year ago for 200... and it was a good deal
tell them to wait till the day before youre gonna buy
hell i want taht
Ok
Yeah even 200 is still good
i want smol 1440p high hz π¦
So a 1440p 180hz?
mhm
Ok
but ask for a new list the day before you buy
Wait can u add the case that was in it originally
They wanted that one

Ok tysm
Can u send a vid of how to copy windows 11 on a thumb drive and how to set it up on a new pc?
Ping me if u do it
dis one
Ok so just follow this
yup
Ok!!!
hey guys im about to purchase this list could someone please gloss over it to check theres not something incredibly stupid about it. ik its not the greatest value as unfortunately i need cuda and a large amount of vram. cheers π
https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/Y6vGgn
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7500F, GeForce RTX 5060 Ti, Lian Li LANCOOL 217 ATX Mid Tower
bad memory 6000mhz cl36, buy this at least TEAMGROUP T-Create Expert 32 GB (2 x 16 GB) DDR5-6000 CL30 Memory and change your mobo to ASRock B650 PG LIGHTNING ATX or msi plus, also in my opinion chosen by you case is overpriced.
Hard disagree on the motherboard
The B650 Eagle AX has way better vrms
Plus Asrock isn't exactly the best choice at this moment
For memory
yeah ik the case is a bit overpriced but the it comes with 5 preinstalled fans and im a fan of the aesthetic so ill probs stick with it
is there a big actual difference between cl36 and cl30?
There's no reason not to get it
6000 CL30 is ideal
I'll try to shave off money elsewhere
6000 cl28?
Not worth
At that point just get a 7200 cl32 kit and run it at 6000 cl28
6000 cl30 is fine imo
You're not cheaping out and not overspending either
Honestly that list is fine
Only things that could be swapped out are the gpu and case
yeah it hurts quite a bit buying a 5060ti but cause im doing ml on it i need the cuda and vram
appreciate the help π
Eh
I'd recommend checking the used market before buying first
Otherwise that list is pretty solid
yeah ive had a look around but since im in the uk the pc market is pretty dry
will do, thanks :)
That motherboard should be fine up to an 9800X3D
Not the best priced list but like
It's 2025
Nothing is rationally priced
π
Mostly because of the gpu market
Wait the hell
Is the british pound stronger than the usd now
always been stronger no?
the pound plummeted in brexit but
huh
oh wait maybe not stronger but higher nominal value
I'm probably just used to looking at weaker exchange rates
Like from USD to CAD or AUD
britain has also been on a downhill for a long time so the pound is pretty crap now π
yeah its never what the exchange price would be from the launch msrp in usd they just set the same number in pounds
are you asking about for the list i posted or just in general how the prices are in the uk?
For the list
He needs nvidia
it would be much better for gaming but i need cuda
Poo
its very unfortunate π
Yeah radeons are kinda a one trick pony
Nvidia has a chokehold on the industry
They're the industry standard so
You're kinda forced to use cuda
UK used market isn't that good I'd imagine
yeah there's nothing used here really so it would have to be new which doesnt really work. also i chose the 5060ti for the 16gb vram
Ah poo
I haven't really seen many good used markets outside of the US
At least that helps slightly
Aside from China & Hong Kong
Not sure about Germany
The US and Chinese markets are generally the best from what I've seen
Everyone else ehhh
the pc building community is just tiny in the uk, pretty much everybody buys prebuilts from things like pcspecialist
I don't even dream about getting a new gpu here in Australia
Aren't there a bunch of budget build YouTubers from the UK?
Then again
Hardware has changed so much over the past few years
Low budget pcs just aren't a thing anymore
Assuming that you actually want to do anything modern with them
Not just the hardware
The software too
Windows, the games
theres a good few content creators but i mean just in like general. i live in london and know about like 50 people with pcs probs and at least like 90% just got prebuilt
yeah also everyone is too broke to buy anything π
Yeah it's probably because it's London
Rent is probably so high that the average chap in Birmingham is richer than the average Londoner
ive seen uni accomodation back when i was studying for as much as like Β£400 a week and that was a few years ago
Is that just for rent?
yeah, water and electricity separate
i mean that was for the slightly nicer ones where you didnt share a bathroom too
so single unit
but like you got basically a bedroom and a bathroom and that was it
Including utilities and wifi
Then again I live in Brisbane
On the other side of the planet
get me out of the uk man bloody hell
or just out of london
thing is theres no real major tech jobs outside of london
Go to Leeds
Oh wow
Literally every city that's not London is substantially cheaper
What about somewhere still within the Greater London Area?
Maybe there's some random town that's reachable by public transit
yeah the strategy is live a bit further out and travel in
Probably won't be cheap in the long run tho
If this housing crisis keeps getting worse
It's like a virus that just keeps spreading
yeah londons transport is the most expensive in the world im pretty sure right now
costs me like Β£12 to take a train a few stops lol
wtf π
and with that bloody price the transport is still awful. got delayed one time by like an hour because the train was too hot for the driver
You'd think with how much the housing has gone up
it was only like 28 degrees
the current government is doing something with it but prices still havent gone down so we'll have to see
i think theyre nationalising it because it all runs from private companies
Have they finally realized it was a bad idea
they never make up their mind on anything lol
Yeah they gotta dig a moat as a business expense
la metro is like 1.75 usd flat rate
probably costs more to use metrolink
yeah on the at grade lines
too bad the city of la doesn't care enough to foster businesses in downtown that are useful like hardware stores lol
Probably because the money just keep going towards building more highways
yep
"just one more lane guys it'll fix congestion"
Then you get stupid roads like this
You can fit an entire train line in the middle
you could land a stol plane in that intersection
I wonder if you can land a CRJ on a national highway
wish I had my copy of FSX rn
US city planning is funny
Like
I get it if it's a highway
But this is in a city
Just build a tram
And run buses
It'd be so much more efficient
And you can probably shrink it down to 4 lanes if the city is well designed
Me when I slew mode after realizing I'm at 200kts at 30ft
I should break out the old joystick and play FSX again
might not even need 4 lanes if most of the junctions are turned into roundabouts and there's good bike lanes and public transit
I haven't even gotten steam edition
Yeah you don't
4 lanes are main roads
2 lanes are generally enough for the average road that's not going to see heavy traffic
At least in a well designed city
It would also help if people can actually walk places
the average dtla street that has two dead ends with 4 wide lanes and street parking
Imagine how much parking lot spaces can be used for buildings
If there were just less cars on the road
lots never fill anyways
It's funny because when you look at a map of the US
You start from the east coast
Where everything is somewhat normal
Move across the map
And the roads just get wider and wider until you get to Texas
Hey that's just parts of Texas, most of the interstates are only 2 lanes going through most of the Continental US
I wonder
Like I20 and I40 going through Texas are mostly just 2 lanes per side
If they shrunk some of the stupid roads down and put a railway in the middle
The famously large roads are only going into the cities
I think that makes what make them more stupid tbh
If it's a high volume road surely you can put something more efficient in that space
Hell even a bus lane
They don't really like doing that in Texas
Rednecks and their big trucks π
I mean the city layout itself also kind of makes it not feasible
It takes an hour to drive through low density areas to get to where you want to go within the same city
There's not enough density to warrant bus stops for most of it
That's a lot of US cities in general
Incredible single family housing zoning/ordinances
It's much worse in DFW and Houston
Lots of low density areas
It's like the opposite of the USSR
Instead of having high density housing everywhere
You get suburbs everywhere
Cities like Chicago and New York at least has like 30% of the near downtown area be high rises or apartments
Texas takes that and makes it single digits and lets the suburbs grow
I wonder how much cheaper housing will be if they built more apartments blocks in cities
no city should be more than 8 miles long
You say that
/j but there needs to be densification in every city with sprawl
But the large cities blob and eat everything in the vicinity
Like what China is doing with the greater bay area
They're trying to merge Macau-Zhuhai-Hong Kong-Shenzhen area into one big metropolitan area
But China fits the entire population of the US in those areas
And they have funny high speed rail too
houston texas is what it would look like if you took sacramento's metro area and rotated it about the axis of downtown
They were trying to merge Beijing Tianjing and I think Tangshan last I checked
Supposed to be a huge city that stretches like 100km
Prob pest ate buda
Berlin is getting pretty close to eating Potsdam
Although
Potsdam is technically in Brandenburg
London is just a massive blob in south England
You can see the massive stain of London on sat view
London keeps growing
It's funny how China built a stupid expensive bridge from Macao to Hong Kong
And now nobody uses it
I mean there's nothing wrong with the bridge
It's an amazing bridge
It's just that it's stupidly annoying to operate a bridge across three technically separate political entities
Iirc it was just a political statement that wasn't meant to generate revenue anyways lol
Bridge measuring contest
At that point it'd be easier to just annex HK and Macau and to make everyone drive on the same side
And get rid of the customs checkpoints
If I was building that bridge
I would've swapped some of the lanes for high speed rail
I mean it's literally China's thing
Huge missed opportunity
Prob just don't have any real stations in HK
Or places to build more stations
True
But still that didn't stop them filling an entire airport's worth of land in the sea
Would probably actually make money too
The bridge connects to the airport anyways so
Near a major rail station
It just makes sense really
Or at least... More sense than how the bridge is being used now
A lot of the traffic is public transit anyways
Which... Imo
Might as well spend the extra money for the infrastructure for a train instead of just building a bridge for buses
But that was HK paying for it and in a place that already had some land, they can't really increase the capacity of the rail station there without having to do some annoying engineering
realistically does nvme ssd brand matter i need a 1tb one and while i could get a p3 plus or so for like 80$ i can also get a kingston nv2 for 60$, i know there are differences like qlc or dram but if it's just for storage
hi
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3KHFLc @plucky timber would u say this list is good?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 9600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, SAMA SV01 ATX Mid Tower
If it's not your main OS drive you can probably just get the cheapest one tbh. If you're putting your OS on it maybe stay away from QLC and get tlc for the endurance
and if it's the os drive and as long as it's tlc it doesn't matter right
Dram isn't too important for nvme drives due to HMB
like controller brand and such
I would find a tlc drive with decent reviews
But you don't need to spend a ton on some Samsung 990 Evo plus ultra blah blah blah
Yeah tons of roads are that wide in Poland but we got trams running in the middle of em
what is a good starter Pc that comes with a keyboard and mouse max of 1500
Lookin to build your own?
Bit overpriced
Could be worse
i mean ideally you would want to buy your own peripherals because why would you want a 10$ keyboard and mouse
Why would you want a $10 keyboard and mouse that costs $1 to make
also that
Honestly the keyboard market is getting cheaper and cheaper these days
You can get a relatively good keyboard for $30
keychron has a super budget one now with qmk compatibility for like 35$ but not hotswap
still solid switches
Which is more of a reason to not go for a prebuilt
Because then there's more money leftover to spend on peripherals
i wonder how much they tax you for the "gift" peripherals out of the total
It's ok they make up for it by putting the cheapest power supply in there
And a motherboard with god awful vrms
dell π
Parts don't make money
Rgb does
The cheapest piece of crap with some rgb is worth $1000
You can try that on facebook marketplace it works surprisingly well
and the "i know what i have"
-i7 6700, GTX 980 user
that would make a goated build in 2015
Inagine an overclocked 2600k
Could've had the same cpu for a decade while playing games maxed out
From when it came out to uh
2017 I'd say?
2018 ish
Can honestly be stretched to 2020 because games were still fine on quad cores for a while
Probably will have to settle to medium-high settings
But it's usable
also just so you know there's a bunch of cheap 1080p 240hz monitors now if competitive games are the focus
They donβt wanna do comp
They are doing solo mc with mods and shaders
oh alr
Okay Iβm at my wits end. I have a 4070Ti, Ryzen 9 7900X, 32GB DDR5 RAM, a 1000W PSU. I keep randomly getting crashes. Itβs driving me insane. Sometimes I can play multiple multiplayer games in cod but then it will freeze and randomly give me error β: 0xC000000C (0) N. I hav no ideas what to do.
It's better than most of the lists I see on here
Ok
Hey guys Iβm looking for a laptop right now for school. The intense tasks Iβm going to be doing is probably video editing and possibly some gaming nothing else really intense. I have 2 options right now in my budget either an older Asus ROG Zephyrus S GX502GV-PB74 with a rtx 2060 and a i7 9750h or a hp victus laptop with a rtx3050 and a 7535hs. what do you guys think is better for me? The victus has a better cpu but the 2060 is a lot better gpu wise because of the extra vram. Any help is appreciated thanks
I really wouldn't recommend either of those but if I had to chose I'd pick Asus Zephyrus all day any day.
Or just get an MSI laptop slap 32GB of ram in it and a fast 1TB m.2 like I did.
And have god tier laptop.
Which editing software are you using
Premiere pro uses more cpu and system memory than davinci, but davinci uses more vram instead
Davinci puts more focus on the gpu, while premiere is more balanced when it comes to overall system resource usage
I am beyond pissed at past me for taking so long to build my pc
I found a 10750h and 3060 laptop worth it for 100 Canadian more? Other 2 are around 450 cad this is about 550 Canadian
I use mostly premiere pro
Thatβs a lot better. 3060 is good.
Yep 3060 is solid Iβm just a little worried about the cpu and battery life
Yeah itll probably last like 2 hours lol
As much as I love amd laptops its better to use intel because of premiere being able to utilize intel igpus
Davinci resolve costing no money to use:
Unless he owns his copy of premiere, which would be cloud approved
Resolve my beloved π
If he rents his copy of premiere, my condolences to you brother
Talked myself out of a 9590x3d and hero motherboard and settled for this. Tried to read as much as I could about the b850f. Doesn't seem too bad. I'm sure I could've done better. But, I prefer Asus. Anything I should change?
System will have a 5090 Tuf and a MSI - MPG A1250GS psu in a Phanteks P400A case. Planning on getting a NZXT H5 flow
Works on my machine
So that's an automatic win for me
And the thing about video editing is
How complex is the work going to be exactly
The thing a lot of people tend to miss is that
Although video editing can be very demanding
A lot of times it's not
Let's suppose a hypothetical scenario where the workload would be: "Editing video game footage into a compilation of clips with captions"
That shouldn't really take more than 2-3 video tracks on the timeline
So you could probably even get away with using the igpu for that
Rendering is another story but the average gaming laptop with a NVIDIA dgpu or intel igpu should be fine
probably even an amd laptop would be fine
YAAAAHOOO!!!! Today is the day. Sitting here waiting on the post to deliver my Asrock Phantom 27" 1440p monitor. My old MSI went out on me and I;ve been playing games on an older MSI 1080p 60hz. monitor. It was ok for for a temp stand-in but that 60hz SUCKSROCKS! Anyhoo, Thanks to Newegg I've got a new one on the way a bit later today! So Excited that I couldn't sleep.
Yeah
And using render cache makes it less demanding
Just bring your charger with you. Even Mcdonalds has outlets. They're everywhere.
You can't have a nice high performance laptop & extremely long battery life those two don't go together. Unless the laptop has a stupid big battery, then maybe.
I personally don't have a desktop since I moved, I use my laptop for everything. I sat down and thought about it and was like if I travel a lot I use my laptop, when I'm home I use my desktop but why not just use a laptop that does everything and connect my monitor to the laptop with DisplayPort then just use the laptop like a desktop.
That's what I've been doing and it's been great.
I think everyone should build a desktop tho and experience that before just settling with a laptop. Desktops teach you the fundamentals you need to know about hardware before you can know what's good or not good in a laptop if that makes sense.
@urban trellis And from experience let me tell you a smaller laptop is fine. Dude I've had 15in laptops and 18in laptops before they're too big. A 14in laptop is so good due. It's compact but not too compact like the tiny 12-13in laptops and it's just easier to travel around. Fit's in smaller bags too which means you don't have a giant backpack on.
ok thanks bro for the advise
yea have a desktop rn just needed one for school
wasnt 100% sure for if id be able to access an outlet the whole time in school which is why i was asking
i understand you cant do heavy tasks and expect long battery life but im looking for a good laptop that i can do light tasks on without it dying on me fast while also being able to run intense programs when i want to plug it in if you know what i mean
Yeah MSI get one of their laptops throw 32GB of RAM in it and a fast 1TB m.2 and youβll be solid.
Just look up the model and make sure itβs upgradable.
Then to save battery mute audio set display brightness down & enable energy saver to turn the fans down and clock CPU down.
Iβm telling you this MSI I got with the 4060 & 13620H I got on sale for $850 and it plays everything. Like legit everything I havenβt had a game yet that was below 100FPS. And thatβs at 1440P
@neon condor proper only concern i have is ive seen some tests and with light use the msi laptops last around 2 - 3 hours on light use π
Damn I just realized
The 3050 you talk about is the cut down 3050 with 4 gigs of vram
The full 3050 has 8 so I was wondering why you said the 2060 has more
Honestly it could be worse
My laptop has no dedicated gpu and lasts like 2 hours
My old laptop had an 8300h and a 1050ti and lasted even less
If only that 3050 was the unlocked sku
But yeah you either deal with the worse battery life or spend more on an amd apu laptop
What resolution will you be working with
1080p
Yea lol
Iβm looking at the asus tuf a15 with the ryzen 7 5800h and 3060
Apparently those have really good battery times for normal use more than 8 hours
Need Lga1700 mobo, cpu that supports intel quicksync with good single thread performance
As many sata connectors as possible atx or micro ATX my qnap crapped out so upgrading
yeah so i just spilled water into my build and it auto shut off before i could unplug but i have an open gpu so the motherboard is directly open to anything which is where most water landed and i have dried most of the water off and leaving the fan on for the next day or so and im just wondering if you guys think i need to buy a new pc atp or what
or any other tips
oh and also i didnβt see any burn marks on the actual motherboard
It mainly depends on how sure you are that the water is gone, and how much you trust your PSU protections. In an ideal world, PSU protections should've shut everything off before anything went wrong, and as long as all of the water is gone, it is safe for you to use it again.
1 what country and what purpose is the pc for
2 what budget
iβm just gonna leave the fan on overnight and then check again in the morning
but all water is gone
107 for a new I5 10400F they usually go for about this same price used, if not a little cheaper. Also bought better ram then what I need just for good overhead
thats... not a good deal...
7500f is like 130-140
MUCH MUCH better cpu
LGA1200 in general is a terrible value platform
Used LGA1151 and new LGA1700 are both way better value
What abt 1851
Newegg prices are stupid right now. Just got all my parts of Amazon for $200 cheaper plus free 1 day shipping. Heading home to install now
Itβs a good deal
no
7500f is 30$ more, amazing upgrade path and great performance by itself
Leagues better than a 10400f π
(am5 is better than those too)
I was trying to illustrate the point where 10th gen is the absolute worst option
even if you go DDR4 there's AM4 and LGA 1700
LGA1200 boards generally cost more, the cpus are priced poorly
I's just a bad platform
Besides I wouldn't just push AM5 without knowing the full context
12600k is yes :3
perhaps the budget doesn't allow for AM5
at which point...
it's still the worst option really
especially when you start bringing in used AM4
or even mixed new and used
actually
I could think of one scenario
If it was a used enterprise machine (optiplexes, thinkcentres) that is around the same price as a coffee lake
14400f lookin good ngl
price?
130
Way better than a 5 year old cpu
Faster
hmm
It has e cores too
We should make an experimental recommendation list
for an ultra low budget rig
with that cpu
looks like it's got potential at that price
especially as an alternative to am4
although... upgrades are going to be annoying
mostly involving mobo and ram
but it's got some degree of upgradability
assuming ddr4 is used
I looked up 5700x on eBay and its not lookin good
It's that i7/R7 tax
thing's not worth that much
at least with LGA1700 you can at least get an upgrade to DDR5
or just start with DDR5 to begin with
Zen 3 is....
4 years old
π
Part List - Intel Core i5-14400F, Antec NX410 ATX Mid Tower
something like this with a refurb gpu might be decent
I'd say around $800-900
Not the best thing in the world but assuming that the budget is that tight that it can just about fit this and a used/refurb gpu it's not the worst
Lmao 5600x still at $90
Been like this all year
In fact it went up since then
This guy is charging 120 and $5 delivery
Dude you are already overpricing it, just cover the $5
Cheapest I see is 85 +6
AHAHAHAHHAHA
I swapped the old intel network card into my gaming laptop
To confirm a suspicion I had
The crappy MTK network card in the strix had indeed died
Thanks ASUS
nah
am5 barely more
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Antec NX410 ATX Mid Tower
Ehhh
That's with cheaping the hell out of the motherboard
I also wouldn't say that $50 is "barely more"
The MSI B650-S wifi is way better
For $5 extra
A "barely more" would be a 7500F in there
In which case it'd probably match the price of the i5 list
also CL36 ram
Part List - Antec NX410 ATX Mid Tower
This is better for the same price
No
Elaborate
The 12400F is literally the same price
So
$108 for a 10400F is a pretty big ripoff
And I wouldn't even recommend the 12400F as the 12600KF and 14400F are both $129
and if 12600k ever exists cheaper than kf then yes
too late
already did :3
I don't have a KF so intel pesters me in my notification box
got my K for cheaper than a KF
Pog
You got scammed man
Youβre just jealous
Why would I be jealous you got a really bad cpu for 100$
Explain why you care so much
Then you will find ur answer
Because youβre being ignorant
Lmao
Explain to me how that cpu for 105$ is a good deal with 12600kf and 7500f exist
Like I said before I got a good deal for a new cpu when these same models hold there price relatively well in the market. I paid about 50$ less then average
If you compare bad prices to bad prices one of them will look good
Iβm not sure what youβre upset about or why this is so difficult for you to understand or if youβre just so upset in your everyday life that you need to come on here and try to shame everybody because youβre jealous that you canβt buy new PC parts or maybe you just suck at games in general who really knows what your problem is. But you need to understand. Itβs a very simple concept I didnβt ask what CPU was better than the one I got. I said I got a good deal on the ||specific cpu I decided to purchase||
Crazy concept I know
131$ for a SIGNIFICANTLY better cpu itβs not even funny
I have an lga1200 you would know that if you knew anything about the type of CPU I bought I canβt use a Ryzen or else I would need to get a whole new motherboard. Itβs OK if your brain dead just do it somewhere else.
I can afford any pc I want, and I donβt suck at games. Iβm merely stating the fact you mightβve gotten a decent deal compared to other bad deals, but compared to good deals you got scammed
But I didnβt get scammed buddy. If you need to take a small time out, itβs OK. Go ask your mom for a snack or something.
You can buy a new motherboard and the upgrade would still be worth it lmao
You paid 100$ for an incredibly low end cpu, you got scammed lmao
Thereβs a lot of upgrades that would be worth it. Iβm building a midrange gaming PC for my little cousin. Again, you have no idea what youβre talking about. Youβre just on here to bash me for no reason.
If that were true, why are they so expensive and in the used market right now?
How should I know??
Go argue with someone else honestly, youβre not gonna win this
π
Youβre the one here arguing with me youβre not gonna deflect now! lol
I donβt know why they are expensive for a bad cpu
Iβll admit that sure
Probably because theyβre not bad CPU at all youβre just an AMD fanboy
I literally said you can get a 12600kf if itβs a decent price
Six core 12 thread processor is perfectly fine for a starter
10400f isnβt a good cpu now, itβll work but for 100$ itβs not worth it
You seem to have a very strange imagine in your mind of what cpu prices look like right now
Thereβs more to a cpu then cores and threads lmao
Not for someone whoβs not going to do any overlocking, thatβs why I bought an F model
170$ 7600x, 130$ 7500f, 145$ 12600k
115$ 13400f
This build was the cost of the cpu plus ram 170$ usd total for an extremely powerful budget bilde
Build
Couldβve spent a bit more on lga1700 or am5, or even am4 lmao
Why would I spend more when Iβm trying to spend as little as possible and still get good performance? I know you think youβre the first know it all in the world but trust me Iβve met a lot.
You can spend as little as possible but your fps per dollar will be terrible
Aka the 10400f
you could get literally double that for⦠less than double the money
also thats a stupid way to phrase it, fps depends on a lot of things
No, he js knows where to look...
its a 60$ cpu at best, and i think 60$ is still a bit high for it
7600x
or 7500f
7500f 131$, 7600x 160$
Hmm
Itβs almost like you donβt understand how eBay works, or the fact that I said I got a good deal on a new one and the price was not much more than a used one. I looked at eBay trust me, I didnβt want my little cousin onto be stuck with a something that might not work
60$ CPU lol you are bad at rage baiting
wdym donβt understand how ebay works
huh?
my guy
those were BIN prices
π
not even haggled or bid prices
π
100% approval rate means scammer 9 times out of 10. Thatβs why I didnβt buy used. Most of those cpus selling for that price donβt post
Dude actually get outπ
$170 for a (very clearly) $60 cpu is NOT a deal
Can you stop spamming just because you are wrong π
also buying a brand new cpu on a old and dead socket is a bad buy
I didnβt pay 170 for just a cpu youβre butting in on this conversation for no reason you didnβt see my original message
damn i get rage baiting so easily, i should really start blocking sooner
Blud I been reading this since last night and feel I need to provide
@fickle bolt ok so hes either rage baiting, a complete idiot, or is coping hard
I wanna bet on the last 2 combined
I put my money on all 3
Me when I lie
ooooh good bet
@wary laurel explain to us with your⦠vast⦠wisdom why buying a new cpu for nearly double its used price on an old and dead socket is a good idea
Average PC forms users, trying to troll everyone and getting trolled backπ
even on newegg it aint $170
he bought it for 107
still got scammed either way
fr
Youβre doing an awful lot of assuming about all those used CPUβs believe me, buddy I checked every outlet I could for a reliable used CPU you cherry picked a few prices without even looking into the details on those those couldβve been used for mining or anything else. Most of the ones I saw for that price youβre describing didnβt even power on.
did you just say used for mining
no no no did you genuinely just say that
Thays exactly what I wanted to avoid Are you going to try to attack me for the fact that people can use that CPU for mining now?
Way to completely divert Iβm glad youβre acting personally offended π
βYou did not just say thatβ π€
1 mining on a gpu/cpu has little effect on it, gaming does more damage
2 that cpu was not used for mining lmao
Doesnβt change the fact that for those prices you wonβt find one that actually powers on. Youβre acting like I wasnβt looking at this for days.
you don't use CPUs for mining, genius....
In fact, Iβll send you a screenshot of one. I was about to buy, but then decided not to because the listing looked too sketchy.
seems like a good deal
$10 overpriced but looks fine to me
100% positive feel back and all the reviews are fake as shit so clearly fake
Nobody on eBay has 99.7% positivity rating out of 734 listings
Thatβs not even the right CPU mine would use a 1200 style not a 1700
It probably does look good to you. Itβs a fake listening and you wouldnβt know any better.
pretty sure thats just a typo lmao
wait
did you just say
No, itβs not a typo because they make a 1700 style if I had bought that and not done my research I wouldβve gotten the wrong CPU for the motherboard that I already bought
1700 style 10400f???
Correct look it up
@fickle bolt complete idiot box marked
x/y/x
i still feel like hes rage baiting and coping
someones idiocy cant be this bad
God forbid I get a new CPU from a reputable seller at a killer discount π
Agreed
this is MSRP, however since intel discontinued it its a lot cheaper. im finiding $60-70 ones on ebay just fine.
Again, youβre looking at used for fake prices thatβs all before shipping as well. I donβt know how disingenuous both of you can be.
killer wallet discount lmao
Or not for*
Yeah, it literally was like I said it was about $50 cheaper I got a good deal. I saved $50.
ok since youre clueless in the pc world let me dumb this down for you
old cpu no longer made, old cpu go up in price new, old cpu no longer worth it new, old cpu bad pricing new, dont buy old cpu new
Thatβs probably why I gotta new one for 100$ rather than 150$ π€―
Crazy how that works
hey dude
And get this if I had bought a used one it wouldβve been like $70
you can compare 2 bad prices
Isnβt that crazy?
and one will look good
Isnβt that a crazy concept? I spent a little more and got a good deal to get a new one then spending $70 to get a used one and potentially running into issues isnβt that a crazy concept?
Cry me a river
Youβre just upset that you couldnβt find a reason to justify your anger
i have diagnosed anger issues, so yes i get upset
you're gonna run into issues either way man. isnt intel 10th like 5 years old at this point?
Funny af tbh
so youre making fun of a mental disability
Oh no Iβm so scared π± isnβt ryzen 5 also 5 years old
Yes I am
also take it from someone who runs intel you'd be WAY better off with amd unless you can't find a gpu
hes actually clueless
Sped
depends which gen you're talking about?
ryzen 5 9600x is less than a year old.
Ryzen 5 introduce in 2017 I didnβt say Ryzen 5 9600x Iβm not getting my little cousin something that powerful he doesnβt need it
ryzen 5 means 6c/12t
thats⦠all it means
And I was saying that it was introduced 5+ years ago
It can be 9600x or 1600x
its a naming scheme, not a part
The same way bro said intel 10 was introduced 5+ years ago I literally did nothing different. Youβre still just on here looking for a reason to get upset because youβre a anger sped
intel core i5 was intro'd 20 years ago
hey can you like not call me that, thanks
intel 10 is a generation, ryzen 5 is a label
bro left lmao
dang
8GB GPUs:
why do they exist, and why do people buy them?
cheap and they probably just playing esports game
will be nice if the standard is 16gb from this day onward..
yeah
Actually they dont sell much
its not like its more expensive to load them with moar vram right?
it hurts them in business stand point
u can make 2 cards
out of 16 gb vram set
https://x.com/TechEpiphanyYT/status/1944826511132959138
Cpu sales
https://x.com/TechEpiphanyYT/status/1945461841490047027
Gpu sales
hm
1/6.4 gpus are 8gb
Brotha left after we tried helping him
Mindfactory sold 30x more 9060xt 16gb than 8

Why did amd think their more nerdy userbase would fall for it
The 8 gig scam only works on normies
Wow 9070 xt topping the chart by a long shot
No wonder it is still overpriced, its just what I thought
gg
lmao
I scroll up and I see the biggest copefest
It's especially funny because everyone unanimously agrees that he got ripped off
I've been saying for weeks that LGA1200 is a bad idea
especially when the average motherboard costs more than LGA1700
and the cpus aren't any cheaper
"you're a anger sped"
Sink water intellect speak
I like how we all js clownin on him
True
Iβm waiting for fans for my radiator, but for now this is working
?
I got the kraken plus 360 radiator and this things trash
Yeah people hate on nzxt for a reason
@little osprey return it and get a thermalright
I want a arctic liquid freezer iii pro, but the ship dates were too far out
Lian li galahad is also really good
I've had nzxts coolers before. Cam was annoying so I never used it
But, this new one has a display and its smaller than the housing and you can see it
Nzxt bad

look at something like this instead
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D1JHNKSW
I did. The gold accents threw me off
I was almost looking at the same thing
This if you want it to be without accents and just a pure black look
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK3JS5QT
Everyone's cooler design does something that throughs me off
I liked the simple design of the old krakens
Thermalright has like 70 different designs now lol
there's bound to be one that you'd like
if it isn't just a radiator with arctic P fans on it it's a bad design
they need to make an arctic gpu too
gpus are so ugly
all this bs design language that doesn't speak to the card underneath
just keeps it caged
they had GPU coolers
its like 10 years old
If you want the weird ring LEDs NZXT liked to put on the old krakens, thermalright has those on a couple of aios too
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DK4T8LW7/
And if you just don't like the looks of any of the fans, and want the look of the larger bladed old kraken aios, you can just buy fans like these separately and still come in cheaper
https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BX9RZR38/
just marry these
I'm too particular about stuff lol. A companies logo might put me off
with a simple aluminum shroud or something
I didn't like the old deep cool aios that copied the nzxt because I hated the logo
can just get or print some stickers to stick over them lol
or just buy like arctic p12s and put them on a thermalright aio with a lcd
either way I'd still encourage you to take some time to look around thermalright's website and see if you can mix and match something to your liking, since they're currently offering good performance at a far cheaper price than everyone else at the moment
holy overpriced
dang those are cheap
Fr
Sapphire pulse 9070xt or gigabyte 9070xt?
gigabyte
Iirc just the pump + block can be bought for about $180.
Very overpriced indeed but I think I remember it being good for an AIO at least.
Witch one is better a 7700x or a 9600x
gpu 5070 ti, cpu- ryzen 5 7600x3d, mother board- mag b650t tomahawk , ram - t force vulcan ddr5 32 gig, tforce g50 m.2 2280 1tb ssd, cooler - thermalright peerless assassin 120 se , case - lian le cool 216 , psu - msi mag a750bn 80+ bronze non modular 750 watt im about to buy this build
what do you guys rate it
and is there anything i should know
is there a pcpp list?
also wow theres a few wrong things
what country?
haven't bought it ,my first time building one and i posted here to get help
so enlighten me what is wrong
and the us
@fallen sphinx
i was thinking abt this to https://www.microcenter.com/site/content/custom-pc-builder-amd.aspx
The power supply is the weak point in your list
What speed is your ram
6000
ok can you look at the link i sent and tell me what is better
and how mnay watts shoul i have like850?
oh weird
its the 3 in 1 micro center deal for a cpu ram and mother board
dmd the pic of whats in the bundle
I think this will be good
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/sqbypg/montech-century-ii-850-w-80-gold-certified-fully-modular-atx-power-supply-century-ii-850w
Oh ok
Oh yeah ok i know the bundle
I just have a nitpick about the ram timings but its still ok for a x3d cpu
ok
I think its nice
ok so other than the power supply its good
The g50 ssd is also good too
not the tomahawk
I almost bought it
yeah its nice
Only reason I didnt buy it was because I was trying to find something just under $100 bc I had a gift card
yeah makes sense
There was a $100 gift card promo for $85 so I got the teamgroup mp44L since that was under 100

π
should i gp for that
for future profing
If you plan to get a chonker later on then sure
also one more question what moniter should i get i what a isp of some kind
You mean IPS?
Eh
It is cheaper than prebuilts, but itβs still kinda expensive for an easy process
yeah kinda forgot what they were called still new to this stuff
Good 240hz 1440p res OLED monitor under 600$?
Can anyone adjust this list that someone had made for me last week. Try to keep it below 1,250$ and include a monitor if u can!!! He also likes the case so keep that too π. Ping me if you want to help me
Are these fans any good? ~3 usd a piece seems like temu level quality
The 5 pack is the same price
Thought it was arctic p12s for a second, but antec p12 is just okay
Had to re-read this but you should link the list
Ok hereβs the updated one I forgot to send the old one
I got distracted
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, SAMA SV01 ATX Mid Tower
I'd trade the AIO for a better motherboard tbh
Not sure about that vetroo tbh
Not sure if that's the good one or not
Yeah this is the vetroo with no reviews
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, SAMA SV01 ATX Mid Tower
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, SAMA SV01 ATX Mid Tower
This if you want to keep the AIO
I assume the AIO is there for aesthetic purposes anyways
That being said
If he's never going to upgrade the cpu
The original list is fine if you swap out the psu
Reminder that most zen 4 can't run 6400 CL32
So you'll have to go into bios and set it to 6000 CL30
If it doesn't run at xmp
no its the reviewed one, century II aint in stock rn so be wanted one in stock
is it?
Where did you find that?
psu tier list
For a lianli 216, what would the minimum amount of fans be for proper airflow
@plain cobalt are those... one peice fans?
Should I upgrade the gpu in this to A 9060xt or just re build
yes
they are somewhat common now
what system dawg
crap
1s
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/4yGckf i edited your list
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 5600X, Radeon RX 7600, SAMA ARGB-Q5 MicroATX Mini Tower
here
I think that might be a bottleneck
if 1440p then it would be close to being one yeah
this depends on game though
for my games it would be a bottleneck
Me too
Minecraft with shaders
Lmfao
I have another question
PRO B650-S WIFI: Business Elegance Designed for value-oriented creative businesses on the AMD B650 chipset (Ryzen 9000 / 8000 / 7000 series supported, AM5), the MSI PRO B650-S WIFI motherboard includes a primary PCIe 4.0 x16 graphics card slot (with Steel Armor), the latest DDR5 memory module sup...
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600X, Radeon RX 9060 XT, SAMA SV01 ATX Mid Tower
Can I replace the mobo in this list with the one I pasted
Or is it not worth it
It looks almost the same
Thats awesome but kinda bad if u ever wanna move it
is this used pc worth $1000 CAD?
π SPECS:
- CPU: Intel Core i9-9900K (8-Core, 5.0 GHz)
- GPU: EVGA RTX 3070 (1440p Beast!)
- RAM: 32GB Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro (3600MHz)
- Storage: 1TB Orico NVMe SSD (Lightning Fast)
- Motherboard: Gigabyte Z390 AORUS
- PSU: Thermaltake 600W 80+
