Not the worst choice if you want a thin and light but it's not really an engineering system at all

If you go into the setting for your sound and turn the mic off, it'll take care of it.

Cick on window's start menu (or just hit windows button) and start typing "devices" (no quotes).
Then click on "Devices and printers".
Right click on your bluetooth device (Example: LG HBS770) then select "properties".
4.. A properties dialog is displayed, go to "Services" tab.
Disable "Handsfree Telephony"
hit "Apply", then "OK".
Wait few seconds until new configuration takes place.
If your headset is not connected, connect it.

It can take 5 or more minutes to boot the first time.
Also make sure the monitor is on the correct input.
Check for lights next to the RAM, there should be 4 and it'll tell you what part of the boot process it's on.

some mobos disable some sata ports if there's a m.2 drive

but usually it's the last 2 sata ports, so try to plug into sata 1

iirc my own mobo has sata 5 and sata 6 disabled

Looking to get a budget, value Laptop to finish off these last few years of University, and I need help finding a current deal. Here's what we're looking for:

Uses Windows 10/11
Humble Graphics Card (to at least be able to play games at 1080p/60fps during school holiday breaks, as opposed to bringing the Desktop PC back and forth every break)
Don't need to run any intensive programs; Will just be using Microsoft Office / Google Suites - (If the Laptop's specs can drive games, surely it'll be more than enough for any kind of non-engineering professional work?)

Hey Bacca, good to hear from you. Yeah, current laptop just feels mushy and slow. Tried reinstalling windows + all the other tips & tricks, but at the end of the day, I'm just not feeling good about using this as my every-day driver. Plus there's been the problem of buying a month of GeForce Ultimate every single School break I get, so I think it's time to cut out the middleman and get a laptop that can also be used for light gaming even when I'm done with this Master's degree

Hold on, what's the difference between an dgpu & an igpu in regards to laptops-- I thought all most gpus could be discerned into either a giant desktop brick or a tiny chip that goes inside a laptop
