too many things nowadays that stand for something
true
It was black desert online lol
lol
Try a new one
where am i going to get a new one
Make sure to plug it into the gpu
it is its not turning the mointor on not the dp
Idk man, you want me to look in your house for you?
See if there's a power switch on the monitor somewhere
And press the power button for a few seconds
Where you live
if the monitor is switching on then ye I'd find any display cable you could substitute to test it
Power cable
the monitor isn't switching on
if not turning on at all, that's different
tried differnt plug still not on
cable
If anything you can just return it
if you can try another cable
maybe hope
if not yeah
I would claim dead on arrival
where am i going to get another cable lol
cable
that's a standard kettle cable
ok so me return it
C13 power cable
if you have one in your house, it will work with the monitor
you can find these in most electronics
I dont
One connected to PC will work
??
what
One included with your psu
not all but most
if no turn on then it's deadge
if turn on then new cable is like, $5
not worth a return for $5
1 sec let me turn off my pc
alr
It is dead
ooh dear
didn't turn on when you tried pressing a button or something?
Me chatting with Amazon support
they may even arrange a courier
you could see if they could drop off a new one then they take the old one back
They said they will just refund me and I would have to buy another one
Anyone want a doa monitor
they don't want to take the broken one??
Nvm they just said that
Yeah
the $200 one there is a really good deal
Whatās the difference
older
I paid 217 plus tax on Amazon
the $200 one is good
can confirm
it's a revised panel, one of the better budget 1440p options
I will never recommend Acer again if that happens lmao
good question, not sure why, the XV272U is very good tho
XV271U M3 is a couple years old afaik, not a lot of info out there about it
meanwhile 272U has a lot of good reviews
Now I got to remove the stickers from the box š¦
What worked
Check cable
Itās a dp
Does it set to 165 or 144
I will try 165
No 165
No 144
I had replace it with an old monitor and it was able to do 144
Is this a new pc
Old
What gpu is it
Does it say anything in the manual?
No
Do you have a hdmi cable
Cable or port ye
cable
No I mean, it could be the port on gpu or monitor being the suspect
Or yes cable
For a cheap cable I'd pick almost anything DP1.4a tbh
Or DP2.0/2.1
If you want a brand, amazon search "dtech"
what is it
1.2 doesn't do even 1440p 144hz iirc
still going?
That would have to be a very old cable tho
yeah it failed 1440p at 144
bought it like 3 years ago
so prob yeah
I will buy the 16k verison one
since its 2.1
You could try 1440p 120hz on the dp cable
I mean if that still works it's usable
For something else I mean
but the hdmi they gave me allow me to do 144hz
Either that's not even 1.2 or something in that handshake is buggered lol
Did you use it on your previous monitor?
Is the archibald guy right?
archibald
There are "better" graphics cards, but not at that price point unless you're going used
4070/7800xt price might come down with 4070 super launch
Though I'd save the $10 and do
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/gCvD4D/powercolor-fighter-oc-radeon-rx-7800-xt-16-gb-video-card-rx7800xt-16g-foc
ty
My friend's trying to get a new pc but he also has someone else giving him advice and I wanna make sure it's not one of those brand bias people
What's his budget for the whole pc?
I can throw together what I'd do for you to compare against
Probably $1400 or something by now
I asked him a while ago but his budget might have increased
Oh 4070 ti/7900xt 100%
What about $1300 just in case?
Is he just gaming?
Mostly
And does he care about aesthetics/rgb?
I don't think so
Sick
He just wants a strong pc
Do you know if he uses ethernet?
He doesn't from what I know of
Ok last question, does he need a monitor?
Yeah definitely
Ah alright
Ok first option, over $1300
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/7f3vN6
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Radeon RX 7800 XT, Phanteks Eclipse G300A (1 Fan) ATX Mid Tower
Gonna do a cheaper one
a 7600 will be enough for a 7800xt build?
This is the cheaper option imo
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/hyvhGP
Part List - Intel Core i5-12400F, Radeon RX 7800 XT, Phanteks Eclipse G300A (1 Fan) ATX Mid Tower
100%, 7600 won't limit a 7900xt at 1440p
Xtx it does a little bit
But honestly 7600/xtx is a fine pairing
12400f might limit it a bit, it depends on the game
But it's still a very capable pc. On the flip side of doing cheaper, could do https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6NRyQP
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Radeon RX 6800, Phanteks Eclipse G300A (1 Fan) ATX Mid Tower
6800 is around 10-15% worse than 7800xt I think?
But you get a better cpu, as well as cpu upgradability
Imo I'd rather 7600/6800 over 12400f/7800xt
He could also do a used 3080/6800xt or better for around 350-450
can anyone give me an idea on the performance I'm going to get on my build? I've already bought my cpu and cpu cooler, and I know the 3060 isn't the best, but it is what fits my budget currently. I'm open to criticism though
Part List - Intel Core i5-12600KF, GeForce RTX 3060 12GB, NZXT H9 Flow ATX Mid Tower
For only $10 more you could have gotten a 6700, but what's done is done.
Performance will vary by game, resolution, and settings.
I assume that's a different cpu
No it's an AMD GPU that gets about 15% more performance than the 3060
Oh nvm the 6700 I was looking at is out of stock
lol
any thoughts on my other parts? I don't think I need to worry about those, they look pretty good for me
There is this though, the 6700 XT gets slightly better performance than the 3060 ti on average. https://www.newegg.com/sapphire-radeon-rx-6700-xt-11306-01-20g/p/N82E16814202399T?Item=N82E16814202399T
Which is about 20% more than the 3060
Could have saved some money on a few things but nothing jumps out as "bad" parts
does the cpu go on the 6700 XT? idk if that's a dumb question but it looks like there is a cpu slot on it lol
nah I'm tripping
No it goes on the motherboard, what you're probably looking at is the MLCC (capacitors) behind the GPU core
yeah idk what I was thinking lmao
if I were to get the 6700, would my current power supply be sufficient?
What's cool about the GPU is it has an argb header on it too, that's a nice bonus
750W would be enough for a 7900 XTX or 4080, even a 4090 when paired with a lower power CPU
If you're gaming https://pcpartpicker.com/list/zymJTY
Part List - Intel Core i5-12400F, Radeon RX 7800 XT, Phanteks Eclipse G300A (1 Fan) ATX Mid Tower
That would give a lot better perf
Ah you alr bought the cpu and cooler
Yeah that would be the min/maxed list, but they already bought most of the parts
Ohh thought they just said cpu and cooler they bought, mb
yeah I wanted to get some more opinions on my other parts before I locked in my choices yk
Oh you're right, I remembered wrong
I'd do that list with the cpu and cooler you bought then, if it's still in budget
Otherwise I'd do 6800 at $400
If you can cancel the cpu order, 12600k is $170
Same cpu but has an igpu
what's the difference between the 12600k and and the KF variant?
And if you wanted to go ddr5
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/JDbxWt
Part List - Intel Core i5-12600KF, Radeon RX 7800 XT, Phanteks Eclipse G300A (1 Fan) ATX Mid Tower
K has igpu
Kf doesn't
F means no integrated GPU, that's it
Hey heads up, I meant to include fans in those lists
which means integrated graphics..?
The thermalright c12c 3 pack black tgb is $14 on amazon, go for those
The Intel iGPU is mostly useful for driving a secondary display or troubleshooting
Gpu built into the cpu. It doesn't hurt to have, it's good to have for troubleshooting and some other occasional things, like streaming
But otherwise it's the same cpu and $15 cheaper
You could also go for am5 with a 7600, it comes with a stock cooler and costs the same as the 12600k and the cooler you got ($200)
And is a bit better, as well as has an upgrade path
12600k sockets best cpu is already out. 7000 series is the first generation on its socket, so likely at least 2-3 gens to come
I heard about that from someone else actually
Ryzen 8000 is looking pretty noice, a good 15-20% better
not being able to upgrade because it's the current most recent cpu
This would be the 7600 list
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qry334
Part List - AMD Ryzen 5 7600, Radeon RX 7800 XT, Phanteks Eclipse G300A (1 Fan) ATX Mid Tower
very cool
You know what would be an absolute game-changer for pc building?
Less cables?
real
wireless psu
Having a program that would create 3D models of every single part you could put into it.
Then, you could build PCās and see if they would fit all the parts+how it looked in a 3D model before you built it/buy.
12v over bluetooth
PCBS
brain
Is that a thing already
doesnāt have everything but it has a lot of things
there you go
wouldnāt really be a game changer though
figuring out physical compatibility isnāt that difficult
It's still cool for seeing how everything looks all put together
yeah
@potent portal I think I'm gonna take your advice and get the 6700XT
20% more fps for 10% less money is an easy W to me
I'm wondering though, I cant find the exact same model on pcpartpicker, is that an issue? I just wanna make sure every is completely compatible
It's out of stock on pcpp, it'll fit though
alr thanks
It's this one https://pcpartpicker.com/product/tCLFf7/sapphire-radeon-rx-6700-xt-12-gb-nitro-video-card-11306-01-20g
You can add it to the list and manually set the price
awesome, thanks for the help
one last question, do you think it would be worth buying the refurbished one off Newegg? brand new is about 500 it looks like, and I'm always looking to keep cost down
I don't want to sacrifice quality though
If it's now much more, get the new one
For 6700xt?
There's plenty of models around 300-330, if you want new go for one of those
If you're fine with refurb, $260 is a pretty nice price
I just don't know if I would be sacrificing any performance with the refurbished one
No
You would not be
GPUs don't lose any performance with use, as long as they're clean enough that they're not overheating. Even used mining cards are fine.
I wonder how good the 4070 super is to the 7800xt
I heard itās exactly on par or even better
4070 super will be a good chunk faster
it's just a 4070ti with 85% cuda so
expect it to beat 7800xt
same vram, same bandwidth
Ofc I had to buy a 7800xt a month before too š
If you compared to two side my side with show fps off, you likely couldn't notice a difference
ya
there is a difference but i don't think it's worth feeling bad over
4070 perf is still pretty strong
This screams 2000s
It screams no flow
Looking it up
Seems like itās just made of cheap plastic and has molex connectors for everything
Thereās a lot of these types made by this company too
Seems they just popped out whatever was drawn on a napkin lmao
Everyone made these cases
I can tell
And these aren't bad
Coming from being on Xbox like 3 years ago, a lot of the cases I thought were cool in my Xbox days, are decades old now
They're still good for servers
Looks flimsy
I wonder when nivida gonna get good like drivers software as AMD
POV: LInux user
POV: Iām too stupid for that
Hey Iām trying to plug in my pc case fans into the motherboard but Iām stuck with this lhe connector that doesnāt quite fit the system fan slots on it Iām plugging it into a b550 auros
that is not a fan connector
proprietary. goes to case hub or something. -- yep, we know it doesn't go straight to mobo though.
could be an extension
It does say LHE
All I have is that, the rgb, and this
Unless I connect this piece to one of the psu females but other than that I donāt see how to connect it to the motherboard because the rgb only turns on the rgb right?
that is a molex connector...that goes to your PSU
said psu is often labeled perif/peripheral, but here's what all look like:
Does it matter which one I use? I think my gs 700 has a couple molex cables
nope
Something interesting about my PC. It's a Asus b550-i with a 7 3700x, a Strix 1080 8GB GTX, Corsair sf750 80+ gold, and 32GB Corsair vengeance RGB pro ram. My motherboard has the debug LEDs, and my white one for VGA is always lit even though my system boots and displays just fine. I can even game on it stably. No thermal issues either
might just need a reseat
Meh
I don't have a screwdriver
It boots, I'm not worried
I still find it interesting tho
my x570 does that then maybe a few weeks later I get insufferable boot issues
ymmv ig but up to u
Oof
Honestly wish I could swap my 1080 GTX with my 3080 strix, but oh well
Can't do custom loop in my itx case
can't do air?
My 3080 is in a custom loop rn and I forgot where I put the stock cooler
Grab a spare off something like eBay or Mercari
Nah
I don't really use that much GPU power anyways
It's mostly CPU or RAM
Like id probably benefit from a Ryzen 9 vs a 3080
https://pcpartpicker.com/product/FCPQzy/cooler-master-haf-700-evo-atx-full-tower-case-h700e-ignn-s00
Is there a reason this is $700?
it's a ridiculous case
good but ridiculous
it has a lot of rgb and a little screen on the front
plus it's a rare full tower size
I'd go 1000D instead
I'd do enthoo pro 2 at that size tbh
I use the Asus tuf gt502
Basically the lian li od-11 xl or whatever it's called, but cheaper
honestly the only thing stopping me from going enthoo pro 2 is the cost for more rads
I can easily run a dual system config in it
I'm just waiting for the newer motherboards where all the connectors are on the back to become more mainstream and a full size ATX case similar to the gt502 to be available
you've got montech king95 no?
is that case any good? Or is it just inflated price?
Yeah up before that
@cyan ravine
Then why ask if I use a montech?
you asked for a case like GT502
I didn't
I offered an option
"Hey, look at this case, you might be interested" context
I don't think thats compatible with the newer boards where ALL the connectors are on the rear
it's not
Yeah, then it's not gonna work
It's just making convo lmfao
I'm looking for a case that's similar to the 502 AND compatible with those boards
While waiting for those boards to be cheaper
can already tell the airflow is terrible
O11 vision
Seems a little too open
open?
it's a case with 3 sides of glass?
unless you mean like open plan open
lol
9001D
To all the cable management wizards that can make any build looking sharp and clean
What's your trick? How do you manage cables to not be seen?
zip ties, cable ties, and/or Custom Cables
So just a crapton of zipties?
And maybe some post-its to label cables so if something breaks you know what to unplug to replace it?
post its?
Since there's a lot of like
RGB cables that are a pain to remember what plugs where
Little sticky note thingies
Though I might just make the jump and order a small pallet of Arctic P12 PST ARGBs and use those exclusively
Just cuz you can daisy chain like 8 of them off of a single standard case fan header, so it'd be really easy to cable manage them all
Post its don't stick for very long in dusty environments. If you want something along those lines you can do the little cable flag labels.
Hello! I'm new to discord, I just built a new computer and right out the gate having issues with the thing staying on. I have already swapped out the power supply and the HDD. Now I am at a loss on what else is going on.
What specs do you have? Do you have any debug lights on? What slots are your memory sticks in?
Did you remove the plastic from the bottom of the CPU cooler?
I am running a 13th gen intel i7, with patriot venom DDR5 RAM, my sticks of memory are in A1, A2.
it also boots up to the bios and then just shuts off.
Are there any better cases that do this same system as a display?
Do slots 2 and 4
And secure all connections and make sure ram is fully slotted in
It seems like thereās a big problem with airflow in this so Iām looking for alternatives
Which is usually A2/B2
What motherboard? You may need a bios update for 13th Gen on some boards
airflow comes from bottom, so everything basically goes to the gpu, I have a similar case (ap201) and I have the back fan as intake into the cpu
so everything is pretty cool under load
What recommendations would you give for flow to the gpu?
fans or?
Yes, I am too inept for water cooling
C12c or p12s
Do you know of any free/low cost hardware monitoring software?
HWiNFO
I prefer HWmonitor
I used to when I didn't know about HWiNFO
So this is a good case if I replace base fans?
I used hwinfo first
Yeah, just make sure to have a flat surface (like desk) under it
Thisāll be the desk o use
I prefer hwinfo because it has more integrations with other software. I use it with Fan Control to read my GPU sensor data and control my bottom fans.
@potent portal
THE CUBE
I think Iāve found fiancĆ©s pc
It is this
Could you make me a list of parts compatible to that with a similar level of power? (So I can save $1190)
US?
Yes
I'll remember that, cheers for the tip
Also holy mother of God that build fee
Yeah, Iām gonna build it myself lmao
Apparently this case is quite nice for airflow and space
She will literally cry if she gets this thing
Just make sure to use the extra airflow plate
But yeah it can probably house something pretty powerful
Maybe not 4090 powerful, but still
I'm honestly kinda tempted to get one myself
Like it just looks so good
Theyāre custom made. None are the same.
Theyāre the only people licensed in the world to do a Star Trek pc component
Those fans are a crime
Reeeee
They should be green
Ah
I'd mod it
Take out the force field at the front of the case
And replace it with voyager firing torpedos into the cube
This would be a little better than the system they priced out, sorry about the delay. Wait for the 4070 ti Super to launch in 12 days.
https://pcpartpicker.com/list/VD2w89
Part List - Intel Core i5-13600K
Or just get a 7900 XT instead of the nvidia card, similar price but much better performance
Part List - Intel Core i5-13600K, Radeon RX 7900 XT
Well maybe the 4070 ti super will match the 7900 XT after all. We'll have to see.
Iāll send this to her and see if she likes it.
are these the jumper pins?
nvm
it says clr_cmos
lmao
Tried to increase the speed of my ram from 2600mhz to the 3200mhz it shouldāve been at and I had to restart the cmos because of it
yes
depends on your specs
oh god that was a bad typo
LMAO
I didn't realise the d and c were so close on a keyboard
uh yeah depends on your specs
and the age of the ram and kit
4060 ddr4 3200mhz 4x8gb
what cpu tho
i5-12400f
b760
doāt think it matters but 650w lol
so what exactly happened when you switched it
was setting up brotherās new prebuilt⦠and I went to check the speed of the ram in task manager and it was at 2600 and not the 3200mhz so i went to bios -> advanced mode and saw the system memory multiplier at auto 2400 so I set it manually to 3200 and when I booted I got the red led for vram
actually not sure if it was for the vram but im assuming so
then I reset the cmos
Should XMP be enabled?
maybe I changed the wrong thing as well lol
all at once
prebuilt cane with it
well ig im not sure
either way its the sane brand of ram for each
what ram is it
do you mean the brand or like specs
anything you can give me really
if you can take them out and send them with the stickers on the back it would help a lot too
well the website doesnāt specify but itās t-force and its 4x8gb ram 3200mhz
sure
oh sorry
not sure if it matters but it shouldnāt be too surprising that itās nzxt
š
I was trying to compare manu dates
first 4 numbers of SN are year and week of the year
no they're all the same kit
100%
interesting
ok next thing
Iāve never taken this many before š„µ not sure if i took them out right
Serial numbers are sequential too, nice
pretty sure Imm chilling tho
2 and 4 right
oh yeah some boards are
prolly chilling tho
click top and bottom
nah
if 2 work at 3200 but 4 don't, it's one of three things:
- dead stick
- board doesn't like 4 sticks which leads to 3:
- they didn't test these systems at all at 3200 (which is what's in front of us)
nah
go out of that
knew it lol
go up to XMP
yup
then click profile 1
yep

ok do I save and exit then put in the rest of the sticks
save and exit
wait for 2 to post
go to bios
turn off
then immediately put 4 in
try again
it should just try with 3200
bios -> turn off xmp -> dave and exit -> turn off pc -> install the rest -> bios -> try xmp?
bios
turn on xmp
save exit
wait for new post
back to bios
turn off
put sticks 1 and 3 in
turn on again
wait for post
go to bios
check for 3200
2 sticks?
after I saved and exit it was blakx screen so I restarted pc and it showed this
lol
nvm
turn it off completely then
the battery fell out of my mouse

just turn off then
š
take out the first 2, put the other two in slot 2 and 4
try the same thing again
sounding like a bad stick or slot rn
got damn unclipping the bottom one just made them fly out šš
I had one do that and it managed to break a header on the bottom of my board
a crunch?
is it in
i took it out
yea try again
the bottom clip didnt go by itself
if you're unsure about the way the ram went in I always just opt for a do over
failure again
Iām hearing very tiny little voices crunches when I insert them
voices?
i did not type that
autocorrect šš

it should clip top and bottom, but not all sticks are created equal
some just, their tolerance is still good enough but they a chungus really
ye
it should click top and bottom
yeah
turn it off now
kk

ye looking like it
lately I feel most pretty serious pc issues seem to come from prebuilts
which is understandable due to transport
saved and exit and it wont display rn
it said save and exit then restart?
led flickering back n forth between smthn rn
yea
gimme a sec let me verify something
ok
so what ima say is you should probably take up warranty here with nzxt if you're not confident with taking a pc apart
it's not giving you the advertised 3200
this could be either the board is just a bad same or something is wrong with the cpu imc
I really doubt 2 or 4 sticks of ram are faulty but you could keep trying to shuffle them to maybe see
i got butter fingers lol would not be able to do that
tbh
might just leave jt at that
turn off xmp
could I keep it on and not have any issues is my question though
yep
but 2666 with slow af timings
ngl
so it's a lot worse than 3200 xmp
I have 2x16gb in my pc at 2666mhz because of my motherboard
I would personally take that up as a warranty claim tbh
yeah but b760m supports 3200
and Iāve been running games like tarkov pretty well
either you haven't tried playing out of jedec or your 2666 kit is an xmp lol
yo ngl I would too but w/ a mom that isnāt tech savvy whatsoecer
and mexican
jedec off is slow, you get mad stutters
Iām scared to do warranty

I suspect it's honestly the cpu
I haven't known any 12th gen or newer to not do 3200 out of the box
it's supported by default
if it doesn't run that, it's faulty
by spec definition
going to leave it for now with xmp off
alr
will discuss and decide w/ mother at a later date
or if I become confident enough
Iāll come back and ask for assistance with whatevr
and by butter fingers
I also mean
try and aim to get it done before the year warranty is up, cos they won't help you after that
yep
bad exp with nzxt so far
my build is from late 2020
prebuilts really in general aren't great
they neevr responded to emails about the fire prone psu yhey gave me
I mean prebuilts are fineeee
ARE YOU STILL USING THAT RISER CABLE
nahhh
i switched everything w/ the psu
but if I were to have been using it still
what wouldve happened
hust curious
this sounds like one of those cliche
movie moments LMAOO
the riser shorts to the case, and can create a lot of heat, leading to a house fire yeah
they had a bandaid fix but they should have responded to you
that's disgusting
for future reference lad
NZXT really in general
not great lmao
Aesthetics tho
not even
bruh they copy everyone else
White out and blacked out boards tho
only thing they did original was the toilet case
Ngl
freaking urinal cake h5
What about the cable hiding sheet metal

I wasnāt too sure whether or not my psy was the one that caught fire
oh yeah, did you know bequiet is copying that now
it was like 11 months into owning it w/ no problems

and I looked it up rn and apparently I bought it 6 months after their statement abt the fires
Be quiet is untouchable because of the long boi screwdriver
also that's not NZXT's idea, that's from the guy who heads up Hyte now
so maybe I replaced it for no reason
it wasn't the psu, it's the riser
but you replaced the riser
oh yeah
so all is well
donāt think it mattered if i did or not is what Iām saying
oh the psu? probably
depends
if it had plastic screws holding it in
yes it didn't really
if it had metal screws
NOPE
anyways
I have the 4 sticks in
should I do the jumpers
ir just boot and go to bios and turn off xmp for now
don't need to worry about that part
lol
hold the power button with the pc off for 10 seconds
that's really it
i've never done that
an extra precaution
š
I never do it now
if you hold the power button it drains power from the whole system
much easier
is there any way to check jn task manager if its using all sticks?
unless its completely ruled out that one is dead or a slot is frad
it'll say 32gb
it's just about completely ruled out dead slot
more sus it's board to cpu rn
all 4 sticks booted to 3200 iirc
and not just, did so straight away
in fact suggestion @frigid jackal
if you can get the chance
anyone else think the idea of wifi attenas are kinda silly
try a 2x16gb kit of 3200 ram
I just remembered, if it's board layout, then it may actually just hate the idea of 4 sticks
restart
and wait for it to load to windows all the way
otherwise you'll trigger drive repair
hmmmm
dont think I did anything last time
oh acrually
yeah I did
I had the pc still on top of my desk, turned it on to see if it worked with all four sticks again
saw it went to the screen and immediately powered off
lol
we chillin
login
yeahhh
lmao
basicallt
at 3200??
ok
lmao
alr
Hey felix
You remember the build you put together for me?
Part List - AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D, Radeon RX 7800 XT, Jonsbo D31 STD MicroATX Mini Tower
If I had a few extra $ to spend, what should I change out? Lets say $50-100 more. Like maybe some better cooling/aesthetics
Iirc from searching, a lot of those things were lucky finds
If you can manage a gpu upgrade to like a 6950xt then sure
But otherwise I wouldn't really bother with it tbh
Buy a 50-100$ keyboard?
Keychron C1 brown switch is kinda nice
Im not buying the gpu at the moment, I have an rx590 to go with the build
Could put the money towards that though
Mm
That's what I'd maybe do, if you want a peripheral upgrade
Good monitor could be doable for 200
Yeah I could go with a keyboard change
#peripherals-and-displays is the better place to ask for the usual recommendations
I have the g pro x superlight so the mouse is good
Decent, although small, because I dont have a lot of desk space available
But yeah Ill go to #peripherals-and-displays if ill be going with a new keyboard
There are a few good small options
You can also consider a desk pad to cover under keeb* too
Although I kinda want to switch out the ram for something a bit more aesthetically pleasing
If you can match the xmp for a couple more euros go for it
I will say avoid corsair if possible but if it's the cheapest then it's arguably ok
Alright good to know
There are a lot of brands
Silicon power
Adata xpg
Patriot viper
G.skill ripjaws or trident z (iffy with the latter)
Corsair vengeance/dominator (avoid as much as possible)
Teamforce deltas/vulcans (great)
Teamforce t-create (excellent)
V color are great
Like always great
Their entire lineup afaik is hynix
Could be wrong but they clearly state the type of ram it uses and hynix is what you you want
Ahh teamforce or team group?
They can be very good yeah
Just make sure you match the xmp
5600 CL32
6000 CL30
6400 CL32
Aim for one of those primarily
5600 CL28 also excellent
But that's ripjaws only iirc
Okay will look for some great deals, thanks
Np, the CL numbers just confirm that it's good ram
Means the system will run faster than other kits and the resale on it will be better in a few years (hynix is a bit coveted)
What about cl40 lmao
Haha figured that. Alrighty
