just starting to have problems with my PC after moving it to a different place. I’ve never had any issues until the other day and now I have full PC stutters every few seconds straight from boot. when i get into a game (example being Overwatch) the menu is laggy but i can play a match super clean and smooth for a few minutes but then my computer will shut off completely as if i had unplugged it. it also does the same thing with Civ 6 and I’m assuming it’s a component issue after having updated any driver I could as well as my bios and trying so many solutions i’ve found online

any suggestions on a specific component would be appreciated

Try re seating the gpu and ram etc. Maybe something got knocked loose.

Maybe a wire got knocked loose and is blocking one of the gpu fans causing it to throttle.

I can definitely check wires and reseat stuff, but cooling has not been hindered, I’ve made sure to keep a close eye on temps and clock speeds while the stuttering is happening right up until the instant shutdown

It all appears normal it just seems so weird, I almost feel like something must’ve have with the PSU or something shorted on the motherboard. Something along those lines

3200G has a slightly higher base clock, same boost clock, but only 4MB L3 cache compared to 8MB on the 2300X

so it's going to be significantly weaker than the 2300X

it also only has support for pcie 3.0 x8 on the gpu, while the 2300X supports x16

My last phone had a pretty bad drop that would've spelled the end to its screen had I not have one installed

Screen protectors rarely protect the screen from cracks, it's usually just chips and scratches at worst. The really high quality TG ones can help with certain kinds of drops, spreading out the impact so only the TG breaks and not the screen.

It's hard to find a TG one that doesn't interfere with touch screen operation sometimes though, depending on the phone model

Android is set up in a way that isolates the fingerprint from the rest of the phone, so even though apps can be unlocked or signed in with a fingerprint doesn't mean they have access to it. It's up to the OS to give the ok to the app.

I managed to hard brick my first G7 with a bad flash. I got it replaced in warranty. The second one stopped booting when I tried to root it (thanks verizon bootloader) and refused to flash back to stock, so I erased the bootloader and RMA'd that one too lol.

Yo guys do you know a way to tee in an Ethernet port to a coax internet cable?

Since we get our internet through those old coaxial cables that connect to a ISP-provided router that outputs to RJ45 ports

The problem is that for anyone else to have internet that router needs to be powered on and my stepdad turns it off at like 7pm for some reason

I would need to be able to connect a coax in to RJ45 out + coax out so the cable can keep going to the ISP router but also give my router access to the internet separately

Also said router is absolutely dogwater (awful signal, slow wifi, and just incessantly loud )
