1 13th gen E core is worth roughly 1/3 of a P core is perf but only take up the size on the die of 1 P core, which is useless for things like games which is why they run on the P cores but great for things like multicore workloads

More cores will only be beneficial for gaming when game developers start making games that utilize extra cores but that's a decent ways off since they need to cater to the vast majority.
